I have return! Time for another chapter! Time for the Injustice League (Spoilers) to return…and with a new Allay!

Chapter 17

An armored truck was driving down an unnamed highway carrying a dangerous weapon as its cargo. As it was driving down the highway, plants started to grow in the middle of the road and stringed to life. Just then, the plants started to wrap themselves around the truck and started to move it to the right side. After a few shakes, two guards were forced out of the truck. When they got up and saw the scene, they were about to take action until something landed in front of them and exploded. Green gas started to appear and cause the guards to cough. All of a sudden, the guards started to laugh hysterically and they dropped to the floor. Once the gas cleared, the plant lowered the truck to the ground on its wheel. Out of nowhere, figures started to make their way to the back of the truck.

When they opened it, one of them let out a crazed laugh and said "Time for a big show!"

In Mount Justice's training room, Donna was throwing punch after punch at Raizen, but with no luck, she hasn't landed a single blow. Even though Raizen was holding back on his strength, he made it difficult for Donna so that she can improve in her strength. Using his arms to deflect Donna's attacks, Raizen had made it more difficult for Donna to land a blow.

Raizen teased her by saying "Come on, you have to try better."

Donna, who was already sweating, said "I almost had you a few times."

The Saiyan smirked and said "Apparently it wasn't good enough."

"Alright," Donna said, "Let's see if you try…this!"

Suddenly, she got her lasso and she threw it at Raizen. However, Raizen caught the lasso with his right hand and he pulled it. Still holding onto the lasso, Donna was then pulled towards Raizen by the sudden turn of events. Once she was in range, Raizen grabs Donna by the throat with his left hand, turns around and they both fell to the ground with Raizen pinning her. Carefully not trying to choke her, Raizen kept a firm hold on Donna as she was grasping for air.

Spreading her arms out, Donna said in a tired way "Not fair."

Raizen smiled and said "Your enemy isn't going to be fair."

Knowing she is tired, as Raizen loosens his grip, Donna felt this and she threw her right arm towards him. Unexpected by this sudden action, Raizen was turned over until he was on his back while Donna straddled him. Placing her arms on his shoulders, she said while smirking "Got you."

Smiling back, Raizen grabs her arms and said "Not yet."

With that, Raizen quickly turns over until Donna was on her back while Raizen was on top of her. Pinning her arms, Donna was trying to break free, but couldn't due to Raizen's strength. Donna sighed and said "Damn."

Raizen chuckled and said "Better luck next time."

When the two of them were about to get up, their eyes met. As Donna was lost in Raizen's dark eyes, Raizen himself was lost in Donna's blue eyes. There moment together was cut short when they heard a cough. Looking up, the saw Wonder Woman, with her arms crossed, looking at them in a suspicious way.

She then said "It appears to two of you are having fun."

As Raizen and Donna look back at each other and the position they were in, they blushed and quickly got up. Straightening himself, Raizen said "We did nothing! We were only training."

Wonder Woman raised an eyebrow and said "Training? Appears to me that you two were about to do something more to 'burn off' some energy."

Donna's face turned red and said "Sister! Why would you…"

Wonder Woman started to laugh a bit and said "I know you two aren't going to do something that. I was just teasing."

She then looks at Raizen and said "Besides, we don't want your 'fiancée' to find out about your relationship."

"Oh my god," Raizen whined, "You're never going to let that go, are you?"

Wonder Woman laughed and said "It's too hard not to ignore. Anyways, the reason why I am here is because there is a mission. The two of you are need."

When Donna and Raizen nodded, they made their way to the briefing room. Once they, they saw the rest of the Team there along with Batman. Once the two of them regrouped, Batman said "Glad you are here, we have an urgent matter at hand."

As a hologram keyboard appeared, Batman pressed some buttons until a picture of a device appeared. It was a sphere-like machine that has a radioactive sign on the side. Batman then said "About 4 hours ago, someone has stolen a nuclear bomb capable of destroy anything within a 5-mile radius. The security who were supposed to be guarding it were found dead like this."

