Chapter 9, Emma pov
I ran to the water, holding Regina's hand in mine. My skin felt as if it was on fire on the place where it touched hers. We jumped into the water and quickly swam away, but before we even reached the end of the cave I turned to Regina. Even underwater, where everything was blurry, she was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. I put my arm around her waist and pulled her closer to me, she looked at me with confused eyes. I smiled at her in response. Feeling her muscles relax in my arms made me feel so special, special in a way I never felt before. I pressed my lips on hers and kissed her gently. I could feel Regina smile into the kiss and she folded her arms around my neck. We sank down together because neither of us cared to swim anymore. Our feet hit the ground and we stood there, underwater in the enemies cave, kissing. My heart warmed up, spreading warmth and love through my veins. After a few seconds I pulled back and took her hand, a honest smile on my face. Together we swam to the end of the cave, to our happiness. But ofcourse faith wouldn't let us get away too easily...
We reached the end of the cave when we noticed her, Ursula. We backed up and looked at each other. We couldn't speak underwater, we couldn't make plans. I looked at her, I knew that I would never ever let her go. Not again. I took her hand in mine and squeezed it encouraging, she nodded. She understood that we would do this together. We swam towards the end of the cave, towards Ursula. We were ready to face her.
My heartbeat speed up as we saw her, she looked... repulsive. Her skin a goldish color and tentickles all around her. We tried to swim past her, but it didn't work. Soon I felt something grabbing me by my waist and pulling me down. I got pulled to her, the evil sea goddess. Her face was fat and wrinckled, her eyes a bright green color that contrast strangle with the rest of her sober colored body. "Not that fast" she said, her voice sounded like dying cats, horrible. "No one leaves or gets in this cave without my permission". A wicked smile spread across the godess' face, it was horrifying. I couldn't say anything back, so I just looked at her. I hoped my eyes did not show the fear I had, I hoped they looked as fearless as I wanted them to look. One of her tenteckles bruised my cheek, making a cold shiver run over my spine. "Now... You will have to pay a price ofcourse". She giggled strangle, like even stranger then Rumple's giggle. One of her tenteckles catched Reginas enckle and pulled her down next to me. "For two.." she smiled. She seemed to think for a while, I glanced at Regina. But her eyes were focused on the godess infront of us. "Ah!" Ursula cheered in delight. "I know.. Your magical ring". A tenteckle pointed at my ring, Regina looked at me and shook her head. But I nodded and took a final deep underwater breath. I pulled of the ring and threw it at her. She slowly pulled her tenteckles away from us. I could feel my longes screaming for air, apparently the underwater breath did not count as oxigen to them. My vision become blurry, I saw Regina swimming towards me and felt her hand grabbing my waist. Then I remember darkness.
