A/N: So, this is M:I from Jack's Point of view. Hope you enjoy. Read and review.

~:::~

Jack grinned and pulled over his hood, trying to keep out of everyone's sight. His hand went inside his pocket and he fingered what was inside. He really hoped everything worked out, and that he could get this done today. It was pretty early in the morning, but Jack wanted plenty of time for him to get in and get out... especially if he wanted to do it unseen.

He gently floated down the hall, making sure not to move to quickly to make a wind breeze, as well as not hitting anything with his staff, so frost would form.

When he reached his destination, he swiftly looked around, making sure that no one was around.

He smirked when all he saw were empty hallways. It was perfect.

Jack entered the room, and locked the door behind him. It would do him no good to get caught after getting this far. When he turned, he couldn't stop the gasp that came out of his mouth.

The room was impressive. The equipment was... awesome! Jack completely forgot why he was there in the first place, and jumped forwards, ready to play around with all the stuff that was in here. It looked really cool, and didn't seem like it belonged in this day an aged. Everything seemed faster, sleeker, more... cooler.

At that thought, Jack brought the cassette tape that he had in his pocket. He looked down at in, then back up at North's equipment. Would this thing even work in here? Oh no... Jack would not leave this room till he got the tape set up!

And so his search began.

Jack was glad he came so early... it took him almost an hour to find the right device that could take the cassette tape and play the music. When he did, though, he was quite pleased with himself.

The Spirit of Winter took a look at his work, and nodded in satisfaction. He looked up at the clock that was on the wall and noticed the time.

7:52 AM

Jack smirked. Perfect. He thought. He unlocked the door, and quickly pushed play on one of the tape players. Music was sent throughout the entire pole, and Jack smiled once more before he left the room.

Just outside the door, he stood, and gathered his energies. A light blue glow surrounded him, and Jack slammed his staff down on the floor. He heard a cracking sound as his ice spread up the wall, covering the door completely. It should take almost all day for the yetis to get through that.

He was just about to leave when he suddenly remembered the finishing touch. Reaching into his pocket, he brought out the final part of this whole set up.

He placed the slip of paper on the ice, and stared at it, wondering if it was a good enough note.

At 0900 hours, the North Pole Workshop will be breached.

I suggest you use what little time you have to prepare wisely.

I'll even give you the advantage of no flying on my part.

There is no stopping me this time.

-Jack Frost

He looked at it, and felt like something was missing...

Jack smirked and added a final line to the message.

This message will freeze in 5 seconds..

He placed a small snowflake in the corner, ready to have it grow and cover the entire paper at a later time.

Just as he was about to leave, he heard voices. Yeti ones.

He jumped into the air, and shot off, not wanting to be in the area when the yetis saw all the ice and what he had done.

On his way out, he tried to think of where he could wait until 9:00 am. It was only an hour away, but he didn't want to just hang around the snowy regions of the north pole... maybe he could go visit Comet...

:::

A bell rang out from inside the North pole. Jack looked on from a cliff, waiting... Right when he heard it, he smirked.

Let the games begin.

:::

Jack ran through the halls, trying to keep up a good pace. He knew that, without flying, he would run out of energy quicker if he didn't watch himself. It was a whole new type of game when he was just using his own two feet.

The sound of approaching footsteps made Jack pause in his steps. He turned his head, listening to where they were coming from. With the North Pole being so big, sound traveled differently, and sometimes it made it hard to tell from which direction something was coming from.

Jack looked down the hall on the left, staring intently. Normally, he would listen to the wind as howled in his ear, whispering to him and helping him out as he flew. Now, though... the halls seemed silent, except for the pounding of feet that was ever coming closer.

For a moment, Jack became distracted from his game. He just stood there, listening to the sounds of the Pole. It was quite an experience, and Jack needed to do it more often. Footsteps above him, footsteps below him. Now that he stood still, he could feel the vibrations on the floorboards. Jack placed a hand on the wall, and smiled when he felt the same thing from the wall.

