Hello guys, I am back for more chapters. Sorry for the long wait, but I have been busy creating more stories. If interested, come check them out in my profile. I am planning on making a sneak peek of my new stories right now. It is called 'Fable IV: The Return of the Heroes'. It is my take on Fable IV and it is a crossover of Fable/Skyrim. As for the winning of the contest, I would like to give a shout out…. Justus80! And assuming you guys read the name of the chapter, I assume you know what game it is. And also Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham…seriously? You want me to put Raizen in a Lego DC game?! How the hell would that work? Anyways, the way I made Raizen go into the Injustice game is a bit…sketchy, but it is the only one I can come up with. Hope it works.

With that, let us begin!

Chapter 19

It has been two weeks after Raizen's injury and he is slowly recovering bit by bit. Just recent, he went on a recon mission with The Team, and by the looks of it, he was at full strength. Today is November 25, almost a month to Christmas. Raizen hopes that the information that Robin gets would be useful. Raizen would hate to see Donna's face if he finds out that her parents are dead. But he put those thoughts aside as he and the Team were on a current mission. An hour ago, Batman assigned the Team to Star Labs…again to protect it again. Just as the Team was thinking that it was an easy mission, things turned south…

Boom!

The Team, except for Raizen and Donna, was thrown back from the explosion. When they all look, they saw Metallo in his ultimate form. Who would have guessed that Metallo would make a second attempt on breaking into Star Labs again? As Metallo was walking towards them, Kid Flash sat up and said "I thought the League locked him up?"

Robin replied "He must have got out."

Once Metallo was near the Team, he laughed and said "What are you going to do now?"

Out of nowhere, Raizen flew into the air and punched Metallo in the face, sending the machine flying into the air. As the Team got up, Raizen looks at them and said "You guys alright?"

Miss Martian replied "We're fine."

Raizen looks around and said "Where's Donna?"

Artemis replied "From what I saw, she is still out there."

Raizen nodded and said "I will take on Metallo. Just sit there and rest."

With that, Raizen rush to where Metallo is. As soon as he got there, Raizen saw Donna punching Metallo in the stomach area. In a swift movement, Metallo swings his right arm and whacks Donna away from him. Before she was going to crash to the wall, Raizen intercepted her and saved her from crashing to the wall.

When Donna looks at him, Raizen smiled and said "We should do this more often."

As Donna blushed, Raizen lets her go and said "Shall we finish this?"

Donna nodded and said "We shall."

With that, the two of them charged at Metallo and delivered a powerful blow to Metallo that sends him flying away. As he crashed into another room, Metallo looks around to find something to upgrade. When he spotted a device near one of the tables: it looks like a small cannon with a red glow in the end. Deciding to merge it, Metallo reached out for it with his right hand and made it part of him. At that moment, Raizen and Donna entered the room. When they saw Metallo's new hardware, it was too late and Metallo aimed his cannon at them and fires it. In a fast reaction, Raizen pushed out of the way and took on the blast head on. Instead of blowing up, Raizen was engulfed in light that blinded the whole room. When the light died, Donna's gasped in horror. For when she looked back, Raizen was gone. As soon as Metallo was about to fire the cannon again, red beams appeared out of nowhere and severed Metallo's cannon arm. When Metallo looks back, he saw Superman standing in the doorway. Before he was going to attack, Batman appeared out of nowhere and threw a pulse charge. When the charged stick on Metallo's it unleashed an E.M.P throughout his body and fell forward unconscious.

When everything was settled, Donna got up and said "Batman! Raizen is gone!"

Batman looks at her and asked "What do you mean he's gone?"

Donna replied "One minute, Metallo merges that cannon to his arm, and the next thing I know, he fires it at Raizen and he is gone!"

Batman looks over at the severed arm and picks it up. After examining it, Batman said "It's not even a weapon."

Confused, Donna said "What do you mean?"

Batman looks at her and replied "In desperation, Metallo merged this device to him thinking it was some sort of weapon. But the truth is that this is a prototype that allows one to travel to different dimensions."

"So…Raizen is in another dimension?" Donna asked.

As Batman nodded, Superman said "If that's true, then where is he?"

Raizen landed hard on the ground. As he moan in frustration, he got up and said "That's it Metallo. I am going to kick your ass!"

But when his eyesight recovered, Raizen blinked in confusion. Instead of being in Star Labs, he was standing in the streets. Looking around, he saw tall buildings, it was nighttime, and from the looks of it, the streets were stripped of life. Curious, Raizen begins to look around. Walking down the streets, Raizen looks through each store and saw all the places empty. As he arrived at the center of the city, that is when Raizen got the biggest surprise. In the center was a giant statue of Superman in his heroic pose.

Now more confused, Raizen thought "Okay, what the hell is going on here? Why is there a statue of Superman?"

