It is now time for Raizen to face his greatest challenge yet: School. Although I am righting him going to school, I am not going to write him sitting all day. Instead of that, I am going to write parts where he goes on his breaks. As for his haircut, people are telling me to give him a Broly haircut. Well, just to let you all know, he needs it to be cut short to pass as normal. So if you have problems imagining his hairstyle, picture Future Gohan during the Cell Saga.

Anyways, with that, let's get started.

Chapter 10

It was August 11th when school started at Happy Harbor High. Ever student who arrived there was either tired, bored or frustrated at the fact that they have to go back to school. Every one of them wished for summer to last longer so that they can't attend school. But once summer is over, it is back to studies. But not everyone feels the same way. In front of the school were Miss Martian, Superboy and Kid Flash with their stuff ready. Since Superboy and Kid Flash had to wear their civilian clothes, Miss Martian had to use her powers to change her green skin to Caucasian to hide her Martian Form.

Excited, Miss Martian said "I can't believe summer is over."

Kid Flash whined and said "I didn't want it to be over! There were so many things I missed out!"

Superboy looks at him and said "The only reason why you missed them is because we were saving the world. Now come on before we are late."

Before they were going to take a step, Miss Martian looks around and said "Hey, where's Raizen?"

Out of nowhere, Raizen's voice said "Back here."

When they turned around, Raizen's voice was being projected from behind the tree. The Saiyan then said "This was a mistake. There is no way I am going like…this!"

"Oh come on," Kid Flash said, "Suck up your pride and get over here."

As Raizen took a deep breath, he walks out of the tree and was soon near them. He was wearing his dark blue shirt, blue Levi pants with a black belt and black shoes that Miss Martian and the others got him. He was also carrying a black backpack and had his class schedule in his right hand. But the main difference was his hair! Since his hair was way too long to pass as normal, by some miracle, Raizen gave in and decided to cut his hair. Now it is short to pass as normal while some of his hair was hanging in front of him.

Raizen's cheeks were red and said "If my family and friends saw me in this state they will not shut up about it for years."

"Relax," Superboy said, "Just remember what we said and you will be okay."

Raizen huffed and said "I am a warrior, Su…I mean, Conner. I am prepared for anything."

All of a sudden, a voice said in a cheery way "Hello there!"

In surprise, Raizen jumped a little bit and said "Son of a bitch!"

When Raizen turns around, he sees a young blonde hair girl wearing a yellow shirt with the words 'Happy Harbor High' on the front, Levi pants and white slippers.

The blonde girl then said "Hi, I am Grace. I am from the Welcome Committee and am here to greet every student. Are you new here?"

Raizen nodded and said "I am. My name is Ra…"

Miss Martian then said in their telepathic link "Raizen, remember your fake name."

Understanding, Raizen said "My name is Jaden. Jaden McKnight."

"Well, Jaden," Grace said, "Welcome to Happy Harbor High. There is going to be a welcome back assembly at 2nd period."

She then looks at Miss Martian and said "Good to see you again, Megan."

With that, Grace walked away. At that moment, Kid Flash walks up to Raizen and teased "How's that for being prepared?"

Raizen looks at Kid Flash and said "Shut up."

When Raizen opens up his schedule, he looks at the classes he is taking: Pre-Calculus, Advance Physics, American History, Moderate English, PE and lastly Economics. Looking over, Raizen said "So how do I find the rooms to take these subjects?"

Miss Martian replied "I can help you find the rooms. They should have the map of the school in the main office. Come on, I'll show you where it is."

She then turns to Kid Flash and Superboy and said "I will see you guys later."

When the two of them nodded, Miss Martian led Raizen to the office. On their way, Raizen thought to himself "This is going to be a long day."

It was already lunch when Raizen and the others meet up again. Once they got their trays of food, they found an empty table and sat on it. Raizen couldn't believe the serving of food he got and said "I am starving here and all they serve me is this much? It's not enough to satisfy my hunger."

Kid Flash then said "Welcome to my world."

"So…Jaden," Miss Martian said, "How are your classes?"

Raizen looks at her and said "They are boring as hell. Sitting there while time flies by and listen to a middle age person talk about the subject is suffering enough. Honestly, how do you put up with this?"

