Chapter 3:
Hogsmeade Weekend

Rose's P.O.V:

I woke up the next morning early. I was going on a date with Aiden today. I had to wear something nice for him. I looked over at Alice's bed. "Alice, are you awake?" I half whispered.

I saw her stirring and sit up suddenly. "Well now I am." She said rudely.

"I was hoping that you would help me chose something for my date today." I said turning back around. Wait, I just realized. Merlin, I forgot to tell her I was going to go Hogsmeade with Aiden today.

"Are you finally going to Hogsmeade with Scorpius today?" She practically screamed.

I gave a small shake of my head. "No, remember he was going with Lily. I'm going with Aiden." I said.

"Seriously? Okay you're not joking. Okay I'll help you find something to wear."

Two hours later filled with screaming and fighting we finally decided on me wearing a pair of black Muggle jeans, a purple top which was underneath my mums denim jacket she gave me for my birthday last year. Alice also convinced me for her to use a spell to keep my hair straight and I wore it out for the first time in my life.

I walked down to the Great Hall quickly to make sure I get there on time. When I got there I was embraced in a warm hug from Aiden. I could hear 'aw's from people around me. I let go of him and he took my hand in his and we started to walk down to the carriages that would take us down to Hogsmeade.

We got out of our carriage and organized to go to The Three Broomsticks. When we got there we went to a section at the back and we sat down.

"Do you want a butter beer?" Aiden asked me.

"Yeah." I said. A butter beer is what I need right now.

Aiden stood up. "I'll go get you and myself when one then." Aiden said as he went off to the front counter.

Okay time for me to think. Remember what Scorpius said. Ground rules about your "date":

"Don't let him hold your hand. It is my hand to hold and me only!" Scorpius said.

What he doesn't own my hand that isn't really a thing that you can own. You can own a jar or pickles or a child or a television. But not a hand.

"And certainly do not under no circumstances let his mouth reach your mouth in a 20cm radius. Okay?" He asked me.

"Sure whatever." I grunted back.

Soon Aiden was back with two butter beers. "For you malady." I had to resist the urge to not giggle at him as he set down my butter beer in front of me.

"Thanks Aiden." I said sweetly to him. "So..." I said awkwardly.

Aiden moved his chair closer to mine. "I don't want to make this date awkward. I really like you." Aiden said as he inched his head slowly to mine.

Merlin! I had to get out of this somehow. He was in my personal space, he had broken the 20cm rule! Not me! Some has to give me credit for that!

I turned my head just as his lips were close to mine. He ended up kissing my cheek. "So where do you want to go next?" I asked smiling. That was a close one. I kind of feel like that I am somehow cheating on Scorpius.

Aiden seemed a bit dazed at what just happened. At the moment Scorpius and Lily walked through the door. I could see that she was holding his hand but he wasn't holding her hand back. That little bitch! Shit, I mean Merlin! She makes me so angry.

I moved my chair closer to Aiden just to piss Scorpius, but Aiden got the wrong idea. He leaned in for another kiss. I moved in to but at the last second I moved my mouth to his ear. "Why don't we save that for the end of the date?" I said to him.

I moved away and he face looked really blank and shocked he slowly nodded his head. He gulped nervously.

"Okay. Let's go to Weasley's Wizard Wheezes'." I said as I got up and grabbed his hand. I dragged him out the door and went past Scorpius and Lily. I smiled at them as I went past. I knew that Scorpius was pissed.

When we got there we were greeted by Uncle George. "Well if it isn't my favorite niece." Uncle George greeted me.

I rolled my eyes. "You said that to Lily last time she saw you." I said.

Uncle George smiled weakly towards me. "And who is this lad? Hopefully you are treating my niece with respect." He said accusingly to Aiden. I looked over at Aiden who had suddenly looked terrified.

"My name is Aiden Wood sir." Aiden replied sounding a little scared.

"We will just be going." I said to Uncle George.

Ugh! He was always so protective of his nieces. We got out of the shop and walked through the streets of Hogsmeade. "Don't worry about Uncle George, he's just trying to make you feel scared he does it to any of his nieces." I said to Aiden.

"Do you want to go sit down?" Aiden asked.

I slowly nodded and we went to go sit down at a chair nearby.

