Hello everyone I am back. Thank you for all the wonderful reviews on the last couple chapters. And Thank you for all the follows and favs and views. I'm so sorry it took so long to update but here is the new chapter, of the day little Emma was born. Enjoy :)

"Charming." He knew he heard his name being called but sleep was calling him as well and sleep was winning the fight. "Charming!" He heard again and that was when he won the battle and slowly opened his eyes. It was still dark, so he couldn't have slept in. Confused as to why he was being woken up he simply reached out his hand and found the other side of the bed empty. That's when Charming shot out of bed and looked around the room for the voice that was calling out his name.

"Snow?" He couldn't see her, and it didn't help that they had no candles or light from outside in their room. Once his eyes finally adjusted, Charming saw Snow leaning against a table, and he could hear her shallow breathing. "Snow?" He jumped out of bed and ran towards her. "What's the matter?" Charming lit a candle to give them light and he could see Snow's face scrunched up in pain. "Are you alright? Is the baby alright?" He was trying to hide the fear that was racing through his mind but he needed to focus on his wife.

"I think... I think she's fine." Snow managed to get out.

"You think? Snow what do you mean you think that she's alright?" He placed his hands on her belly and his eyes kept on switching from Snow's face to her stomach

"I think..." Snow took a moment to breath, "She's just decided that it's time to grace us with her presence." Snow calmed herself down, her panicked state from a couple minutes ago leaving as she tried to get herself in gear for what was about the happen.

"What?! Now?... She's not suppose to be here for a couple more weeks!" Charming exclaimed as he started to pace. He was trying to calm himself down and then he realized that he was scaring his wife. Charming shook his head trying to rid all that was running through his mind and decided to focus on his wife. Within second he was back at Snow's side and guiding her back to the bed. "Sit, sit." He instructed and was trying to figure out what to do next. "DOC!" He said all of a sudden and Snow furrowed her brows at her husband's sudden outburst.

"What?"

"Doc, I need to get Doc. Stay here, don't move. Keep her in there and I'll be right back." Charming ran out of the room without letting Snow reply.

Watching her husband panic and run out of the room made her laugh, but at the same time it didn't look like she had much control over her baby's actions. So Snow closed her eyes and rubbed her stomach, in her mind she repeated "You can do this. Do this for your baby girl."

When Charming ran back into the room, Snow's eyes were still closed but he could see that she was trying take deep breaths and that she wasn't asleep. Doc soon followed, short out of breath, and placed his instruments on the table. "So I've heard that we think the princess has decided that she would like to join us in the outside world." Doc saw Snow's eyes open and she smiled at him.

After Doc had asked Snow questions about what had been going on earlier in the night, and Charming freaking out because Snow didn't let him know that she was feeling contractions during dinner and before bed, he checked her. "Well, I would say that we should all hang on tight, this is going to be a long night." Doc smiled at Snow and looked towards Charming who was still getting over the pain from how hard Snow had squeezed his hand during the last contraction. "I'll be back a little later to check on you and so I can prepare everything for the arrival." Doc left but not before he reassured Charming that all would be fine and that this wasn't going to happen as soon as the new father thought.

Charming learned very quickly what Snow needed from him and what she didn't during this time. She didn't need him hovering over her and annoying her, but for poor Charming sometimes just being in the room annoyed his wife. Luckily for him, Charming had also learned that a cold towel against her head calmed her down a little and running his fingers through her hair helped her relax. It wasn't long till Doc was back and checking her again and informing the soon to be parents what to expect, once again.

Once Doc had left them again, letting Snow know she was almost there and telling her that he would be back soon, her husband sat next to her and let the very soon to be mother lean against his chest. Charming ran his finger's over her belly, but when she moved her body away from his touch he looked at her worriedly. "Sorry, my back is hurting." He let out a breath in relief, thankful that it wasn't him who has made her uncomfortable. With his worried looks Snow could only laugh at her husband in response. "You my love have to calm down. You would think that you were the one giving birth." She laughed at him a little more until another contraction hit her and Charming did what ever he could help her through it, which meant lending his wife his hand, to squash. Snow's grip was tight, but and sadly for him, he knew that this was going to be nothing compared to death grip she would have on his hand when she started pushing.

"Breath. Just breath." He repeated in her ear, trying to give her all the support she needed at the moment. "You're doing so well and not much more to go." Charming took a hold of Snow's hand (with the hand that she wasn't currently breaking) and ran his thumb softly across it until he saw Snow relax.

"Charming it hurts." She cried and he took her into his arms and he could feel the tears on his shoulder.

"I know, but just think, in a little while you'll be holding our baby. You are so strong Snow, you are doing so well, I don't think I could ever do this." Charming laughed as he felt Snow let out a little giggle.

"I would love to see that. You are such a baby when you have a simple cold, I wouldn't want to imagine what it would be like if the rolls were reversed." She looked up at her husband and then again her face scrunched up in pain as another contraction took over.

