Heh... Currently have 69 reviews on this story, and that made me chuckle seeing as, that's basically what this story is about LOL
ok, now the fun stuff...
I am trying to do something in the story so bear with me, everything will play a part... *coughcougheventuallycough*
And just like art class, I fail at this too...
ALSO ONE QUICK NOTE ABOUT REQUESTS (while the thought's in my head 'cause I been getting a lot of requests) - If I don't do them or turn you down, it's probably because I already have another idea in my head or feel to uncomfortable writing it. Other than that, I'll listen to your request even for oneshots. Don't be afraid to ask me for a request, there's only a few things I wont do.
The demon in white bowed to his master as the other spoke.
"I want you to follow him." Those six words made Ghirahim freeze in his place.
"You set him free?"
"Only temporarily. Why break him when he can do it himself?" Demise smiled viciously.
"Why would you send him out there?" The demon lord asked just curious about the bizarre action.
"Well, I was walking through the dungeons the other day when I heard him talking to someone. At first I was furious as to how someone could break into the castle without my knowledge. But then as I turned the corner I was almost puzzled to find him speaking to himself. He believes so badly that there's still humans out there that he has created her in his head and the more reality got to him, the closer that belief did as well. No he is searching for hope, his mind has created a form that only he can see." Demise explained.
"He's going crazy." Ghirahim summed up.
"I fear your pet will not be around much longer. He is going insane trying to find her. I sent him out East towards his fallen home. When he comes across it, he will see the truth and that will break him. I want you to follow him and make sure the small group of sheikah don't locate him. Drive them away from him, but whatever you do, you must not let them meet. Understood?"
"Yes master." Ghirahim bowed again and disappeared with a snap.
I followed him for an hour so far and I never realized how defenseless he really was without that damn sword. I will admit, it was amusing to watch him toil and struggle through the dead forests. I sigh and leap from one branch to another high above his head keeping a close eye on him.
I hate this child. But I guess I should scold myself for believing his lies, he played innocent and scared until we gave him a little bit of freedom. And right when my master and I allow him to roam freely, he tries to escape! I did love him when he was the obedient child, but now that he's the hero, I hate him.
I do pity him though. He thinks he can find his friends and his home? He believes they will be just fine? He's only putting himself out there to be broken again.
He is right though, Hylia still does exist and the proof is all around. Even if master had taken all her power, the world would've collapsed. He has 90 percent of her power, and some must remain with her in order for the world to stay in existence.
But even if he found Hylia, she is not the same girl he knows. She is not the 'Zelda' girl he knew, she is now Hylia, 'Zelda' exists no more. But she would know him perfectly. She would most likely take him away from us and heal him only to send him back into battle.
My skychild is safer with us than her. Yeas, we punish him, but naughty boys need to be punished. We do give him a home, and some food, she would merely heal him and send him back out without a second thought. That was the flaw in her plan. She sent a human to do a goddesses job and now she is no longer powerful. She is as weak as the humans she created.
I freeze as he comes to halt from his previous running. I can hear him panting and I can hear the rapid beat of his heart. Master's right: he wont last much longer.
He drops to his knees and I smile in triumph. But it is short-lived as that damn defiance shines through once more. He stands and starts to walk again, his outfit now torn in numerous places.
He is almost to the clearing where his previous home lies. I can't help but lick my lips in anticipation. Once he sees the broken ruble, he will fall.
Just a little further...
Link fell to his knees in exhaustion, his lungs dragging in sharp painful breaths of air, his heart pounding so hard he felt like it would burst through his chest at any moment.
'No!' He yelled at himself internally. 'I can't stop now!'
Of course he didn't expect Skyloft to be in perfect condition, but he could find a bird statue and he could get up there at least and call his bird, pray she'd come and catch him, and he'd recover from the abuse he had been given. Once he was healthy enough, he would find Zelda!
That was what she told him in the dungeon, and he would follow that plan. Zelda had said they were in the mountains of Lake Floria, and all he needed to do was find the opening.
He stood once more and wobbled away, the skin tight outfit he wore was torn, and it wasn't like he cared, but if he got caught, there would be hell to pay.
He took in a deep breath as he climbed over some of the rubble that most likely came from the sky. None of the islands were truly stable (besides Skyloft) and it was common for them to fall at random times.
But nothing he did could prepare him for what he saw next.
THE END IS NEAR!
The story has reached its final few chapters, and I thought this would be more than 10 chapters, but nope. I'm lucky if I reach 10 chapters. So, I predict 2-3 more chapters, until the end. The final chapter would be a drawing to have that chapter dedicated to you.
Rules? However many times you reviewed is how many times your name will be put in the hat.
What else?
OH YEAH! Sorry for late chapter update!
I know... I suck...
