Briscoe the smart mouthed cop
Had a very shiny smile

All of the the other cops
Used to give him lots of lip
They never let poor Lennie
Get away with any quip
Then one foggy summer night
Cragen came to say
Lennie with your smile so bright
Won't you guide the case tonight
Then how the others loved him
As they shouted out with glee
