I have revised this chapter. It felt too short and I really wanted to emphasise their relationship more. I hope you enjoy the revised editions; it's only chapters 1-5 that are getting a revamp.

A young woman paused at the gates to the Malfoy Manor she was returning after four years of being gone exploring the world. She took a deep sigh, the raven on her shoulder rubbing his beak against her cheek, cawing softly as if to reassure her. She chuckled, reaching up and scratching his head. Looking over to the only companion she had taken with her, a graduation present from a certain obsidian eyed Professor. She entered the Malfoy manor dragging a small suitcase behind her, setting her raven on the suitcase she looked around smiling to herself. She took in the sounds around her trying to pinpoint where her father was.

There was a wonderful smell coming from the kitchen. She left her luggage and small bird by the entryway and went towards the smell. Aelladora was surprised to see her father cooking so she walked up behind him ducking under his elbow to see what he was making.

"Hi papa." She looked up at a startled Lucius Malfoy who stopped what he was doing and wrapped the young woman in a hug.

"Aelladora, you've returned! I've missed you little pup." He gushed over his oldest. When a younger, almost miniature version of himself came running into the kitchen and hid behind her.

"Draco, you've grown since I last saw you." Aella said to her little brother while chuckling, as her aunt came running into the kitchen being chased by Aella's raven.

"What set this bird off?!" Narcissa yelled, before stopping as if she had seen a ghost looking at Aella. "Hello little dove, I would say you took after your mother in a lot of ways except those silver blue eyes of your father."

Aella smiled whistling to the startled raven, he flew over to her shoulder and began to use his beak to fix the ruffled feathers of his wings. She flinched a little as his grip on her bare shoulder tightened slightly.

"I'm gonna head up to the library. I need to send a letter after that I'll be in the garden if anyone needs me." She ducked out of the room grabbing her suitcase and making her way to the library, her skirt shifting as she walked.

Once there she sat at her usual spot in the window and smoothed out her skirt as she sat down looking at her raven, "Feel like another flight to him Vísindi?" The raven looked up at her and cawed softly, sticking his leg out as if knowing.

She wrote a quick letter knowing the man was one for short and to the point as he had been with all their letters for the last four years.

Dear Severus,

I've returned safely. Everyone is so happy to see me. I'm not sure how to deal with all the attention after spending so long with you as my only correspondence with the outside world. Have you thought about my application for an apprenticeship? I'll be in the gardens for most of the summer if you ever want to stop by.

Yours,

AB

She reread it to make sure it sounded good then folded it and stuck it to Vísindi's outstretched foot. "Be careful, you know where I'll be." She whispered before giving the black bird a kiss on the head and letting him out the window. She sighed pulling her knees to her chest watching her companion soar into the setting sun.

Aella walked out into her gardens looking at the beautiful flowers and grabbing some seedling pots she started planting some of the seeds for the rare plants she had collected on her journey. She heard the distinct sound of apparition before feeling his hands wrap around her bare midriff, she tried to calm her racing heart before sighing and laying her head back onto his shoulder. "I've missed you." She whispered, almost as if she refused to believe he was here and it was just a dream or a trick of her imagination.

"I got your letter and figured it would be better to respond to it in person. Besides, I've missed you too." His deep baritone voice sent shivers down her spine every time she heard it. "As for the last question I will need some more time. I have to figure out how to get it past that old man, so he will sign off on it." he whispered in her ear, smirking in delight watching the younger woman squirm in his hands. He decided to tease her just a bit by rubbing his thumb just under the band of her black crop top, the other hand danced across her skin almost like a feather playing with the waistband of her skirt.

She let out a soft moan, leaning into his touch. He left a trail of soft kisses from the shell of her ear to her collarbone as she tilted her head the other way. Her breaths short and shallow, a bead of sweat ran down her cheek trying to keep from grinding her hips into his.

He grinned, nipping her collarbone before twirling her around and staring into her silver eyes. "I suppose I must be off before Lucius realises I'm here. I hear one more whine of how Draco is getting beat in scores by a muggleborn, I might just crucio myself." He chuckled at her pout from being left in the middle of the fun he started. Reaching out with his slender fingers he cupped her chin, "There will be time for that later I promise. Think of me tonight when you relieve the tension?" He whispered seductively in her ear before disapparating on the spot leaving her hot and bothered.

