*I know it's been a while but I was in the middle of a cross country move. I've finally settled in and will be updating more frequently now!*
"Wake up Ana." I was being moved. When I tried to moved I felt unleveled and instinctively threw my arm out, hitting poor Christian in the cheek. He was carrying me. "Well hello to you too." He chuckled and put me down.
Our surroundings were surreal. The mountains were lush and green. The sky was bluer the clouds, as sparse as they were, were whiter. Even the air smelled cleaner than that of Seattle. I was frozen in full awe. "So beautiful." I mused.
"Sure is." I turned to Christian who was looking at me. I was wearing a sun dress and an over sized hat that Kate picked out.
I just giggled, oh Fifty Fifty Fifty.
"Mr. and Mrs. Grey I presume." A very tall very tan very attractive young man with an accent I didn't recognize and assumed to be Fijian. He looked like he was in his early twenty's. "I'm Lizan. I'll be available to you at any time if you need anything. A driver, restaurant suggestions-"
"Very nice to meet you Lizan. I'm Ana and this is my husband." I could feel Christians anger. I was staring a little but I've never seen anyone that looked like him before. He looked so exotic. His skin an olive color with a jaw line that could cut diamond. He was beautiful.
"Will you be taking us to our hotel?" Christian was very short.
"Yes Mr. Grey. I'll grab your bags and put them in the car."
Christian all be dragged me to the car and I knew I was in trouble. "What are you playing at Anastasia?" He was livid, his eyes went hard.
I wasn't going to let him be mad at me. Not right now. We've just gotten here. "What do you mean?" I started looking in my bag for my phone. I wanted to call and check on the kids. This is the first time I've been away from Aria.
"You practically threw yourself at him!" He was getting even angrier.
"Christian you're upsetting yourself over nothing." I gave him my most I – haven't – the – slightest – clue – what – you're – talking – about - I'm – totally – innocent look. He started to run his hand through his hair; I caught it and kissed his palm. "Please don't be upset with me. We're on vacation we're supposed to be having fun."
"Just, don't do that again. Anastasia you know how-" I cut him off with a quick kiss. I wasn't interested in Lizan I was just caught off guard. I'd just got off a twelve hour flight and the first thing I see is beautiful scenery then a man that looks like he was ripped out of Italian vogue.
"Yours. Remember that. Always yours." I ran my nails in his day's growth and he leaned his head into my hand. The groan he let out called to something deep inside me. Something that needed him. Then Lizan was in the front seat. I didn't look at him for fear of upsetting Christian. "Have I ever told you I love you?" I ask, not able to contain my grin.
"You may have mentioned it a few times." He rolled his eyes and smirked.
We were whizzing through streets that look like they belong more in Seattle than on this beautiful island. Liazans driving reminded me of Taylor's the thought made me smile.
"Penny for your thoughts?" Christian interrupted my thoughts.
"Taylor." I smiled at him and he smiled back. Christian has generally been a really good judge of character and he hit it home with Taylor. He's a great husband, father, and friend. When Christian finally let other people in, Taylor was the first one. He organized a poker game, he and Taylor against Kate and I. They let us win the first time but we quickly realized we'd been hustled. It's become a family annual tradition. Christmas eve we all get together and play poker. Thanks to Mrs. Jones the woman took it last year. That woman has the poker face given from the Gods, a product of working for Christian for so long. "I think we're going to win poker again this year."
"No if I have anything to do with it. Last year was a fluke." I laughed an actual gut laugh. Christian and Elliot get so competitive when it comes to, well anything.
"Yeah we'll see Mr. Grey." He squeezed my hand.
"We've arrived." Lizan announced.
The hotel, like everything else here, was breathtaking. With the mountains behind the grandiose building and the sound of the ocean and smell of the salt water I was dripping with excitement. I know I lit up like a child because Christian was grinning at me.
"Can you handle the bags?" He was still looking at me but talking to Lizan.
"Of course sir. Check in is just through the doors."
Christian grabbed my hand and we walked into the hotel. Everything just looked so natural as if the building was a part of the landscape rather than man made.
"Good afternoon!" A woman, too energetic, from behind reception greeted us. "Welcome to The Shore Line. Are we checking in?" She was really friendly and very happy looking.
"Yes reservation under the name Grey." I hand her my credit card and I could tell Christian was doing his best not to put up a fight.
"Here we are Mrs. Anastasia Grey. You have a Fijan suite." She looked up from the computer to me for confirmation.
"We should also have a trans-aqua."
"We don't have it in the system but don't worry I can get you one and at half price for the inconvenience. I love your hat by the way." She talked really fast.
"Thanks."
"Okay the two brown are the keys for your trans-aqua and the two white are for the suite. If you go through the double doors to your right and make a left then take the first set of elevators to the sixty-seventh floor your room will be the first one on your right. Room 6700. Your bags are already up there and you can talk to Lizan for directions to your beach house."
"Thank you so much."
"Not the slightest of a problem. I hope you enjoy your stay." She waved as Christian and I walked off.
"Why did you book two rooms?" Christian asked.
"I got the one I showed you in the picture, with the glass floors but it's outdoors and I figured if the weather was bad we'd have the suite as a backup plan. I didn't realize it came with a beach house too."
The suite was amazing; all earth tones. The view of the crystal blue water left me awestruck. "I think I'm in love." I murmured looking out the window.
"Well I hope so." Christian joked and handed me a glass of wine and stood behind me.
"This is so beautiful." I looked up at him. "Do you think we could get a house here?"
"I'll look into it." He walked back to the bar. "What do you want to do first Mrs. Grey?"
"The same thing I always want to do Mr. Grey." I sipped my wine and continued looking out the window.
I felt him before I heard him then all of a sudden Christian swept me up into his arms and was carrying me, giggling the entire way, to the bed room.
