Soooo I've finally gotten around to writing chapter five in the story... Sorry it's taken me so long but I've been busy with the first few months of college. But here we go. There may or may not be a lemon in this chapter. By that I mean yes because I have a dirty mind.

JPOV

I don't remember much, the memories just go black when the Major lunges forward. Bella is sitting in the corner geting looked over by Carlisle with a large bruise on her forehead. The major had apparently started ripping off limbs with a reckless abandonment and a stray piece of either Edward or Alice had flown across the room and hit Bella on the head. I was pissed that he had hurt my mate like that and the fact that I hadn't had control over him like I should of.

"Our mate." the Major hissed, he growled but didn't rattle the cage that I had locked him in so it meant that he was as pissed at himself as I was at him. Edward was currently being put back together by Eleazar and Alice by Carmen. Esme stood over the two as the venom fused the fuckers back together. For the most part it was quiet. The only thing that could really be heard was Bella's heartbeat and her breathing. Carlisle finished up looking over my mate and left her in the corner. I sat down on the couch and put my head in my hands. I could hear my mate move closer to me as I wallowed in self pity. I didn't look up at her. She didn't say anything though. I figured she'd want my undivided attention like Alice did and I still needed the psychotic pixie bitch to sign the papers. Bella just sat quietly next to me, close enough to keep the pull at bay, but far enough to give me space. When I finally peeked over at her she was reading a book, smiling. At another glance to the cover, I realized what she was reading and nearly came in my pants. In her soft warm hands was a book about the Civil War, more specifically about the youngest confederate Major. Me. She was reading about me and my time in the human army. I finally couldn't stand not holding her and moved over to sit as close as possible with out touching. I came as close as I dared and started reading over her shoulder.

"Jasper if you want to read with me, just tell me." Bella said softly. I looked into her chocolate eyes and nodded. She all of a sudden settled herself on my lap with her head resting on my shoulder, holding the book out in front of us. My arms came up on their own and wrapped themselves around Bella's small waist. Emmett went back to playing video games with Rose sitting in between his legs, reading a hot rod magazine.

"Do mind if we join you?" The Denali's asked. We all nodded. Carmen and Eleazar cuddled on the loveseat, while Irina and Laurent took the only recliner, snuggling together. Katie and Tayna, who had run here during the fight, sat together on the floor, with a few fashion magazines, only a few feet away from Rose's position on the floor. Carlisle and Esme came in a few moments later and took the other end of the couch and sat cuddling, while watching everyone. The room was so peaceful and quiet, I ended up just closing my eyes and soaking in the good emotions. It was nice and then it seemed to end, when Alice and Edward came back into the living.

"Bella, love, what are you doing? Get away from Jasper. He's a killer, a monster." Edward sniffed. I clenched my teeth as to keep the screams at bay as the dark emotions started to swirl again. It was something the Denali's didn't have to witness at all. The darkness began to cloud around me again. I vaguely heard Bella's book snap shut as she huffed in irritation and slammed the book onto the coffee table. My control over my emotions was slipping and Rose and Bella seemed to notice. From there the darkness took over and I let the screams out.

BPOV

I was going to kill that penny headed piece of shit. I spent so much time on an uncomfortable plane to get Jasper out of a cycle and the fucker sends him back into one. Obviously I would have done so Edward or no Edward, since Jasper was my mate. But the discomfort was still there. As soon as my Jasper was back, Edward was going to die. I turned around and straddled Jasper's lap and grabbed his face in my palms. His eyes were so empty, it broke my heart. His screams just got louder when Alice piped in.

"Oh my gosh Jasper, you are such a failure. You can't even get over an itty bitty war and start screaming all the time. How the heck can a monster like you even feel remorse at all?" Alice said with annoyance coloring her tone. I looked over at Rosalie and jerked my head at Alice. She nodded back and then went over and relieved Alice of her head once again. I turned back to my mate and focused on him. I pushed every ounce of love and peace I had in me at him. It didn't seem to do anything at all. I got myself as close to him as possible, and tried again but nothing seemed to work. I couldn't let myself feel anything negative, so I tried talking to him.

"Hey Jasper, come on. It isn't true. You are not a monster now and you never were then. Please listen to me." I whispered softly as tears started collecting in my eyes. "Baby, please you are not a monster or a killer or a murderer. You're my mate, my Jasper. Please, please come back to me." I wasn't about to give up until he was back to his normal self. Just then the front door banged open and in ran Peter and Char. Char all of a sudden gasped and stopped in her tracks. Peter all of a sudden seemed to gaze off into the distance. When he snapped out of it he looked at me and spoke.

"This is his worst one yet." Peter was then suddenly very quiet and Eleazar spoke up.

"I don't understand. I figured his wouldn't get any worse once he had Bella. Why is this one the worst." Eleazar's question sparked quite the conversation, but it wasn't helping Jasper in any way possible. Char seemed to notice and hushed the other vampires in the room. I all of a sudden had an urge to be as close to Jasper in any way possible.

