A/N: Will Dexter Not Show Up Like All The Other Times When He's Promised Blossom He'd Come Eat Lunch With Her? Blossom Is Upset When Someone Wants Her To Stop Talking To Brick. Who want's her to stop talking to Brick? And Why? Hmmmm Read To Find Out ... This Chapter Will Mostly Be About Brick x Blossom x Dexter, But I Will Try To Include The Other Characters.
BLOSSOMS POV...
I was so thrilled that today was the day we presented our project. Our project will be on display in the main building of our school. It amazed me how Brick talked with such knowledge it was a side of him that I never seen before. He used correct grammar, and words that I didn't know would even fit inside his vocabulary. I could have sworn I was drooling each time he spoke.
"So Bloss are we going to celebrate with a special lunch." Brick asked. I noticed a few days ago he called me that and his face turned bright red. That nickname was actually kind of cute though. It was the first time a boy had ever nicknamed me and I liked it.
"Of course what will we be having sir?" I asked.
"How bout I go off campus and grab whatever you like, my treat." He said.
"Brick no I couldn't ask you to leave school for me. I don't want you getting into any trouble."
"I won't get in trouble the principle and I made a deal back when I use to leave school to check on my dad. He knew the situation so he said I was allowed to leave school during lunch break but it was up to me to get back to school and be in class on time." he explained
"But doesn't he know your dad ..." I stopped not wanting to remind him even though I'm sure he knew what I was about to say.
"Yeah he knows but I want you to trust me. I won't get in any trouble."
"Okay if you say so." I said feeling defeated "Okay so what will we have for lunch?"
"Where would you like to eat from?"
"Hmmm well how about that Mexican restaurant. Its not far from here and there food is delicious."
"So you want what you usually get or you want something different this time?" he asked.
"The usual." I said slightly curious to know how he knows what I usually eat from there. I didn't think to hard on it though because we do stay in the same house together maybe he remembers from the times we got dinner from there.
"Okay I'll be back in a few minutes." and with that he left.
It amazed me how much my relationship with Brick has changed dramatically over the past few months. I went from hating his guts, to feeling sorry for him and wanting to be there for him. Then we started living under the same room, that's when I think I finally noticed how hot he was. I still remember the day I walked to his room door and saw him standing there shirtless. Now each and everyday he shows me how smart and funny he is. He's also very sweet and thoughtful. Sometimes I wonder how the heck I never noticed this side of him before?
After he got back we decided to eat lunch outside in front of the gym. He promised me that it was allowed and that we wouldn't get in any trouble so of course I agreed.
DEXTER'S POV...
I made my way down the hall with the brown paper bag in my hand. Moving swiftly because I was trying to make sure I got to the cafeteria before Blossom did. I sat down at the table where she usually sits. After a few minutes I saw her sister walking by and asked where Blossom could be. She told me she should be here soon and to just wait for her. That's exactly what I ended up doing. A few of my fellow lab mates came by and talked to me and before I knew it the sound of the loud screeching bell went off and lunch time was over.
"Hmm I wonder where she could be." I mumbled softly.
I grabbed the sack I had her lunch in and made my way down the hall. I was walking when I noticed her and another student standing next to her locker.
"Hey Blossom." I said as I walked over to talk to her.
"Hey Dexter." She spoke then turned to him "Brick I'll catch up with you later. I'll see you in sixth period."
He looked hesitant at first but he finally agreed and walked away.
"Hey I didn't know I'd see you today." She said opening her arms for a hug which I gladly accepted.
"I know I wanted to surprise you and bring you some lunch. I know I let you down the last few times so I thought I'd make it up to you today." I said holding up the brown paper bag I had her lunch in.
"I'm sorry I didn't know you were coming so I didn't go to the cafeteria today."
"It's okay. Now I see how you feel when I don't show up." He joked.
"I guess so" she laughed. At that moment the minute bell started to ring. "I have to go I really can't afford to be late."
"Okay I'll see you after class, love you." He said just as I was about to walk away.
"Love you too." she said as she hurried off to class.
It wasn't even two minutes I was alone In the hall when I saw one of my lab buddies.
"Hey Dex" He yelled out as he ran over to where I was standing.
"Hey Cj."
"When did you get here and why didn't you tell us you were coming to the school today." He asked.
"Because I planned on surprising Blossom and spending some time with her. I didn't tell you guys because I didn't want you to try and talk me out of it so I could do work." I explained.
"Yeah we do tend to do that a lot, sorry. How has things been going with you two?" He asked as we started walking in the direction of the lab.
"It's okay and it's going really well if I should say so myself."
"Oh I thought maybe you two had broken up or something." He said.
"Why would you ever think that?" I quickly asked.
"Because she's been spending alot of time with one of the Ruff brothers." he explained.