Doc was in the room, making sure that everything was ready all his instruments, to check the baby's health were all set up along side of each other. He could tell Snow was close and when ever he heard his friend cry or scream out in pain it broke his heart, but he was the doctor, he needed to stay strong for Snow and Charming.

When Snow let out another cry the dwarf walked back over to the bed and tried to give Snow a sincere smile. "I'm going to check you again." He informed her and she nodded her head, secretly hoping that this would be the last time and that she was ready to push. "Well, it seems like this princess doesn't want to wait." Both parents looked at him trying to understand, "Snow it's time to push." Doc went on and he could see both Charming and Snow smile at how close they were till they could hold their baby.

Charming was definitely right, he swore that his fingers were going to shatter into pieces and fall off with how hard Snow's hold was, but with every push and agonizing scream that Snow let out, he knew that she was going through something a million times more painful. He looked down at Snow, who was leaning on his chest for support. She was sweaty and crying but still he found her to be the most beautiful person in the world, so when Doc told Snow to rest for a moment Charming cupped her cheeks and smiled at her. "What?" She looked at him tired.

"You are the most amazing and beautiful person in this world. You are the one person in this world that I would want to be the mother of my children. I am so lucky to have you and I love you so much Snow." He could see her smile and he took that as a good sign and leaned in to kiss her quickly before the moment passed and she was pushing again.

In Snow's mind all she could let herself think of was that this was all worth it, that the pain that she was going through at the moment would be worth it to hold her baby girl in her arms. So when Charming gave her a nod when Doc told her to push again she mustered up the strength to keep on going. She could hear Doc inform her that the head was almost out, so she kept on going knowing that she was almost there, but it hurt so much. Knowing that Snow could use some encouragement, Doc told her one more push and then she could see her baby. It seemed to work because as she let out one last shrill cry, another cry, her daughter's cry took over the room.

"She's here. She's really here." Charming said in complete chock. His eyes never leaving his daughter who was still in Doc's arms. The new father grabbed a hold of of his wife's hand and gave it a kiss. Then he heard a sniffle and turned to look at Snow, her eyes filled with tears, and her smile reached her ears as she looked at her baby girl for the first time.

"Congratulations." Doc said with a proud smile, holding up the baby so the new parents could see clearer. He then looked at Snow who nodded and he took the new princess to be checked out.

It felt like forever but it was only a few minutes that Doc had taken Emma just to the other side of the room to inspect her. "Charming." Doc called the prince over. The new father gave a quick peck to Snow before running off to see his newborn princess.

That moment that Doc placed his little girl in his arms, would be forever melted into Charming's mind. The prince couldn't help but shed a few tears as she looked at the tiny bundle in his arms. And then he realized that it was up to him to walk back over to Snow, with the baby in his arms and he became terrified. What if he dropped her? She was so small and delicate. He felt that if he moved he would break her. But when Charming saw the look of longing in Snow's eyes, the desperation to have her daughter in her arms, it made him realize that he could do this. So very, very slowly he moved towards the bed.

It felt amazing being able to hand their daughter to her mother. To watch Snow's face as she was able to hold their child for the first time. "Hi Emma." Snow whispered as she placed a kiss on Emma's crown. "Welcome to the world." The new mother felt tears trickling down her cheeks and looked up to see her husband staring at both her and their daughter with so much love.

"She's perfect" Charming managed to get out between his own tears. To make sure that this was actually real and not a dream, Charming felt that he couldn't lose contact with his wife or daughter, so he simply placed one hand on the back of Emma's head and one atop of Snow's. "Happy birthday princess." He leaned down and placed a small kiss on his daughter's forehead. Charming felt Snow lean into him as they just watched their daughter.

Clearing Emma and assuring her parents that she was in perfect health, Doc left to leave the new parents alone, but not before both parents thanked him immensely for his help.

Charming, as much as he didn't want to, got up and went outside the bed chambers to inform some of the guards of what was to happen the rest of the night and to keep the princess' arrival to themselves for the moment. Once he was done with that, he closed the door and walked back over to lay next to his wife and daughter. "You were truly amazing." He whispered to Snow, still not breaking his eye contact from Emma in her mother's arms.

"Thank you." Snow turned her head up to face his.

"For what?" Charming smiled while slightly titling his head to one side..

"For her. She was definitely worth the pain." Charming could only think that he should be the one to be thanking her, she was the one who went through everything. Snow laughed as Emma let out a gurgle. "Hi baby girl. Your papa and I love you so much." Snow kissed her daughter's little button nose.

"We love you more than you will ever know." Charming was content, both his girls with him in his arms. "I've got the best girls in the world." Charming kissed the side of Snow's head.

That moment Emma decided to reach out and grabbed Snow's finger that was tracing the outline of her face, and curled up further into her mother. After a few seconds of just watching their daughter they saw Emma's eyes, her greenish blueish eyes, open and look up at them. "She really is perfect." Snow said as she let her husband give her a soft kiss.

"I guess it's time that sleepless nights begin and this little princess starts to takes over our lives." Charming looked to Snow and ran his finger's lightly over the small fuzz of light hair on Emma's head.

"Yeah but it's all worth it."
