The First Son

Chapter 6: Let it All Come Out: Part Two

Everyone stood along the walls of Jared and Kim's home, except old Quil, who had made himself comfortable in Jared's recliner. There was no way in hell he was standing around in this tense atmosphere, he'd be happy to watch this play out from the sidelines in comfort. This could possibly get worst after he told them the truth, well that wouldn't be so bad, the only thing that would piss them off more was how Bella would come into play and her new importance to the tribe, but thankfully help would be here soon to help him shed some light on the situation at hand and present the boys and Bella with the truth. It was time to end the all the secrets that had only severed to cause pain and hinder all, including the tribe, Bella, and her son. Yes, no more lies, it was time to let it all come out.

The pack stood to one side of the room with Bella, Ali, Darth and Embry holding Andreas' sheet covered body, on the other side. Bella kept glaring at the pack of wolves and their dumbass imprints, especially Aiyanna. They were all giving as good as they got from her by staring her down wishing looks could kill. Bella however, wasn't the weak little girl she was when she left Forks. She could be just as file and underhanded, crude, and unforgiving now as the individuals that were before her glaring her to death.

Sure at some point in time she believed in being the bigger person, but to HELL with that. She was a Demon Queen, with more power in her baby toe than the dishonorable beings that littered and lined the walls like roaches. They would learn to respect her. Her station and status in life demanded it, and she could give two fucks if they liked it or not. They could all go about this the easy way and give in to her or the hard way and she could force them. She hoped they'd choose hard way. She had not gotten to use her torture chambers since one of the lower statesmen in the Realm forced himself upon one of her lady maids five years ago.

Embry could feel Andreas begin to steer. Andreas' eyes met Embry's and quicker than his still injured body should have allowed he was out of the man's arms and glaring at him in a crouched position growling in warning.

Embry could only smile; the boy was just as feisty as his mother.

"It is good to see you awake young prince. But, please reacquire yourself some better covering before young Ivy dies of shock and embarrassment, I would hate to have to search out another apprentice." Old Quil grinned in amusement.

Andreas quickly turned to meet the stunned blushing face of Ivy. Her eyes met his and an emotion so deep consumed him, it was an emotion his mother had once described to him not so long ago when she told him stories of his father. However, the feeling was a bit different than what he had imagined it would be if he ever did become a shape shifter and imprinted.

Did he love the girl before him? NO! Did he feel the need to protect her? Yes, but not drown her in his presences by being an over protective ass. He wasn't consumed by his wolf with a huge overbearing need or instinct to mate her or any of the shit his mom said the other wolves felt. Thank God, because he'd rather not turn into some goo-goo eyed controlled pansy!

"DID YOU JUST IMPRINT ON MY LITTLE GIRL YOU BAS-" Before Jared could utter the word, Embry had him up against the wall with his hand firmly locked around the man's neck.

Embry stared up at him his eyes were glowing and giving off an eerie color. He gave his pack brother a hard glare that would have had Jared whimpering in submission if his wind pipe wasn't being crushed at the moment.

"You will NOT disrespect my son! If the word bastard even begins to slip from your lips ever again I will BEAT you within an inch of your life with my bare fucking hands" Embry uttered harshly between clenched teeth, tossing Jared at Kim's feet, who quickly rushed to his aid.

"That goes for ALL of you FUCKERS! Am I UNDERSTOOD!" He demanded letting the Pack feel the timber within his Alpha Command as it pressed down on them like a huge weight upon their wolf spirits. They all whimpered a little and nodded while glaring at the floor, they wouldn't dare question him. Seth and the younger boys Collin and Brady were all to confused to feel the overbearing effects of the Alpha command. They thought it was great that Embry was the new leader, seeing as Jake and Sam tended to abuse their power at times, but what was going on between the pack, Jacob, Aiyanna, Embry, and Bella? Whatever had gone down, it was way before any of them had phased and joined the pack.

"Trust me, imprinting was the furthest thing on my, to do list today old man! Especially on that creepy stocker."

"Would you PLEASE stop calling me that! God where's a freakin' rolled up newspaper when you need one?" Ivy mumbled to herself but everyone even Old Quil heard her.

"You wouldn't dare." Andreas growled darkly at her. However, Ivy was a spitfire and she wasn't going to bow down to any dog, including one picked out by the Great Spirits for her.

"Trust me wolf boy, I would. And I'd enjoy every single moment." Somehow that set off a glaring and growling match between the two.

Bella looked on in amusement. Her face might've been blank on the outside, but on the inside she was excited for her son. The imprint seemed to not have affected him the way it had the other boys, and for that she was grateful. But this wasn't the time to be all giddy and happy. She needed answers, so she could move on and figure out how to deal with the imprint between herself and Embry Call.

