Chapter 17, Emma

Emma woke up in a empty bed, like she had in the past few days. Ever since Regina just... disappeared without even leaving a note. It was so unlike Regina to just leave her and Henry like that unless it was important. Unless she had no other choice. That worried Emma, what if Regina really didn't have a choice? What if someone took her without her consent?
Every day Emma had been looking for her girlfriend, but without any luck. It seemed as if she vanished from the face of the earth and with no instruments of leaving to other lands.. Emma was starting to fear that she would never see Regina again or just her cold dead body. No. She couldn't afford to think like that, she had to get going. Get out of bed, take care of Henry and find Regina. One step at the time.
Emma groaned as she tossed her blanket aside and got out of bed, taking a quick shower before heading down to the kitchen to make Henry breakfast. She could tell the kid was just as worried and scared as she was, but there was nothing Emma could say or do to make him feel better, besides finding Regina of course.
The two sat silently in the kitchen as they ate breakfast before they both left in the same silence. Emma never really was one to comfort people, it just wasn't her skill, it never was. And how could she comfort him when she shared his doubts and his fears? How could she comfort him when she was crying herself to sleep every night too?
