The Doctor also found that he had a liking for blondes in this incarnation, almost more than he did in his tenth regeneration. It annoyed River to no end for the amount of arguments the two of them held about whether or not her hair could be classed as blonde and the unconscious amount of time he spent staring at blonde people as they went past, regardless of gender or race.

And he still had the attention span of a small child.

River had taken to dying her hair blonde in a bid to catch his attention for more than a few seconds before he was distracted yet another glimmer of blonde hair and was off like a child after a butterfly.

Sometimes it actually worked, though not often. Certainly not often enough for the hassle that was taming her mane of hair long enough to dye it.

Why couldn't he have simply amplified by obsession with ginger-hair?