When he brought up another picture, it showed two of the dead guards…with a smile on their face, showing off their teeth. Disgusted by this, Raizen said "Who would do this?"

Robin knew who it was and then "Batman, don't tell me…"

"There's more," Batman said, "Inspecting the truck that was holding the bomb, there were traces of plants on the wheel and rims of the car."

"Oh great," Kid Flash said, "That means…"

Batman finished his statement by saying "The Injustice League is behind this."

As everyone gasped, Raizen raised an eyebrow and said "Why would this Injustice League want a bomb?"

Aqualad looks at him and said "They can use it to hold a city ransom. If they don't meet their demands, then they can detonate it."

"Luckily," Batman said, "The bomb has a tracking device that will allow the League to find it. But in order to do that, we need the Injustice League distracted long enough to secure the bomb and deactivate it."

"Oh great," Artemis said, "Let me guess, you want us to play distraction while you find the bomb?"

Batman replied "Facing the Injustice League is far safer then deactivating a nuclear bomb."

Superboy then said "No problem. We faced them before and we can do it again."

Kid Flash said "Just hope I don't get a broken arm again. At least they are down a member since Count Vertigo is in Belle Reve."

There was a moment of silence when Batman said "Actually, they have a new member."

When the Team was about to ask, an image appeared. To everyone's surprise, it was Green Lantern's nemesis: Sinestro!

"Oh come on!" Kid Flash whined, "This guy!"

Miss Martian said "I heard about him, isn't he dangerous."

Rocket replied "No probs, we got this."

Batman said "I have a lock on their location. So prepare yourselves, you leave immediately."

When the Team nodded, they started to make their way to the Bio-Ship. Zatanna had a worried face and said "I heard about the Injustice League. They have a sorcerer name Wotan who is a master of spells."

Raizen looks at her and said "Point is?"

Zatanna looks back at him and said "And I am barely a novice. How can I go up against him?"

Raizen shrugged and said "You'll find a way. But can you all do me a favor?"

When the Team looks at him, he said "Save me the strongest one. I want a challenge."

"You want to fight Black Adam?" Superboy said, "Sorry, but he and I have a rematch."

Raizen shook his head and said "You just want to…"

"He has a point," Miss Martian said, "Conner has fought with Black Adam before and he can hold himself good. We need you to fight Sinestro. He almost has the same powers as Green Lantern and none of us has fought him before."

Catching on, Robin said "She's right. You're the only one who can fight him."

Raizen thought for a moment and said "If I manage to beat him with ease, can I then fight Black Adam?"

Kid Flash shrugged and said "Go for it, Raisin Bran."

Raizen gave him a death glare and said "I swear to god I will kill you."

Upon arriving to the location where the Injustice League is, which was in the swamp near New Orleans, Raizen leans back in his chair and said "Let's review who we are up against."

When Miss Martian nodded, she put up pictures of the Injustice League members: the Joker, Poison Ivy, Atomic Skull, Ultra-Humanite, Wotan, Black Adam and lastly Sinestro. Thinking over who gets to fight who, Raizen was coming up with a way to even out the odds. Since the Team consisted of 10 young heroes, the Injustice League consisted of 7 dangerous criminals.

Now knowing who fights who, Raizen said "So this is how we do it: obviously I am going to be the only to fight Sinestro, since I am highly trained. Robin and Artemis will face Joker since Robin is familiar with his fighting techniques and Artemis can hit him with long range attacks. Rocket and Aqualad will take on Atomic Skull since Rocket's shields can protect them against Skull's attacks. Zatanna and Miss Martian will face Wotan at the fact that Zatanna can use her magic while Miss Martian can back her up. Wonder Girl, you will face Poison Ivy alone since you can handle yourself. Kid Flash, you will face Ultra-Humanite since your speed can take him down in a flash. And lastly, Superboy with Black Adam."

He then looks at the Team and said "Any questions?"

Kid Flash raised his hand and said "Why do I get to fight the ape?"

"Two reasons," Raizen said, "Superboy hates monkeys and everyone called 'not it'."

