Alrighty then here's Chapter Two :D

"So the bitch tricked the new Laird of your dad's clan into thinking you were dead?" Jessica asked incredulously.

"That's what I hear," I said. We took the day off while the other soldiers did minor practice. Jessica, Melinda, and I were currently lunching at the ironically named Jewish dinner Cas's. Ironic because of our angel… acquaintance.

"What are you gonna do?" Melinda asked, picking at her fries. "Warrior demons are the fiercest most feared demon race. All other beings are scared of them. When I tell my syrnn they're sure to leave," she said.

"I know I am half one remember?" I said. The siren was about to say something else when a guy walked up, to the table with obvious intent to flirt in his eyes.

"Hey, ladies," he started eyeing Jessica.

Without looking up se said, "Okay even if we weren't outta your league, I'm married, she's married, and she's in a committed relationship." Jessica retorted holding up her hand with the wedding ring glittering on it.

He glanced at Melinda and she nodded agreeing with Jessica. He glanced pleadingly at me and I pulled out my necklace with my wedding and engagement ring on it.

"Damn," he muttered walking off.

"Hey, Lindsey, why don't you wear your rings on your hand?" Jessica asked taking a sip of her coffee.

"I'm a leftie and protection reasons," I said shrugging, "Now back to our current crisis at hand."

"The sirens will more than likely leave," Melinda repeated.

I sighed, "If they feel they must then so be it. I know the Aesir and Vanir will stay. The few angels we have on our side…"

"But if the sirens leave we lose a whole battalion," Jessica said.

"We may have to call in some less than desirable relatives," I said.

Jessica blinked taking in what I said. "No," she said flatly, "Why would you even want to call them?"

"Who?" Melinda asked.

"Demons."

"What?!"

"Look," I said interrupting their banter, "The elf said I would have to accept who I am. My demon half."

"He didn't say call up the family for a reunion! Hell, even though your married to Neal, Typhus has a bounty out for you since he can't leave his kingdom now!" Jessica hissed.

"Really?" I said.

"Yeah? Well, I'm not in touch with the family but I get updates from the kings and queens and the pit," she said.

I started, "Will that bastard never learn?" Jess just shrugged.

"Trust me half the Underworld is just as sick of it as you."

"That I somehow doubt."

"What was your plan anyway?" Mindy asked. Getting us back on topic.

"Well, the boys have the knife that bitch Ruby stole from me."

"Oh you hated that knife," Jessica said.

"It's the principal of the thing. Besides she only wanted it because it was mikokai made."

"Psh. What demon doesn't want a weapon mikokai made?" Jessica pointed out.

"I think with Neal's help we can con a few demons onto our side…" I sat there pondering names.

"You are seriously thinking about this," Jessica hissed.

"Unless you have a better plan, yes," I shot back then caught a glimpse of two very familiar forms out the window. "Damn," I muttered sinking into the seat.

"What?" Jessica asked turning in hers.

"Don't look!" I yelped. Too late. They spotted us. Two feds I didn't know but who knew me thanks to Peter and Neal, where acting as my guards today.

Unfortunately for them I was married to a con and knew some of his tricks. Namely in matters of disappearing for however long that may be.

"Hi guys," I muttered pathetically up at them.

"Your highness, we were assigned to protect you. How do you propose we do that when you keep disappearing?" Thing One asked.

The second they said 'your highness' recognition swept the entire room. Murmurs of wonder at a queen not to mention a reigning queen with magic, was here.

"Shit," I hissed, "Now you lot have done it. Every lass for herself!" I shouted as the mob began to spell the agents trying to fend them off. It was cute really. Mindy, lucky lass she is, sang her way through, the crowd parting from her notes like the Red Sea for Moses. We tried to follow but this chick brung up the rear… well this chick and Thing Two, and were out of range for her soft siren spell.

You know how I said she parted the sea of people like Moses? Well they were the Jews (again irony not lost on me) and we were the Egyptians crushed by the waves.

As people requested autographs, snapped pics, and other fan crap. I glanced at my arm where Slitherfang practically lived now days, doubling as a bracelet and familiar.

"Right, Fangs, time to wake up," I whispered softly.

The first shrieks echoed from around us in a ring of screams. They quickly moved away as Slitherfangs rested in the palm of my hand hissing and… well baring fangs.

I grabbed Thing Two who was also cringing away from my familiar and tore for the door.

"What do we do now?" Thing One asked when we hit the streets, Fangs safely wrapped around my arm again.

"Run like hell!" I said taking off. Jessica and Melinda were already gone and my boots were hitting pavement hard and fast.

000

I got home and leaned over gasping for breath. I stood up still gasping.

"Problem?" came a smooth voice from across the room.

"Hey, babe," I said giving a little grin.

"How was your day?" he asked with an air of sarcasm.

"Same ol' same ol'," I said.

"Running from your guards all day?"

"Oh you know how it is. Everyone knows you're royalty and you gotta run… fast."

"Don't know personally. My disclosure as your husband and the Royal Consort is still under wraps. But I do know how it feels to run from the feds. But, you, need to stay with these guys," he said kissing my forehead. "I'm just trying to look out for you. It's my job to do that you know."

"Yeah, well, I'm a mikokai warrior queen and you are my protectorate. That makes it my job to take care of you."

"Chivalry dies hard," he said.

"Yeah so does eons of breeding and instinct."

"Hnn," Neal grunted, "Don't see me slipping my protection detail."

"Babe, you are a damn good con. The best human con I have ever seen. And while the Guards are human they have one slight advantage. Magic," I said pecking his perfect lips. "So if you are able to slip them I will remove your protection detail."

He contemplated a moment, "Could I bring in help?"

"There are two Imperial Druid Guards. You may have one accomplice in this challenge. Choose wisely," I smirked though I knew who he was going to pick right off.

Neal smirked and held out a hand to seal the bet. I smiled, "Don't you know that isn't how you seal a deal with a demon?" I said grabbing ahold of his shirt and pulling him in for a fierce kiss.

We pulled apart slowly savoring the moment.

"Remind me to make more deals with you," he breathed. I chuckled and pushed him playfully.

"Go start your plotting with Moz, love," I laughed.

Well there she is hope you guys like it :D
