Sorry these are so short, I'm kinda just going off the top of my head, but I know these will get longer as I go. Thanks for all the follows recently! I didn't think this would get popular. You guys are the best!

Luckily the flag over Chloe's window blocked the early morning sun, leaving them to wake on their own. Normally, the two would sleep into the afternoon on a weekend since Rachel had to school, but today, Chloe's phone would buzz, vibrating beneath her pillow. She'd groan, rolling over onto her stomach and reaching beneath it to turn off her alarm. She made sure to never use the sound since most of the time, Rach would be dead from the night before of partying. Stretching her arms until her blue painted fingertips touched the wall, then relaxed, letting her eyes adjust to her room which was filled with the dull glow of the sun as it tried to shine through the flag.

A few moments of silence would pass before Chloe decided to roll over and hopefully get a few more minutes of snuggling with Rach before having to get up. She turned over with a smile ready as her eyes moved over to her sleeping angels face, but suddenly stopped, her smile fading away. There was something wrong and Chloe was immediately concerned. Her eyes scanned over the blonde, worry beginning to fill her mind. 'What..?' She thought to herself as she tried to concentrate on every part of the other girl's face, 'Why don't I feel right... Rachel...'

"You're in a rush this morning, proud of you," Joyce was in the middle of clipping her hair up, preparing for another day at the diner when she noticed something was off, "Are you okay, hun?" Chloe seemed like a zombie to her mother, her eyes blank and seeming to zone off to some far away place, "Chloe, talk to me," Her daughter finally snapped out of her head and pulled on her jacket, nodding.

"Yeah, mom, I'm fine, just hella early," Knowing fully well she was lying, Joyce nodded back, letting her get away with whatever was going on, at least for now, "Well, get on out of here then, you don't need to be late for another interview. I'll make sure Rachel gets fed," Her mother chuckled, though Chloe didn't respond with anything more than a small smile before heading out the door.

Approaching her beat up truck in the drive way, Chloe would pull open the unlocked door and get in, only to sit with her hands on the wheel and stare up at her bedroom window. She'd sigh and shake her head, putting the key in the ignition and start up the rust bucket, quickly pulling out of the driveway before her thoughts would get the best of her.