Superboy replied "We just deal with it."

Raizen rubs his eyes and said "And I have to go through an entire year of this?"

"Relax," Miss Martian said, "So far, you are doing great in keeping your powers hidden."

Raizen looks at her and said "Easy for you to say. You know how easily provoked I get. And from what I can tell, these people are itching for a fight."

"Tell me about it," Superboy said, "The one you may want to look out for is a guy name Jackson. He is supposedly the school bully and just picks on people. That guy is always looking for trouble."

When Raizen finished his tray, he said "I can't believe that I am still hungry. This sucks."

Miss Martian and the others laughed and Miss Martian said "Don't worry, when we get back to the base, I'll cook us something. I was thinking…"

"Hey!" a female voice said, "Give that back!"

When the four young heroes look over, they saw a tall muscular brown haired Caucasian boy holding what looks like a notebook and was waving it over a young red haired girl trying to reach for it. When Miss Martian, Kid Flash and Superboy sigh in anger, Raizen saw this and said "You know that guy?"

Superboy replied "That's Jackson."

When Raizen looks back, Jackson was still holding the notebook and said "What's the matter? Can't get it?"

The girl replied "I need that for science! Give it back!"

Jackson smiled and said "If you go out with me, then yeah."

Miss Martian gave off a disgusted look and said "I can't believe that he went from jerk to asshole in one summer."

"You gotta feel bad for the girl though," Kid Flash said, "Jaden, what do you…"

When he looks at Raizen, Kid Flash saw that he was gone.

"What the?" Kid Flash said, "Where did he go?"

"AAAAHHHH!"

When Kid Flash looks back at Jackson, his eyes widen. He saw Raizen grabbing Jackson's right wrist which had the notebook, twists it and brings Jackson to his knees. When Raizen got the notebook from Jackson's hand, he said in a demanded way "Picking on people smaller and weaker than you? For once, why don't you pick on someone your own size?"

When he pushed Jackson's wrist out of the way, Jackson quickly got up and said "What? You think you scare me?"

Raizen smirked and said "Well…I did manage to get you on your knees. Trust me when I say 'You are not that tough'."

"Oh yeah?" Jackson said, "What makes you say that?"

"For one thing," Raizen said, "You are picking on girls. To me, you are not that manly."

With that, Jackson raised his right hand, balls his fist and punches Raizen across the face. But Raizen just stood there, took it head on and just smirked. As the students around him were wondering why he wasn't knocked out, they saw Jackson gritting in pain as he was holding his right hand.

"What's the matter?" Raizen teased, "Not man enough to take the pain?"

Jackson gave him a furious look and said "I am not done with you."

After he said that, Jackson turns around and left the cafeteria. Once he was gone, Raizen turns to the girl, hands her the notebook and said "Here you go."

"Thanks," the girl said, "That guy was a creep. Glad you took care of him. Hope to see you around."

The girl then turns and walks away. Making his way back to the table, Raizen sits down with the others and they gave him a serious look. Raizen then said "What?"

Miss Martian said "That wasn't nice."

"Really?" Raizen said, "All I did was just get the notebook and gave it to the girl. He hit me, not my fault that he is weak."

"But still," Superboy said, "You could at least pretend you got hurt from the hit."

Raizen said "You said not to use my po…"

"Shh!" Kid Flash said, "Dude, we are supposed to under the radar. You want the whole school to know who we are?"

Raizen shook his head and said "What I am trying to say is I didn't use my…abilities to beat this Jackson."

The three of them rolled their eyes and Miss Martian said "Just stay out of trouble, okay? The last thing we need is everyone discovering who we are."

After she said that, the school bell started to ring. Kid Flash got up, stretched his arms and said "4th period, just great."

Raizen then got his schedule, looks at it and said "4th period…I have physics."

"Alright then," Miss Martian said, "Remember to…"

"I know, I know," Raizen said as he made his way to his classroom.

When the day ended, Raizen reunited with Miss Martian, Superboy and Kid Flash in the front of the school. Once he regrouped with them, Miss Martian said "So, how was your first day in school?"

Raizen gave them a disappointed look and said "You know, I don't say this often…but I wished that someone would kill me now."

Kid Flash laughed and said "Welcome to our life."