"Old Quil, I thought we were going to be getting answers, I'm growing impatient from waiting."

"Don't talk to my grandfather that way!" Quil yelled from the other side. Bella raised her left eyebrow at him.

"And what are you going to do if I refuse. Trust me your way weaker than Jacob Black is Ateara. But, if you still won't to try me I'll be sure to make you my little bitch boy to." Bell grinned forebodingly as her eyes lit up with a dark glow. She had an intense bloodlust building up on the surface since she beat the shit out of Jake, she wouldn't mind another round with Quil as the new stand in, and after all he was a traitor.

"That's enough Bella."

Everyone turned to see Billy Black and Tiffany Call standing in the door way.

"You will get your answers, but the time for anger and hatred has come to a standstill." Tiffany stated as her hazel eyes continued to stare into Bella's doe eyes conveying to her that she was serious. Bella nodded her head. She would not disrespect the mother of her imprinter or her son's possible grandmother. The woman had done nothing to her, to deserve her wrath.

Tiffany gave Bella a dazzling smiling that reminded her of her own mother, her birth mother. They both had big beautiful hazel eyes, soft faces, long coal colored hair, and breath taking smiles. She wish she could have met her mother, but all she had were paintings and pictures pass on to her from her father to remind her that the woman once existed.

Tiffany gave everyone a soft smile as she was led by Billy to sit on the love seat across from Old Quil. The room lost a bit of its tense atmosphere as everyone settled down in wonder of what Billy and Tiffany could possibly have to say about this whole situation.

Old Quil cleared his throat, catching everyone's attention. "Now I know everyone here has a lot of questions that need to be answered."

"No shit Sherlock." Darth thought to himself as he cleaned his finger nails with one of his favorite daggers.

"I heard that carrot top." Darth's eyes widen and gave the man a glare for the insult. So the older timer could read minds huh. He'd be sure to think of something the old man will never forget later.

"Now as I was saying. I'm sure you all have questions you want to be answered. None are as important as how Embry is chief and Alpha, when he is only half Quileute." Everyone nodded. "You see Billy isn't actually the rightful chief to the trib. Yes he has the blood of his father, Ephraim Black, the previous Alpha and chief's blood running through his veins.

However Billy has an older brother Elliot, the illegitimate child of Ephraim. You see before Ephraim imprinted on Mary, Billy's mother, he was madly in love with Nadia, Mary's twin sister.

Everyone in the room gasped. Except Tiffany and Billy, who already knew the story. Everyone could guess how this went down, but it was still all kinds of messed up!

"Ephraim was a phased at the time; however Mary was living with her father on the Makah reservation, while Nadia tended to her mother here. Nadia was a beautiful woman. With eyes the color of a storm, skin kissed by the sun, and a sweet smile to warm the coldest of hearts. She was always doing for others, sometimes it damn near left the girl broke! But she didn't care she was a kind spirit and she loved nothing more than to give to others.

It was no surprise to anyone on the rez that Ephraim fell in love with her. She mothered his men and was always a listening ear when Ephraim need someone to confide in, she could quench his anger better than anyone, hell even better than Mary before she came along. They soon were engaged to be married and expecting their first child.

Not willing to wait to see her sister at the wedding, Nadia called Mary down to visit her mother and herself. Mary was excited she'd missed her mother and twin dearly, so she quickly made her way to Nadia and Ephraim's home.

When Mary had arrived Ephraim was nowhere to be seen, vampires had been passing through from left and right with the Cullens settling in across the border. Ephraim didn't meet Mary until the day of the wedding, when she ran into him on the way to her sister's room. She fell; he helped her up grabbing the bouquet that had fallen to the floor. He began to hand it to her, but then their eyes met and in that moment nothing mattered, except her, all his previous obligations meant nothing. Without thinking their lips met and they expressed a passion they never knew existed.

That's how Nadia found them, to say she was shock was an understatement. Her heart was shattered, she screamed, she swung, threw anything she could get her hands on. It took one of his pack brothers to stop her in her fiery. Finally, with nothing left in her, she fell to the floor in heap with her wedding dress settled around her and cried. No matter what the two said, nothing made it better. They'd broken her. The man she loved and the sister she'd shared a womb with betrayed her.

The next day Nadia was gone. She'd packed her things in the middle of the night and vanished. Later it was discovered that she'd gone to live with relatives in Colorado, but quickly moved back to the Makah reservation to give birth to Elliot, so he could have tribal rights there."

