Thank you all SO much for the reviews I got last time, and I'm sorry it took me longer to get this one out. I was really proud of the last one and felt like nothing could top it.. But I figure I owe you guys something! Hope you all enjoy.
Beck strode into his family's European style home, the front door slamming into the wall as he struggled to carry a large bag through the door. Brynn sat atop the bag, a smile plastered on her baby face as they entered the house. Beck pretended to drop the bag, sending Brynn into a fit of giggles. Soon, the house was filled with both of their laughter as Beck finally got the door shut.
"Jade, we're back!" Beck yelled as he placed the bag, and his daughter, down on the couch.
"I'm so excited, daddy." Brynn whispered as Jade entered the room, her eyes glued to her phone.
Beck smiled and put a single finger over his mouth, signaling to Brynn to keep the secret. The small girl giggled and mimicked his action, a strand of her black hair falling over her eyes.
Jade looked up from her phone long enough to acknowledge her family's presence, her eyes darting back to the phone as she sighed.
"Aren't you excited to see your loving family?"
"Mhm." She replied, her eyes still scanning her phone, the screen now blank.
"Are you excited to see the giant meteorite that smashed into the coffee shop, too?"
"Yep."
Brynn sighed, tired of waiting for her mother to notice their big surprise, "Mommy.."
Jade tore her eyes away from the phone to look at her daughter, a sympathetic smile on her face. "Sorry baby girl."
That is, until she noticed the bag that Brynn was sitting on. Her eyebrows knit together in what looked to be a fusion of anger and confusion as she stared at the bag. She slowly looked up at Beck, who smirked back at her. Brynn began to laugh, standing up and putting her arms out to Beck, who picked her up in response.
"No. No, no, no. No way Beckett." Jade yelled, her eyes stuck on the bag.
"Come on mommy, it'll be fun!"
"No."
"Why don't you want to go camping, babe?" Beck asked as he scratched the back of his neck nervously. He knew this wouldn't go very well, but he was determined to make it happen.
"Maybe because there are dirty, stinky animals, ugly bugs, we'd have to sleep on the cold hard ground, going to campgrounds means that other people will be around us, I hate nature, I hate other people, it will be cold, we'll have to use community showers, camp fires sti-"
"Okay, okay." Beck laughed, interrupting his now fuming wife. "Brynn and I think it will be fun though."
"Please?" Brynn's raspy voice chimed in.
"No." Jade deadpanned, exiting the room.
Beck looked at Brynn, who had a small smirk displayed on her face. Although Brynn took more after her dad personality-wise, she had learned her mother's deceiving ways and even knew them well enough to use on the master of deception herself. After squirming her way out of Beck's arms, she quietly padded out of the living room and into her parent's room, where Jade had sprawled out on the bed.
"Mommy?"
Jade sat up at the sound of her daughter's voice, opening her arms as an invitation for Brynn to cuddle with her. Brynn quickly accepted the offer, running into her mother's arms.
"What is it?" Jade asked, smoothing her daughter's hair down.
"Mommy, why don't you like to do stuff with daddy and me?"
Jade's mouth dropped open, shocked at what Brynn had said. Did she really not spend enough time with her family? Of course she did, she loved them more than anything. It had seemed as if she spent more time filming lately, but every time she had the time she would agree to play tea party with Brynn and watch Cinderella. Then again, that only happened every other weekend or so.
"I do spend a lot of time with you and daddy, Brynn."
Brynn shook her head, her long hair flying softly around her face. "Nu uh, you have to do your movies and singing a lot."
Jade sighed, resting her head on top of her daughter's. She held Brynn tight as she closed her eyes. "You really think I don't spend enough time with you?"
"Yes.. But I like that you sing and do movies, its cool! Except for the bad paparazzi mans that follow us now." Brynn said, sounding annoyed as she crossed her arms. "Won't you please go with me and daddy? Please?" She looked up at her mother, her long eyelashes batting together as she waited for a response.
"Fine." Jade sighed, causing Brynn to squeal as she jumped out of Jade's arms and ran into the living room.
"We're going, daddy, we're going!" She could hear Brynn yell as Beck laughed.

The sound of gravel popping under Beck's trucks tires could be heard as the small family pulled into the campground where they would be spending the next day. Jade carefully watched her surroundings, wary of nearly every human and insect around them. Brynn, on the other hand, was practically screaming as she waited for Beck to pull into what would be their new home for the next few days.
"Look, daddy! There are other kids here!" Brynn beamed, her hand flying up in an effort to show her father who she was talking about.
"Slow down, Little B." Beck laughed, stopping the truck in their allotted camping spot.