"Seriously," Raizen said, "How the hell do you all live through this? To think I was forced to cut my hair!"

Superboy then said "Trust us when we say you look like a mess with long hair."

As Raizen moaned, Miss Martian said "Relax. Someday you will like it here."

When Raizen rolled his eyes, a voice behind them said "Megan!"

Once the four of them turned, they saw two figures walking towards them. One of them was Miss Martian's friend who goes by the name of Karen Beecher while walking next to her was her boyfriend who went by the name of Mal Duncan. When Karen was near them, Miss Martian walks up to her and gives her a sisterly hug.

As the two of them departed, Karen said "How was your summer?"

Miss Martian replied "It went well. We all have a good summer."

When Mal was glancing at Superboy and Kid Flash, he looks at Raizen and said "Who are you?"

Raizen raised an eyebrow and said "I am Jade McKnight. I am new to the school."

"Jaden, huh," Mal said, "Never heard that name."

Karen looks at Jaden and said "New guy? Where are you from?"

Trying to think of something, Miss Martian said in their telepathic link "Say you are from…Michigan."

Raizen mentally agreed and said "Michigan."

"Nice," Karen said, "Hey, we are going to the Smoothie Bar right now. Wanna come?"

"Sure," Miss Martian said as she turns to the others, "Wanna come?"

Kid Flash then said "I can't. I have to meet up with my girl."

He then looks at Raizen and said "But the new guy is new around here. Maybe he should stick around for a while."

Raizen gave him a threatening look and whispered "I swear to god, when you least expected, I will break both your legs!"

Kid Flash looks at everyone and said "See you guys later."

With that, Kid Flash turns around and walks away. As Raizen grunted, Superboy then said "Come on, let's head out."

Once he said that, everyone made their way to Mal's car, which was a black Jeep. Grunting in frustration, Raizen thought "This is the worse day ever."

After a few minutes of driving, the gang finally arrived at the Smoothie Bar, where there were other students there. As everyone got off, they entered the bar and found an empty table to sit in. When Mal got everyone's order, except for Raizen, he went up to the register and started to order. Raizen looks around and said "This is what everyone does after school?"

Karen replied "Sometimes. But most of the time, they just head home."

She then said "So…Jaden, first time being in Happy Harbor?"

Raizen nodded and said "You can say that. And this is my first time going to an actual school."

"Really?" Karen said, "Home-schooled by your parents?"

Wanting to play the part of a heart-broken person who lost their family, Raizen put on a depressed look and said in a grieving tone "No…not exactly. My parents…died when I was 14. I was…home-schooled in every foster home I was in."

As Karen gasp at this, Miss Martian and Superboy were shocked to see Raizen acting this way. Miss Martian said in her telepathic link "Wow. Raizen is really good at portraying the dramatized victim."

Superboy then said "Give the guy an Oscar for best actor."

Karen interrupted them when she said "So where are you living at right now?"

Raizen replied "Well…since I am old enough to care for myself, I own my own place so long as I care for it."

At that moment, Mal walks up to them with their order and said "Here you go."

He then got a cup, hands it to Karen and said "And here is one strawberry-banana shake for you, beautiful."

As Karen 'awed' as she took the shake, Raizen looks at Miss Martian and Superboy, forms a gun using his hands and fingers, aims at his own head and pretends to pull the trigger as of saying to shoot himself. When they rolled their eyes, Mal looks at Raizen and said "You sure you don't want any?"

Raizen said "Not much fan of…whatever that is. I am more of a consumer than a drinker."

Mal then said "So what are your plans for high school? Hey, you look like you can be a football player and we are holding tryouts."

Raizen thought about it, but when he was about to say something, a familiar voice from across the bar said "Well, Well. Look who it is."

Recognizing the voice, when Raizen turned around, he saw Jackson standing in front of them. Superboy grunted and said "Get lost, Jackson."

"Shut it, Kent," Jackson said, "This is between me and him."

Raizen huffed and said "Did I do something to piss you off?"

Jackson said "You nearly humiliate me in front of the whole school, asshole. I am here to fix that."

Hearing this, Raizen silently laughed and said "Fix what? Your pride? If you want to fight me, then you are wasting your time."

"Why?" Jackson teased, "Scared?"