Billy ran his hand across his worn face. It had been a long time since he'd heard that story, and it still had a way of affecting him. In many ways it reminds him of the break up between Sam and Leah. Which from the grimace on Sam's face and the angry scowl Leah was giving him, it reminded them both of their past situation as well. The hardest part for him was realizing how much Jake reminded him of his own father, quick to fall in love and out of love for the sake of a soul mate. An imprint was powerful, but not that damn powerful in his opinion.

He looked up to meet the eyes of Old Quil, who gave him a stiff nod of reassurance. It was his turn to speak. Billy met the eyes of Embry and sigh as he began his tell never letting his eyes leave the man in front of him, he deserved to know the truth, as well as what a great man his father had been.

"I didn't meet my brother until I was nine, by then he was thirteen, a tall lanky thing with long hair braided back, he looked like our father , yet had the eyes and soul of his mother, which haunted and hurt both my father and mother deeply. No one had seen her since she left, she had a close family friend bring Elliot down on occasions to spend time with father.

Like you Embry, my brother was a shy individual in the beginning. Choosing to observe others rather than speak. He always hung in the back never hanging with the other lads. He didn't even lash out when people would mumble and call him a bastard. He'd just hang his head and keep on walking. It always pissed me off. How could anyone be okay with tormenting such a sweet young soul, like the one I knew my brother possessed? So one day I asked him about it.

~Flashback~

A young Billy sat next to his brother on the beach watching the waves thrash and a few kids from Forks playing around in the sea.

"Elliot?"Billy said.

"Yeah." Was the boy's soft reply.

"Why don't you ever say anything when the other boys call you a bastard? Doesn't it piss you off? I mean come on you're the nicest person I know and you're Chief's son! His first born son at that! You shouldn't have to take that crap from anyone!"

Elliot sighed and lay back in the sand. Billy had struck a nerve. Setting the path that Elliot would soon take. "Does it really matter what people here call me? Sure, it hurts, but after a while you get used to it. They're not doing anything except telling the truth. The first son." He laughed. "Yeah, right. I'm no one's son. I don't even call Ephraim "father", he's just the guy that got my mom pregnant and broke her heart before leaving her for my Aunt. I can't hate them when all the things they say are true! But I hate being seen here as some future chief. You're the First son everyone says, Future chief of the Tribe! You've got Black blood running through your veins boy! Be a MAN! Take Your Place! Take A Stand! They all say, taunting me telling me how to fucking act! I could give two fucks about this tribe! What has this tribe ever done for me? For my mother, who's done more for this tribe in the past than anyone could ever repay! Where are the apologies?! The respect?! Fuck these people! I don't even carry the fucking "Black" name, I am a CALL! Elliot Fucking Call!

When it's time for me to be a man, to take a stand, it won't be for the Quileute! It'll be for the nation that provides for me, that took me in, taught me their ways, gave me an identity, a meaning and showed me the respect the grandson of the Chief deserves! I am Makah! They have stood up for me since I was born! They never left my side and I won't leave theirs!"

Billy looked on in shock as his brother stood with his back facing him. Elliot turned and let out a huff of air. He walked forward with a new purpose a new feeling, not knowing that it was the awakening of the Spirit War, the Wolf Spirit that lie within him and something more. Elliot placed a gentle hand upon Billy's shoulder. "I'm sorry brother. I have nothing against you. You have accepted me and cherished me as if we shared the same mother. It's time to face the facts Billy. I can…I will NEVER be a black. Maybe one day when I am older and wiser I can forgive these people and father and be Chief here. But until then I think it's best if I don't come here anymore. There's just too much hate…to much pain here for me here."

~Flashback End~

"I never saw my brother after that day…We'd spoken through brief letters, but after a while I stopped writing to focus more on becoming the next chief of my tribe." Billy hung his head after that. He wish he could tell the boy more about his father, but he only knew his brother briefly and never tried after becoming an adult to pursue a relationship. He was too busy putting the tribe first and wooing Sarah.

Embry took a seat, he'd always assumed that one of his friends father's was his dad, now here he was in front of his imprint, his son, and his pack, as the truth was laid before him. This was all just too much…way too much. Bella sighed to herself. What a mess! She could slightly feel the pain, the sadness, and the anger pouring off Embry from their partial imprint. As much as she'd like to stay as far away from the pack as possible in the tiny space of Kim and Jared's living room, she had be with Embry, he needed her at his side during this time. So, Bella reluctantly moved from her spot on the wall to sit with the man who'd loved her from a far. She took his hand within her much smaller conveying without words that she was there.

Andreas' who was now happily clothed in some cut-offs, also felt a strong need to be near the man, that was now also suspected to be his father. Fuck it, this man was his father, he saw too much of himself in this man. But if they needed proof they could always have Ali make Olivia perform a paternity test. Without hesitating Andreas left Ivy's side to sit on the other side of his dad.