As soon as Beck took the keys out of the ignition, Brynn scrambled over her mother's lap in an effort to get out the door. This earned a scream from Jade, who was making it very clear that she still did not want to be there. Brynn scrambled back to her father, placing herself on his lap as she stared at her mother. Beck shot his wife a warning glare, holding onto Brynn as he did so.
"Fine." Jade sighed, climbing out of the car. Her family knew that this was her way of apologizing, but Beck couldn't help but wonder just how horribly wrong this trip was going to end up going.
Brynn giggled as she climbed out of the car, having forgiven her mother for scaring her. She was not one to get hung up on her mom's angry tendencies; she had grown used to them having grown up around it. Brynn was much like her father; she knew exactly how to handle her mother and usually stayed calm during Jade's outbursts.
"We're here, we're here!" Brynn danced around the metal circle that marked where their camp fire was supposed to be.
Beck smiled at his daughter and then glanced up at his wife, who was glaring at the people around them. She turned and caught his gaze, one of her eyebrows raised as if to question what he wanted. Beck shrugged and pulled the tent out of the truck, placing it down on the ground as he realized that Jade was still staring at him.
"What, babe?" He laughed.
"We're doing this wrong."
"What do you mean?"
"Take a look around, Beckett. Do you see what all of these people are staying in? Campers. They're staying in campers." She yelled, holding her arms out, gesturing towards the other campers as if to prove her point. "They'll get to sleep in nice, comfy beds while we sleep in a dingy, smelly tent on the hard ground."
"Those people camp all the time. You refuse to camp."
"I wouldn't refuse if I had a bed to sleep on!"
Beck only shrugged in response, knowing there wasn't much he could say to put his wife at ease. Brynn seemed unaffected by her mother's yelling as she continued to spin and sway around her parents, overjoyed to finally be camping with her parents.

"Daddy, I'm cold." Brynn said through her chattering teeth.
The sun had gone down just a little bit after Beck set up their tent, Jade refusing to help and Brynn running off to play with new friends. He didn't mind though, Brynn wouldn't have been able to offer much help and Jade probably would have yelled the whole time. As much as he loved his family, sometimes he knew it was better for him to do certain tasks on his own.
"Come here, Brynn." Beck said, his arms open wide, inviting Brynn to sit with him.
Brynn giggled and carefully jumped out of her seat, as much as she liked the camp fire, she was very cautious when walking near it. She quickly made it into her father's arms, cuddling into his embrace as she struggled to get warm.
Without saying a word, Jade got out of her seat and walked over to her husband and daughter, picking Brynn up and then sitting down on Beck's lap. The three of them cuddled together in one chair, as if it was made for all of them. Beck smiled and kissed Jade's temple, earning a small smile from his otherwise pissed of wife.
Jade had gone all day without yelling too awful much, although she did have a huge outburst when she found a bug in her tent. Even though she kept her temper at bay, she had made it very clear that she was not happy with the experience. Brynn had made friends with the other kids on the campground, even after Jade had warned her not to talk to them. With Jade's rising fame and Beck's already celebrity status, she was afraid that having their daughter run around the campground would attract attention. In the end, only a few people realized who they were but decided to leave the family alone, putting Jade at ease.
"Can I have marshmallows now?"
"Brynn, you've already roasted half of the bag." Jade laughed, wiping some of the left over marshmallow residue off of her daughter's face.
"Please?" The small girl begged, her blue-green eyes staring into her mother's identical ones.
Jade only nodded in response, smiling as her daughter eagerly ran over to roast yet another marshmallow.
"I guess you were cold too, huh?" Beck teased Jade, who had now positioned herself so that her body fit perfectly with Beck's, her head resting on his shoulder.
"No, I just wanted to sit with my family, thank you." Jade retorted, venom dripping from her voice. They both knew that she was happy to in the comfort of his embrace, but was still trying to prove her point about how much she hated camping.
Beck smiled in response, holding Jade close as they watched Brynn make a s'more all by herself. They had started out the s'more making experience by helping Brynn roast the marshmallows, but she had such an independent personality that she forced her way into making them by herself, showing her parents that she was careful and knew exactly what she was doing. Of course, if something were to go wrong, her over protective parents would have stepped in to help.
"S'mores are the best thing in the world. We should camp all the time." Brynn squealed, her mouth full of a combination of marshmallow, chocolate, and graham crackers.
"How about we start calming down, baby? It's getting late." Jade tried coxing her daughter into getting ready to sleep.
Brynn smirked at her mother in response, crossing her arms as she did so. Beck laughed, he knew what was about to happen. It was Jade that was taken by surprise as her daughter continued to smile at her, looking more devilish than Jade had ever seen her.
"Only if we get to come camping again."
"No." Jade replied, reflecting her daughter's facial expression as she caught on to what was happening.
"Then you don't get to sing anymore."
"And you don't get to play dress up anymore."
"Well then you can't see Auntie Cat anymore."