Aella growled in frustration before returning to her gardening annoyed more by the sound of knocking that could be heard. She jolted awake looking around quickly and realised it was just that a dream. She slammed a fist onto her bed, swearing before noticing Vísindi on his perch, a letter attached to his foot.

Throughout the summer they continued to write to each other for the rest of the summer. She spent time with her father until he would inevitably bring up the prospect of marriage and then she would disappear where no one could find her. Then in August she finally got her answer to the burning question.

Mornings at the Malfoy manor were very informal. A young woman around the age of 20 walked into the dining room and sat at the table. She was wearing a thin-strapped, emerald green tank top with silver shorts. Barely awake, she smiled at the small house-elf who appeared to her.

"Good morning. Dobby, may I request a cup of coffee and my usual breakfast?" She asked the little nervous elf.

"Y-yes, ma'am, right away." he snapped his fingers and disappeared.

"My dear, you shouldn't treat him so kindly. He'll come to expect it." A man with long platinum blond hair down to the middle of his shoulder blades walked in. He wore a grey t-shirt with black dress pants. He kissed her on the top of her very uncontrollable black mass of curls.

"But papa, he's an adorable little elf." She lifted her steel-grey eyes to meet her father's, the only physical trait she inherited from him. Dobby popped in seconds later with her breakfast and coffee. "Thank you, Dobby."

"Anything for you, Mistress Aelladora." Dobby bowed and disappeared.

Aelladora sighed. "I wish momma was here."

"My dear, as much as I wish you could grow up with your mother, I think it is better this way. She could be cruel sometimes, and I fear it would affect your mental state as well. She would want you to be like her, and I love your personality the way it is."

"Yes, father. I'm going to get ready. We are going to have to go to Diagon Alley. I need to pick up the last of my supplies for my apprenticeship with Severus, and Draco should be receiving his owl for his school supplies." Aelladora kissed her father on the cheek and walked upstairs to get changed.

Aella ran upstairs, turned a corner, and ran into her room right next to Draco's. She went straight to her wardrobe. Picking out a dark green dress with black lace sleeves, her black leather jacket, and her favourite thigh-high black boots. Aella sat down at her mirror after getting dressed and putting on very light makeup since her eyes were grey, almost silver Aella created her signature smokey eye that stopped all the Slytherin boys. She decided to curl her long black hair.

As Aelladora was walking out of her room, she could hear her brother whining once again about the "Granger Mudblood" like he had all summer.

"Draco! No one cares about your girlfriend." Aella screamed, finally having heard enough of his spoiled whining.

"She's not my Girlfriend! She's a filthy little Mudblood, that's all." Draco's cheeks flushed.

"Whatever, stop. Papa did our letters arrive." Aella smiled at Lucius, who had stopped drinking his coffee as the two siblings had started arguing.

"Yes, dear, they did. Draco, here's yours. You will be accompanying me to Nocturne Alley while your sister gets what she needs to start her apprenticeship." Lucius handed each of them a letter. Aella grabbed hers and went to the living room.

Aelladora had achieved ten outstanding N.E.W.T's. One for each of the core classes and one for Arithmancy, Alchemy, and Study of Ancient Runes. She also received an Exceeds Expectations in Care of Magical Creatures. She felt pretty confident in Severus's letter that she had been accepted as his protègè.

Aella opened her letter carefully and read what was written.

Dear Aella,

I am pleased to inform you that I decided you would be perfect as my apprentice after reading all the applications. Please remember to gather all the supplies listed below at Diagon Alley before August 24th, as I will need you at Hogwarts to start going over your apprenticeship.

Yours truly,

SS,

Potions Master at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

P.S. I will be at Diagon Alley today. Would you care to join me for lunch?

Aella walked swiftly to the dining room. She was excited. "Papa, I have to be at Hogwarts on the 24th. Severus wants me there early to go over the details of my apprenticeship."

"Then I suggest we best get a move on. Draco, hurry up." Lucius walked off to put some better clothes on and grab something.

Mr. Malfoy crossed the shop, looking lazily at the items on display, and rang a bell on the counter before turning to his son and saying, "Touch nothing, Draco."

Draco, who had reached for the glass eye, said, "I thought you were going to buy me a present."