As Kid Flash huffed, Robin said "We are nearing our destination. Just watch yourselves before…"

All of a sudden, the Bio-Ship was hit by an unknown force that sent it to the ground. Trying to gain control, Miss Martian had a firm grip on the controls and she safely landed the ship. Once they were safely landed, the Team got out and prepared themselves for anything. As they look around, they heard a homicidal laugh in the air. When they turn to towards the laugh, they saw their targets. All the members of the Injustice League were in front of them: Poison Ivy was standing on top of a monstrous Venus Flytrap, Ultra-Humanite was aiming his rifle at them, Black Adam had his arms crossed with a cocky smile, Atomic Skull's head was glowing, Wotan's hands were glowing, Joker was tossing a knife in the air, and lastly, Sinestro was floating in the air.

As the Team prepared themselves, Joker laughed and said "Looks like they send the kids to face us."

Sinestro smiles and said "This will be easy."

In their fighting stances, Raizen said "Remember your assignments! Take them out!"

With that, the Team split up and charged at each member of the Injustice League. As assigned, Robin and Artemis charged at Joker. Seeing the two young heroes charging at him, Joker pulled out two joker bombs and threw them at them. Evading from the bombs, Robin and Artemis jumps out of the way just as the bombs exploded. Robin then rushed up to Joker as he pulled out a staff. Joker saw this and pulled out his knives and started to block Robin's attack. Artemis then aims her arrows at Joker and fires them. Joker saw this and dodges them. Seeing an opening to attack, Robin swings his staff across Joker's face, sending the clown to the ground. Instead in pain, Joker just laughed as he pulled out a trigger. When he pushed the button, Robin heard a beep in him belt. When he looks down, he saw a Joker doll beeping. Realizing it's a bomb, Robin grabs it and threw it in the air. Artemis saw this, aims her arrow and fires it. When the arrow made contact with the Joker bomb, it exploded and purple gas emitted from it. Using his cape to cover himself from the gas, Robin was distracted as Joker rushed up to him and delivers a powerful uppercut. Right before Joker was about to stab Robin, Artemis aims her arrow and fires.

Elsewhere, Kid Flash was using his Superspeed to dodge Ultra-Humanite's rifle blasts. As Kid Flash dodges them, he mocks the gorilla that he missed. Irritated, Ultra-Humanite continues to fire his blast until, Kid Flash ran up to the gorilla and took his weapon. As Kid Flash cheered in success, Ultra-Humanite pulled out two pistols.

Kid Flash whined "Oh come on!"

After that, Ultra-Humanite fired his pistols.

Rocket had her shields up as Atomic Skull fired a blast of energy from his forehead. While Rocket was distracting him, Aqualad pulled out his Water Bearers and formed whips. He then jumps in mid-air and swings his whips at Atomic Skull. The villain saw this and moves out of the way. He aimed himself at Aqualad and fires a blast. Before Aqualad could move out of the way, a barrier appeared around Aqualad and protected him from the blast. When Atomic Skull looked back at Rocket, he saw that she was unprotected. Right before he was going to attack, Rocket lowered her barrier protecting Aqualad and he already formed hammers on both of them. Seeing this in the corner of his eye, when Atomic Skull looked back, he already saw Aqualad in the air ready to bring down his hammers.

Wotan cast a few fireball spells and hurled them at Zatanna and Miss Martian. They were having troubles trying to hit the sorcerer. As Zatanna cast various spells, Wotan put up a shield to protect himself. As he was distracted, Miss Martian levitated a few rocks at threw them at Wotan. He saw this and cast power energy spells to destroy them. Zatanna then started to chant and fired a lightning blast at Wotan. The sorcerer saw this and teleported out of the way. Looking around, Zatanna was trying to find him until Wotan appeared behind her with a sword at hand, ready to slash her.