He could feel it. There was a yeti walking in the hallway beneath him, one level down. He also thought that there might be a few elves running on the floor above, a bit south from the hall Jack was currently in. The footsteps were too light for the yetis, and there were more of them closer together. The elves always seemed to travel in little groups. Jack turned to listen again, and thought he could hear a growl of a yeti from farther away.

The growl called out again, and Jack frowned. That sounded a lot closer.

A final growl brought Jack out of his thoughts, and he turned to find a yeti coming straight at him. The winter spirit panicked and jumped in surprise. He tried to make some frost under the yeti's feet. It worked... sort of. Jack hadn't focused completely, and it cause the ice to become extra thick and slippery. It wasn't a big patch, but the yeti came crashing down. Jack winched when he heard the 'thud' sound as he hit the floor.

Okay, okay... focus! He told himself.

He was about to run off, to create more distance between him and the yeti, and to head to the workshop and scout out what was there, but a static sound stopped him. He looked back at the yeti and saw that he had a radio with him, right next to a brown band around his waist. Jack quickly, but quietly went over to him. For a moment, he just listened to the channel on the radio, as each yeti gave reports of their locations and whether or not they had seen him.

Jack smiled as an idea came to him. He unclipped the comm. unit from the yeti, and grabbed it. When he heard the yeti groan, he realized that now was the time to get out of here. He jumped to his feet and shot off, not wanting to be in the area when the guy woke up.

He was almost to one of the other wings when North appeared at one of the corners. The winter spirit stifled yelp of surprised, and dove for cover around another turn. He held his breath, waiting for the Russian to call out in surprise or anger or something.

Nope.

North continued walking down the hall, not a change in pace. He must have not seen him.

Jack let out his breathe, and sighed in relief. He waited a few minuets, and listened for North to move on to another corridor. Jack smiled as he realized that North was heading towards where he had just come from, where the yeti was. Okay, that wasn't the best thing, since he might see the yeti collapsed on the ground, but Jack had been able to tell where North was heading. He knew how the sound traveled here.

It was completely different from the wind's whisperings, and he much preferred his friend telling him its secrets, but at least he could get through the game without it.

Jack looked around the corner, and saw North's back, walking away from him. He slowly stood up, trying to be as silent as possible. He then turned away from North, and headed out in a different direction. He decided to get to the lower levels, to make sure he didn't run into North again, or the Brown yeti.

He kept the channel open, listening to the yetis, and trying to figure out which area would be the safest and easiest for him to get through to the workshop. One particular yeti called out to Gold Leader. Jack discovered that that one was Phil. He had to smile at that. Phil would be the one running this show. That's what made him such a good head-yeti. He naturally took command, and others naturally followed him.

Jack listened as a Yellow 7 reported that Brown 2 had lost his comm. Unit. He smirked when he heard the yetis worried replies.

He ran down the halls, trying not to laugh. This was, by far, the best part of the day. He would know their every move! He turned a corner and found a yeti right there. He yelped and dived for the next turn, letting out a cheerful "Wrong turn!" as he headed towards the stairs, knowing that even if the yeti followed him, he would be slowed down by the steps.

Jack grabbed the railing and slid down it, adding a bit of ice to make it more slick for him. When he reached the end of the railing, he jumped off and soared He almost felt as though he were flying again. The moment made him regret keeping to the ground. Flying was awesome! But... it did give an unfair advantage to him during the chase...

He continued running, and came closer to where he heard some yetis were. One was coming close to him, so Jack ducked into a room, and closed it till only a slit remained. He peaked out and waited as the yeti passed him by. He then slipped out again, and headed in the direction the yeti had come from.

He got down a couple of hallways without seeing a yeti, but them he came upon two. They were just chatting with each other, enjoying the break away from their normal routine. Jack caught sight of two bands of green around them, so they were obviously part of the game, they just weren't taking it as seriously as some others...

Jack thought for a moment, trying to get around them, when he came up with an idea.