All of a sudden, five armor trucks started to drive towards his direction. When the trucks stopped, dozens of armored soldiers rushed out and started to surround him. Once they had their rifle pointed at him, one of them said "Freeze! In the name of the High Councilor, we are placing you under arrest!"

In surprise, Raizen yelled "What?! I just got here?! What am I being charged for?!"

The soldier replied "We won't ask again! Put your hands up in the air!"

Not wanting to take their order, Raizen said "Screw you!"

"He's resisting!" another soldier said, "Fire at will!"

After they said that, the soldiers fired their rifles at Raizen. As they were firing bullets at Raizen, the Saiyan just stood there and let the bullets hit him. Once the soldiers stopped firing, their eyes widen in horror as Raizen stood there unharmed.

Raizen then gave them a menacing look and said "My turn."

As he raised his right foot, his leg was covered in yellow energy. The moment he slammed his foot to the ground, he released a powerful shockwave that knocked the soldiers away from him. Once they were out of sight, Raizen smirked and said "Too easy."

He then walks up to one of the soldiers, picks them up and said "Alright, now tell me: Who is this High Councilor?"

Out of nowhere, a voice said "Let him go!"

When Raizen looks at the source of voice, his eyes widen. It was Hawk Woman, but she was wearing a different set of armor. Throwing the soldier to the ground, Raizen sighed in relief and said "Hawk Woman, am I glad to see you. Who are these soldiers and…"

However, instead of answering him, Hawk Woman got her mace and swings it across Raizen's face. Not expecting her to attack, Raizen took the mace to the face and sends him flying into the air and into a building. As the soldiers were getting up, Hawk Woman turns to them and said "Be sure to get some restraints on him and take him to Stryker Island."

"What if he wakes up, ma'am?" one of the soldiers asked.

Hawk Woman huffed and said "I knocked him out with my mace. He won't wake up any time soon."

But to her surprise, Raizen's voice cried "What the hell?!"

Shocked, when Hawk Woman looks back, she saw Raizen on his feet rubbing his chin. He looks at her and said "What the hell was that for?! What did I do to you?! I thought we were cool?!"

Lost for words, Hawk Woman said "That's impossible! My mace should have knocked you out!"

Cracking his neck, Raizen said "And now let me return the favor."

In a fast reflex, Raizen charged at Hawk Woman and delivered a powerful blow to the stomach. Gasping in pain, Hawk Woman drops her mace, wraps her arms around her stomach and falls to her knees. Raizen then said "I didn't have to do that, but you just…"

Gritting her teeth, Hawk Woman grabs her mace and swings it upwards. Now ready for the hit, Raizen jumps back just in time to miss the attack. Now on her feet, Hawk Woman said "You will pay for that! Surrender now in the name of the High Councilor!"

"What?" Raizen asked, "You too? Who is this guy?"

Instead of answering him, Hawk Woman flapped her wings and flew towards her. As Hawk Woman was swinging her mace, Raizen was dodging her attacks with ease. When she swung her mace, Raizen caught it from the handles and threw her away from her. Stopping herself from crashing, when Hawk Woman flapped her wings, she sends her feathers at him. As Raizen jumps into the air, he saw the feathers piercing the ground behind him. Surprised at her attack, when Raizen looks back, he saw her flying towards her. Gripping her mace, when she was in range, Raizen couldn't take any more of this. Raising his left hand, he fired a blast of yellow energy at her. When the blast made contact, she was sent flying to the ground. When Raizen landed, he walks towards her and saw her have burn marks on her.

Hawk Woman looks at him and asked "What…are you?"

Confused, Raizen said "Hawk Woman, it's me, Raizen."

Hawk Woman coughed and said "Who?"

Gritting his teeth, Raizen said "What do you mean?! I am part of The Team! How could you forget?!"

Before Hawk Woman could reply, a red blur ran past Raizen and near Hawk Woman. When Raizen saw the blur, he saw it was the Flash…but his uniform had armor plates on it. Flash then said to Hawk Woman "What's going on?"

Hawk Woman replied "It was him! He's the one who did this to me!"

As Flash looks at him, Raizen said "Oh come on! She attacked me first!"

Flash gave him a serious look and said "Listen, if you don't come with us, then we will take you by force."

Raizen couldn't believe it: first the soldiers, then Hawk Woman and now Flash?! What was going on here?!

"Okay," Raizen said, "I give up! I have no idea what's going on here?! Who the hell is this High Councilor?!"