"I said I would buy you a racing broom," said his father, drumming his fingers on the counter.

"What's the good of that if I'm not on the House team?" said Draco, looking sulky and bad-tempered. "Harry Potter got a Nimbus Two Thousand last year. Special permission from Dumbledore so he could play for Gryffindor. He's not even that good, it's just because he's famous . . . famous for having a stupid scar on his forehead. . . ." he bent down to examine a shelf full of skulls. ". . . everyone thinks he's so smart, wonderful Potter with his scar and his broomstick —"

"You have told me this at least a dozen times already," said Mr. Malfoy, with a quelling look at his son. "And I would remind you that it is not — prudent — to appear less than fond of Harry Potter, not when most of our kind regard him as the hero who made the Dark Lord disappear — ah, Mr. Borgin." A stooping man had appeared behind the counter, smoothing his greasy hair back from his face.

"Mr. Malfoy, what a pleasure to see you again," said Mr. Borgin in a voice as oily as his hair.

"Delighted — and young Master Malfoy, too — charmed. How may I be of assistance? I must show you, just in today, and very reasonably priced —"

"I'm not buying today, Mr. Borgin, but selling," said Mr. Malfoy.

"Selling?" The smile faded slightly from Mr. Borgin's face.

"You have heard, of course, that the Ministry is conducting more raids," said Mr. Malfoy, taking a roll of parchment from his inside pocket and unravelling it for Mr. Borgin to read. "I have a few — ah — items at home that might embarrass me if the Ministry were to call. . . ."

Mr. Borgin fixed a pair of pince-nez to his nose and looked down the list. "The Ministry wouldn't presume to trouble you, sir, surely?"

Mr. Malfoy's lip curled. "I have not been visited yet. The name Malfoy still commands a certain respect, yet the Ministry grows ever more meddlesome. There are rumours about a new Muggle Protection Act — no doubt that flea-bitten, Muggle-loving fool Arthur Weasley is behind it —"

"— and as you see, certain of these poisons might make it appear —"

"I understand, sir, of course," said Mr. Borgin. "Let me see . . ."

"Can I have that?" interrupted Draco, pointing at the withered hand on its cushion.

"Ah, the Hand of Glory!" said Mr. Borgin, abandoning Mr. Malfoy's list and scurrying over to Draco. "Insert a candle and it gives light only to the holder! Best friend of thieves and plunderers! Your son has fine taste, sir." "I hope my son will amount to more than a thief or a plunderer, Borgin," said Mr. Malfoy coldly, and Mr. Borgin said quickly, "No offence, sir, no offence meant —"

"Though if his grades don't pick up," said Mr. Malfoy, more coldly still, "that may indeed be all he is fit for —"

"It's not my fault," retorted Draco. "The teachers all have favourites, that Hermione Granger —"

"I would have thought you'd be ashamed that a girl from no wizard family beats you in every exam," snapped Mr. Malfoy.

"It's the same all over," said Mr. Borgin, in his oily voice. "Wizard blood is counting for less everywhere —"

"Not with me," said Mr. Malfoy, his long nostrils flaring.

"No, sir, nor with me, sir," said Mr. Borgin, with a deep bow.

"In that case, perhaps we can return to my list," said Mr. Malfoy shortly. "I am in something of a hurry, Borgin, I have important business elsewhere today —"

"Done," said Mr. Malfoy at the counter. "Come, Draco —"

Aelladora walked around like she owned the place, she was a Black, and the name still held power. She was of the Sacred 28 on both sides of her family. She looked up to see a tall man with a familiar sweeping black cloak stride by her towards the apothecary. Aella followed him, he turned his head slightly to acknowledge her. He simply nodded while raising an eyebrow. She smirked but followed silently holding his letter in her hand. Yes, she did have feelings for the tall brooding man. Though she would wait for him to make the first move like in her dreams that repeated all summer.

The man held the door open for her as she walked through and she tilted her head thanking him.

"Aelladora, I am going to assume that you are here for the list I sent you?" the man spoke.

"Yes, Professor. Papa took Draco to gather his second-year supplies as well." Aella spoke politely.

The professor chuckled, "I suppose as my Apprentice and after four years of friendship you may call me Severus in public. You are 20 after all. Did you get my note at the end?"

