Vegeta looked around at the post. There were various aliens in cages, along with animals and creatures. Arms, tails, tentacles, and tendrils poked from boxes and traded currencies and exports. He was looking for something good. Something to take home to his son. Unique. As he did any time he was near this side of the galaxies. Even though he was here for a bounty. His eyes saw everything and everyone before they settled on a vendor. His shrill voice seemed to cut through the crowd with ease. Vegeta walked through the plaza and to the other side where he slipped closer to the shadows.
He knew that voice. A swindler. Call him a seller, but not a proper one. Vegeta had let him live once or twice. He continued to stay in the dimly lit shadow cast upon a wall. The seller's eyes saw him and waved his hands. "Here! Here, come inside! I've got a treat!" he called. Vegeta's eyes rose and saw the crawly alien before him. "Please," he reasoned as he waved a hand towards a door. "Inside you'll find treasures your eyes have never seen." He stepped forward and the alien with four eyes and purple skin paused for a moment. "Ah, Vegeta," he greeted. "Please, step inside." Vegeta gave no expression towards him but, nevertheless followed him into the harem he knew he owned. He watched him press back lush drapery and said, "In the back. None of the females in the front are for sale."
He saw a door open and the alien, Bolick was his name, waved a fourth arm and said, "Leave us." Two others looked them over before they nodded and left the room. "These ones," he announced. Vegeta's eyes flashed at the one female with pale blue eyes. Both were fair-skinned and raven-haired. Their skin wasn't unblemished but, nevertheless, they were lovely to look upon. He hadn't seen women like them since the day he left Earth. Women who were soft and plush and gentle, they were easily victimized by exports and traders. They were rarer and rarer to be sold. It wasn't often these women were seen let alone for sale.
"They're quite a sight to see here in the alleyways," he commented. "And they're soft and ripe for the taking," Bolick agreed. "Where did you get them?" he pondered. Bolick smiled wickedly. "I was told they came from Earth before it was gone of course. Before our time of Lord Freiza," he said. Vegeta eyed him at the sound of that name. His lip curled and his head tilted. "What is your price for them?" The blue-eyed one stared deeply at him. Her eyes were piercing. "What are you willing to pay?" he retorted. Vegeta eyed him further. "How about the bounty on your head?" He went dead still when Vegeta knocked his hood back with a wicked smile. "You'll give them to me so I don't kill you instead," he reasoned quietly. "But, but, V-Ve-Vege-"
"Sh-sh-shhhh," Vegeta murmured, "We don't need a scene made, do we?" The alien before him trembled. "Of course not," he said as he raised his hands up in his defense. "But, my head for two mere women?" he asked. Vegeta said, "I could have both, easily. I'm willing to let you liveā¦again."
Within moments Brolick succumbed to him and nodded. His four hands rose defensively. "Yes, of course, anything you want," he agreed quickly. "Here," he reasoned, "there's a door in the back, you-you can take them through there!" Vegeta merely chuckled and walked to the barred box the girls were in. He easily pulled the door away and Brolick grumbled, "I hate it when you break things." Vegeta ignored him. It wasn't often he showed mercy or didn't follow through with a bounty. He reached his hand out to the blue-eyed one and cautiously she took his. "Good girl," he said as he looked at the other.
But, he wasn't expecting the other one to come around at him. Her onyx eyes were enraged with an anger he hadn't seen in years. She threw her head into Vegeta's, head-butting him with a force he hadn't expected. Brolick laughed behind him. "I'm more than willing to give them to you, after all, they've killed three of my men already." Vegeta's head spun for a moment. He looked for her and his eyes widened seeing her onyx eyes flash blue. She spits blood and said, "Don't touch her." He wiped the blood from his nose. "You're strong, I'll give you that," he noted when he shoved her back. Brolick yelled, "Don't break-" He pulled the other up onto his shoulder. "You'll come with me," he ordered. She went to him and her hand touched his shoulder. "Wait-" Before she could wince. Before she would blink, he had rushed her and his eyes crackled blue. They were the last thing she saw when he returned her attack and his forehead bluntly smacked into hers. She froze until suddenly, darkness surrounded her.
