Surprise everyone! I am back with a new chapter! Now before we start, let me say that I am SO sorry for making you all wait for this story to update. Reason why is because I was slowly losing my inspiration for a long time. And now that I got it back, I can resume this story! But…sadly, as much as I hate to say it, but this story will be ending. I planned on making this story longer and the fight against Darkseid longer, but all good things must come to an end. After this chapter, there will be two more chapters left and then an Author's Final Words. So yeah, this story will come to an end.

Now, let us start the fight of Raizen vs. Darkseid!

Chapter 28

The Justice League and the Team were in the Watchtower waiting for Darkseid to make his attack. The Team have to admit it, they were a bit scared right now. They are about to face one of the most feared opponent the League has ever faced, even Superman had a lot of trouble fighting Darkseid. But they know what is at stake here and they will fight to their last breath. As everyone waited for Darkseid, Donna was standing near the window looking at the Earth. While looking at Earth, Donna didn't see or feel Wonder Woman approaching her.

Once Wonder Woman was near here, she said "Donna, are you alright?"

Donna shook her head and replied "No, I am not."

Wonder Woman places her hand on Donna's shoulders and asked "What is it?"

Donna sighed and said "It's Raizen. I don't know what happened to him. And he was badly injured after his attack on Darkseid."

Wonder Woman nodded and said "I know. But I hope that…"

All of a sudden, giant orange portal started to appear and a warship appeared. Wonder Woman saw this and said through the comm "Justice League, Darkseid has made his move!"

On the other end, Batman said "Copy that, we will send out the Javelins."

Wonder Woman nodded as she turns to Donna and said "Come sister, we have to go and prepare for battle."

Donna nodded as she made her way to the main hall. She prayed that they all survive this battle. However, the one thing that she was worried about was Raizen. She has no idea where he is or what happen to him. Either way, she pressed on and readied herself.

Darkseid was in his seat in the control room when his ship was heading towards Earth. He smiled at this and said "Once my ship lands, I will use the transportation device in my ship to summon my army with ease. Nothing will stop me now."

As his warship made it past the atmosphere, there was a huge explosion on the side of the ship that caused it to move towards the Nevada desert. Trying to regain control, Darkseid asked in a demanding way "What is going on?!"

One of the pilots replied "One of our engines were destroyed sir! We are going down!"

"Then gain control of this ship and land her!" Darkseid commanded.

The pilots nodded as they were controlling the ship to make an emergency landing. As soon as the ship was near the ground, it crashed into the ground as it rocked back and forth. Once it came to a stop, Darkseid gritted his teeth as he got off his seat and exited his warship. As he was floating around, he saw the left wing of his ship destroyed. Before anything else, there was a powerful blow delivered to his right side of his body and was sent to the ground. The blow wasn't powerful enough to hurt him, but it was enough to knock him to the ground. When he got up, he saw the Justice League along with the Team ready to fight.

Darkseid huffed and replied "Is that the best you can all do?"

Robin smirked and said "Come on then. Show us what you got!"

Darkseid chuckled as he raised his right hand and his army started to come out of the ship. Everyone lazily looks at Robin and Kid Flash asked "Really bro?"

As Robin playfully smirked, Darkseid's army already charged towards them. The Team and the Justice League all prepared themselves as the army charges at them. Once they were all near, everyone, at that moment, all went out. Robin and Batman were teaming up to take some of Darkseid's army. Using their gadgets and fighting skills, Batman and Robin knocked out a few of Darkseid's soldiers before continuing fighting.

Near them, Superman and Superboy were knocking down a lot of Darkseid's soldiers. Superman used his super breath to blow away any soldier that was in it's range. While he did that, Superboy used his super-strength to punch the soldiers away and, when he leaps into the air, he lands on the ground and created a shockwave that knocks down some soldiers. Superman then used his super-strength to punch some soldiers to the ground.

Flash and Kid Flash were using their super-speed to zip through the horde of Darkseid's soldiers and knocking them out. The two of them then used their speed to created a vortex and pulled nearby soldiers into the vortex. After a while, Kid Flash and Flash picked up the pace and knocked the soldiers away.

Wonder Woman and Donna were using their bracelets to deflect blasts from the soldiers' weapons. The two of them then used their Lasso of Truth and the Lasso of Persuasion to catch one enemy and spin them around. As they did that, the two of them knocked away as many enemies as they can before letting go of the soldier they had and threw them into a crowd of soldiers.

Aquaman and Aqualad both used the power of water to their advantage. Controlling the water, Aqualad created a path for Aquaman, which he used to travel on and used his triton to slice through the soldiers. Once Aquaman got off, Aqualad then used the water to cover the other soldiers and used his electricity to shock the soldiers and knock them unconscious.

