I don't own Naruto, just the OCs in this story.

Please review, it would mean a lot plus I would like to know your thought about the story.

Sorry there is not that much development yet, I would just like to say that who the main character ends up will depend on you guys. But I would probably do alternate endings.

"Hey Gaara, it's been three days, are you not worried about your friends?"

"I'm positive that they can handle themselves."

That's what he says. He's been fidgeting in his seat for the last hour or so. It's a weekend and I don't usually spend my weekends holed up in the apartment but we're kind of on the lookout for stray ninjas. I showed Gaara a physical copy of the first volume of Naruto but he can't see anything but blank pages. He not seeing anything actually makes perfect sense, I would freakout if I knew that my life was written in pen and paper.

"Did you just feel that Aria?"

"Feel wha—is there an earthquake?"

No, I looked out the window and saw people doing normal stuff, it's like the only place that's shaking is this room. I quickly hid under the table and closed my eyes until the shaking stopped. Well, I was forced to close my eyes because of a sudden bright light.

When I opened them I saw two girls with their backs on me. Well at least I think their girls since one, they have long hair, one has hair longer than mine and two, they're wearing dresses, or at least I think they are dresses. I'm getting more and more confused nowadays.

"So Gaara, your back-ups are girls – WOAH!"

I had a shuriken pass by me; it would have hit my face had it been like a centimetre closer. It was deeply embedded on the wall behind me, that girl must have great accuracy and force.

"Chill, I'm not your enemy. I promise I won't take Gaara from you. You two are pretty tall for girls huh."

"Aria, I think you should stop talking."

"Why, I'm about your age and I won't judge even if you two girlfriends. Why won't they face me Gaara?"

Then they turned towards me and oh shit. I think I screwed up, big time.

"Meet Uchiha Sasuke and Hyuga Neji."

"Well this is awkward. Oh shoot did I just say that out loud? Hey there, look I didn't reallymeanwhatIjustsaid. I'm leaving Gaara, you figure things out."

"Stop there. Who do you think you are to just go unpunished after insulting jounins. I am technically the head of the Uchiha clan, I deserve respect."

I knew it. Nothing good ever comes out with wearing a poncho.

"Hey you poncho wearing freak I'll give respect to whoever I deem deserves it. I even insulted a kazekage. You're a clan head, you must be pretty smart but reality check, you're in a different world now, princess."

"Princess? Why, I have never been insulted like that in my life. Hyuga, discipline this girl."

"Uchiha we are in a different world. I think it would be our best interest to find a way back first."

"At least someone has some sense in his head. Neji right? I'm Aria, what took you guys so long? Gaara here has been waiting for like three days."

"Three days, we came here 15 minutes after Gaara."

I looked at Gaara and I could literally hear the gears in his brain working while the princess over there still hasn't stopped glaring at me. I don't think I'm going out any time soon now. I grabbed my phone to call a delivery for dinner, I'm pretty sure Gaara's sick of eating pizza and burgers but I've been eating that for like a month now, pretty sure he'll survive.

"Aria-san, where are we?"

"Oh you're in apartment 203, now pizza or burger?"

Neji's POV

"Neji, Sasuke remember, come back here as fast as you can hopefully with Gaara. If there's too much danger just send a signal."

"Yes Shikamaru, I'll also take care of Uchiha. I'll make sure he won't be a victim to anything this time."

"Hyuga, I'm stronger now, I can take care of myself."

"We'll see about that."

"Guys, stop fighting. Go inside right now, if Kiba's nose is right, you'll encounter a kunoichi maybe. Be on guard."

The fact that we haven't been able to feel Gaara's chakra ever since he entered the cave is unsettling. We've been on missions considerably more dangerous than these but we're dealing with the unknown. Plus, I'm with the Uchiha, I never had the best relations with him.

"Hey Hyuga, come on."

"We really need to do something about your clothes."

I eyed the new guys' clothes and suddenly wondered if the word fashion even makes any sense in their world. They can wear some of Gaara's clothes in the meantime, maybe until the next batch of ninjas comes the trip to the mall will have to wait. I don't really trust online shopping. Trust me, they'll find a way to mess up your order.

"Everybody in our clan wears things like this." Neji said. I decided to call them by their first name since I don't really get the honorifics, it's amazing we even speak the same language.

"Oh yeah? Well then everybody in your clan is a fashion terrorist, no offense."

Neji doesn't seem like the guy to get offended easily but still, I basically insulted his whole clan so I maybe pushing it a bit too much. My mouth has taken me into countless trouble before and it still hasn't learned its lesson.

I ended up just ordering Hawaiian pizza and the pizza delivery guy was a bit surprised when Neji was the one who opened the door. He eyed Neji's clothes and I said that we're having a Halloween party. Even if it's not due for another few months.

