"Why do you want to kill Toshiro Hitsugaya?"

It was a simply question, one that could be answered with an immediate response, if Gibbs knew about soul reapers of course. He didn't though, so no one could truthfully answer that. Not to mention that neither the white haired captain nor his lieutenant actually remembered why. Hitsugaya just naturally assumed someone out there wanted to kill him, it went with being a soul reaper.

Taro, the leader of the band of assassins, spoke first: "He stole something that belongs to our employer, and still hasn't returned it."

Hitsugaya coldly responded, "I don't remember stealing anything in particular, nothing of any importance I assume."

"How dare you call the Lady's work unimportant!" the middle child, Koji, hissed angrily.

Matsumoto sighed and dropped her face into her hands, these boys had an ominous presence despite their appearances. They worked for someone, meaning that their decisions weren't necessarily their own.

"Fine, fine! If you must force it out of me!"

Everyone turned to Kisuke Urahara. The three boy killers knew what the man would say, they knew he'd tell the room everything. On the other hand none of the NCIS agents had a clue as to what was going to be said, the same with the other soul reapers in the room.

Kisuke dramatically draped the back of his arm over his forehead, "It was a travesty! Those boys, and a very beautiful woman came to me one night! It was dark, but I could feel their presence-"

In a single flash the youngest brother, Nao, had his hand over the shop keeper's mouth, causing his words to jumble into nothingness. Nao's eyes were dark, but innocent.

"He can't be serious," sighed DiNozzo, referring to Kisuke's dramatized story.

"I think he is," McGee replied.

Matsumoto, Hitsugaya, and Ichigo felt the sudden presence of immense power. Taro was powerful, yes, but this kid was dangerous. The feeling was gone, as the kid slowly returned to his seat, eying Urahara with unease. While DiNozzo and McGee were preoccupied with Kisuke's story telling, the other soul reapers were now curious as to the full extent of strength the brothers were capable of.

Urahara held his hands to his chest, "I was so scared!" he whined.

Ziva rolled her eyes at Urahara's display and Gibbs, annoyed, told the man to continue his story.

"Now, if little Nao-chan had let me finish uninterrupted the story would have been a little less incriminating for them," Urahara winked at Nao and his brothers, who scowled back at him.

"Their employer was there with the boys," Kisuke started, serious this time, "she approached with hostility, as I had figured out what her business was. She was, of course, a black market dealer. The main supplier of black market goods in the Soul Society, and the shops in the real world. Here. Japan. Everywhere."

Matsumoto slammed her hands down to the table as she stood, "That's the assignment Hitsugaya-taichou and I had before we lost our memories!"

Hitsugaya nodded at his lieutenant's remarks, remembering getting the seemingly simple assignment. His eyes widened in surprise as he could remember almost everything now. He had settled momentarily with the mysteries of his memories, but he didn't realize that the void in his memories had slowly been filling.

"What do you mean, Soul Society?" asked Ziva, who was part of the minority present that didn't know of the soul reapers.

"Oh, they didn't tell you yet?" Kisuke asked, confused. Though, he figured most the NCIS agents wouldn't know, yet that seemed false even now.

"Tell us what, exactly?" asked Gibbs.

Urahara laughed nervously, "Ask the brilliant taichou we have present!"

"Urahara!"

"What? I don't feel like talking any more about things I already know, and what majority in this room know."

Sighing, Hitsugaya decided it was time to explain, "We are what you call soul reapers, like the American grim reaper," and so the explanation went on, and finally those who did not know, knew.

"Unbelievable." Ziva quietly exclaimed. It was strange thing to accept as truth, yet with this new information holes were filled. Strange things about all these people were finally making sense.

Gibbs was silent in response, taking it all in, processing the new information. There were multiple theories and religions to explain what the afterlife would be like, what deity ruled and so on. Why couldn't such a story be true? It was believable, logically. Yet at the same time it defied logic and common sense. "Alright," Gibbs finally said, accepting it. It was hard to believe whole heartedly, but over time he could choose what to believe and not believe what he thought fit.

"Great no we're all on the same page!" Urahara smiled wider, it was a smile that was still existent through most his experience at NCIS.

"Wait," Ziva said, trying to bring it back to the situation at hand, "you said there was a women with the boys?"

Koji stiffened, he would definitely protect her. Their employer, the lady, was important. They could get him and his brothers, but not her.

"Oh yes, she controls them. They do her dirty work. Anyways-"

"LIAR! Coward! She is not like that!" Koji yelled across the table, standing up his hands were balled into fists.

Kisuke rolled his eyes, "See? Moving on, she asked me to sell her goods. I said yes of course. Who could deny such a beautiful woman? I wasn't going to sell them, but Jinta or Ururu must have accidentally grabbed them and sold them to you two," Kisuke sighed, motioning to Hitsugaya and Matsumoto.
