Dr. Pitt's words hit Gibbs like a ton of bricks. Tony had suffered complications during the surgery to remove his kidney. His second major operation in two days. Tony's body had already been through so much before the accident and now he kept having all these complications. How many more could his body take before it simply gave out and Gibbs had to visit another child's grave every week.

"What happened?" Gibbs asked voice laced with fear and rage.

"As you probably know the plague can damage your heart, lungs, and kidney's." Dr. Pitt replied.

"Yeah why does that matter?" Gibbs demanded.

"It seems Agent DiNozzo's right kidney was not functioning at one hundred percent." Dr. Pitt explained.

"You're saying Tony's been in kidney failure and never got around to telling me?!" Gibbs growled.

"He probably didn't know himself. His left one was fine until the accident and the right one was probably only down to eighty percent." Dr. Pitt explained.

"So he's gonna be fine?" Gibbs asked.

"I'm afraid not. The repeated stress and trauma to his body over the past two days has caused him to fall into total renal failure." Dr. Pitt explained.

"What the hell are you telling me?!" Gibbs demanded.

"Tony needs a kidney transplant." Dr. Pitt replied.

"Then get him one!" Gibbs ordered.

"It's not that simple Agent Gibbs we can put him on the transplant but as of right now he would be at the bottom of the list." Dr. Pitt explained.

"That is a bunch of bullshit!" Gibbs yelled shoving Dr. Pitt to the ground.

"Look Agent Gibbs I know this is rough but it's just the way it is. I am sorry." Dr. Pitt replied pulling himself up.

"I thought you at least gave a shit about him! No I thought you cared! You don't! You're just like everyone else! Aren't you?!" Gibbs demanded as he stormed out of the room.

"I'm glad you handled that Bradley." Dr. Goldman said nervously.

"I have seen Gibbs freaked out and in a rage but I have never seen him like that." Dr. Pitt replied.

"Poor guy must be really upset." Dr. Goldman replied.

"Yeah did something happen to make this situation worse than others? I mean he is actually worse than he was when Tony had the plague." Dr. Pitt asked.

"Yeah I think I caused all this." Jimmy replied.

Everybody turned and faced Jimmy. He knew he had no choice but to tell the whole story. Nervously he explained the incidents the day before. How he had lashed out on Gibbs and how Gibbs had actually cried when it was all said and done. About Gibbs ending up being sedated in the parking lot. Leading to Jimmy's own breakdown.

"That sounds kinda harsh Jimmy." Abby replied.

"Yeah what is wrong with you? The man just relived the loss of his wife and little girl and all you are thinking about is Tony?!" Ziva demanded.

"Yeah a man who now has to have a kidney transplant and has been through two major surgeries in two days!" McGee cried.

"Guys please just calm down. We can sort this all out later." Jack pleaded.

"Jackson's right now if you'll excuse me I need to go check on Jethro." Ducky informed them.

Gibbs found himself sitting on the hood of his truck. He had tears pouring down his cheeks. Tony was in trouble and if he died it would be all his fault. He just wanted to be back in DC eating leftover birthday cake and watching old movies with his son. Not hoping his boy would get a kidney in time. Yet another thing that would be his fault. Shannon had wanted to donate her organs but she was to smashed up in the wreck. The doctors had asked him about Kelly but he had not allowed it. For the now selfish feeling reason that he just didn't want Kelly's body to be cut up and divided among others. Meaning it was likely that another family had lost their baby because of his selfishness. It would only be fair if they didn't find a kidney for Tony in time. Gibbs was so lost that he didn't see a person sitting down beside him.

"Jethro are you alright?" Ducky asked.

"I really fucked up this time Duck." Gibbs replied.

"Oh Jethro this is not your fault." Ducky assured.

"Yeah it is I went crazy on him when I should have been getting him medical attention. Now he may be dying!" Gibbs cried,

"You can work things out when he is feeling better." Ducky replied.

"He won't feel better." Gibbs muttered.

"Yes he will Jethro he always does." Ducky replied.

"How many more times can he though?" Gibbs asked.

"I don't knew but I know it's not his time. I can always since these things." Ducky replied.

"Why the hell is everyone spouting the bullshit today?!" Gibbs demanded as he stormed off again.

Ducky called for his friend to come back and eventually ended up chasing after him. Gibbs ignored it as he raced back into the hospital. He wound up returning to the waiting room outside the ICU. Jack was working on calming down McGee and Ziva.

"He was just stressed!" Ziva yelled.

"It's still no excuse for how he treated Tony!" Tim shot back

"Guys please! Gibbs feels bad! No matter what happened it's in the past and Gibbs is hurting as much as we are!" Abby cried.

"Abby is right we all need to relax and just be supportive of Tony." Jack replied.

"I'm sorry! All of this is my fault! I know that okay! I am sorry! Just please forgive me! I feel bad enough!" Gibbs cried.

"Leroy you weren't supposed to hear that. I just wanted to get it out of them before somebody got hurt or said something they'd regret." Jack explained.

"Why it's true." Gibbs sighed.

"There you are Jethro. If you are going to be in the hospital. You need to relax and calm down." Ducky warned.

"I'll try to." Gibbs replied.

Gibbs and Ducky walked over to the others. Together they tried to sort out the crazy and mixed up emotions they had. Had to deal with over the past couple of days. Until the high-pitched scream of a heart monitor down the hall interrupted them. Seconds later the door flew open and Jimmy ran in completely pale and freaked out.

"Are you alright Mr. Palmer?" Ducky asked.

"Tony's heart stopped!" Jimmy cried before collapsing into the fetal position.

A/N: Will Tony survive this time? I am planning on ending this story fairly soon. Just two to three more regular chapters and an epilogue. Though at the rate I am writing this that could be months. Anyway thanks for reading and please review. Also if you are following "And Tony Makes Four" I'd appreciate it if you voted in my new poll.
