The Dark Room

A dark room engulfs my person

Fright is my only companion

Every step, a step of shifting sand

I can only demand

For light, I shout

The bird of sound flies about

There are no walls

At least none within

The length of my extended appendage

There are nothing but one

The speaker of these words

Garden's Nightmare

An abandoned cottage became overgrown

All became invisible to green

The only evidence of existence

The only trace of being

Is a small lot

Though now a blot

There once was beauty

Once a color of red and yellow bright

Now a mineral of black and white

Fate's hand guides us all

The being guided me to this cursed place

Entering was beyond ones self

The sight turns you to color lost

Turned, I did

Left and right

Death lay on this land like morning dew

No hope exists in a place of comparison

Just a nightmare

My Ravens

Ravens are birds

There is no word

That can describe

Their impression

No need for action

For years

My life spent under

Their wing of darkness

My life a mess

I slept and ate

With their heavy bait

I am now at

The thin line of

Life's gift

Immobile and unswift

My bones

Made of glass

Times pass

Birds mass

I hear a chime

My body is no longer mine

A Lone Tree

A lone tree inhabited the hill

A lone tree without green

A lone tree, a brick house

Trees of fair stir to the wind

A las, this lone tree does not stir

No nest or nook or knot

All lives consumed by this lone tree

There is only one path of safety

Let the lone tree be

Mask of Hallow Evening

Hallow evening is my night of fear

For the mask comes out to scare

There is no blame to be passed

For none will last

The mask of the mind thieve

Colors of bright details marks

Yellow moons are prominent

To the marrow of ones shell

Its heart is the frame

Though not so lame

Peaks protrudes outwards

In hope of snagging

The next hopeless portrait

It's never snared my portrait

However, we are aware

The mask never misses

My frail sight

One in a year

That is all it needs
