Sebastian was beyond scared. He said it. He said it, and now Kurt's going to freak out and leave. For God's sake they've only been dating for a short while, and before that, they swore they hated each other, but here he is telling him that he loves him in the heart of Paris at sunset. He couldn't make this more romantic.
He looked into Kurt's eyes and lost all sense of control over his words as the truth flowed from his mouth like a waterfall.
"Yes," Sebastian said softly.
Kurt bit his lip and looked scared.
'Oh fuck,' Sebastian thought.
He thought Kurt was going to bolt it to the next plane out of here, but instead, he felt familiar, soft lips on his own.
"Have you ever been in love before?" Kurt asked softly.
"No, but I think you'd be a good place to start and suffice," Sebastian said.
"I don't want you to say this now, and later you realize you're just feeling emotional at the moment of was just infatuated. Love is a scary thing, and I don't want you to be scared of loving someone," Kurt said, "If that makes any sense."
"I'm not scared to love you. Whatever it takes, that's what I feel right now. Whatever it takes for you to stay with me," Sebastian said.
Kurt was staring into his eyes the entire time, never seeing something so pure before in his life. He was a bit overwhelmed, but he couldn't deny what he felt.
The entire moment was ruined when a huge gust of wind came by and hit them with snow.
"Holy shit," Kurt shivered.
Sebastian held Kurt to his chest on what felt like instinctive movements.
"Let's go back to the house," Sebastian said.
Kurt nodded against his chest and followed Sebastian back to his car with Sebastian's arm around him to shield him from snow. Once Sebastian secured Kurt in the passenger's seat, he went over to his side and buckled in before beginning to drive.
"Long way back?" Sebastian asked.
"If that's the way that has the big tree then yes," Kurt smiled.
"Off we go," Sebastian said driving along the road. Drivers got slower as they drove on. When they passed the giant Christmas tree, Sebastian swore Kurt's face was brighter than the tree.
Soon, traffic came to a complete stand still. Sebastian stuck his head out of the window to see if he could locate the reason for the jam or at least an exit. He got nothing.
"Damn, this might take a minute," Sebastian said taking his car off and reclining back. It wasn't long until he heard teeth chattering.
"You know you can turn the heat on, right?" Sebastian said sitting himself up on his elbows to look at Kurt.
Kurt bit his lip. "What if I have an ecofriendly way to get warm? You know, so I won't burn up your gas," Kurt said.
"What, dare I ask, would that be?" Sebastian asked.
Kurt took his coat off, gaining Sebastian's curiosity as to how the lack of a layer was going to warm him up.
Sebastian, however did not see Kurt straddling him and lying on his chest while covering them with hi massive coat coming. Kurt snuggled into his boyfriend's chest and held on as Sebastian's arms held him by the hips.
"Mmm, if we weren't stuck in traffic, I could probably take a nap like this," Kurt purred.
"We can sleep like this when we get back, and the best part is that there is a heating system in the house, so I won't have to wear a coat. Just a shirt and my shorts and I can hold you even closer," Sebastian explained.
"Bas," Kurt smiled softly.
"There will be a day where I will be allowed to do this all day, but until that day, I think this is nice. I love just having you around and knowing that you're my boyfriend just makes it that much better," Sebastian said gently petting Kurt's hair and kissing the top of his head.
"I love you," Kurt heard the ghost of Sebastian's voice say, barely audible.
Kurt turned his head up and smiled before kissing Sebastian and holding Sebastian there.
The kiss had no teeth or tongue, just lip to lip contact conveying the emotions both parties felt as Kurt held onto Sebastian tighter and vice versa.
Kurt was so close to Sebastian, he could feel the tear that slipped down his left cheek
Kurt pulled away slowly and saw that Sebastian's pupils were wide, but not with lust. It was love and admiration for the boy that was currently straddling him.
"I love you too," Kurt said softly.
