Once again, this is a little bit (okay, a lot) later than I wanted it to be ready. I hope you are still hanging on, despite my unorthodox updating schedule. Also, this story reached more than 50 reviews and 100 follows, for which I want to say thank you. I am glad you enjoy reading this story as much as I enjoy writing it. I tried to heed chaosrin's advice and shed a little bit of light on the thoughts of the students of the different houses on Hermione and Pansy's relationship, I hope I got it about right. I am especially glad to hear that you like my characterization of Hermione and Pansy, riskeybusiness, as it is the part I usually have the most trouble with. Leti2a, I forgot this a chapter earlier, sorry about that. Anyways, no need for thanks. I am glad to see I was able to convince you to give this pairing a chance. They are a wonderful pairing, though (or maybe exactly because) they are very contrasting in some respects. That all said, on with the story!

Pansy

There was some kind of odd silence hanging in the air in the great hall. I had not really noticed until now, too lost in the bubble Hermione and I had created around ourselves, and frankly it had been too good to watch Hermione squirm (she is just so hot when she does that) to not tease her some, or maybe a little bit more, rather than to pay attention to my surroundings. Hermione still had not noticed how everyone still seemed to be shocked by us being together, too lost in the pictures I had put in her mind.

Both Gryffindors and Slytherins seemed to take us being together rather well, much to my surprise. Follow your leaders, I suppose. Hermione was an authority in her house, but even more so was Harry. The fact that he was willing to accept us being together without a second thought helped us a great deal in being accepted by the Gryffindors. And while the house of Gryffindor certainly had a few purebloods amongst their ranks and usually a Gryffindor was not afraid to speak their mind, another one of their typical features was loyalty, and they all felt that towards Hermione.

The support of my own house surprised me more. While I, as both prefect and senior, was the one all of the Slytherins looked up to at the moment (which I, I got to admit, enjoyed immensely), I had figured that the moment I would show such a weakness, being homosexual and on top of that involved with a muggleborn, Most of them would turn away from me. For some reason, they did not, despite the fact that I had broken two of the unwritten rules amongst purebloods at the same time. It was both nice and disconcerting to see that while some of the more conservative purebloods looked somewhat uncomfortable no one actually stood up. I was happy about this on a personal level for everybody seemed to have grown more accepting, but on the other hand it also showed that at the moment you almost had to defend yourself for being in Slytherin because of my houses involvement in the war. No Slytherin would want to stand up for anything typically pureblood.

The reactions from the other houses seemed to be a lot more skeptical. While they also respected Hermione and Harry very much, so did they with Ron, and they were much more inclined than the Gryffindors to believe Ron could be right to some extent and that Hermione and Harry were simply misguided in their reception of me. I guess I could not really blame them as I had not exactly been nice towards them in the past.

The teachers reactions were much more guided, but I could tell that even they were too stunned to react to this situation accordingly. After all, it had taken McGonagall, who was usually very composed, up to now to react.

Trying to regain some sort of authority for the teachers, Ms. McGonagall called: "10 Points from both Gryffindor and Slytherin, public displays of affection are forbidden in the great hall. Aside from that, I think congratulations are in place. It was about time somebody skipped the barrier between Gryffindors and Slytherins." That said, she sat back down again, seemingly completely untouched by the events playing out in front of her, absolutely calm once again, despite her previous stupor. I was just about to turn about when Hermione grabbed my hand and dragged me out of the dining hall. We were already up several stairways before I had a chance to ask:

"Where the fuck are we going?"

"My room. You are certainly not going to do something like that to me and leave me all high and dry. If I'm going to die of mortification, and I was quite close to that down there, I will at least die in bliss", she said, leaving me completely stunned. It always amazed me how this usually so calm and collected girl sometimes could be so blatant. Not only did it surprise me, but it also turned me on tremendously.

Lucky for us, nobody was in the common room to question us about why we were running up to Hermione's room in broad daylight in such desperation. It would not really have been a question at all, honestly.

Hermione

"Now, any ideas as to how to get you out of this room without making it absolutely obvious what we've been doing up here?" I certainly had no intention of walking through the common room sprouting an I-just-got-laid look, nor did I want to hear the lewd comments and wolf whistles that were bound to come with it.

"How should I know?", Pansy asked me with a grin that was absolutely typical Slytherin with an added grain of 'I just had some awesome sex and cannot be bothered by anything right now' thrown in. "Besides, you were the one who dragged me in here without wasting a thought on anything else but how to get your rocks off."

"That's totally your fault", I declared huffily, only causing her smirk to widen.

"You know", she said, her voice yet again taking on that silky quality that was so inexplicably sexy, "you are totally hot when you're moping like that."

"I am not moping", I said, crossing my arms over my chest, already knowing a moment later that the crossed arms and the pout I just knew was gracing my face right now were doing nothing to proof my point. The only think it resulted in was that my girlfriend started to giggle.

"You're so cute." I glared at her. "See, cute!", she said, grinning at me.

"I'll show you cute!", I shot at her, before launching myself atop her and biting down on her neck forcefully, eliciting a low, languid moan from her that soon started to grow in intensity.

"Not so cute anymore, huh?", I teased her lightly.

I did not get an answer, only two arms that grabbed me to pull me into yet another passionate kiss.
