Dream Realm:
Luna was walking through the depths of the Dream Realm, which she could easily go to because of her powers of the night. She was looking for something, something specific related to Laharl. She sensed he was resting and decided to take advantage of the situation and look into his dreams. "Aha," she shouted as she found a door with the same symbol on it as the one on Laharl's coat.
Just as she was about to open the door, she heard a familiar voice come from behind, "Luna, what are you doing?" Luna turned around to see Celestia looking at her with a look of concern.
Luna turned back around to the door, "This leads to Laharl's dream dear sister and I intend to see what he is dreaming right now."
Celestia lowered her head and sighed, "Very well, but you must remember that what you are doing is an invasion of his privacy and he will be very cross with you."
Luna shrugged it off, opened the door and a blast of white light enveloped both the Princesses. They opened their eyes to see a younger Laharl, sitting at a small round table with demons, playing cards. The game looked like Texas Hold'em and Laharl won with a straight.
A large white golem with excessively large hands punched a hole in the wall and yelled in an old man's voice, "This again... you son of a bitch Laharl! You won four hands in a row!"
The young Laharl chuckled evilly while scooping all the chips he won to him, "Well it's not my fault you guys suck at playing."
An old man floating above the ground slammed the table with his fists, "You're cheating you little bastard!"
Laharl stood up with his arms stretched to his side, with no coat on. Displaying his muscles and a scar on his chest that looks like a sideways eye with black veins covering a portion of his chest, "I put my coat over by the door as agreed before we start, so how could I be cheating you old fucks?"
Another man took a cigarette out of his mouth and blow some smoke, "Leave the boy alone, he's not cheating."
The old man grabbed the white sleeve of the man who just spoke, "You must be helping him you stupid bird."
The man punched the old man, "Shin Tengu does not cheat at cards... besides, why would I help him when I'm top contender for the "Black Moon Tournament"."
The room went black and Celestia gasped, "So that one man is Tengu, the one who is causing destruction to our beautiful world."
Luna raised an eyebrow, "Why would a child gamble with his elders?"
Celestia shook her head, "It must be a demon thing." Another bright enveloped the Princesses and then they found themselves in the middle of a battle arena where the young Laharl who looked a year older and Shin were battling it out. Shin had Laharl pinned down while choking him with a silver chain. Celestia gasped, "What sort of horrible event, what would cause such an event like this?"
Luna shook her head, "I don't know and I didn't know there was a black moon." Laharl grabbed Shin by the head and threw him across the arena and was no longer being choked..
He coughed, "Asshole," he coughed again, "you think that's going to work on me?"
Shin smiled "No," he pulled the chains, "but this will," the chains constricted Laharl, squeezing the life out of him. Shin then summoned lightning from his hand, electrifying the chains and burning Laharl as he screamed. After a couple of seconds, Shin stopped and Laharl fell to the ground smoking. Shin grinned, "Don't even bother counting... he's not getting up."
The crowd sat in awe as Laharl was getting up and Shin was getting angry. Laharl stood up and drew his fist back, "This... is the... part... where... you... lose!" He rushed forward and punched at Shin but looked like he completely missed.
Luna looked confused, "Sister he missed... how is this Shin suppose to lose if..." she stopped and looked in amazement as Shin was being punched by invisible beings and with one final blow, sent Shin crashing into the stands with many bruises.
Luna's mouth fell open and Celestia closed it with her hoof, "I imagine that since this time, Laharl has gotten much stronger." Then they were both thrown into bright light and were standing in a big room with tall marble chairs that almost reach half way up the room. The room itself was colored in grey and bronze with black spikes coming out of the arch support beams. It looked like a place where one administers punishment. In the middle of the room with Shin, bound in black chains.
Laharl sat on the highest of the chairs looking down and he looked older than before and spoke in a commanding voice, "Shin Tengu... you are charged with cowardice, abandoning your subjects to die, the destruction of your netherworld and failing your duties as an overlord... how do you plea?"
Shin spat in the ground, "I should be sitting up there... not you, you disgusting little blackheart."
Laharl snorted, "You are to be stripped of your title, your overlord powers, you are never going to be an overlord as long as I live and you are no longer welcomed in any netherworld," he looked around at the others sitting in the chairs, "please state your 'yays' or 'nays'." Virtually everyone said yay to the decision.