"Okay guys, I'm going to show you a book, tell me if you can read something from it, okay?"

I quickly passed the Naruto volume to them and saw the quickly flip through it.

"It's blank, all white pages." Sasuke said, I called him princess for the last hour and actually saw his eyes change colours. Watching it is pretty intimidating.

"I expected that much, anyway I figured you would like to talk with Gaara alone so I'll excuse myself, Gaara knows where my room is and just knock if you need something. There are two double beds on Gaara's room, you can stay there but I doubt that you'll sleep tonight."

I walked into my room and opened my laptop. When I moved into this place I wasn't prepared for this ride. Neji briefly said that another three was coming. If three days here is about 5 minutes there, then a day is equivalent to 5 minutes. Nobody would even notice that they're missing! Thaat is if I'm right about the time conversion.

I opened their Wikipedia pages and read what I could. They could be here for months and almost nothing will change in their world.

I need to bring them back, asap. I know a lady who looks like she had one too many drugs and tells everybody that she's a fortune teller. I think she's on crack but it's worth a shot. If this was a movie, then they must have some special mission to do over here.

Tomorrow's a Sunday, I think that would be enough time to visit the crack lady.

Gaara's POV

"So Gaara, what have you learned?"

"We're definitely in another world. The technology here is nothing like in ours and as far as I know there are no special abilities here like ours. I can still use my sand like always but I don't use it in public. Aria's not a threat, that much I know but when we went to a place called "mall" random people would show her respect. She's been more than welcoming the past few days."

"Please, who would respect that kind of girl. She's short and the have you seen the way she talks? She's impossible."

"Uchiha, you know very well there's nothing wrong with her height. It would be shameful if you're shorter than her. She's a very lovely girl, maybe the problem is with you."

I watched Neji and Sasuke argue but there's still one more thing I noticed. I subtly saw Neji use his Byakugan earlier, I'm pretty sure he saw something.

"Neji what did you see?"

They stopped talking and Neji immediately knew what I mean.

"Are you sure that she's not a threat Gaara?"

"Yes, why?"

"Well, you said that there's no powers here so automatically that would mean they have no use for chakra. Aria has a pretty big chakra storage. Bigger than some ninjas we know, the channels are blocked but they could easily be undone."

"I can't see the chakra flow like you do but maybe everybody here has a chakra storage that's just not used." Sasuke added. That's plausible.

"The guy who delivered our food has no chakra storage, it's still too early to decide on anything." Neji answered. Aria doesn't seem like a girl to hide secrets.

We discussed things until it was almost dawn, we didn't notice the time pass by. Time definitely is a huge factor in this problem. If things remain constant Shikamaru and the others would be here in another three days.

We should've known to expect the unexpected. I was about to show them the rooms when I faintly feel the shaking of the floor. It was followed by a bright light and there stands before us are three remaining members of the team, kunais drawn and ready with a battle stance.

Time really isn't a constant thing.

I was getting ready for bed when I heard my phone ring, I looked and it was from my brother. Why on earth would he be calling at this hour, well why on earth would he be calling me at all? I don't really talk to my brother that much, he recently graduated from college and is now learning the ropes in the company.

"What is it?" I answered the call.

"Well hello to you too, baby sister."

"What do you want Allen?"

"Hey! Why do you always think that I want something whenever I call you?"

Did he really just ask me that? I suddenly feel scared for the future of dad's company, Allen definitely has a lot to work with.

"I haven't heard from you in months and now you call in the middle of the night? You're not fooling anyone Allen."

"Seriously, where did my cute baby sister go? I'm just reminding you about the company party Monday night. Dad wants the family to be there, or at least what's left of the family. Bring friends, at least you'll have people to pass time with, we all know how boring these events are."

Now I feel bad for Allen. He never missed these events because as the heir, he needs to meet "acquaintances." At least that's what dad says, some of these parties are concealed matchmaking events, I turned down every invitation after that.

"Why do I have to go now? I haven't been in one for years."

"You turned 18 Aria. You didn't even throw a party, so dad wants this event to be the one where you'll be officially presented as an heiress to the shareholders. Dress appropriately, wait scratch that. I'll send someone there to dress you up, bring a date will you."

"Okay Allen, it's not like I'll come to the party wearing jeans."

"I won't be surprised if you did that."

"Shut up."

And with that I hung up the phone. I don't doubt that the person he'll send is Frankie. Frankie will definitely be invited to the party too.

Will Gaara and the others attend the party? I guess I have to explain what the party is all about first. I haven't even bring up the facts about my family. Tomorrow is going to be a long day.