Aella felt her cheeks burn slightly. "Of course I did and I would love to join you for lunch, Severus." she almost stumbled over her words. Looking away from him, she went over her list, conversed with the shop owner, and arranged for everything to be delivered to her room at the castle.

Finally, after what seemed like forever, silvery-grey eyes met obsidian and she smiled gently. "Shall we go see what trouble my brother and father are causing Severus?"

Severus smirked knowing what kind of trouble his best friend and godson could cause. "Yes, let's." he offered her his arm which she took and they walked in companionable silence. It wasn't an awkward silence where neither knew what to say but a comfortable one where they were content with each other's company that no words were needed. That is until they stumbled across Draco taunting a jet-black-haired boy with a lightning scar and emerald green eyes.

"Bet you loved that, didn't you, Potter ?" Draco Malfoy, who was wearing his usual sneer. "Famous Harry Potter," said Draco. "Can't even go into a bookshop without making the front page."

"Leave him alone, he didn't want all that!" said a red-haired girl. She was glaring at Malfoy.

"Potter, you've got yourself a girlfriend!" Drawled Malfoy. The girl went scarlet as a younger red-haired male and a bushy-haired female; they both looked about Draco's age. Fought their way over each clutching a stack of books.

"Oh, it's you," said the boy, looking at Malfoy as if he were something unpleasant on the sole of his shoe. "Bet you're surprised to see Harry here, eh?"

"Not as surprised as I am to see you in a shop, Weasley," retorted Malfoy. "I suppose your parents will go hungry for a month to pay for all those." Weasley went as red as the younger girl. He dropped his books into the cauldron, too, and started toward Draco, but the bushy-haired girl and the scarred boy grabbed the back of his jacket.

"Ron!" said an older red-haired man, struggling over with a pair of twins. "What are you doing? It's too crowded here, let's go outside."

"Well, well, well — Arthur Weasley." It was Lucius. He stood with his hand on Draco's shoulder, sneering in just the same way.

"Lucius," said Mr. Weasley, nodding coldly.

"Busy time at the Ministry, I hear," said Lucius. "All those raids . . . I hope they're paying you overtime?"

Severus rolled his eyes and grinned at Aelladora's rage-filled steely grey eyes; she was not impressed with either of the Malfoy males.

Aelladora stalked over to her father and brother smacking each upside the head.

"Geez sis, what was that for?" Draco cried out.

"Ow, Aella why?" Lucius scowled, rubbing his head though he couldn't help but see a resemblance to Bellatrix, her mother in this instant. Her wavy curls sparking and writhing with her magic.

"If you two are done making fools of yourselves and our family name, Severus has invited us out for lunch. Let's go." She glowered at the trio of kids and the sea of the Weasley's in front but especially at the bushy-haired girl. "No need to dirty ourselves here with this lot." She flipped her tamed black curls and twirled, folding her arm into Severus' but not before she caught the shocked look on Arthur and Molly Weasleys face as if they had seen a ghost.

It triggered an unwanted memory, one of which unfortunately Severus caught before her shields went up around her mind.

*Flashback*

Aelladora was running fear on her face.

"Aw, come on Black we won't hurt you we promise." yelled two male voices.

"Not a chance Weasels," she yelled trying to make it back to the Slytherin dorms before they caught her. Just as she reached the last corner before the portrait her toe caught on the uneven dungeon floor and she fell.

"We got you now. You will pay for what your mother did." said the older Weasley boy.

The two of them started kicking and beating her after putting on a silencing charm so no one could hear her screams. She curled into a fetal position gaining a broken rib before a noise spooked the boys and they ran.

Aella remembered flowing black robes and a deep voice telling her she would be okay and her memory faded.

I will never be weak again! I will never let someone hurt me to the point I need to be saved ever again. I am the daughter of Bellatrix Lestrange-Black and Lucius Abraxas Malfoy.

That was the last thought Severus caught before she remembered her shield. She looked up into his obsidian eyes and furrowed her eyebrows before letting him in.

Don't tell anyone about that! I know how you saved me that day.

I won't, you have my vow. Always.

After having lunch with Severus, her father, and Draco, Aella decided to explore Diagon Alley a bit more. "Papa, I will meet you and Draco back at the manor. I need some space." Aella turned her silver eyes to her father and he nodded.

