At the end of the story Robin sacrifices herself to kill Grima. She succeeds but dies with them. As she fades away she tells Chrom she loves him and that they meet again in a better life. But when she wakes up in that field again she sees a very familiar scene and soon realizes that she hadn’t faded and come back months or years later. No she’s in the past back where she began.

It's hard, starting a new relationship. Harder still when you're the King of Almyra and Leader of Fódlan. Byleth's used to working alone, used to the simplicities of a mercenary's life. And Claude doesn't know how to let his walls down, how to stop planning and scheming and preparing. Perhaps a vacation can help with that.