He formed a small stone of ice in his hands then threw it down the hall. It hit the walls and floor, rolling away. It wasn't a loud sound but it did the job. Both yetis immediately shot up and looked towards where the sound came from. While they were distracted, Jack leaped up and shot down the hall, keeping his footsteps quiet. He looked back down the hall were the two yetis had resumed talking to each other. Are you kidding? I didn't think that would actually work... Jack chuckled to himself.

He brought up the radio as he heard it come to life. A yeti growled out something. It was the yeti from the top of the stairs that had chased Jack down here. "Gold Leader, this is White Leader, I had a visual of the target. He is heading towards the lower levels of the North-East Wing. Have Green Team standing by to interfere"

Jack looked at the radio with an amused expression on his face. Man, that guy was slow to report. Maybe the elves had held him up? Eh, who knew, but Jack did know one thing. Green Team was long behind him.

He brought the radio up and decided to give his own report of the situation. "Gold Leader, White Leader, this is Blue Leader..." If they were going to use color code-names, Jack would gladly play along. They had already called him Blue... and he, of course, was the leader... who would be his followers? He shook the thought away for now, and decided to finish off his report to Phil. "Dispatch of the Green Team is not needed. I've already passed by them and am heading towards the location of the Red Team. I suggest you come up with a different plan." He couldn't help but let out a laugh as he imagined Phil's when he heard his voice over the radio.

He shut off the comm. unit, and continued on his same path. He had no clue where the Red Team was stationed, so he had no idea if he actually was heading towards them, but what ever. A yeti would probably catch sight of him soon, and that would correct any mistake he made in his whereabouts.

Phil's voice came over the radio, and Jack paused to listen to it. "Black Team, prepare to engage We are going to push him into your area. Make sure you keep him there."

Okay... now he regrets not knowing where each team was stationed. How was he supposed to know where not to be pushed into? What if, while trying not to be drawn to the black area, he was doing just that? Ugh! He needed a map... though that would probably confuse him more. This whole place was huge! And it'd just be another thing he needed to keep track of in this game.

Oh! Idea! He'd just try and stay in the same area, that way they couldn't make him go anywhere... not that that would help at all, he needed to get to the workshop. That was the whole point of this thing.

Jack came across a stairwell, and decided to go back up to the higher floor. He liked it better up there. He brought up his radio, determined to at least cause a bit of trouble for Phil and the yetis. "Scratch my last comment, I think I'll stay right here." He said, almost tempted to do just that. He needed a break... With all the yetis around, looking just for him, it made his heart pound when ever he saw anything.

Something caught his eye, and he saw a yeti. The guy was just leaning against the wall, almost looking like he was asleep. "Oh, by the way, I have a visual of White 3. He is lazing about, and should be dealt with accordingly."

From where he was standing, Jack could see the instant when the yeti heard the comment. He was up in a flash, and his eyes were darting everywhere. Jack laughed at the sight, and knew he had to do that more often. Dang, the yetis were almost as jumpy as he was.

His thoughts and the startled yeti almost made him miss the newest report to the radio.

"Gold Leader! White 9 here. Blue is in the vicinity of White 3, I have a visual."

Jack immediately stopped snickering, and looked around.

There!

He saw the yeti coming towards him, and Jack had to bolt.

Right when he turned a corner, though, he saw Phil. An excited panic-like feeling filled him, and he was frozen for a moment. It was only when Phil let out, what could only be described as an 'evil' chuckle, was Jack able to move again. His first thought was how awesome that laugh had sounded... his second one was that he should probably get away now.

The winter spirit jumped into action, and started heading right towards Phil. It through the yeti off, but he quickly got ready to block the kid.

Jack, for his part, bent his legs and got ready to leap over the yeti.

Phil immediately knew what Jack was trying to do, so just before Jack threw himself into the air, Phil jumped, ready to catch him and bring this to an end.

When he only grabbed thin air, he glanced behind him to see that Jack had gotten passed him somehow. Phil landed on the ground with a thud, too surprised to catch himself from falling.

It was in that moment that Phil realized what Jack had done. Instead of jumping upwards, the boy had pushed himself forwards and bolted underneath his feet, making it so he could easily continue on.

