Gohan smiled as he continued his rounds, it had been nearly a week since Hermione had asked him to train her. He was happy to say that the girl could make almost a complete lap around the quidditch pitch without collapsing, more than that though the girl now knew how to properly throw a punch. Gohan had figured out rather quickly though that training in the morning wasn't going to work, so instead they now trained for an hour each night, after which Hermione would retreat to her dormitory to sleep.

Gohan sighed as his mind wandered to the other major incident that had happened that week, Sirius Black had somehow managed to sneak into the castle and make his way all the way up to the Gryffindor tower. After Dumbledore had moved all the students to the great hall he had instructed all the teachers to search the grounds for Black. Gohan had spent the entire night searching fruitlessly for the convict. The next morning had found him slumped in the teacher's lounge surrounded by his fellow staff members.

"Any luck Gohan" Remus asked, Gohan could only shake his head in the negative.

"So nice to know that he's here to protect us." Snape deadpanned as he glared at the young saiyan, his statement caused many of the other teachers to stare at the potions master with looks of anger.

"Now Severus, Sirius did manage to sneak past all of us" Dumbledore reminded calmly, his gently blue eyes staring intently at the obviously downtrodden saiyan.

"Gohan if you would be so kind as to follow me to my office." Albus stated as he left the teachers' lounge, Gohan following not far behind. It didn't take long for the two to reach the headmasters office, Albus was quick to claim his usual seat, before gesturing for Gohan to take one of the others. So with a weary sigh Gohan slumped almost dejectedly into the opposite chair.

"Gohan I didn't call you here so that I could lecture you." Albus stated, causing the boy's head to shoot up to stare at the headmaster somewhat shocked.

"Like I said in the lounge, Sirius Black managed to sneak past all of us. The reason I asked you here, is to ask a potentially unpleasant favor of you" Albus said as he looked at the young man.

"What is it headmaster?" Gohan asked unsure what the older man could want.

"I am aware that young Miss Granger, has asked you to train her in martial arts." Albus stated as he looked at the younger man.

"Is that a problem" Gohan asked unsure whether he was supposed to train her or not.

"It's quite alright; I'm merely curious how you felt about teaching?" Albus asked a small twinkle in his blue eyes.

"I haven't been training her for very long, so I'm not entirely sure" Gohan stated unconsciously rubbing the back of his head with the son family grin on his face. Albus couldn't help but to smile at Gohan as he looked at the young man.

"Well that's quite alright, perhaps we'll discuss this more later in the year." Albus stated, before signaling that Gohan was dismissed. The young saiyan was mere feet from the door when a thought accord to him.

"Um Headmaster" Gohan started while looking back at the much older man.

"Yes Gohan" Albus responded

"I was just curious if witches and wizards could use KI" Gohan asked as he looked at the old man. Albus couldn't help but to look back at Gohan in slight shock at first before a small almost sad smile split his face.

"Unfortunately Gohan, witches and wizards are unable to harness KI." Dumbledore stated looking directly at Gohan. The young saiyan simply nodded before he turned and left the office, to begin his rounds.

That had been three days ago, and Gohan had done his best to monitor the entire school, but the fact was that with so many people clumped together it was hard for the young saiyan to separate them all.

Without realizing where he was going Gohan found himself at the ladder leading up to the divination classroom, Hermione had been more than willing to tell the young saiyan just what she thought of the class. So deciding that he should probably meet the teacher that had angered the usually studious girl so much that she dropped the class, Gohan easily levitated himself up and through the trap door.

The room was much like Hermione described it; the walls were covered with shawls and candles, while the students sat at dozens of small round tables, but the strangest sight in the classroom was the teacher a relatively tall woman with frizzy dirty blonde hair, and a pair of glasses that made her eyes appear almost twice their natural size. Hermione had made sure to tell Gohan just what she thought of the teacher, the young saiyan was just about to leave until a shrill voice split the air.

"Beware the duo of blue, for they will release the being that will try and control time" Trelawney's voice had an eerie ring to it. Gohan's head twisted so fast that one would be surprised he didn't get whiplash, the boys eyes locked onto the woman's seemingly vacant eyes. It was only for a few seconds until her eyes refocused and the women looked around somewhat confused. Gohan was quick to turn and leave the room unsure it what the woman had just said was an actual prophesy or not.

The rest of the day passed quickly for the boy, and before he knew it Gohan and Hermione were at the quidditch pitch. Gohan was about to suggest that Hermione begin her lap when the bushy haired girl interrupted him.

"Gohan I just wanted to say thank you" Hermione started surprising the young saiyan.

