The Vagaries of Companionship

You may have to rescue me
From limestone quarries frequently
Your navigation skills are poor
We never know what's out the door.
There's trouble everywhere we go
I wonder: "does the TARDIS know?"
It seems that every other trip
We're hiding on an alien ship
Or fleeing evil robots' chase
As tourism it's a disgrace.
But, never mind all that, I say
I'll do an encore any day.
For while we only seem to run
Away from baddies: it's such FUN!

First two lines have been shamelessly stolen from the Half Man Half Biscuit song: Them's The Vagaries, and refer more to Classic Who than the modern version.