Shin glared up at Laharl, "You'll pay for this one day!" Laharl smiled, pressed a button and Shin was enveloped in darkness and launched through the ceiling, into space.
The princesses were sent out of the memory and into a dark room where there was nothing to be found. "Should've killed him back then," the girls turned to see Laharl hanging his arms over the back of their necks. The princesses moved away and Laharl fell to the floor.
Luna pointed a hoof at him and yelled, "How did you get in here?"
Laharl stood up and brushed himself off, "That should be something I should be asking you two."
Luna held a hoof up to her chest, "We are the Princess of the Night, we have the power to go into others dreams."
Celestia came up next to her sister, "I followed her and well... here we are."
Laharl smiled and nodded, "And here you go," he grabbed a lever that appeared next to him and when he pushed down on it, Luna and Celestia fell through a trap door, screaming as they fell.
Reality: Laharl in Griffon Kingdom:
Laharl woke up just as he and Spike was approaching their destination. Spike looked up at Laharl, "So... what do I get to do?"
He sighed, "You get to take this elevator back down to the main floor and wait for the guy to come out."
Spike stomped the ground, "That's not fair, I helped you beat those bad guys out in the city!"
Laharl picked him up by the head with one hand and put him up to his face, "You were very helpful then but this situation is more... dangerous."
Spike crossed his arms and huffed, "Fine." Laharl put him and handed him a card with weird writing on it. Spike looked up at Laharl, "What's this for?"
He smiled, "If you ever need a favor, besides the matter of love, I will help in anyway I can."
Spike looked at the card, "So you can't help me get Rarity to like-like me huh?"
Laharl shook his head, "Matters of the heart are not nor will they ever be my department." The elevator dinged as it reached its destination. Laharl stepped out and pressed the floor one button, "Just wait for the guys down there," the doors closed and Spike went down.
King's Room:
Laharl walked through the room that used to be the kings room, which was now turned into a dark and desolate wasteland. Griffon statues were scattered all over and their face had a look of horror. He pulled out a cigarette, lit it and started to smoke, "You really went overboard this time Shin."
A tall male figure wearing Japanese robes and tall sandals stepped forth, "You've grown up blackheart."
Laharl puffed out some smoke from his nose, "And you've grown old, stupid and you're going to die soon." Shin slashed at the air which cut up Laharls cigarette and his face which made him bleed. Laharl sighed "Now is when you die." Just as he stepped for, he disappeared. Shin put his arms up to block but howled in pain as Laharl shoved his fingers through Shins right side, piercing his lungs.
Shin coughed up blood, "You fool," then smiled. Laharl was knocked back into the wall and then slammed in the chest with Shins' sandal heel. Laharl quickly charged forward and started to deliver a series of blows and Shin countered with a series of his own. When the moment was right, Shin kicked Laharl in the abdomen, sending him flying into a wall. Shin then flew towards Laharl intent to kill.
Just as Shin was about to slam his sandal heels into Laharl, he dodged and Shin hit the wall with such force, a cloud of smoke and debris surrounded them both. The cloud quickly disappeared and he was stuck in the wall. He looked to his left and saw a large piece of concrete come up to him and make contact, sending him flying into a wall.
He recovered to find Laharl holding the same piece of concrete but the left side of his body, mostly his skin was blackened, with that part of his face and his hand looking demonic and with a menacing left eye. Shin chuckled, "You haven't gotten angry on me boy?"
Laharl smiled, "Have you been missing a shoe old man?" Shin looked down and saw that his left sandal is missing and then looked to where he was earlier to find it broken in pieces.
He growled, "Little shit," then thrust his right palm forward and the concrete piece Laharl was holding shattered to pieces. Then he charged forward about to kick Laharl with his other sandal when Laharl grabbed it, broke off the bottom part off and bashed Shin in the head with it.
Shin was on the ground and looked up Laharl and spat at him, "You won't win!"
Laharl's left side went back to normal and smirked, "Why is that?" Shin suddenly rose up and stabbed him in the side with his fingers, causing him to bleed and yell out in pain.
He dropped to his knees as Shin laughed, "Hurt's... doesn't it, you little shit?" Laharl started to lose his strength as Shin was digging his fingers in deeper and feeling his life drain from his body. Shin laughed again, "Feeling drained my boy?" Laharl started to feel weaker and weaker and his vision was going dark.