Aelladora sighed, wrapping her arms around herself before walking off. She apparated to Hogsmeade and took off towards the forbidden forest. Once there she shifted to her animagus and let out the saddest howl anyone had heard.

After an hour of running alongside the Centaur herd, she came across her old den.

'This is where I leave you, Firenze.' The centaur bowed his head to her.

"Will you be ok Piccolo lupo*?" Firenze asked her.

In time, dear friend in time, I will be. She left him with that cryptic message and walked into the den. She growled slightly at the scent that was here it was recent. 'Parchment, old books, freshly smoked tobacco, that was my Amortentia smell. But why is it so familiar?' she thought to herself.

Aella curled up at the furthest corner and let her shields down for the first time in 7 years. She never noticed the giant black and silver dire wolf standing guard at the entrance.

Severus had excused himself and let the Malfoy males go home. He apparated to his quarters and paced before he felt the urge for a run. He made his way to the edge of the forbidden forest where he shifted into a black and silver Dire wolf and followed his scent trail to the cave he had discovered.

Severus stopped short when he saw a white she-wolf with grey and red highlights along her fur; she was not that much smaller than him talking with Firenze the Centaur. Her scent was what intrigued him and it brought back a memory from Aelladora's seventh year during Valentine's day, when he was teaching about the dangers of Amortentia and how to recognize it.

Flashback

Severus swept through the dungeon potions room to a gold cauldron.

"Now, this potion is very dangerous and therefore worth showing you how to recognize it should it be used against you. Who can tell me what it is?"

A Slytherin girl with half-tamed black curls raised her hand.

"Yes, Miss. Black?" Severus nodded in pride that one of his house had a good hand in potions.

"It's Amortentia sir." she smiled.

"And, what does it do?" He smirked knowing she knew the answer.

"It's the most powerful love potion in the world, it has a distinct mother-of-pearl sheen as well as the steam rises in characteristic spirals," Aelladora said enthusiastically, "and it's supposed to smell differently to each of us, according to what attracts us, as I can smell parchment, old books, freshly smoked tobacco." she blushed at the end hoping no one heard her.

"Correct, Miss. Black, I smell the piney forest after a fresh rain, the scent of strawberries and cinnamon, and peppermint tea." He responded.

End of Flashback

Severus shook his massive wolf head and crept toward the cave he peered in and saw the she-wolf sleeping. He decided to stand guard at the entrance so he could talk with her when she woke up.

With Aelladora's shields down as she slept she relived her nightmares, there were growls and whimpers echoing through the cave. She calmed when she felt a familiar presence and scent wrap around her. She whimpered and moved closer to the warmth.

Severus couldn't take the whimpers; each one hurt his soul. He went inside the cave and curled around the she-wolf. He was intrigued when the whimpering stopped and she curled closer to him. He licked her ear and rested his head next to hers protecting her as she slept.

Aella awoke with a start and immediately put her shields up when she noticed a male dire wolf curled around her. She yelped and moved into a defensive position a little away and began to growl in warning.

Severus awoke to a growl, he shook his head and looked at the now terrified she-wolf. He got up slowly and shook his whole body.

Who are you?! she growled, not letting him get closer to her.

I mean you no harm dear one. He tried to be as calm and soft as it was possible for him to be.

Who are you? She asked more desperately this time standing her ground still.

Do you know where you are dear? He tried to avoid who he was for a little while longer.

She looked around. I'm in a cave I found when I was a third-year and had found my animagus power to get away from bullies. she whimpered at the memory.

He tried to take a step towards her to comfort the strange she-wolf who seemed familiar to him but her growls started back up and he backed up. What's your name dear one? You seem so familiar to me.

She thought for a moment but she didn't trust this wolf completely. Aiyana .

He nodded, sensing her fear, not of him but because he was male. He had an idea though he didn't like it he felt the need to gain her trust. My name is Onyx. He got down on his stomach and rolled to his back letting his throat be exposed in a submissive position in front of her.

She was shocked that this wolf who presented himself as an Alpha would submit to her the most submissive wolf imaginable. Shaking her head she calmed instantly and walked over beside him and licked his neck before gently nipping it. Then surprised herself and Onyx more when she took the same position.

Onyx rolled over shocked that she submitted and trusted him. He stood up on all fours and reached down licking her neck though he wasn't as gently in his nip as she had been.