Superboy was knocked to the ground by a powerful blow to the face. As he gets up, Black Adam grabs his shirt collar and he threw him towards nearby trees. After breaking a few, Superboy grabbed one of the broken trees and he threw it at Black Adam. But he then flew upwards evading the tree. But then, Superboy already leaped into the air and he swung his right fist across Adam's face. Gritting his teeth, Black Adam then swings his right fist towards Superboy's face and sends him crashing to the ground once again.

Donna was jumping, evading and dodging vines from the Venus Flytrap. Poison Ivy was just sitting on her plant while it did all the work. Having enough of this, Donna leap into the air, and while she did that, he grabs her lasso, threw it at Poison Ivy, and the moment she landed, Donna pulled her lasso, causing Poison Ivy to crash to the ground. Irritated by the young heroine, Poison Ivy flicked her wrists and vines emerged from the ground and wrapped themselves around Donna's legs. When she tries to pull her legs out, Donna looks up to see the Venus Flytrap ready to attack her.

In the skies, Sinestro was firing blast of his yellow energy at Raizen. But the Saiyan was easily dodging his blasts. When Raizen was near Sinestro, the Yellow Lantern summoned two swords and starts swinging them at Raizen. Wanting to try out a new technique he developed, Raizen's arms started to glow in yellow energy and, by some luck, manages to block Sinestro's sword attacks. As Sinestro keeps on swings his swords, Raizen merely blocks them with his energy-covered arms. Flying away from him, Sinestro made his swords disappear and fires a net at Raizen, hoping to trap him. But Raizen flies towards it, and somehow, manages to fly through it. Seeing that Raizen was flying towards his direction, Sinestro summons a barrier to hopefully protect himself. But when made contact, the force that Raizen had manages to break Sinestro's barrier and was now heading towards him. Wanting to end this, Sinestro waited until Raizen was in range. Once he was, Sinestro summons a giant hammer and swings it across Raizen's body. The impact sends Raizen towards the ground.

Dispersing his weapon, Sinestro saw as Raizen's body crashed to the ground. After smiling at his victory, it was short-lived when a ball of white light shot towards the sky. Seconds later, it exploded and left a ball of light in the sky. Just as Sinestro was wondering what just happen, something started to grow. In a matter of seconds, a giant ape appeared! As it roared, everyone looked at the giant ape.

Kid Flash laughed and said "Alright! Raisin Bran turned King Kong! Now they are toast!"

Raizen looks at Sinestro and said "Now you just pissed me off!"

As Raizen opened his mouth, a faint glow appeared inside his mouth. Seeing this, Sinestro reacted by putting up a barrier around him. Just as Sinestro was bracing himself, Raizen fired a blast of energy from his mouth towards Sinestro. The blast was so powerful, not only did it destroy the barrier, but also sends Sinestro crashing to the ground. The Injustice League saw this and they reacted. The only people who might be serious to handle this would be Black Adam, Poison Ivy, Wotan and Atomic Skull. As Poison Ivy uses her powers to wrap her plants around the giant's legs, Atomic Skull was shooting his beams, Wotan cast a few spell to damage Raizen's legs while Black Adam was hitting him from everywhere. Feeling the plants around his feet, Raizen lifts his legs to rip the plants from the ground. Seeing both Wotan and Atomic Skull using long range attacks, Raizen slams his fist towards the ground and sends the two villains flying. Flying on top of Raizen's head, Black Adam gripped his fur as tight as he can.

Seeing this, Aqualad turns to the Team and cried "Everyone, get back now!"

Following his orders, the Team ran as fast as they can away from Raizen. When they were out of range, Black Adam took a deep breath, looks towards the sky and yelled "SHAZAM!"

A blast of lightning came from the sky above and landed a clean hit to Raizen's head, causing a huge explosion. Smiling in victory, Black Adam was waiting for Raizen to fall to the ground. But to his surprised, when the cloud went away, Raizen was still standing…along with a furious expression on his face. When Black Adam was about to get out of the way, Raizen reached up and grabbed him with his left hand. As he brought Black Adam down to his face, Raizen said "You know, I am not going to lie, that actually hurt!"

