A/N: Thank you so much to everyone who's been following me on Tumblr! You guys are amazing! Here's your present! So The Doctor and Clara get their cocktails on the moon! YAY! Enjoy!

"How about those cocktails?"

The Doctor spun around, looking confused. "Cocktails?"

"Yeah. You promised me cocktails on the moon, mister. Don't think I'm letting you back out of that." She smirked. He pointed at her enthusiastically.

"Yes! That's right! Cocktails on the moon!" He pulled a lever and the ship jerked. "Who doesn't love cocktails on the moon? It's a thousand times better than margaritas on Mars!" She giggled as he ran out of the console room, only to reappear a few minutes later with a picnic basket. He gave a little smile. "Shall we?"

"Go on." She smiled. He grabbed her hand and they burst through the door. Clara was actually surprised that the Doctor got the location right this time. She remembered once when they were meant to go to the Ancient Lighting Ceremony of Tralabassus 4, a once in a lifetime event, and ended up missing it because they ended up landing in the middle of the Pluto by mistake. You can't even land us on a proper planet! She'd told him. Nevertheless, Clara never got tired of stepping onto new ground. She looked around as the whole of space surrounded them and saw beauty. "I'll never get tired of this."

"Good." He smiled down at her. "I never have either." She laughed. "D'you know, there are still a lot of places in the universe that I've never laid my eyes on?"

"Yeah?" He nodded. "What kind of places?" she asked curiously.

"Hundreds of them." He found a spot for them and they sat down, facing the Earthlight. "I've been meaning to visit this one planet called Kalia. It snows everyday there, never stops. And the skies? They're made up of every colour in the universe. In one area, it would be bright pink, and then you'd walk a mile or so, look up, and see a beautiful ocean green." He described passionately. "And it's completely uninhabited. Not a single life form for miles, just you and your thoughts." She watched him intently like a child listening to a bed time story, hanging on every word.

"It sounds beautiful. Can we go one day? Spend a whole day there? No saving civilisations. No chasing aliens or them chasing us. Just a whole day looking up at that sky?" she asked eagerly.

"Yeah." He smiled softly and took her hand. "If I was going to visit Kalia with anyone, I'd rather go with you." She giggled as they clinked their glasses. The Doctor looked at her curiously as she set her glass down and lay back on the moon's surface.

"It's beautiful, isn't it? Space? Some people think it's all just science and possibility, but it's not just that, is it? It's simply beautiful." He smiled at her and shook his head.

"Oh, Clara…" he muttered wonderfully.

"What?" she asked, sitting up.

"You know what I see when I look at you?" She shrugged her shoulders questioningly. "I see Kalia's skies." He whispered. "Every corner I turn, I see something different and new. Something beautiful. I may know who you are, but I'm still learning." She smiled brightly, making him smile in return. "You always seem to surprise me, Clara Oswald."

She smirked. "That's me. Always keeping you on your toes." She sat up, picking up her glass again. "Otherwise, there'd be nothing left to see."

"There's always something left to see. Especially when I'm with you."

I'm quite proud of this. Sorry it's short, though. I hope you liked it and I'd love you forever if you reviewed! Hearts! -Effy