She accepted the marking and never flinched. For whatever reason, she trusted him above all other males. They laid there licking each other every once in a while. As the moon came up she sighed. Onyx, I have to go.

Will I see you again? He was hopeful.

She thought about it and gave him a parting lick just above her mark. Yes, I always love to run every night in the forest and always end up here.

Until next we meet Aiyana. He licked directly on his mark before nuzzling her forehead and they both dashed out of the cave in opposite directions, both puzzled by who the other was and why they seemed familiar.

Aelladora reached the edge of the forest near Hogsmeade and let out a howl waiting for the response back.

Severus was at the edge near the castle when he heard her howl and answered back with his deep howl.

They both smiled before transforming and heading home.

Aelladora entered the Manor as quietly as she could and ran to her room. She went into the bathroom and took a look at her collarbone. There was her Alpha's mark. It was the shape of a tribal wolf howling at an absent moon. She sighed running her fingers over it wondering who Onyx really was. She shook her head and changed into her pyjamas and went to bed.

Severus entered his room and felt a mix of emotions he never felt before, went to his bathroom and stripped down to a pair of black joggers looking at the tiny tribal full moon on his collarbone he smiled before hearing the roar of his fireplace. He groaned as Albus was heard.

"Severus my boy, where are you?" The annoying voice of the Headmaster coming from his living room.

"In my quarters I will be out in a minute," Severus growled. He threw his white button-up back on but never bothered with the buttons. He was tired and just wanted Albus to go away. "What do you want?" he snarled while walking across to the liquor cabinet grabbing a glass and fire whiskey.

"I just came down here to ask why you were howling but I suppose... Severus, what's on your neck?" Albus was looking at Severus' collarbone.

Severus had thrown back a drink he forgot his shirt wasn't buttoned as it slid off his shoulder slightly. He swore and fixed his shirt. "None of your business old man now I'm going to bed." Severus stormed off to his room slamming his door behind him, his good mood with Aiyana was gone. He heard the fire going so Severus knew he was alone. He sighed as he touched the mark that beautiful she-wolf bestowed on him, before taking his shirt back off and laying in his four-poster bed.

Aella awoke from yet another frustrating dream hoping the man made a move soon as she may take matters into her own hands. She sighed walking to the bathroom and took a shower trying to get his mischief lit obsidian eyes out of her mind.

"He's going to be the death of me." She said to herself with a smile. After gathering some clothes to get her plants secured to be taken care of without her here, she headed downstairs.

"Hello Aella." A deep rich baritone voice greeted her. It startled her so much she missed the last step and fell. He moved quickly and caught her, "My apologies dear, I didn't mean to startle you."

She shivered at the feeling of his slender fingers on her lower back as she had decided on the black crop top she had arrived home in and a pair of tight fitting jeans.

"I-I just wasn't expecting you today Severus. What brings you here?" She whispered her voice not wanting to work as her heart raced from being in close proximity to him though it wasn't a dream this time.

"I thought I would help you with your plants. We can get them transferred to my greenhouse that Professor Sprout lends me." He smirked while helping her stand up, keeping his hand on her lower back.

"I would like that very much it would make the process faster." She answered, her face flushed from thinking of her dreams and how they all started in the garden.

He chuckled softly watching her face turn crimson wondering what could possibly be going through her head. "Lead the way, little one."

Aella stared up into his obsidian eyes sparkling with mischief and smiled before nodding, taking his hand in hers she lead him out to the greenhouse she had dedicated to these herbs and had grown all summer.

She opened up the doors smiling as she smelt the air pausing as she picked up the scent of freshly smoked tobacco. She shook her head and continued on to her plants she obtained at the monastery she trained at in Japan.

Severus was curious about her behaviour around him, what was making her so nervous and flustered? He had an idea, she had grown into a beautiful woman and the years abroad had done her good. She was more confident in herself than she had been at school, though that may have been due to the older Weasley boys bullying her constantly.

He wore casual clothes today a white button up shirt tucked into a pair of dark blue jeans, maybe that's what threw her off. He chuckled while unbuttoning his cuffs and rolling up his sleeves to his elbows. He walked up behind her wrapping his arms around her waist, pulling her towards him. He heard the sharp intake of breath from her and grinned now realising what had her so flustered.