Phil shook his head with a small laugh, and got up. Looks like this wouldn't end that easily...

:::

Jack ran down a couple of halls, often doubling back, and going up to different levels only to return back down again. Only when he was sure he had lost Phil from his tail did Jack slow down. He looked around, pretty sure that none of the yetis knew where he was right now.

Hmmm... why not make them even more confused?

"Blue Leader here. I'm checking out the Purple Team on the upper floors, and I gotta say... lookin' good." Jack smirked when he thought of the entire team snapping to attention and looking around from him even when he was no where near them. He knew that that team was at least on the higher floor... but that was about it... wait, wasn't the Brown team right below them?

"Ah, never mind. The Brown Team looks more organized."

jack continued walking through the halls, enjoying himself far to much with his fack comments. He especially loved it when he said something about the yellow team, and the one Jack could see just gave a sigh, not even bothering to look around. If he had, the yeti wouldn't noticed him walking past, not worried what so ever. Ha! It was great.

He became distracted by the radio, that he didn't even noticed another yeti had spotted him till it came up on the comm.

"Red 4 to Gold Leader, I have a visual."

That was when Jack snapped his attention back to where he was now. He let out a surprised yell as he jumped out of the Red 4 yeti's reach. He made made a swipe at him, but Jack had skillfully dodged. Now he was running, trying to lose him.

Jack turned a corner, and was going to create a small patch of ice right there, hoping to buy himself more time, but when he saw that another yeti was heading his way, he stopped. There were only two ways to go. Forwards, and back... and now they were both blocked as yetis came at him from either way.

Jack looked down the hall, around the corner, and saw the yeti still coming. Jack thought for a moent, then took a couple steps back, trying to get the position just right. He'd had to be quick if this were to work, but he felt confident that he could do it.

Neither yeti knew the other was there. Just as the one yeti was just about to turn the corner, and just as the other one reached out to grab Jack, the winter spirit leaped to the side, and hit the wall non too gracefully.

A slight pain came to his shoulder where he hit it too hard, but when he heard the two yetis collide into each other, he knew that that... had to have hurt.

He winched slightly as the two groaned then gave glares at Jack. They tried to get up, but ended up only tangling themselves together. Jack was tempted to stay a bit longer, to watch them get out of that mess, but he decided to use this time to get away from any of the yetis. It looked like he couldn't go towards the workshop this way... Jack started running again, hoping to find another entrance that wasn't near any yetis that might want to get there hands on Jack... and not just because of the game either.

Jack, as he ran through the halls, brought the radio up, ready to cause more mischief, but static filled it and someone else started talking. Phil.

"Orange Team,"

Orange Team? Jack hadn't thought there was an Orange Team...

"Run a tracking program on the Comm unit of Brown 2. We'll corner him."

Brown 2? As in the Brown yeti whose radio he took? As in the very radio he was holding in his hands that he now knew could tell Phil exactly where he was?

It took about a second for Jack's mind to warp around the fact that they could do that. It was only after that had he looked at the thing in horror. 'WHAT?!" He cried out, not noticing that he still had it on.

He had to get rid of it... but how? If he just let it lying around, then they would know where he was, or at least where he would have been. What if they already knew where he was? There was probably a bunch of yetis heading towards him right now!

A small jingle sounded to his left, and Jack swiftly turned around, thinking it would be a yeti. The radio slipped from his fingers and was smashed against the wall. Jack looked back at it and hoped it wasn't a big deal that he'd just done that.

Another jingle sounded, and Jack turned back, and noticed that it wasn't yetis, but elves. There were a few gathered there, peeking around the corner at Jack. Some where smiling, but most had a curious look on their face.

"Oh, hey little guys." Jack smiled, a bit relieved.

They took that as an invitation to come closer to him.

As Jack looked at them, and idea came to him. North was still roaming around the halls, probably wondering what the heck was going on... Phil wouldn't tell him they were looking for Jack... he wasn't even supposed to be here...