"I need to get Jasper and myself up to my room." I said. Emmett came over and all of a sudden picked the two of us up and rushed us to my room. I looked over and thanked my brother for everything and then had him close and lock the door behind him on his way out. Once Jasper and I were alone, I untangled myself from him and started to pull his clothes off. Or at least I tried. Eventually I gave up and ripped all of his clothes off of him, with the exception of his jeans. From there I pulled the bits of fabric away to reveal his heavenly form. I could also see all of his scars. Thick cresent shaped scars that criss-crossed his body. I might had stared for a little too long because Jasper's screaming increased. I hastily shed my own clothes and pressed my naked body up against Jasper's. The increase in skin to skin contact help decrease the screaming considerably. I resumed my position of straddling him and holding his face in my hands.

"Jasper, baby. Listen to me. There is no reason to be afraid. You're safe, here with me," I said softly. "I love you Jasper and I'm never going to leave you. You are loved by so many people other than me to. We all love you honey. You're never gonna be alone when you don't want to be. I love you." I ended on a whisper and nuzzled my face into the juncture where his neck met his shoulder. I soon fell asleep in his arms and for the first time in months, slept peacefully and for a long time.

The blackness cleared from my vision and the emotions started to fade. I blinked against the sunlight streaming in from the eastern window. The sun was just coming up which meant that I had been out for quite sometime. I was getting ready to move when someone nuzzled into my chest. I looked down to see my mate in all of her naked glory, curled up next to me, sleeping soundly. I allowed myself a taste of her emotions and the let them in full force. The sheer amount of content and peace was relaxing, so I settled back down and pulled Bella a little closer to me. With my eyes closed, I pretended that I was sleeping next to my mate. Her warmth was like heaven to me. My hand roamed up and down her bare back, along her spine. We stayed there for another hour or so before Bella started waking up.

"Mornin Darlin." I murmured into her hair. I stiffened when Bella started to shift around while she was waking up. She all of a suddened picked her head up and looked at me couriously.

"What's wrong Jas?" She questioned. Her eyes stared at me, half hooded by sleep, making me extremely hard. I picked her up and placed her over my throbbing erection and ground into her.

"EWW! Sissy and Jazz together and naked. Just get dressed and get down stairs. ROSIE THEY WERE NAKED!" Emmett shouted.

"Well then next time don't knock so hard. Then you won't see anything that you don't like." Rose yelled back at her mate. Bella and I laughed and got dressed. I nearly tore her clothes off of her the moment I saw her. It wasn't anything special but just seeing her in my button up shirt turned me on. She took my hand and lead me down stairs. We were greated by the family and the Denalis who were congregated in the living room.

"Good morning Bella, Jasper." Esme said kindly. I nodded my head while Bella said a chipper 'mornin' to out beloved matriarch. Emmett sat in a corner with his eyes covered. Rose looked up and smiled at me and then at Bella.

"Emmett, we're dressed and you have to fix that door for me. I at least need the illusion of privacy in a house full of vampires." Bella said with a joking glare at Emmett. He looked at her with a sheepish grin.

"Sorry Jelly Belly. I'll fix it later today." Emmett said. Bella smiled and then gave Emmett a quick hug and a peck on the cheek.

"It's okay brother bear." Bella smiled. Esme and Carlisle, who had entered only a moment ago came up to Bella. There was a sadness in their eyes and their emotions said that they were very disapointed in themselves.

"Bella. We just wanted to apologize for our actions." Esme said sadly. Carlisle nodded and then spoke up himself.

"I have a lot to apologize for. I never should have listened to Edward. Looking back I've realized that I have given into him more than I should. Alice too and for that my other children have paid dearly for it. I'm so very sorry." He said as he hung his head. Rosalie, Emmett and myself looked at Carlisle shocked. We never saw this coming.

BPOV

I looked at Carlisle and Esme very carefully. I loved them and trusted them, but with the amount of pain and betrayal I had suffered I had become skeptical. But they were sincere. I smiled at them and rushed over to hug them. I just couldn't help it. I had always felt that they were my parents. Renee had been too flighty to take care of me and Charlie had his head stuck so far up his ass, he couldn't see. When I first met them they treated me like a real daughter. Carlisle stumbled a little when I flung my arms around him.

"Bella, we're so sorry. You've always been a part of the family." Esme sobbed. I looked up and dove into her arms.

"I know, Mom. I know." When I called her mom, she started sobbing harder. I smiled and when we let go, quickly made my way back to Jasper and snuggled into his side.

"Well... What have we got here? Awe, Major, you've finally found that one person who can turn you into a pussy." Pete said as he walked into the livingroom. I narrowed my eyes at him and wiggled my way out of Jasper's arms. I stalked forward, but Jasper followed me. Char had entered at this point and noticed the tension between Pete and I and then rolled her eyes.

"Major, don't bother. Your mate can easily hold her own against my idiotic husband." Char sighed and then turned to us. "I swear if you guys break anything or Pete if you hurt Bells, I'll ripe off your dick and bury it for a month in the backyard." Esme, Emmett, Carlisle and Jasper all looked on very worried. Rosalie looked on with her usual look of indifference. Alice and Edward as well as the Denalis who had all come back from hunting looked on rather shocked. I looked at every single one of them, before finally settling on Pete with an evil look on my face.

"You're going down motherfucker. Run." I whispered narrowing my eyes...
