You Cleaned
Hermione closed her office door behind her after a particularly long and trying day full of complaints, meetings and fighting tooth and nail to ensure her latest piece of innovative legislation was passed.
She sighed heavily as she thought of the mountain of housework that awaited her at home. It was a task that she was not looking forward to in the least, but if she didn't do it then it would never get done. The last time she had seen her husband do anything remotely associated with cleaning was back when he was attempting to impress her parents shortly before they got engaged which was some seven years ago.
Hermione bid farewell to the few people still at the office before apparating home.
The first thing that stuck the witch as soon as her feet touched the ground in the living room was how fragrant it smelled. A smile crept onto her lips as ambled through the house to find her husband in the kitchen
"You cleaned," Hermione smiled fondly as she took in the sight of the kitchen with a smile. "And it's spotless. Thank you."
Her husband grinned at her. "Always the tone of surprise," he chuckled.