"You, my dear Brynn, can't go to the playground anymore."
"You can't leave the house ever again!"
"You'll never see another dress up item in your life." Jade laughed as she spoke, knowing she had won her daughter over with that one.
Brynn's face dropped as she ran to her mother's side, throwing herself on top of her parents as she apologized over and over again. It didn't take long for Jade to start laughing, hugging her daughter as she did so.
"Will you listen to me and start getting ready to go to sleep now?" She asked, staring into her daughter's gorgeous eyes.
"Will you and daddy sing to me?"
Jade nodded and kissed her daughter on the nose, causing a small giggle to escape Brynn's lips. Beck smiled at the two of them, it was obvious that he loved them more than anything.
"Sing Wild Side. Like I saw in the video on Auntie Cat's computer.. Please." Brynn asked, her eyes blinking slowly as she let out a yawn and leaned back on both of her parents. She was sitting between the two of them, her head falling on both Beck and Jade's shoulders, both of their arms wrapped around their beautiful daughter.
The couple smiled and nodded at each other, signaling that they were ready to start singing. They sang very softly to Brynn, who began to smile and the two of them. Her favorite thing in the world was to hear her parents singing together, especially when they sang to her.
xoxoxo
"Can't we just go home?" Jade whispered as she tucked Brynn into her sleeping bag.
"No, babe. Let's just go to sleep and the night will be over with before you know it."
Jade sighed, pulling another sleeping bag into the tent. She was reaching back outside of the tent to pull the last one in, when she suddenly stopped what she was doing and looked at Beck.
"What?" He asked, yawning as he did so.
"Where is the third sleeping bag?"
"Is it not outside of the tent?"
"Would I be asking if it was outside of the tent?" Jade retorted.
Beck shrugged and got up, crawling his way out of the tent so that he could check in the truck. He soon returned empty handed, smiling as Jade began to shake her head furiously.
"How could you forget my sleeping bag? We're going home, get the kid." Jade whisper-yelled, climbing out of the tent and standing next to her husband.
"Do you really want to disappoint Brynn? Come on, one of us will have to share a sleeping bag with Brynn."
"If you move her and wake her up, I swear to God Beck, I will end your life."
He smiled in response, pulling his wife into his arms. "Then it looks like we're sharing a sleeping bag."
"No, it looks like we're going home."
Beck made the saddest face he could manage, staring into his wife's eyes as he did so. It didn't take long for her to get annoyed, swatting at him and telling him to stop. She tried to get away from him and climb into the car, but he strengthened his grip on her.
"Fine, Beckett! Fine." She sighed, turning out of his embrace.
He quickly grabbed her hand and pulled her back, placing a kiss on her forehead. "You're the best, you know that?"
"Whatever."
The two of them struggled to climb into their sleeping bag, which surprisingly had enough room for the two of them and quite a bit of wiggle room. That is, if they both slept on their sides. Beck wrapped his arms around Jade and she rested her head on his shoulder, sighing as she did so.
"Wow, the concrete slab we're sleeping on really forms to my body." Jade deadpanned, making her displeasure towards the situation known.
"Just go to sleep." Beck laughed, pulling Jade closer to him.
It wasn't long until the two of them had drifted into a peaceful sleep, that is, until Brynn awoke in a panic.
"Mommy?" She asked, her voice shaking as she tried to wake her mother.
Jade grunted as she rolled over, staring at her daughter for a minute before fully realizing what was going on.
"What's wrong, Brynn?" She asked, pulling the four year old girl onto her lap.
"Bad dream." Brynn mumbled, burying her face into the crook of Jade's neck.
Jade nodded and rubbed small circles on Brynn's back, humming softly as she did so. She wasn't quite sure how to comfort her daughter as they were sleeping in a small tent, not in their house. Usually Jade would allow Brynn to sleep with her and Beck, but things were different this time around.
"Beck." Jade whispered, nudging her sleeping husband.
"Hmm?" He mumbled as he opened his eyes.
Jade gestured to their daughter, who was still cuddled into her embrace. Beck quickly sat up and leaned his head on his wife's free shoulder, throwing an arm around Brynn in an effort to help comfort her.
"Can I sleep with you and daddy?" Brynn asked.
"Uh, that would be a tight fit. Are you sure you don't want to sleep with just me? Or just daddy? ..Or by yourself?"
"No, I need mommy and daddy!" Brynn whined, forcing her way in between Beck and Jade.
Jade looked at her husband, who was now laying down with their daughter, his baby girl wrapped up in his arms. He shrugged at Jade, who sighed in response, squeezing her way back into the sleeping bag. She slung an arm around her daughter and husband, her body just barely fitting in with theirs.
"We're never going camping again."
"Okay, Jade." Beck smirked at his wife.
