A/N: This story might be a little short 'cause I can't check my word counts. Please bear with me, I'm doing all of it from my iPhone and it's really easier said than done. Thanks!

Regina's high heels clicked across the tiled hallway floors. She was already late to her next class, but she didn't mind. After her breakdown last night, she had come to her senses and decided to confront Emma about the night before.

"Miss Swan." Regina caught the blonde in the middle of the hallway, skipping class like she used to before her new girlfriend changed that. The thought of that was something Regina wasn't looking forward to discussing. Emma flinched noticeably when Regina called for her and turned slowly towards the dark haired girl coming her way.

"So I'm Miss Swan again?" Emma smirked cockily. God, how that damned smile infuriated Regina... But it also intoxicated her and Emma knew the effect she had on her which only added to Regina's internal rage.

"Yes," Regina said bluntly with no hint of a smile on her own face, "I wanted to speak to you about last night." Emma sighed and rolled her eyes.

"God. Come on, Gina. Just let it go. We had a great thing together... But you left for several months and you didn't call me back, send me any letters... Nothing. You disappeared and you expected me to wait around for you?" The blonde licked her lips, "I was fighting for us but the more I fought, the more you pushed me away to the point where you were a completely different person the one time you answered your phone."

The brunette stared at the floor silently.

"Emma, I'm... I'm sorry," she replied silently, "But I swear to you, not a day went by that I was not thinking of you," Regina reached over to take Emma's hands in her own, "I still have not stopped. You are my everything. You are the sun, the stars and the sky to me. I wish I could tell you what happened, but I can't right now. Em, I'm still deeply in love with you and I know we are not finished. Alright? I love you." Emma opened her mouth to respond but was interrupted.

"Babe?" Emma let go of Regina's hands quickly and crossed her arms together. Down the hall came none other than Miss Ruby Lucas. Regina did everything in her power to not attack the taller girl that was now standing by her. What she felt for Ruby was nothing short of pure hatred. She couldn't remember the last time she hated someone so. Ruby took her long, gangly fingers and intertwined them with Emma's, blatantly ignoring Regina's presence.

"What're you doing here with her? You can't miss another class, sweetheart." Ruby pulled slightly on Emma's arm. Regina felt a burning, bubbling feeling in her stomach at the sight of someone else touching Emma, who was glancing apologetically at Regina.

"Go before your guard dog attacks me." Regina spat and turned on her heel to leave.

"The only person close to a dog here is you, bitch." She heard Ruby sneer at her. Regina turned back around and quickly walked towards the taller brunette and stopped two feet in front of her. She opened her mouth to say something but was caught off guard by Emma wedging herself in between them.

"Alright, that's enough. Regina, just go." Emma said silently to the floor.

"Are you really-"

"Just go!"

The shorter brunette nodded and sighed, walking away to her next class. "It's not over, Miss Lucas." She said over her shoulder as she left.
