This is what happened years ago. Let's say about 100 years ago. There was the panther tribe that was traveling thru the western lands. At the time Nikota, was only 5 years old. Her mother was still alive, and they lived happily in the tribe. Her mother had Nikota by accident. But that was never mentioned again. " Mama….Mama…Have you seen Kiana?" she asked, as Ami held her close. " Nikota sweetie, I asked you to stay in you're room. You shouldn't be out here right now…" she said, as a cat demon walked over. " Me lady a Inutaisho of the western lands is here to see you." she said, as Ami looked over at her. " Alright tell him to come to the throne room." she said, as she sent Nikota to her room. Nikota's ears went down, as she walked back towards her room. As she walked to her room she bumped into a boy about 8.

The boy looked at her, as she got up. " Watch where you're going half breed." he said, as Nikota glared at him. " You watch where you're going full demon!" she yelled, as she walked by; but was stopped when she felt a hand on her arm. She turned around, and looked into the boy's hazel eyes. " You have guts standing up to me…" he said, as Nikota shook a little from fear. She didn't trust this full demon. " Sesshomaru I've seen you already met your future mate." they heard, as a male who resembled Sesshomaru walked over along with Ami. " What are you talking about father? This half breed is my mate!?" he yelled, as Nikota looked at her mother. " Mom are you serious?" she asked, as Sesshomaru let her arm go. Ami sighed. " What Inutaisho has said is true sweetheart. This is why him, and his son Sesshomaru are here. They have come to see you, and set up your future plans." She said, as Nikota backed away from everyone. " No I won't mate with a full demon…it's bad enough others around here call me half breed or halfa, and laugh at me!" She yelled, as she ran off to her room.

Inutaisho sighed, as he shoved Sesshomaru a bit, and pointed. Sesshomaru sighed, as he walked ahead to find where Nikota ran off to. Sesshomaru grumbled under his breath the whole time. " Why is father making me do this?" he said, as he picked up Nikota's scent, and knocked on the door in front of him. " Go away I don't want to come out right now!" she screamed, as Sesshomaru picked the lock, and entered anyway. " Nikota…I…I wish to know you. If you will let me." Sesshomaru said, as Nikota looked over at him. " And why would you? You already called me a halfa, and half breed." she said, as she sniffled. Sesshomaru walked over, and sat down on the bed drawing her into his arms. " I am truly sorry for that; but what ever my father says goes. I'm sure you can find it in your heart to get to know me too?" he says, as Nikota looks up at him. " I guess you're right…I can get to know you…who knows maybe we will be perfect for each other." she said, as she snuggled against him.

Their parents watched from the doorway, as they smiled. " Looks like it will work after all. I know they are different breeds; but I do believe your daughter can change Sesshomaru heart Ami." Inutaisho said, as Ami nods her head. " I'm sure she will. I have faith in them both. I just don't know what Sesshomaru will do once the full moon rises." she said, as Inutaisho tilted his head. " What happens on that night?" he asks, as Ami sighs. " Nikota goes human for 2 days, and 3 nights." she said, as Inutaisho looks back into the room. " I'm sure they will be fine." he said, as he closed the door.

8 years have gone by, and Sesshomaru looks about 16 while Nikota looks 13. She was out in the fields training with Kiana when a pair of arms went around her. " If this isn't Sesshomaru I want you off of me right now." she said, as she looked up into a pair of hazel eyes. " Ok you're safe Sesshomaru." she said, as she heard him chuckle. " I already knew I was. Only a few more years, and then we can fully mate. I promise to be gentle." he said, as Nikota snuggled into him. " I'm sure you will Sesshomaru…" she said with a small blush to her face. Sesshomaru chuckled, as he kissed her lips softly. She kissed back; but then felt odd. " Sorry Sesshomaru. You will have to go now…" she said, as she went to a nearby cave and hid behind a huge rock. " Nikota what is the matter?" he asked, as he heard her whimpering inside. " I'm afraid to show you Sesshomaru…" she said, as he walks in, and stands by the rock she's hiding behind. " Show me." he said.

Nikota hesitated, as she saw the full moon behind Sesshomaru. She sighed, and walked out looking into his eyes. What Sesshomaru saw before him was a human girl with black hair, and brown eyes. " Nikota…you're a human right now? But why?" he asked, as she sighed. " It's the start of the full moon cycle. I stay human for 2 days, and 3 nights." she told him, as she looks at the ground. " I know full demons sometimes despise humans so if you want to be with someone else I under…" before she could finish her head was lifted up, and Sesshomaru's lips were on hers. Her eyes went big, as she closed them, and kissed him back. ' Sesshomaru…does this mean you don't mind seeing me like this?' she thought, as they un kissed. " Nikota…I don't want you hiding anything from me…is that clear?" Sesshomaru said, as Nikota nods her head, and held onto him. For the past 8 years Nikota had hidden this from Sesshomaru because she feared he wouldn't like her anymore; but now…It looks like he doesn't mind.

Sesshomaru picked her up, and carried her home while Kiana followed next to him. " Nikota…I still have no idea why our parents wanted us to be together…; but I really don't mind it after getting to know you…" Sesshomaru tells her, as they head back. " Same for me Sesshomaru…I'm still confused on it as well…; but hanging around you…I've started to open up to you…and love you more…" she said, as she leaned up, and kissed his cheek, as Sesshomaru blushed. " Sneaky move…" he said, as he stopped walking, and kissed her deeply as she kissed back, and wrapped her arms around his neck, and he lowered his hands on her body. He was getting a little turned on, as a low growl escaped his throat, and he let her go placing her down on the ground. " Sorry; but can you walk back yourself?" he asked, as Nikota frowned a little, and headed back, and Kiana mewed after her, and followed her back. Nikota wondered if she did anything wrong.

Sesshomaru took off panting, as he tried to keep it together. ' Dammit…I'm in heat again…I can't be near Nikota…not yet…I must find someone for tonight.' he thought, as he searched for another female demon to rape, and kill. This was his way of getting thru being in heat. He hated it; but he wasn't going to find a permanent mate yet even if his father wants him to take Nikota as his mate. He found a low level demoness, and took her. Nikota got back home, and bumped into Inutaisho. " Sorry I wasn't looking…" she said, as she looked up, and saw who she bumped into. " You ok Nikota?" he asked, as he saw she was in tears. " So you can tell it's me?" she asked, as Inutaisho wiped a tear from her face. " Yes I can…your scent is still the same. Where is Sesshomaru? Wasn't he with you?" he asked, as Nikota sighed. " He told me to come back on my own…he was acting weird…" she said, as Inutaisho looked in the direction she had just came from, and patted her head. " Don't worry I'll go find him ok." he said, and took off, as Ami came out, and hugged her. " I thought a demon got to you…" she said in worry, as Kiana ran over, and meowed at Nikota. " Don't worry Kiana, and Mother…I'm fine." she said, as they all walked inside.