In the air, Miss Martian and Martian Manhunter were levitating large object, like giant rock and hurled them at the soldiers. Martian Manhunter then phrase through the ground, and reappeared in front of a soldier, grabs them by the neck and threw them at a crowd of soldiers. Miss Martian then levitated a few more soldiers and threw them at the group of soldiers.

Rocket and Zatanna were teaming up with Green Arrow and Black Canary to fight more of the soldiers as the rest of the Justice League fought Darkseid's soldiers as well. Darkseid just stood on top of his ship as he saw the Justice League and their sidekicks fighting his army. But it was all useless, even if they manage to defeat his army, there was no guarantee that they will defeat him. With his new powers, he is unstoppable.

All of a sudden, there was a flash of white light that appeared behind him. Darkseid turned and saw what appeared behind him. He raised an eyebrow as he saw, the now recovered, Raizen. But he was now wearing a different set of clothes: he had white, loosely fitted pants, black boot, black wristband and a white sleeveless shirt with a black vest on it with golden edges.

Darkseid smirked and said "So…look who has arrived."

Raizen gave Darkseid a death glare and said "You have to stop this. Give up the powers you got from me."

Darkseid laughed and said "You can't expect me to simply give them up."

"But you have to," Raizen said.

"Make me, Saiyan," Darkseid said in a provoked way.

After he said that, Raizen flew towards Darkseid and threw punches at him. But Darkseid merely moved his arms and blocked Raizen's attacks. As Raizen continues to punch Darkseid, he then starts to kick Darkseid. But as before, Darkseid blocked his attacks. Having enough of this, Darkseid decides to attack back by throwing a powerful right hook. But to Darkseid's surprise, Raizen raised his left hand and caught it with his bare hands unharmed. Right before Darkseid could do anything, Raizen saw an opening and starts to punch him with his free hand across Darkseid's face. After punching Darkseid countless times, Raizen lets go of Darkseid's fist and delivers a powerful uppercut that sends Darkseid flying into the air. Just then, Raizen appeared in front of Darkseid and started to throw countless punches at Darkseid. As Darkseid manages to block a few of Raizen's attack, there were some punches that manage to land blows to Darkseid. Raizen then grip his hands together, raised them high and he then brought then downward, hitting Darkseid across his head. The force from Raizen's attack sends Darkseid to the ground.

When everyone felt the small tremor, everyone looks around and saw Darkseid on the ground. As they were about to ask what happened, they were surprised when they saw Raizen landing in front of Darkseid. In joy, Donna smiled and cheered "Raizen! You're okay!"

Raizen looks at her, smiled and nodded at her. Just then, Darkseid got up, snared at Raizen and said "You think you can beat me that easily? Fool, that didn't hurt."

Raizen gave him a death glare and said "Last chance, Darkseid. Give up now, before it is too late."

Darkseid shouted "You die first!"

He then raised his hands and fired a giant blast of energy at Raizen. Before anyone could warn him, Raizen already charged at the blast, swings his right leg upwards and, to everyone's surprise, manages to kick the ball of energy upwards towards the sky. Seconds later, the ball of energy exploded. Stunned, when Darkseid looks at him, Raizen was already in front of Darkseid and kicks him across the face, sending him flying away from everyone.

Raizen then looks back and asked "Is there a way to return Darkseid's ship back to his world?"

Batman then said "I can go into the controls and hack them. Then I can remote activate it so that the ship can return to Apokolips."

"Perfect!" Raizen said, "You go do that while I take on Darkseid!"

Confused, Batman asked "Why?"

"Just trust me!" Raizen said.

Just then Darkseid got up and rushed towards Raizen. However, Raizen prepared himself as Darkseid began his assault on Raizen. Hesitating, Batman gave in as he rushed into the ship. Wanting to help, Flash used his super-sped to grab Batman and help him get to the control room. As they did that, the rest of the Justice League and The Team just stood on the sidelines and watch the fight between Raizen and Darkseid. As Darkseid threw punches, Raizen manages to block all of his attacks with ease. Something wasn't right here. Darkseid took out this Saiyan with ease the first time he fought with him. Now? This Saiyan was blocking his attacks with ease. Why is that?

When Darkseid took a few steps back, he said "Something is different with you. What happen to you?"

Raizen smirked and said "I had help from a friend name Nella."

When Zatanna heard that name, her eyes widen and shouted "You saw her again?!"

Raizen nodded and said "And she gave me my reward for saving her."

Curious, Zatanna asked "What was your reward?"

Raizen then glared at Darkseid and said "The power to defeat Darkseid."

