Moulin Rouge

She pulled out the berries, "They need a victor right?" She asked him.

He pulled her into his arms before muttering, "What if they don't?"

"We'll just have to hope." She said softly.

He didn't let go of her. He only pulled away slightly taking her in one more time, "Never knew I could feel like this. Like I'd never seen the sky before. Want to vanish inside your kiss. Every day I love you more and more.

"Listen to my heart, can you hear it sings? Telling me to give you everything. Seasons may change, winter to spring, but I love you until the end of time." His sad expression was so sincere she almost allowed herself to decompose right there, even as he held onto her tightly.

"Come what may. Come what may. I will love you until my dying day."

He tried to pull away but she held on too tightly. He didn't try very hard to leave her arms as she now seemed to tremble slightly.

She studied his face, the last thing she'd see, "Suddenly the world seemed such a perfect place. Suddenly it moved with such a perfect grace. Suddenly my life didn't seem such a waste. It all revolves around you.

"And there's no mountain too high. No river too wide. Sing out this song and I'll be there by your side. Storm clouds may gather, and stars may collide. But I love you."

"I love you,"

"Until the end of time."

"Until the end of time."

"Come what may. Come what may. I will love you until my dying day." She tried to mutter one last I love you, but was unable to speak for that brief silence.

He filled it, "Oh, come what may, come what may. I will love you, Oh I will love you."

"Suddenly the world seemed such a perfect place." She pulled a bit farther away transferring some berries into his hand.

"Come what may. Come what may. I will love you until my dying day." And together they took their handfuls of berries. Until they heard a frantic shouting.

"Stop! Stop!" They'd won the day.