Raizen shook his head and said "Two reasons: I am better than you and you are not worth it."

He then got up and said "Now, if you all excuse me, I am going home."

When he made his way to the exit, Jackson rushed up to him and said in a provoked way "Hey asshole! I am not done with you!"

After he said that, he swings his right fist across the backside Raizen's head. Once he did that, Jackson's hand started to tremble and he wrapped his other hand around it. As Jackson gritted his teeth, he thought "What the hell?! His head is like a brick wall!"

At that moment, Raizen turns his head, gave Jackson a provoked look and said "I tried to reason with you, but clearly action speaks louder than words."

He then grabs Jackson by the collar and said "How about we take this outside?"

And with that, Raizen drags Jackson outside the Smoothie Bar and everyone who wasn't busy immediately rushed outside to see the fight that is about to occur. Superboy and Miss Martian were worried that Raizen will take it too far and fear the worse. So to be safe, Superboy and Miss Martian left the Smoothie Bar and made their way to the crowd that was surrounding Raizen and Jackson.

The moment Raizen lets go of Jackson, he said "Well? What are you waiting for? Try and knock me down, Jackass."

In rage, Jackson charged up to Raizen and swings a left fist. However, Raizen slightly moves his head to the side and allowed Jackson's fist to pass by. In a fast instant, Raizen grabs Jackson's left arm, spins his body and throws Jackson. Getting up from Raizen's action, Jackson began to throw countless punches at Raizen. But to everyone's surprise, except for Superboy and Miss Martian, Raizen was dodging Jackson's attacks with ease. When Jackson swings his right arm, Raizen held out his left arm and blocks the punch. Jackson then swings his right arm, but Raizen blocks it with his left arm. As Raizen pushes Jackson's arms away, Jackson tries to knee-kick him in the stomach. But Raizen blocks the kick, then pressed his left hand on Jackson's chest and pushes him to the floor.

Irritated that Raizen is not throwing any punches and at the same time making him look like an idiot, Jackson got up and then swings his right fist. Wanting to end this already, Raizen moves his left side of his body to the side and allowed Jackson to pass by. And in a swift instant, Raizen delivers a soft yet powerful jab into Jackson's face, causing his nose to break. Quickly grabbing his nose, Jackson held his nose as it was bleeding. Desperate what people will say, Jackson just fled the scene.

As everyone around Raizen started to cheer, Superboy and Miss Martian walked up to him and Superboy said "Really? Did you have to do that?"

"Yes," Raizen said, "Someone had to teach that punk a lesson. And be thankful that I barely used partial of my strength."

At that moment, Mal and Karen walked up to them and Mal said "You just embarrassed Jackson in front of everyone here."

He then smiled and said "Respect."

Karen said "And knowing the people here, I bet you that everyone will load this on youtube or facebook. I can't believe you just did that to Jackson."

Raizen shrugged and said "I did what I have to do."

He then turns his back and said "I am heading home."

Right before he was about to walk away, Karen said "Can we at least take you home?"

Raizen shook his head and said "I'll find a way. See you all tomorrow."

With that, Raizen walks away. As he was walking away, Miss Martian said in their telepathic link "So you are going to keep on coming to school then?"

Raizen replied "Do I have any other choice?"

"Point taken," Superboy said.

Once he was out of sight from everyone, Raizen started to float in mid-air and made his way to Mount Justice. Once he entered through the hanger bay and made his way to his room, he encountered Donna and Black Canary talking to each other. When the two female heroes saw Raizen, Canary was the first to say "How was your first day in school?"

As Raizen was walking, he replied "Kill me now."

With that, he left out of sight. As Donna raised an eyebrow, Canary said "He'll be fine. That is how everyone in school feels like."

Donna let out a sigh and said "Thank Hera that I am not part of it."

What do you think? I know that he has to keep his powers on the low-profile, but I had to make him humiliate Jackson. And in case you don't know who Karen and Mal are, Karen becomes Bumblebee in the Second Season and Mal is her boyfriend, who towards the end becomes Guardian. And that wraps it up.

And just to let you all know, I am going on summer vacation, so I am not going to upload any chapters for a while. Now and then I would, but not every week. But don't worry, when the fall comes, I will have more chapters. Until then, have a fun summer all of you!