He then swings his left hand downwards and sends Black Adam to the ground. Once he crash, Raizen stood over him and yelled "Allow me to return the favor!"

As Raizen opens his mouth, Donna was worried and said "Raizen stop! Don't do this! Calm down!"

But Raizen ignores her as he charges another blast. The Team was worried about Raizen's behavior. Was this what he meant by losing control when he was in his Great Ape Form! Raizen aimed his mouth towards Black Adam ready to fire when suddenly…

Slash!

Raizen was then frozen still as the glow inside his mouth faded. The Team wondered what just happen until there was a small tremble. Seconds later, Raizen let out a roar. But this roar didn't sound normal, it sounded more like he was in…pain? As Raizen looks back, his crimson eyes widen: his tail was severed from his body!

Raizen roared and cried "Who the hell cut off my tail?!"

"What?!" the Team yelled.

"Someone manages to not only hurt Raizen, but cut his tail?!" Superboy shouted in surprise.

"But who?!" Zatanna asked.

Looking around, Raizen was trying to find who cut his tail until he saw Sinestro holding onto a yellow-energy sword with a smile on his face. Raizen gritted his teeth and shouted "YOU ASSHOLE! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!"

With one last roar, Raizen's body began to shrink down until he returned to his normal form. The Team and the Injustice League were surprised at the turn of events. Especially the Team, since they knew Raizen's powers and how he is almost indestructible.

"What the hell?" Superboy said, "That guy can survive blasts, hard punches and everything else. And you're telling me that Sinestro manages to cut his tail?"

As Sinestro floated near Raizen, he smirked and said "How about that? I manage to turn you back."

But just then, Raizen looks up to Sinestro, with rage in his eyes, and shouted "YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE! YOU WILL PAY FOR THAT!"

Taken by surprise by Raizen's choice of words, Raizen's body exploded and was surrounded by yellow energy. In a fast pace, Raizen charged at Sinestro and started to deliver powerful punches to the Yellow Lantern. Unable to block his attacks, Sinestro stood helplessly as he took on Raizen's powerful punches. With a powerful right hook, Raizen sends Sinestro flying miles away from everyone else!

"Holy crap!" Kid Flash cried.

As the Injustice League stood there shocked, Raizen looks at them and said "What?! You want to fight me too?!"

The Joker looked at his left wrist and said in a frightened way "Oh…look at the time! I have got to return to Gotham. See you all later."

With that, the Joker made his escape. Wanting to escape, Poison Ivy allowed her Venus Flytrap to consume her while it disappeared into the ground. While that happen, Wotan used a teleportation spell and left the scene while Ultra-Humanite sprinted out of there. The only ones who were left were Atomic Skull and Black Adam. Instead of running, Black Adam cracked his knuckles and said "You're not tough. Let's see how you handle yourself against…"

He was unable to finish as Raizen charged towards him and delivers a powerful uppercut that sends him flying into the air. Raizen then flew towards Black Adam, and when he was near, he started to punch and kick him countless times. By that time, there were already bruising around Black Adam and a few broken bones. With one last attack, Raizen raised his hands, clutched them together and whacks Black Adam across his head, sending him flying to the ground, causing a huge earthquake. When the dust cleared, the Team gasped as they saw Black Adam beaten up and unconscious. When Raizen landed to the ground and saw Atomic Skull, the villain panicked and soon ran away. When Raizen was about to chase after him, his whole body became limp and fell to his knees.

Worried, the Team rushed up to him and Donna asked "Raizen, are you alright?"

Looking at Raizen's injury, Robin saw trails of blood coming out of his tail hole. Realizing what was going on, Robin said "He is loosing blood! We have got to get him some medical attention!"

At that moment, Raizen collapsed to the ground. Now worried, Donna and Superboy picked him up and started to make their way to the Bio-Ship. Hopefully, the League already found the bomb and deactivated it. If so, then they will need their help to help Raizen with his injury.

Oh crap! That's right people, someone manages to cut Raizen's tail! The explanation to that will appear in the next chapter. Until then, review please.