Laharl gained what little strength he had left and and bit the arm that Shin was using to stab him. Shin let out a howl as Laharl wouldn't let go of his arm. Shin pulled his fingers out of Laharl's side and started to shake him off, "Let go of me you little bastard," and after a bit, he got Laharl off his arm. Shin looked at his arm and saw a horrendous bite mark that went deep into the bone.
Shin looked up and saw Laharl standing up, with blood from his mouth and his side wounds completely healed. Shin had a look of shock on his face, "What are you?" Laharl smiled, spead his arms out and black lightning shot forth and surrounded Shin. He braced for impact but he felt nothing.
Laharl started to close his arms and hands together. Shin laughed as he walked towards him, "You must be stupid to think that..." and stopped as he hit some invisible wall. He placed his hands on the wall and felt that it started to enclose on him. "What are you doing," he asked as Laharl was almost closing his hands and the invisible wall around Shin turned black and got smaller and smaller.
After Laharl closed his hands, the field around Shin was nothing more than a small black orb. Laharl grabbed the orb and smiled, "Goodbye... old man," released some lightning into the orb and threw it up in the air, through the ceiling and exploded in the sky. He walked into what appeared to be a bathroom, opened a medicine cabinet and pulled out what appeared to be a bottle of mouthwash. He poured some in his mouth and spat it out, "Fucking nasty ass shit!"
Suddenly there were loud creaking sounds and the sounds of large buildings moving. Laharl smiled a little, "Everything's going back to normal now." As he opened the door to the King's Room and a small group of griffons were there to greet him.
"Explain yourself," demanded a small female griffon with glasses and a suit.
Laharl made a small frown, "Me and my friends saved your kingdom and land and we would like to clean up please."
A large griffon with gold and white feathers walked in, "Give this creature and his companions what they need to help refresh themselves." As Laharl walked out of the room the large griffon stopped him, "First, you did not harm my subjects, just demons... and second, that is bubble bath."
Laharl chuckled a little, closed the bottle and handed it to the large griffon, "Sorry our highness."
Sweet Apple Acres:
Arron was groaning in pain, holding a big, red apple, laying on his bed. Applejack came in with a tray with a bowl of soup and a glass of juice on it. She sat it on the table nearby, "Why haven't ya eaten that yet?"
He looked at her, "Wait'in for the painkillers to kick in," then he relaxed and smiled, "and there we go."
Applejack shook her head, "You're a weird fella." Arron grunted, clutching the apple and there was a small light coming from his hand that was holding the apple. The light was gone, he let down his hand, opened it and a brown, wilted apple fell out onto the floor. Applejack had a shocked look on her face, "What did you do?" Arron fell asleep.
Applejack examined him closely and noticed that his wounds from earlier were gone. She walked out of his room and looked back at him 'Please be alright.'
Sugarcube Corner:
Issac was laying down in the spare room the Cake family had with Pinkie laying next to him, listening to his tale. "So you beat a bunch of bad guys," she asked.
He nodded, "Yep and they won't come back again."
Pinkie giggled, "You're so strong Izzy," Issac started snoring, "and sleepy." She snuggled up next to him and went to sleep as well.
Issac smiled, "I can get used to this."
Ponyville Library:
Dark Wolf was groaning in pain, rubbing his leg where the bear trap got him. Spike looked in awe, "So you got out of the trap and beat the bad guy... Wow your so cool man." Then he went up to Vektor and started feeling his mechanical arm, "And you have metal parts which looks so awesome."
Twilight, Trixie and Rarity were drinking some tea after helping the guys. "I've read about mechanized creatures but never thought I'd see one."
Trixie finished sipping her tea, "Trixie knew there was something about Vektor that seemed off but it is good for Trixie's business." Vektor knew she meant it was good to have him back in her own way.
Rarity scoffed, "At least Spikie-Wikey is okay." Vektor and Dark Wolf snorted and chuckled a little.
Spike blushed, 'So embarrassing!'
Laharl's House:
Laharl and Fluttershy were on the roof, laying down and looking at the stars. They got done with dinner and went out to star gaze. Fluttershy sighed happily as she was next to Laharl and asked, "Have you... been to other worlds?"
He nodded, "Lots of them but I like this one the best."
She smiled, "Maybe... I could... see... your world... sometime?"
He sighed, "Maybe in the future, but when the bad man goes away."
"What bad man?"
"... Just... a bad man."