The winter spirits eyes lit up with excitement. "Do you want to play a game?"

They eagerly stepped up, pointed to themselves, agreeing to play with Jack. To them, there was nothing better then having fun with him.

Jack leaned down and whispered his idea to them. They each gained a mischievous glint in their eyes, but one seemed a bit worried.

"What?" Jack asked, wondering what was wrong.

It grabbed at the hat that covered it's entire body, and pointed to it, then at Jack's blue jacket.

"Right... we need paint..." Jack mumbled, then gave a glance at the elves.

"You guys wouldn't happen to know where some is, would you?"

Oh, the yetis should be fearful now. The look the elves had in their eyes basically scream out trouble for them. They nodded and some turned away to start getting ready. As they left, Jack called out to them.

"Keep out of the yetis sights... actually, how about if I drawn them away from you as you get the stuff?"

They all jumped and jingled their bells in agreement.

Jack smiled and stood up. This would be good, and he really felt the elves were glad to be a part of this whole thing.

Now... how to gather all the yetis so the elves could do what they wanted...

:::

Jack ran across the hall, not bothering to keep out of sight. The whole point of things right now was to get their attention.

A yeti got close enough to almost grab him, but Jack ducked quickly and was able to avoid being grabbed. He let out a laugh and stuck his tongue out at the yeti, then continued on his way to the globe room.

When he got there, he was on the middle floor. Already, the yetis were starting to block him off. The way he came from was blocked, and the 3rd exit from him had a yeti there already as well. None of them moved though, and he soon figure out why.

Phil was on the same level as he was. It seemed the big guy didn't want to take any chances. Even if Jack got past the 'Gold Leader', the exits were still going to be blocked.

He cast his eyes around, but it was no use... each way out of this room was guarded. Okay, maybe not the best of ideas...

He continued going around, keeping to the edge, and out of the yetis reach. He saw that Phil was coming ever closer, so he decided to bring out his secret weapon.

Reaching into his pocket, he brought out a small grapple and rope. He caught sight of Phil's face and watched as that smirk disappeared/ It reappeared on Jacks face as he started twirling the rope around, getting ready to throw it.

He got it hooked onto a rafter up above, he pulled tight on it, making sure it was safe.

Jack looked back at Phil as he heard the big guy call out a command.

"Get that upper floor blocked, NOW!"

Just as Phil was about to reach Jack, he smirked and stood up on the railing. He gave a mock solute to the yeti as he then fell backwards. The rope didn't let him fall much, but he swung enough to get him to the globe in the center of the room. It's lights shined underneath his feet, and Jack noticed ancient writing on it.

Hmmm. Wonder what it says?

He thought briefly, but he decided to ask Phil about it later, when he wasn't having the time of his life eluding the grasps of the yetis.

Jack tugged at the rope, and added more to it, making it so he could fall more. See, unlike what Phil seemed to think, Jack wasn't going up...

Nope, he was going down.

He looked towards Phil again, and then jumped.

Phil let out a cry of surprise and worry. It actually made Jack really happy to hear that. Even some of the other yetis let loose growls for his safety.

They thought he would get hurt... and were worried about him.

Jack smiled, and relaxed a bit as the ground came rushing up to him. The rope finally tightened around his waist, and Jack swung low, almost touching the ground. When he was able to, he landed in a roll, making it so he didn't hurt himself.

Jack took a moment to retrieve his rope and hook, stepping to the side as it clattered to the ground. He also gave a look towards Phil. Jack gave a wave to the yeti and then turned away, heading towards the workshop, maybe also hoping to run into some elves on the way.

When he got out of the yetis sight, he stopped and leaned against the wall. He released a deep breathe, and lifted up his jacket to look at the bright red burns on his stomach. He hissed in pain as a bit of his shirt touch it.

"Okay... maybe not the best of ideas." He mumbled as he brought up his hand to the rope burns.

The first instant his cold hand touched the burns, it stung... badly. But afterwords, it began to feel much better.