Tiffany was happy to see Andreas and Bella coming around. Andreas looked so much like Elliot, it nearly brought her to tears, but she'd have to cry later. It was now time for her to finish the story.

"I haven't been the greatest mother to you Embry…Don't." she said, stopping the denial of her words from leaving her son's mouth. "It's true. I've lied to you by keeping secrets, hoping I could protect you, but mostly myself. As Billy stated your father was a shy man, hell it took him two whole months for him to work up the nerves and ask me out! But, when he finally did it was the happiest day of my life. I'd liked your father for a while. We'd grown up together as children. He was a sweet boy, much like his mother. He was always people out in any way he could. He helped teach the smaller children our native language, he help set up for tribe events and bonfires, he tutored our peers after school, and helped his mom cook dishes to take around to the less fortunate and the elderly.

But after he came back home from his last visit with his father and Billy, he changed. No longer was your father the overly shy boy he was when he left. The shy boy who'd asked me out a week before he left. No. This Elliot was different. He stood and walked around the rez with confidence. He took on more leadership roles within the tribe. He spoke with authority and a voice the commanded respect. He wasn't a boy anymore, but a man.

Two years later everything was still going great. Your father was starting to focus on becoming chief and we were still going strong, I had to beat some asses along the way, but they got the message after a while, your daddy was mine. Then one day your dad disappeared. He was gone for weeks. Everyone in the tribe had searched high and low for him. Your grandmother and I were at a lost, where could he have gone? What could've happened to him? Sure he'd be gone from time to time but never longer than a day. I remember crying my eyes out beside his mother for days as we prayed and hoped for his safe return.

After the fourth week he returned with your great grandfather at his side. He was taller about 6'7 in height. He was huge with muscles that bunched up with every move, but he was lean like you with russet skin, and tribal markings painted over his flesh similar to your own. When I saw him, I bolted off the porch and jumped straight into his arms. We just stood there holding each other while I cried and thanked all the spirits that he'd come home unharmed.

For the briefest moment we pulled away, and our eyes met for the first time since we'd last seen each other. Your father had imprinted. It was in that moment that your grandmother realized that her son had phased. He was a spirit warrior now, protecting his tribe from what the Quileute called the Cold Ones. This only proved that he was indeed the Alpha of not only the Quileute nation but also the Makah nation as well.

You see these markings are only passed down to Makah chiefs. They don't have the ability to phase, but they do have the ability to use magic beyond a shaman's wildest dream to protect the people from not only vampires, but other evil beings that could do us harm. We are still unsure of how and why our chiefs were blessed with such markings and abilities. I don't know what you are able to do…Your father never allowed me to see him perform any magic.

Anyways, your father became chief after his grandfather passed away. Your grandmother passed a year after your great grandfather in a horrible accident. Your father was depressed for a long time after that, but I was at his side helping him through it all. On his 25th birthday we found out we were pregnant with you. He was so excited to be a dad." Tiffany began to cry a little.

"He'd always come in after a long day of working and patrolling to lay on my growing belly just to talk to you…he…he would always tell you about his day, how he was so excited to be a dad, how he couldn't wait to hold you in his arms or hear you say papa, and most importantly…how much he loved you, God that man loved you so much and your weren't even here yet. Two months after we discovered we were pregnant…your father was dead and so were all our hopes and dreams of the future."

The pack talked amongst them, glad to know the truth about how Embry was Alpha and most except Aiyanna and Jacob, where happy Embry got the chance to hear the truth of his father. That he wasn't just some unwanted bastard child the rez had made him out to be. He had been wanted and he had been loved by the man who had a helping hand in creating him.

Embry couldn't stop the tears that raced down his perfectly chiseled face. He had a dad. This whole time, he had a dad who wanted him…who…who had loved him. That's all he had ever wanted and he had it only to have it taken away before he could even experience the love of his own father. But why and how did he pass so suddenly.

"How?" Bella look up at Embry and gave him a reassuring nod of her head. "How did dad die mom?" it felt good to be able to finally say the word "dad" even though he never got the chance to meet him.

"He met a dragon." And the room went silent.

Okay, so here we are part two complete. I was going to just break this into two separate chapters after I realized how much I would need to explain. But I've had this chapter on hold for months and you all deserve a longer chapter. I hope you all enjoyed it. After the next chapter we will be done with all the explaining and we can get back to the story at hand.

Please as always beautiful people review and let me know what you think. I love you all and I hope you all enjoyed this chapter and will go on to read the next upcoming chapter.