Instead of relying, Flash used his Super Speed and runs up to Raizen. Seeing him, Raizen held out his arms and started to block Flash's punches. Surprise that there was someone faster than him, Flash continues his assault. But Raizen was faster and manages to continue to block Flash's punches. Getting up from Raizen's attack, Hawk Woman grips her mace and flew towards him. When his Scouter alerted Hawk Woman's presence, Raizen kicks Flash out of the way, and as Hawk Woman swung her mace, Raizen merely caught the mace with his bare hands. Hawk Woman was shocked at the fact that this person manages to block her mace head on without receiving broken bones from the impact. Her thoughts were interrupted when Raizen grips the mace and then kicks Hawk Woman in the stomach, which caused her to let go of her mace and flew towards one of the armored trucks. Once she was out of sight, Raizen threw to mace to the ground. Just as he saw more armor truck coming, another one drove in front of him and the door open. Raizen saw the person opening the door revealed to be none other than Harley Quinn.

"Hurry up," Harley Quinn said, "Get in!"

Raizen knew about the clown girl's reputation and said "No way, I know you. Why should I listen to you?"

Harley replied "Bats wanted me to find whoever was fighting the Regime. Lucky I found you. Now come on!"

"Bats?" Raizen asked, "You mean Batman? Why would he…"

He then looks off to see the armor truck coming and Hawk Woman and Flash getting up. Raizen then looks at Harley and said "If you backstab me, I'll kill you."

With that, Raizen got inside the armor truck and drove away from the scene. Once it was gone, the armor trucks arrived and more soldiers got out. As Hawk Woman and Flash got up to fight Raizen, he was gone.

Looking at Hawk Woman, Flash said "Think we should tell the High Councilor about this?"

Hawk Woman looks at him and replied "Make the call."

After minutes of driving, Raizen was still seated in the truck with Harley Quinn looking at him. Curious on who this person was, Harley Quinn asked "Who are you? Why does the Regime what you?"

Raizen looks at her and said "Didn't the Joker tell you about me? And what is this Regime?"

When Raizen mentioned the Joker, Harley said "Where have you been all these years? Don't you know?"

Before Raizen could say anything, Harley Quinn said "Mister J died years ago."

Surprised by this, Raizen asked "How did he die?"

Before Harley could say anything, the truck stopped. Knowing they had return to her base, Harley Quinn said "Yay! We're home!"

After opening the doors and Raizen walked out, he saw dozens of men with weapons in their hands. Looking around, Raizen prepared himself in case anyone tries to attack him. Lucky for him, no one tried to do that. As Raizen continues to walk with Harley Quinn, he saw a familiar face. In front of monitoring computer, the Batman was sitting while typing on the computer.

Harley walked up to Batman and said "Hey Batty-Poo! Look who I brought!"

When Batman looks around and saw Raizen, the Saiyan said "Batman, what is going on here? Why did Hawk Woman and Flash attack me?"

As Batman got up and looks at him, he simply said "Who are you?"

Shocked at this, Raizen said "You too?! What the hell is going on here?"

Batman looks at Harley and said "Where did you find him?"

Harley replied "When you told me to find that source of weird energy, I found him fighting Hawk Chick and Flashy and manage to beat them."

Curious, Batman looks at Raizen and said "And how did you manage to do that?"

"Hey!" Raizen said, "I will be the one asking the questions around here! I just got ambushed by a bunch of soldiers, then Hawk Woman, and afterwards the Flash! And now I see you working with Harley Quinn, the woman who has sided with the Joker, your nemesis! And who the hell it this High Councilor?!"

There was a moment of silence when Batman said "I see now. You're not from around here."

Raizen sighed and said "I thought we establish that…"

"You are from a different universe?" Batman asked.

"Yeah," Raizen asked, "I am, but you should know that."

Batman then looks at Harley and said "I need to speak with him alone."

Harley shrugged and left. Once they were alone, Batman turns to Raizen and said "You don't know where you are, do you?"

Before Raizen could reply, Batman said "Since I have never heard of you or seen you before, it is a safe guess that you are from a different universe."

Raizen then said "Where are you getting at this?"

Batman replied "I don't know how you got here, but the truth it, you are in an alternative timeline."

Confused, Raizen said "That's impossible. I just work up a few minutes ago after my fight with Metallo."

Curious, Batman said "You fought against Metallo? That's impossible, Metallo never had the tech to pull you here."

"Well," Raizen said, "Last I saw him, he was attacking Star Labs…again to get new equipment. Before I got here, he merged his arm with a small cannon. After he fired it and I took the hit, I woke up here."

Thinking about it, Batman said "I am assuming that the device he got must have allowed to travel through different alternative universes. But if that's true, then why haven't I heard of you."

"Wait, Wait, Wait," Raizen said, "You mean to tell me that I am in a different universe?"

"Alternative," Batman said, "You are still in the same planet, but events are different here than in your version."

"How so?" Raizen asked.

Batman replied "Has the Joker blown up Metropolis with a nuke and killed millions in the process?"

Eyes widen, Raizen cried in surprised "Holy crap! He did what?!"