"Oh I don't think it's anything serious."
"Yeah but that boy and his brothers are really nothing but trouble. I would check into that If I were you. If I had a girlfriend I wouldn't even let her breath the same air as him." he finished with a laugh.
BRICKS POV...
"Hey Brick." Shelby spoke as she walked into fifth period.
"Hey." I answered.
"That was the driest hey someone has ever given me." She responded.
As bad as I wanted to flip her off I didn't. "Sorry Just not in the mood right now I'm a little upset."
"Oh I understand that's all you had to say."
"Okay." I said still looking down at my desk.
Class started and for some reason I couldn't pay attention. I was pissed off all at the fact that I had to leave Bloss with that nerd. I keep forgetting she has a boyfriend because when I'm with her it feels like she could be mines. I don't know how much longer I'll be able to take this, I really want her all to myself. I Realize now that how I use to tease her and flirt with her just to make her mad was me doing it partially cause I already had some feelings for her. I hate how I use to pick on Boomer about being crazy about a girl cause now I'm the exact same way about Bloss.
AUTHORS POV...
Blossom had unintentionally started comparing Dexter and Brick in her head over and over again. On the other hand Brick had been upset with just about everyone and everything until he got to sixth period with blossom again. Every time she was with him he would talk and make her laugh nonstop and that was something she really liked about him. Just as the school day was coming to an end Blossom had received a text from Dexter. He wanted her to stop communicating with Brick?!
BOOMERS POV...
For our anniversary Bubbles and I decided to not do anything big, just special. She decided she would cook us dinner and we'd watch movies and exchange whatever gifts we have for one another. Last year I surprised her with a trip to the ranch. We went horseback riding and there was a big party. It was so fun especially seeing that huge smile on her face all night. At the end of the day we decided that it wasn't all about going out and doing things in public, because it really just made us happy being with one another.
I was heading home from work my boss let me get off a little early because we weren't really busy today. I took to the sky in full speed ready to get home to my girl when I noticed Blossom. She was flying around looking bothered. I flew over to her to see what was going on.
"Blossom." I called out to her.
"Hey Boomer. What do you want?" She asked, not in a rude way she just seemed curious.
"I was on my way home and I saw you. I wanted to check on you because it seems like something is bothering you." I asked.
"Oh I was just trying to get in contact with Dexter to see why he seems so upset. For some reason he's not answering his phone." she explained.
"Why is it that you think he's upset?" I asked.
"If I tell you this you can't say anything please." she pleaded.
"Okay I promise."
"First he randomly texted me telling me I need to stop hanging around Brick and that he didn't even want me communicating with him at all." She said. It seemed like she was about to keep going but I had to interrupt.
"Why does he have a problem with you and my brother being friends?"
"I don't know but once I convinced him we were just friends he texted me again." She paused and sighed deeply "I don't know why it matters or who told him but he called me a liar and said something about Brick staying in the same house as me and maybe we are more than just friends and that I better stop talking to him immediately." she finished.
"Wow I really don't know what to say about that. Did he see you too doing anything out of the ordinary?" I asked curiously.
"No." She said looking strangely at me. "What is it for the two of us to be doing that's out of the ordinary? Brick is my friend and I really care about him. I don't want to have to stop talking to him when we finally became friends after this long time."
I thought about what she said and I thought about what Brick told me. I already knew for sure that Brick had mad love for her and I can tell she kind of has the same feelings for him. Without telling her about his feelings I'll have to see if she likes him the same way.
"So all of this is upsetting you because you don't want to stop talking to my brother?"
"Sort of because one I know he'll be mad at me if I just stop talking to him and two we just became close. I don't see why it matters to Dexter if I'm friends with Brick or not." she sighed again.
"Blossom don't get upset or anything when I ask you this but do you care about him more than friends?"
"No why do you say that?" she questioned quickly.
"I see the way you act when your around him, how you blush at everything he says, how happy you are whenever your with him. No offense but to me it seems like you kind of have feelings for him." I said and as she opened her mouth to speak I cut her off. "Before you say anything just think of what I just said then respond."
From the look on her face I could tell she was concentrating hard. It took her longer than I thought it would but she finally spoke again.
"BOOMER" She called out "I do have feelings for Brick" she said and stared at me shock faced.
SOOOOO AGAIN IT'S BEEN A MIN?! I'M SORRY FOR TAKING FOREVER I HAVE ALOT GOING ON IN LIFE RIGHT NOW. I WONT GET DEEP INTO THAT AND COMPLAIN BUT I DID HAVE THREE ESSAYS AND THEY ATE AWAY AT MOST OF MY TIME I HAVE ANOTHER 20 REPORT I'M WORKING ON SO THE NEXT CHAPTER MAY TAKE AS MUCH TIME AS THIS ONE.