All of a sudden, the rocks that were on the ground began to float, the air was starting to get heavy and Raizen's hair was starting to rise up a bit. Curious about what Raizen's going to do, they all saw him as his whole body began to glow blue. All of a sudden, Raizen gritted his teeth as his hair flashed yellow for a bit, and with one shout, he release a blast of wave everywhere. Just then, the energy that surrounded Raizen turned yellow, his skin turned white, his eyes turned emerald green and his hair was spiky and turned golden yellow. Everyone, except for Darkseid, was awed by Raizen's new change.

Donna was the first to speak by saying "Oh…wow…"

Kid Flash then said "Talk about Golden Raisin Bran there."

However, Darkseid huffed and said "Pathetic. This transformation is nothing but a joke."

Darkseid's eyes then started to glow and shot his Omega Beams at Raizen. As everyone yelled at Raizen to get out of the way, Raizen did so by rushing to the right. However, Darkseid smirks at the Omega Beams made a right turn and followed Raizen. Continuing dodging them, Raizen quickly evades the Omega Beam, but it was always following him. Believing that he has Raizen, Darkseid's beam quickly closes in on him. However, just as Raizen was near in front of Darkseid, he smirks and, with a simple move, Raizen vanished into thin air. As everyone gasped in surprise and Darkseid's eyes widen as he took on his own Omega Beam to the chest! Just then, Raizen appeared near Darkseid, and with great speed, charged at Darkseid and began to attack Darkseid in different directions. From the Justice League and The Team view, all they saw was a yellow blur attacking Darkseid form everywhere. After his attack, Raizen appeared in front of Darkseid and, with his right arm charged with yellow energy, delivers a powerful uppercut to Darkseid's chin that sends him up into the air and then crashed to the ground.

When Darkseid got up, he roared as his whole body was covered in red energy and charged at Raizen. Once he was near, Darkseid delivered countless punches at Raizen, but the young Saiyan merely blocks Darkseid's attacks. As Darkseid saw an opening, he charged his right hand and fired a blast of red energy at Raizen. But Raizen quickly pushes Darkseid's hand upwards and sends the blast to the sky. Now open for an attack, Raizen ram his left shoulder at Darkseid and knocks him just a few feet away. Raizen then pushed his right hand forward and fired a blast of yellow energy at him. Darkseid then raised his right hand and fired a red blast of energy and stopped Raizen's attack. Using the dust as cover, Darkseid charged at Raizen and delivered a powerful right hook that sends Raizen into a giant boulder. As Raizen tries to get out, Darkseid was already in front of him and started to throw countless punches at Raizen. Witnessing Darkseid's brutality on Raizen, everyone gasped as Donna covered her mouth. Grinning, Darkseid said "Feel the wrath of Darkseid!"

And with one powerful punch, Darkseid released a blast of red energy that blasted Raizen through the boulder and caused him to crash into a heap of giant rocks. Darkseid huffed and said "Pathetic Saiyan. You think you can defeat me?"

He then raised his hands, created a giant ball of red energy and shouted "No one can defeat me! I am Darkseid!"

And with a heave, Darkseid threw the giant ball of energy at where Raizen is, and when it collided, it caused a huge explosion that caused everyone to cover their eyes. When the light from the blast dimmed, there was nothing by clouds of dust everywhere and a giant crater where Raizen once was. As the Justice League and The Team gasped in sadness, Darkseid chuckled and said "I am a god among insects."

All of a sudden, a voice within the smoke said "That is what you think, Darkseid."

Shocked, Darkseid and the others stood there as Raizen emerged from the crater unharmed. As Raizen rolled his arms, he said "Even gods can fall to their doom, Darkseid. As for me, I am more than a warrior now. Now…"

As he gave Darkseid a death glare, Raizen said "I'm a Legendary Super Saiyan."

When he said that, he leans forward and, with great speed, charged at Darkseid and delivers a powerful right hook to Darkseid's chin that sends him flying. As Darkseid tries to recover, it was too late as Raizen appeared behind him and kicks Darkseid into the air. Once Darkseid stopped himself, Raizen appeared a few feet away from him. In rage, Darkseid waves both his hands and fired two giant balls of red energy at Raizen. However, before the balls of energy collided, Raizen disappeared just in time for the balls to collide and explode. When Darkseid thought it was over, Raizen appeared in front of him, with his left fist covered in yellow energy, and delivers a powerful punch into Darkseid's stomach. Feeling extreme pain, Darkseid grunts as he covered his stomach with his arms and said "What?! How?!"

Raizen huffed and said "I'm a warrior, Darkseid. I never give up."

In a fast motion, Raizen grabs Darkseid's neck with his right hand and he threw him to the ground. And once Darkseid crashed to the ground, Raizen raised both his hands and shouted "Try to take this!"