When we sat down I heard Aiden sigh beside me. "Is there something wrong?" I asked concerned.

"It's just that I have finally gotten enough courage to ask you out. I have wanted to ever since third year. But this date was meant to be special but I am just boring you! Ugh why do I always mess things up." Aiden screamed the last part and threw up his arms.

I grabbed his arms and yanked them down. "Aiden you are doing perfectly fine. I thought I would be the one boring you. Cause am I boring? Am I talking to much? Of course I'm talking to much! My dad usually asks me to talk a little less at home..."

"Rose." Aiden said.

"But I love talking, who wouldn't? Ugh I why do people..." I continued.

"Rose." I heard Aiden faintly.
Suddenly Aiden lips connected themselves to mine and he grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him. I wrapped my arms around his neck. He was a good kisser and I liked him, but I loved Scorpius. Aiden let go of my waist and disconnected his lips from mine. "I'm sorry, I had to get you to stop talking somehow. And you weren't listening to me." Aiden said while looking at his hands.

I held his hands in mine. "It's fine. Do you want to go to the shrieking shack?" I asked.

"Yeah, sure. Sounds like a good idea." Aiden replied. We walked our way down to the shrieking shack. We got there and stood at the fence.

"Do you want to move closer? To get a better look?" I asked Aiden.

Do you want to go back to school?" I asked.

He nodded slowly before holding my hands and guiding me to school.

"You know that it was the end of the date and I said you can kiss me at the end of the date." I said, flirting a little bit and rubbing his arm. I walked in front of him dragging him with me. I could hear him gulp from behind me. I dragged him all the way back up to school where we went into the library at the back to the spot I liked.

We sat down on a couch. "Now was the date good?" I asked.

"Yea, it was. After that kiss. Sorry." Aiden said.

I gave him a weird look.

"Did just say that out loud? Okay I did. Thanks Rose for the best date of my life. Do you maybe want to go to Hogsmeade next time with me?" Aiden expressed.

He is a really sweet guy. "Sure Aiden. I'd love to." I said smiling. "Do you want to go back to our common room?" I asked.

"Could we stay here? As I need some help with some homework." Aiden questioned me.

"Sure. What do you need help with?" I said to Aiden.

Three hours later I had helped Aiden finish his homework and he helped me finish my Ancient Runes essay and we were walking out of the library when we bumped into Scorpius.

"Hey man." Aiden said as he fist bumped Scorpius.

"Hey do you mind if I talk to Weasley for a moment?" Scorpius asked Aiden.

"Yeah sure. Meet me back at the Common Room, okay?" Aiden said. I nodded to him and he walked away.

Scorpius guided me to a classroom and he sat on the teachers desk. He breathe out a sigh. "I saw you kiss Aiden today." He said sadly.

"He kissed me. Didn't Lily try anything?" I asked him.

"No and if she had I wouldn't have let her. I feel like you have cheated on me. Like I don't even exist to you anymore." He yelled at me.

Oh Merlin. I have done it now! "Scorpius. Shh." I said as I calmed him down by putting my arms on his shoulders. "I love you and only you. Okay?" I asked him. He nodded his head. We both leaned forward and our lips connected. My hand went around his neck as his went to my waist and lifted me off the ground so I was sitting in his lap. We kissed for a out five minutes. We both leaned back.

"To make it up to you you shall accompany me to the Astronomy Tower next Saturday night for a Picnic Date." Scorpius said. "If you want to." He continued.

"Yes, I'd love to." I nodded. We continued kissing for a while. We suddenly jumped apart when the door swung open revealing James, my cousin.

"Aha I knew you two were secretly dating!" James said pointing at us.

Scorpius looked about half scared to death with this encounter.

"Don't worry man," James started. "You're a cool guy. You're my brothers best friend. Go ahead date her secretly, I won't tell." He finished as he walked out the door.

"There's something wrong about that." I said suspiciously. I looked at the time on the clock. "It's 6:50! Dinner starts in ten minutes! Let's go!" I said as I dragged him out of the room.

We got to dinner on time. But we walked in at separate times. I went to go sit with Aiden who was talking to his friend William.

He turned around as I sat down and kissed me on the cheek. Dinner flew by quickly and I went upstairs and as I had no homework I went to the Common Room and played chess with Aiden until we both fell asleep.