"For what Hermione?" Gohan asked somewhat confused

"For agreeing to train me" Hermione stated

"Oh you're welcome" Gohan said with the Son grin

"And for saving me in Diagon alley" Hermione said, a small smile on her face, which only grew when she saw the shocked look on Gohan's face. Gohan was considering denying it, before deciding against it.

"How did you figure it out" Gohan asked.

"During the quidditch match, when the dementor's had you surrounded you changed. After that it was easy to figure out." Hermione stated in a matter of fact way. Gohan couldn't help but to nod as he heard the answer.

"Um have you told anybody else about this" Gohan asked, a hint of fear in his voice.

"No not yet, but I want to tell Harry and Ron." Hermione stated, Gohan understood in an instant, he wasn't going to blame the girl for not wanting to lie to her friends.

"Okay, so anyway shall we start training" Gohan stated as he turned only for Hermione's voice to stop him again.

"You were at the Cell games to weren't you?" Hermione asked, Gohan sighed as he turned to look at the girl.

"Yeah I was" Gohan stated, Hermione couldn't help but to grin as she looked at Gohan excitedly, the girl was about to ask Gohan a slew of questions until Gohan cut her off.

"I don't really like to talk about that day." Gohan finished as he started to run.

That night and the rest of the week passed quickly for Gohan and before the young man realized it was the last Saturday before the students left for Christmas break, which meant that it was the final trip to Hogsmeade, before the New Year.

Gohan had been planning to keep watch over the castle that day, until Dumbledore had entered his room and politely suggested that Gohan visit Hogsmeade himself. So now Gohan found himself walking through the snow towards Hogsmeade, deciding that this would be a good place to get all his Christmas shopping done, Gohan began searching through windows, only to realize that he had absolutely no idea where to get the items that he wanted. Knowing that at least two of his friends were here in Hogsmeade Gohan quickly began searching out their KI signatures, before heading their way.

It didn't take long for Gohan to see Hermione and Ron, but as his eyes landed on the two and how close together they were standing, he couldn't help the strange mix of feelings that welled up in his chest. Unsure of what was going on with him, Gohan was quick to turn on his heel and leave. Unaware that if he had remained there for a little longer he would have seen Harry make a fool out of Malfoy.

The young saiyan spent the rest of the day traveling around the village, he picked up a number of gifts, as well as sweets before heading back to the castle, all his purchases sealed in one of his capsules.

Still unsure of the feelings that had refused to leave him since he had seen Hermione and Ron together, Gohan decided to skip dinner and begin a brutal training session, all the while attempting to purge himself of the mix of sorrow and anger. But no matter how hard he tried nothing seemed to make the feelings fade. The young saiyan trained long into the night, until at nearly one am he finally called it a night, and returned to his room, only to fall into a restless sleep.

The next day found many of the teachers leading the students that would be returning home for the holidays down to the Hogwarts express. Gohan was among the teachers that were monitoring the students; the saiyan was planning to leave for Capsule Corp. shortly after the train left the station, intending to fly there perhaps he'd call the flying nimbus. Gohan sighed as he saw Harry, Ron, and Hermione nearing the front, he still wasn't sure about the feelings that had been stirred up yesterday but knowing that it wasn't their fault Gohan smiled as he walked towards them.

"Morning guys" Gohan said

"Morning Gohan" the three replied as they continued to walk towards the Hogwarts express, Hermione talking excitedly about the Capsule Corp. Christmas party that they'd be attending in a few days. The walk was to short in Gohan's opinion and before they knew it the three were getting ready to board the train, Gohan was just about to say goodbye until Hermione grabbed him and yanked him to the side.

"Gohan, I was planning on telling Harry and Ron about you being the boy from the Cell games on the train ride back to London" the bushy haired girl stated as she looked at Gohan. Knowing that it must have bothered Hermione to keep this a secret from Harry and Ron for as long as she had Gohan couldn't help but to smile at her.

"Okay" Gohan said nonchalantly, the young man was about to lead Hermione back to the train when the girl threw her arms around his neck in a hug. Only to pull away mere seconds later a blush decorating her face, then with a quick wave Hermione took off up the step and into the Hogwarts express.

Unsure what exactly had just happened Gohan couldn't help but to turn and walked back towards the castle in a daze, unaware of the large smile that had split his face. By the time Gohan came out of his daze the young saiyan was standing at the edge of the forbidden forest. Deciding that this was as good a place as any Gohan looked towards the sky,

"Flying Nimbus!" Gohan yelled, and then he waited keeping a steady eye on the clouds, it wasn't long until he noticed a small yellow cloud flying towards him, only to come to a halt mere inches in front of him. Gohan couldn't help but to smile as he jumped onto his father's old cloud.

"Now Nimbus, to Capsule Corp" Gohan proclaimed with a large smile, on his face as the cloud quickly took off into the sky.
