If Tsuna seemed happy to see her, Gokudera's eyes widened in shock. He didn't know she was going to be there.

"I-Ira-san" He was speechless. She smiled towards him and he blushed. He gulped when he remembered how simple she looked when they first met and how much she has grown over the years. She really looked like a lady.

On the other side, Ira smiled softly at the two men. Tsuna was taller and seemed to have matured a lot in both looks and mentality. He also seemed different; his eyes weren't the same pure brown eyes that Ira met when she first came to Namimori. Even though the eyes were the same, the glint was closer to what mafia meant: confidence no matter the costs.

Of course, once her eyes landed on Gokudera, she couldn't help but see the same old silver haired, innocent guy. He was blushing profoundly, standing in the same place, fidgeting, while Tsuna already walked in the living room.

Vongola Decimo hugged his friend warmly. For Tsuna, Ira was the only person who understood what being tutored by Reborn felt like. She had been through everything he had, pain and happiness brought together from one single man.

It was later that night when they decided to sleep there, in the memory of old times, and move in the Vongola residence the next day. Tsuna learned a lot from his trip to the future and all those adventures he went through with the Arcobalenos; moreover, he learned where would be the best place to build the residence and how exactly to plan the escape routes and all the details.

"I heard about Ren," Tsuna mumbled, taking Ira by surprise.

Most of the girls already fell asleep while the men were silently talking; except Ryohei who was snoring in the corner, next to Hana. Gokudera was sitting on the couch in a certain position so he could sneak glances at Ira, Yamamoto standing in front of him in a very strategic way –though he didn't know why he had to stay like that exactly. Lambo was watching the silver haired man like he was a drama.

"Aren't you worried?" Tsuna asked Ira, who was struggling to keep a positive attitude towards that problem.

"I'm not. He is a smart man, Tsuna. Besides, you two are the same age and have loyal guardians who will support you no matter what."

Truthfully, Irene was the oldest child of the Dubois family and she was supposed to inherit the business but her father changed his mind. After what happened when she was ten years old, Reborn got involved and became more than her tutor; he became her guardian. The Italian hitman talked to her parents and she moved to Italy for her own protection. For Reborn, she was more of an investment that evolved in time and became a weapon. Irene Dubois became Ira, a weapon that only Reborn knew how to control. Ren was the next best choice, as the second son of the Dubois family and he inherited it all; that also included the unfinished businesses and scandals between his father and other mafia groups or clans in France.

"He has Paul and the rest of the guardians. They're smart and know father's businesses better than anyone in the family." She continued, glancing at Gokudera when she mentioned Paul.

Those two were alike from many points of views, mostly their attitude; strong willed, loyal and a lady killer; mafia men indeed. Paul was French and had a different set of values when it was coming to his personal life but she was sure Gokudera would make a good rival in everything mafia related for Paul. She had to introduce them to each other.

"What about you? Aren't you disappointed?" Tsuna's question amused Ira. She looked at him and laughed softly.

"Being a mafia leader is not exactly what I want to do in life. I was lucky that my parents pushed me away from this world." Tsuna raised an eyebrow and stared at her. Her eyes, those green orbs, weren't the eyes of an innocent woman. "We may have the same experience with Reborn but my life doesn't have anything to do with mafia. I am only a friend, getting involved when the situation requires but that is not the world I want to live in permanently." She continued.

"Somehow, I don't believe you." Tsuna admitted making her chuckle.

Ira was not outside mafia zone and Hibari was the first to notice when they fought. However, just because she had good reflexes and a mind trained for urgencies and high leveled missions, she never interfered in any fights. She was still safe, as Colonello said it before. She was still outside warzone and it was all thanks to Reborn, who pulled her out of her family.

Tsuna fell asleep an hour later while Gokudera and Yamamoto got called in for some little business regarding the Vongola. She walked them to the door and patted them softly, for encouragement. Yamamoto chuckled when he noticed how much Gokudera was blushing.

"Shut up, idiot. You're not a kid anymore," The right-hand man mumbled before he hit Yamamoto in the ribs lightly. The Japanese man only shrugged it off and opened the door to leave.

"Take care," Ira said softly, making the two men nod before they left.

"You're still bad with encouragements." She heard the familiar voice of an old friend and instantly turned her head to the kitchen.

"Reborn," She whispered, still not believing they got to meet after so long.

Since none were going to sleep, Ira made coffee and sat in front of her former guardian. She couldn't help but feel nervous under his intense gaze. Reborn wasn't a baby anymore after they succeeded to break the Arcobaleno curse; no, he was the same man she met when she was a child, with a mesmerizing aura and charms that would flatter any woman.

"You ran away," The hitman started firmly. He wasn't beating around the bush, but going straight into business without the smallest amount of remorse. "Why did you run away, Ira? Colonello's been worried," Reborn continued, striking her emotional chord.

Ira bit her lip and looked down at her mug, feeling like a child all over again. Reborn was staring at her bluntly with his dark eyes, knowing exactly what she was doing and why.

"I know. I had to leave," She responded in a small voice.

"You were safe in Italy," He continued. Ira nodded and sighed heavily, feeling even worse than before. "He's not going to find you and even if he does, you're not a child anymore. I took care of that myself," He finished, his tone getting lower.

"That wasn't why I left in the first place," She was a bit offended by the way he was scolding her. Ira wasn't a child, like he said, and she knew what was best for her.

Reborn raised an eyebrow and leaned over the table, a smirk gracing his lips. She looked at him and scoffed when she realized what he was doing; he was looking down on her emotional skills.

"Then, was it Fon?" He asked wit that cocky attitude, knowing the answer already.

She narrowed her eyes at her former guardian and crossed her arms in front of her chest. He was being annoying and acting like a big brother, which he definitely wasn't. He never acted like family to her; if anything, it felt like he was her master, training her to become the best slave. He got her in a lot of trouble with everyone and he never helped her. She got kidnapped, tortured and almost raped and she was sure Reborn ordered most of those.

"What if it was Fon?" She asked sarcastically. It didn't seem to affect the hitman.

"You should learn how to show emotions, Ira. Even if you don't feel them, you have to show something so people won't read you."

Even after seven years, he was still ordering her like a master. If she would show genuine emotions, he would scold her; if not, he would scold her again. Nothing was good for the perfect home tutor hitman Reborn.

"Screw you," she spit while glaring at the older man. Reborn only chuckled and leaned back in his chair.

"Where are you living now?" He asked with that superior attitude of his, knowing the answer yet wanting to hear it from his victim's mouth.

"University, in Tokyo." She responded coldly. That wasn't what Reborn was aiming for, though.

"With who?" He could see her eyebrow starting to twitch in annoyance and he couldn't help but feel content. She was an easy target to fool, just like Tsuna. Reborn has been really good at training the young Vongola Decimo because he he had already trained Dubois Dixième. The two were stubborn and lazy but they turned out to be his masterpieces.

"Alone. I live al-" She got interrupted by Reborn snickering. "I hate you." She admitted, making him feel more amused than before.

"I know."

That answer summed everything up. He knew everything that was going on at the moment with his students and was planning something to make their lives harder just so they will learn something new; he was that kind of person.