Yellow energy then formed on Raizen's hands and then he fired a giant blast of energy at Darkseid. With no time to react, Darkseid just laid there as Raizen's attack made a destructive impact on Darkseid and caused a giant explosion. Everyone once again covered their eyes as Raizen's blast blinded them a bit. Once Raizen's attack was finished, everyone regained their eyesight and saw a giant crater with Darkseid in it. As everyone was awed of what Raizen did, they all saw Raizen landing in front of them. When he stood up, he took a deep breath and his appearance returned to normal.

When he turns around to face everyone, he smiles and said "Hey guys, was I late?"

At that moment, everyone cheered at The Team rushed towards him and gave him a group hug. Once they finish giving Raizen their hugs, Donna rushed up to him and gave him a kiss on the lips. While that happened, Batman and Flash appeared from Darkseid's ship and saw the destruction around. Batman then asked "What happened here?"

Superman turns to him, smiled and said "He did it. Raizen beat Darkseid."

Eyes widen, Batman said "Really? But…why would he want me to remote activate…"

"I am not finished!"

When everyone heard that voice, they all looked towards the crater and saw Darkseid crawling out of it. To their added surprise, they saw cracks all over Darkseid's body! Once he was on his feet, Darkseid shouted "You think you can defeat me?! I am a god! Nothing can stop me!"

However, Raizen shook his head and said "It is already too late for you."

Darkseid gritted his teeth and before he was about to make an attack, he gasped in pain as he place his right hand over his chest. As everyone was confused by this, Raizen said "See, interesting fact about Saiyan DNA is that it has a unique gene that it is considered dangerous to other species if one obtains it."

Just then, Darkseid gasped in pain more as the cracks on his skin began to lightly glow. Raizen then said "You see, Darkseid, you aren't the first person who tried to use Saiyan DNA. Many of our enemies tried, and some succeeded, to get our DNA. And when they did, they tried to clone us and tried to make an army of Saiyans for their armies. Even some tried to fuse themselves with Saiyan DNA. And the results are always the same."

As the cracks on Darkseid began to glow brighter, that is when everyone started notice this. Raizen continues by saying "You see, the only TRUE way to obtain Saiyan powers is through natural birth, it has to be through our heritage bloodline. If someone tampers with our DNA and tries to fuse it with a person or makes clones, well…"

He then motions his hand at Darkseid and said "They become unstable."

Curious, Batman asked "What will happen now?"

Raizen replied "Now…Darkseid will explode and the blast will destroy half the planet."

"WHAT?!" everyone shouted.

"Hey," Raizen said, "I warned him."

"But you should have mentioned that before!" Robin shouted, "And now Darkseid will destroy half our planet!"

"Good!" Darkseid shouted, "If I die, then I will destroy this planet!"

"I don't think so," Raizen said as he turns to Batman, "Everything ready?"

Now knowing what Raizen's plan is, Batman smirks, nodded and said "Be quick."

Raizen nodded as he charged at Darkseid, grabs him by the neck and flies into the air. As Raizen flew towards the ship and floated above it, he looks at Darkseid and said "I warned you about this, Darkseid. And now, you will face the consequences. Farwell."

After he said that, Raizen lets go of Darkseid and he fell on top of the ship. Once that happened, Raizen shouted "Batman, now!"

Nodding, Batman summoned his hologram keyboard on right gauntlet, pressed a button and a portal appeared in front of Darkseid's ship. The force from the portal was pulling the ship in along with Darkseid. Unable to move, Darkseid roared as his body was ready to explode. Seconds before Darkseid's body exploded, the ship along with Darkseid was completely sucked into the portal and the portal itself disappeared into thin air. Raizen huffed and said "Good riddance."

Down below, Raizen heard cheering, and when he looks down, he saw the Justice League and The Team cheering. Their most powerful foe was finally defeated, and this time, gone for good. As Raizen smiled, he saw Donna flying towards him and gives him a bone-crushing hug. Even though it was painful, Raizen smiled and hugs her back. After they finished hugging, Donna looks into his eyes and said "I'm glad you're okay. I thought I lost you."

Raizen chuckled and said "Believe me Donna, it will take more than that to kill me."

Donna smiled as she kissed him on the lips. After the two finished, Donna said "What now, hero?"

Raizen chuckled a bit before giving her a sad look and said "Now…Now there is one thing to do."

Seeing his face, Donna grew worried and said "What around you talking about?"

Raizen then looks straight into her eyes and said "It's time…to tell you all the truth about the Saiyans."

And cut! I hope you all like this chapter. I bet you all were wondering the same thing with Darkseid fused himself with Saiyan DNA, right? Look at that third Broly movie, some people tried to create a Saiyan clone yet it got so messed up, it got beaten by Goten, Trunks, Andriod 18 and Krillian. But that whole self-destruction and destroying half the planet was my idea, but it works. Anyways, the next chapter…well, you all know what the next chapter will be.