Jack slowly put his jacket down to cover the red skin, and tried to move a bit, hoping the wound wouldn't hurt too much if he walked or ran. After a couple of steps, he started jogging. Still nothing. They were fine.

He let out a relieved sigh, grateful that they wouldn't have to end the game early because of his carelessness and desire to want to swing from the rafters around the globe room.

He'd have to try that again, though. It was pretty fun.

Jack was about to head towards the workshop when he heard the familiar sound of bells. He turned to find an elf running towards him.

"Hey there. You guys get it?" He asked, recognizing it as one of the elves he had talked to before.

It nodded and smiled happily at Jack.

"Great. Did you find North?"

Another nod.

"Did he think you guys were 'blue'?"

A giggle came with this nod.

Jack laughed as well.

"Great job. I thought you guys might enjoy that. You didn't get into any trouble, did you?" He didn't' want the elves to pay for his idea, but he didn't really think Phil or any of the other yetis would get too mad at them for getting into the paints... they probably did it all the time in the workshop.

The elf shook his head, and smiled, happy to be able to have this much fun without the usual trouble arising. Normally, if they tried to get into to much mischief, the yetis were go grab this bottle of... what ever it was...

The elf's smiled suddenly widened, and he grabbed Jack's hoodie, trying to get his attention.

"What? Got another idea?"

Jack didn't' often see the elves trying so hard to get his attention, but normally, it led to something really fun.

The elf grabbed Jack's leg and pulled him towards a hall way, trying to tell him about the special bottle of... what ever, that the yetis used. Jack would love it.

Jack entered the room the elf led him to, and glanced around, making sure no yetis were there. Sure, most of the yetis were roaming the halls, but a few of them that weren't playing... well, they could be anywhere. If he got caught by those ones, he'd definitely be in trouble.

The room was empty, and the elf gleefully ran in. Jack looked around. It was one of the kitchens. He hadn't been in this one, but it was a really nice one, probably the main one. The room was huge. Jack thought about all the different treats made in here, and he suddenly got a strong desire to have some home-made yeti cooked deserts.

He walked over to cupboards and looked inside them, wondering if there were any cookies or treats in here that he could snack on. Before he could really get into searching, though, the elf came and tugged on his pant leg again.

The elf tapped his foot impatiently, and pointed to a different cupboard.

Jack opened it and found it held the odd things around the kitchen that weren't used for cooking.

He had no clue what he was supposed to be looking for in here. The elf encouraged Jack to look though.

"Uh, okay... but I have no clue what you want. I might pass it by, or it might not even be in here. Can this wait? Does this even have anything to do with the ga- Hello..." A certain small bottle caught Jack's eyes. He grabbed it, and pulled it out, making it so he could clearly read the small note attached to it.

" 'Do not breathe in. Uncork bottle in area of crazy elf antics. Keeps elves unconscious for one hour. (Enough time to gather them and lock them in a smaller room where they can't cause as much damage...) Keep out of range of elves.' "

Jack read the label again, then looked back at the elf.

"You want me to use this?"

The elf smiled and jingled it's bell.

"On the yetis? Are you even sure that will work? I mean, they're so much bigger than you guys, I would need to use most of the bottle. What about side effects?" Jack pointed out, not wanting to hurt the yetis in any way.

The elf shook it's head though, and pointed at the bottle again.

Jack reread the label, then turned it over, noticing another small note on the bottom.

" 'In some instances, use on North to calm him down and get him to rest for a few minuets during crazy Christmas rushes."

That made Jack feel a lot better. If they had used it on North before, and he was okay, then the yetis should be fine with it.

The elf gave a wave goodbye, and disappeared out the door.

Jack looked at the bottle one last time, then pocketed it, promising to return it after this.

:::

A batch of ice formed on the ground, and Jack easily got into a good skating pattern. He sped through the hall, creating a clear path of ice underneath his feet. He formed the path, and made it turn a corner. Before he could turn, though, a surprised growl sounded. It was quickly followed by a 'thud'

Jack peeked around the corner, and saw a yeti standing up. He looked up and saw Jack. Their eyes met, and Jack smirked.

