I super duper sorry its been so long since the last update. As I said on "fallen" yesterday the last half of my school year was kinda crazy but summer holidays now so YAY.
I hope you enjoy this chapter.

It had been about a month since that sunny afternoon Emma and Regina spent in the forest.
Emma was still living at home but she rarely talked to Snow anymore, but James she talked to a lot, they had actually grown very close.

Emma was still looking for a place, so she could move out; she was actually going to look at a house that day. It was one tucked away from the main street and the business of the town.

"Did you want me to come with you?"

There was no reply.

"Emma, dear?"

Emma looked up from her desk at the station and saw Regina standing in front of her.

"Huh?"

"Do you want me to come with you to the open house today?"

"Oh" Emma looked a little confused, tired even. Well she was tired; the past month hadn't been the easiest of her life. Snow on her back 24/7, staying at the station or Regina's as much as she could so Snow wouldn't be a problem, it was tiring.

"Yeah that would be great." Emma smiled "Thank you."

Emma finished up her work and grabbed her keys ready to go look at this house that she would possibly call home. That's not true, her home was with Henry and dare she was Regina, this place would just be another roof.

…..

"Hello, I'm Ann Blake, your realtor for today."

Emma and Regina introduced themselves after a few other couples had done so, as they all walked into the hidden gem of a home.

"So, welcome. As you probably read this is a 3 Bedroom home, 2 bathrooms, a large kitchen, and a dining room that opens into the lounge room. It's a spacious house, with a large back yard. It's great for kids." Ann said leading the public through the home.

Emma and Regina stayed towards the back of the group, slowly taking in the home and every last detail.

The house, as describe was beautiful. It was spacious and open, the windows stretch around the whole home. The back yard was big, with luscious green grass and a big willow tree in the back corner and behind the -quiet large- garden shed and a gate the led to a small creak and the beginning of the forest that stretch around Storybrooke.

Finally when the whole group was back in the foyer that Realtor spoke again about applications.

"Regina, do you think I should apply?" Emma asked as she turned to her girlfriend.

"I do. It's a beautiful house." It was quiet blunt.

Emma took that into consideration, but at the same time… It was a house, not a home.

Emma blushed off the thought and reached for an application. Each member of the group that had taken an application form had filled in and signed them on the spot. "Okay, I will give these to the owner of this beautiful home and once he knows who he wants to rent to I will get back to you. It will be a week at the most.

Hands were shaken and "thank you"s were said, but soon the house was cleared. The cars were gone and all that was left was Emma and Regina sitting in the Benz. "It's a great place." Emma said only slightly happy.

"Yeah, it's wonderful. Henry will love it."

The drive back to the station was silent; not a bad silent but it wasn't a good one either.

….

Six days had past, and finally as Emma and Regina sat in Regina's den after dinner and putting Henry to bed, Emma's phone rang.

"Hello"

"Hello, Emma Swan?"

"Yeah?"

"It's Ann Blake here. Sorry for calling so late in the evening but the owner of 37 Banks Road, Mr. Armfield, has decided he wants to rent to you."

"Really? That's great!" Emma said as a smile crossed her face.

"Yes, you can come in tomorrow to get the keys and the house is ours."

"What right away?"

"Yes, if that isn't a problem."

"No, no. That's great. I'll see you tomorrow."

"Great. Goodbye" then the line went dead.

Regina gave Emma a quizzical look prompting her to explain the phone call she just received.

"Oh, the realtor, Ann, called" Emma dumbly gestured to her phone "And said I got the place… I get the keys tomorrow."

"That's wonderful." Regina smiled; well tried to but it didn't quiet reach her eyes. Emma would have noticed if she wasn't so busy looking at her phone like this was a fake and her phone wasn't even real.

"Well you best start packing" Regina said as she stood from her side of the couch, picking up two empty cups and walking out of the den.

Emma only court up to Regina in the kitchen. Regina had already begun to rinse the cups.

"Well I was actually thinking," Emma moved behind Regina and put her arm around Regina's waist. "We celebrate tonight. I mean, just because I get the keys tomorrow doesn't mean I have to move in tomorrow, anyway."

Regina turned in Emma's arms. "I- I'm not really in the mood." And without another word Regina carried herself upstairs to bed. Hoping to be followed.