"S-sev? I swear if this turns out to be a dream I will scream!" She moaned softly as his fingers danced across her skin, she laid her head back onto his shoulder.

"Is this why you keep blushing when in my presence my dear Aella?" He whispered his lips dancing from her ear down to her collarbone.

"Y-yes, every night it's the same dream always here, always with you. But ends with you disapparating on me leaving me a hot mess by morning." She squirmed in his grip as his fingers teased her bare midriff.

He chuckled, turning her around. "We could take this somewhere a bit more comfortable." His lips on the shell of her ear whispering promises. Her molten silver eyes widened meeting his, she could see the heated longing in his obsidian eyes but also a questioning gaze. Realisation hit her, he was leaving it up for her to decide what the next move was going to be.

She grinned reaching up and cupping his cheeks in her hands, she stood up on her tiptoes keeping his gaze, though he raised an eyebrow his curiosity was peaked. She smiled before pressing her lips much to his surprise. His grip around her waist tightened and one hand slid up into her curls as he kissed her back. He nipped her bottom lip and pressed her body against him. She gasped at the sensation he slid his tongue into her mouth and battled hers.

They broke apart to breathe holding each other close. She looked around before she whispered hoarsely as she was trying to fight her frantic beating heart. "I believe we should take this somewhere more comfortable, Severus. After three months of these dreams, you are not leaving me hanging again." Her voice had a slight growl to it, to which he barked a burst of laughter that made her grin.

"Alright my dear, let's see how good you are at sneaking into your bedroom without alerting your father." His eyes were darkened with longing but held a glimmer of mischief.

Aella grinned, "You have no idea how good I am at sneaking in and out of that room." She grabbed his hand and dragged him along with her. She placed an invisibility spell on them she had created and got them into her room. Just as the door shut and the wards were put into place so that no one would hear them, she was pressed against the door and lips on hers as they continued what they had started in the garden it ended with them on her bed screaming in ecstasy and holding each other close they fell asleep under the covers.

The next morning Aella woke to find Severus laying on his back with an arm wrapped around her and she smiled. 'So it wasn't a dream this time.' She trailed a hand down his chest through the cluster of fine black hairs before she was stopped by a larger hand. She raised her eyes to his and smiled softly.

"Good morning Severus." She spoke softly. The hand that stopped hers moved to cup her cheek he softly rubbed his thumb across her cheekbone.

"Good morning Aella," he raised an eyebrow as her thoughts were not guarded so early in the morning. "Why on earth would I regret anything from last night?" He was a little concerned at her thoughts but knew from her letters she had trust issues stemming from past relationships.

She blushed and cast her eyes down to the bed. "I-I don't know. I'm used to waking up alone after a night of physical relations." She started to shake slightly, Severus sat up and wrapped her in his arms.

"Aella, we've been close friends for about four years now and every year we grew closer you let me into your heart and soul with the secrets you've told me. I would never ever, use or abuse you like that arse of a boy did all those years ago." He reached up with his other hand cupping her other cheek bringing her face closer placing a soft chaste kiss on her lips. "I'm in too deep for any games," he whispered so softly she barely heard him.

"Let's go get some breakfast and we can discuss my apprenticeship." Her eyes held so much hope he couldn't help but chuckle and nod. She got off the bed and threw on a pair of shorts, her bra and stole his white button-up shirt leaving the top four buttons undone.

Severus chuckled a bit louder and wrapped his arms around her waist. "You look so good in my shirt. What are we going to do in close quarters together you walk around like that?" His soft whispers in her ear caused her body to tremble in his hands.

"Spend more nights like last night?" She looked up shyly. He smirked and kissed the top of her head.

"I like that idea, waking up with you in my arms every morning sounds like a dream come true." He smiled against her forehead holding her to him.

"That does sound nice. Come on let's go get breakfast and then we'll continue transferring my plants." She smiled up at him before making her way over to the door waiting for him to pull his jeans back on and magic a black button-up. They walked down the hall hand in hand to the dining room. They spent the rest of the morning laughing and moving more of her plants to Hogwarts. They spent the afternoon cuddled on her window seat in the library.

"Aella last night and today has been amazing and I shall return to your side in the morning. Tonight dream of me little one." He tilted her chin up towards him and placed a soft kiss on her lips, before leaving. She sighed realising he left his shirt.
