Rose sat up in bed, reading through a book. Well, trying to read a book, anyways. Sighing, she placed it down on her bedside table, entwisting her hands together as she looked down at them. She should've be asleep- heck, she should have been asleep nearly two hours ago. But alas, she sat up in her bed, her mind unable to sleep as the days events flashed continuously through her head.

She and the Doctor had landed in London, 2012 for the start of the Olympics, only hours before the Torch would be running towards the Stadium, lighting the Olympic Flame, the start of the 2012 Olympics. However, their day didn't go exactly as planned. They soon found out many children were being kidnapped, as well as a few pets and a stray animal.

Rose looked around the room as the days activities ran through her head, the hardships and happiness that came with it. She looked toward her door to see it the slightly ajar, the sound of shoes scrapping against metal filling the corridor. Rose quickly turned to her bedside table, flicking the lamp off before diving under the covers once again, pulling them up to her neck. She peeked out the corner of her eye to see the door had opened fully as the light from the corridor flooded the entire room, the form of the Doctor just about see-able through her squinting eyes. She watched as he stepped inside the room quietly, closing the door so nothing could seen. She heard faint movements from inside her bedroom, specifically the sound of shoes dropping against her woolly floor.

Rose's heart rate increased when she felt the dip in her bed, a pair of arms winding around her tightly, a head pressing against her upper back. She moved to turn around, the arms around her slackening as she faced the intruder fully. "I thought you were asleep," he told her sheepishly. Although she couldn't see him, he could see her as her eyes rested on what he thought was his cheek. Human sight, he thought.

"Can't sleep," she sighed, bringing her arms around him as she snuggled into his chest.

"Why's that?" he asked, hugging her tightly again once she was comfortable.

"Nothing," she said dismissively, breathing in the scent of... just him. His scent, which she loved. Knowing he was giving her a 'don't give me that' look, she sighed. Just thinking about what happened today, is all," she murmured as she pulled away slightly. "All the kids being taken away and stuff."

The Doctor gave a stiff chuckle, replying, "I like the fact you just referred to me as a kid."

"Yeah, well, you can act like one sometimes," she told him. "Like today, when you started eating out of the jam jar," she chastised.

"I didn't think they'd mind!" the Doctor defended himself. "The jar was just there, okay? Besides, it's not like I don't do it here," he gave a shrug as she laughed. "But really, you don't have to worry, Rose," he kissed her forehead. "I'm right here."

She nodded as her arms around him tightened. "So what are you doing then?" she asked after a few moments passed. "You don't usually come into my room and snuggle with me while you think I'm asleep," she told him. "So what's wrong with you?"

"Am I not allowed to cuddle with you?" he asked her innocently, knowing she wasn't going to buy it. "Same thing, to be honest," he told her honestly. Nearly honestly anyway. The storm he'd told her about, she didn't tell her all of it. For instance, he didn't tell her the storm was coming soon. Very soon. The words of the Beast ran through his head continuously. "You will die in battle very soon... you will die in battle very soon... you will die in battle every soon..." To say he was scared was an understatement. He was terrified. He'd only just gotten properly comfortable around her, truly happy after all these years. Now, he was going to have to go through the pain of loosing her. True, he knew someday he would lose her, but not this quickly. A conversation he had with Eliza once replayed in his mind, cancelling out the Beast's. "Make every moment count, okay, Gramps?" No... Rose couldn't die, Eliza said she wouldn't, she'd promised. Shaking his head slightly, he murmured to Rose, "Just about the storm I mentioned, that's all. Now, try and get to sleep?"

Sighing, Rose turned the two of them over so she was on top of him, a position he was actually really enjoying. "We're being protected, remember?" she told him, tracing his jaw line with her finger gently as she kissed his lips sweetly. "Eliza won't anything happen to me, nor us, you hear me?" He gave a small nod, burying his head in her shoulder. "But she can't protect you from aging, Rose," he told her weakly. He pulled away from her again, pressing their foreheads together. "She can't protect you from natural causes. One day, you will be taken away from me..." he told her. He leaned into the hand she placed on his cheek. It felt right, like it belonged there. It did, she belonged with him. She always had, even when he was all big ears and leather.

He fisted the tank top in his hands as he took her hand away, smashing his lips with hers as he rolled them over so he had trapped her under him, her hands running across his scalp in the most amazing way possible, the way that sent shivers up his spine as he grabbed her hips and downwards to her long legs, savouring each moment as they continued. The Doctor soon slid his tongue happily into her mouth, exploring her wet cavern as she moaned at the new presence, rolling them over again as she held him underneath her. Straddling his stomach, she leaned over him dominantly, lust etched into her featured as she kissed him again hungrily, her fingers fiddling clumsily with his shirt, undoing each one with subtle fingers.

He should stop this, he remembered thinking to himself. He should really stop this before it got too out of hand... why was that again? Why should he stop this? He needed this just as much as she did. The confirmation that the other was still there, they were still together. Rolling them over again, the TARDIS hummed happily in his mind as he felt himself get annoyed with the amount of clothes they were both wearing. Shrugging off his shirt, Rose's hands roamed his bare chest, memorising every ab, scar and dent in his torso she could. She moaned as he lifted her tank top over her head, sucking the very top of her breast as she clutched his hair, feeling herself getting hot and bothered.

The TARDIS watched in happiness as her Thief and Wolf continued these activities. She listened to every moan and groan that hitched and flew out of their swollen lips as the two finally became one, releasing their want. She watched as they moved together in their long dance of love, unwilling to stop as they clutched each others sweaty bodies, sliding together as they climbed the insanely high mountain together, getting higher and higher toward true happiness.

The cry they both finally emitted was blissful music to hear ears, her Thief collapsing upon her Wolf as the two panted heavily, him kissing her hot flesh every few seconds or so as she stroked his messy hair back and forth between her fingers, the feeling of their three hearts beating together slowly lulling her to sleep. The TARDIS smiled mentally as the Doctor joined her soon after, the sound of her single heart beating against his ear, the feeling of her bare skin against his, all making his smile softly as he slowly fell into deep sleep.
