You guys, it's been a YEAR. A year. Being the irresponsible lazy bum that I am, I actually took a year to update this fanfic. I know what you're all thinking, "Emily, where the heck have you been and why are you not updating your story? Are you telling us that you were so busy that it took you almost 365 days to sit your butt back in that chair and post a new chapter? Bla bla bla; insert more angry ranting here!" But I PROMISE that there will be no more than a few days between the rest of the chapters. You may want to reread the rest of the story as a refresher. With that out of the way, let's get started! (I will be starting to switch POV's in this chapter)

Justice's POV

"Jana, pick up your damn phone!" I yelled, slamming my own flip-phone shut. There was barely any service out here anyways.

"Quiet back there!" The pint-sized creep in the front seat snapped.

"Who the heck are you, and how do you know how to drive?!" Whoever this annoying little brat was, he was way too young to have a license.

"You learn things around here. Things you couldn't imagine. And I need something from you."

"Me?! You don't even know my name."

"Your name is Justice, and I know you've become good friends with the Pines family."

"Well, more my sister than me, but-"

"What has she told you?"

"That's none of your business!" I figured if I didn't give him the help he wanted, he would let me go. I was wrong.

"It will be soon enough. Now, what has your sister said about the Pines twins?" I couldn't take that weird, squeaky voice too seriously.

"Well, nothing out-of-the-ordinary. She just said they're really good friends. But I… I kind of see more than that." Why couldn't I keep my big mouth shut? "I think Dipper likes her. And I know she likes him. They'd be kind of cute together, I think."

"Hmm, maybe they would. Very, very cute…"

"I told you everything I've got. Now it's your turn. What's your name?"

"I'm not telling you anything!"

"Oh, you'll tell me," I warned, waving my phone in the air. "Tell me or I can dial three little numbers and have you arrested." Blackmail; works every time. He tried to take the phone away from me, but I placed it out of his reach, above the backseat.

"Fine. My name is Gideon, and this town will be mine soon enough."