"Judging by the expression on your face," Batman said, "I assume he didn't in your version."

"Where is he?" Raizen said, "I want to…"

"He's dead," Batman said, "He was killed by the High Councilor."

"And there you go again with the High Councilor," Raizen said, "Just who is he?"

Batman replied "He is the reason we are all in this mess."

Before Raizen could reply, Batman said "The Joker is responsible for making him kill his own wife and his unborn child."

As Raizen was shocked by this information, Batman continue by saying "However, the Joker planted a trigger device in the Councilor's wife's heart, and when her heart stopped, the trigger activated the nuke that was located in Metropolis, killing millions in the process. In rage, he tracked the Joker and killed him. I should know, I was there."

He then said "After that, he believed that this world should have the peace it deserves and punish those who broke the laws. So he created the One Earth Government and begun his reign of rule."

Getting over his shock, Raizen said "And Flash and Hawk Woman? How are they involved? Did the High Councilor do something to them? Like mind control?"

Batman shook his head and replied "No, they knew the powers the High Councilor had, and if anyone oppose to him, he will get rid of them. Some of the Justice League members joined his side while me and a handful of us fought against his tyranny. And just when things couldn't get any worse, he hires mercenaries like Bane, Catwoman and Killer Frost to join his side. Even Sinestro and his Corp. decided to join his government."

As Raizen grips his fists, he said "How long has this been happening?"

Batman replied "Five years. We have lost a lot of members: Captain Atom, Martian Manhunter, Green Arrow…"

"What about Wonder Woman?" Raizen asked, "Where is she?"

Batman sighed and said "Wonder Woman…is the High Councilor's second in command and mistress."

At that moment, Raizen punched a nearby table and it broke in half. To think that the woman who gave Raizen a chance to join them was the High Councilor's mistress sickens him. Raizen looks at him and said "What about the Team? Where's Miss Martian, Artemis, Kid Flash, Zatanna, Rocket, Robin, Aqualad, Superboy and…Wonder Girl?"

Batman stood quiet for a bit and said "Let's just say that out of the names you mentioned…Zatanna is the lucky one."

Hearing Batman say that, Raizen grips his hands and said "Where is he?"

Confused, when Batman was going to ask, Raizen said "Where is the High Councilor so that I can kill him."

Batman shook his head and said "You can't kill him."

"Why not?!" Raizen said, "He killed my friends, most of the Justice League has joined his reign of tyranny and he has put this world in hell! So tell me, Batman, why can't I kill him?! Who is he?!"

In a secured location…

As Flash and Hawk Woman carefully approached the High Councilor, who was hidden in the shadows, and they saw Wonder Woman in her Amazon armor by his side. When the two of them approached them, the High Councilor replied "Report."

Hawk Woman replied "Precisely an hour ago, there was a strange reading of unknown energy in New Metropolis. I sent a squad of soldiers to investigate, only to hear that they were under attack."

She then pulls out a device, pushes a button and an image of Raizen appeared before them. Hawk Woman then said "When I arrived at the scene, I saw this man attack my squad effortlessly. I knocked him out with my mace only to quickly recover from it and started to attack me."

Flash then said "And when I arrived, I saw him beating Hawk Woman with ease. When I tried to apprehend the suspect, he resisted. But the strange thing about it, when I used my Super Speed, he was faster than me."

As that got High Councilor's attention, Hawk Woman said "And when I attacked him with my mace, he manages to stop it with his bare hands. And after he knocked us out once more, he vanished."

Worried about what the High Councilor will do to them, when Wonder Woman looks at him, he said "Do we know who he is?"

Hawk Woman shook her head and replied "He is not recorded in the data. He did say his name was 'Raisin' or something."

Thinking over it, the High Councilor said "Very well, you are both dismissed."

As Hawk Woman and Flash bowed, they left the room. Wonder Woman looks at the High Councilor and said "What now?"

After a brief moment, the High Councilor replied "Whoever this person is, he is a wild card. Knowing Bruce, he might have gotten to him first."

He then huffed and said "No matter."

Worried, Wonder Woman said "But you heard them. He is strong enough to stop Hawk Woman's mace and fast enough to keep up with Flash. Who knows what else he can do."

The High Councilor shook his head and replied "That may be true. But he has no idea who he is up against."

As the High Councilor stepped out to the shadows, it revealed to be none other than Superman! The Man of Steel just smirked and said "After all, he's never faced someone like me."

I know some of you played the Injustice game, but for those who haven't…dun dun dun! For those wondering how the characters in the Injustice game looks like, just picture them the same way as in the game. And I know that this is a mini-arc and who Raizen is going to fight before he leave, but (spoilers) who is excited to see Raizen up against Regime Superman?! I know I am. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this chapter and I will return for more.