He pulled the bottle out of his pocket, and used his other hand to bring his jacket up over his mouth.

"Good night." He said as he opened the bottle.

The yeti's eyes widened when he saw the bottle, instantly realizing what it was, but he still inhaled some. He tried to take a few steps forwards, to make a grab at Jack, but he ended up falling to the floor.

Jack stepped back in surprised, honestly not expecting it to work that quickly... then again, this was for elves, and if they were doing something the yetis didn't like... they needed to be stopped fast.

He was about to leave when he heard another yeti coming. He ducked away, but stayed close, knowing that he'd have to knock out this one as well, otherwise he would report to Phil.

He peeked around the corner, and watched as the yeti sniffed the air. Jack smirked as he realized he wouldn't have to use the bottle again. It was still in the air... though he would have be to careful not to inhale it himself. That would just be sad, to have gotten this far in the game, and have it end all because he had been careless.

He chuckled at that thought, then turned back to the yeti. He had just fallen to the ground like the one before had. Jack walked out and went near them, just to make sure they were really down for the count for a few minutes.

"Wow... that stuff is strong. I didn't think it'd do this much..."

He mumbled, bringing up the bottle to look at in once more. He had thought he'd have to use more... turns out he used too much.

"Sorry..." He apologized with a small laugh. Jack then headed off before any other yetis could come by.

After a few turns, he stopped and closed his eyes. In his head, a layout of the hallways and workshop door comes to him as he tries to figure out the best way for him to get there. He snaps his eyes open as he realizes that he's quite near one.

Only two turns later does he find himself facing the workshop door. It was a bit far down the hall... but there it was.

Jack smiled. This was it.

He started slow, taking small steps towards the door, but the more he took, the larger they got. He soon found himself running down the hall.

From a side hall, a yeti came out and reached for him. Ice formed almost instantly under Jack's feet and he slid, dodging the paws that were reaching for him. The yeti started running, catching up to Jack. They were side by side for a moment, and Jack stuck his tongue out at the yeti. He laughed when the gesture was returned.

The yeti made another grab for him, but Jack just turned sharply, going down another path. The yeti tried to follow, but he ended up slipping on Jack's icy path.

Jack turned back around and started going towards the door again.

Finally he reached it. That was when he heard a great roar come from behind him.

Jack turned his gaze back down the hall, and saw Phil standing there. The Winter Spirit smirked and gripped the handle.

The door was thrown open, and Jack felt the winds greet him.

He smiled, and was about to take a step forwards into the room.

That was when he noticed it... the mischievous air around him.

Normally, the wind would only feel this way when Jack had planned pranks or other trouble-making fun. Why did it feel this way now? He had just won... hadn't he?

The instant it started pulling at him, dragging him away from the door... that was when he realized what had happened.

"Wait, what?!" He exclaimed, reaching out his fingers to grab at anything he could to stop himself from being pulled by the wind.

There wasn't anything for him to get a good grip on. He scrabbled to keep on the ground... to get past the winds, but they seemed to laugh and only get stronger, lifting him up in to the air.

"No No No No!" He yelled as he lost his footing on the ground and was forcefully turned around to face Phil.

Oh! How he wanted to wipe that smug look on the yeti's face.

"No! You stupid wind! You're suppose to help me!"

Yeah... that did nothing, except get a good laugh from Phil.

Jack continued to try and flail around in the air, to get lose of the wind, but it was no use. He even tried to break free of Phil once the yeti got a hold of him... but that was the problem with these chases. Once Phil had him in his grasps, that yeti would not let him go till he was outside again.

"Not cool." He mumbled, not looking Phil in the eyes.

"I said I wouldn't use the wind... You can't go asking for it's help!" He complained to the yeti.

Jack hid a smile. Even though he felt cheated with the game... he felt fine with how it ended. He didn't need to get in the workshop right now. He would get the chance to see it at some point... probably with Phil right by his side. Deep down, though... he knew it wasn't time yet.

He smirked to himself. That didn't mean he wasn't going to try.
