The morning after…
Rose woke up in a daze. A warm, snuggled, satisfied daze, like a whole load had been lifted off her shoulders. She felt happy, warm, good, loved, warm, tingly, relaxed, warm… why was she so warm? She squinted an eye open, looking at her dimly lit room as she lifted her head slightly, but soon found she didn't have any energy to investigate further. Instead, she basked in the toasty warmness, snuggling her back further into it as she rested her head back on her comfortable pillow.
What happened next started her frozen for a few seconds. They was a small, lazy chuckle, then an arm that tightened around her middle, pulling her toward the source. Her heart raced. She then registered she was naked. Butt naked. Blood rose to her cheeks as the intruder placed loving kisses long her shoulder and neck, not noticing her stiffness.
The Doctor, he must have dropped her off at a pub so she could her mates… right? She must have gotten so bladdered she stumbled back to the home of a complete stranger. Yeah, that must be it, she thought as the stranger sucked a little on her neck, herself giving out a involuntary moan. Opening her eyes again, she noticed that her theory was defiantly out the window. She was in her bed, in her room, on the TARDIS… what would the Doctor think if he-
Rose's heart froze. The Doctor! She gave a small sigh of relief as memories of the night before flooded her mind, making her smile giddily as the arm tightened around her and she felt him snuggle into her, his cheek mashing with hers as he melted into her, some of his messy brown hair coming into her vision as she giggled. "Morning," he greeted softly as she shifted in his grasp.
"Morning," she replied happily, turning around in his arms to face him, slipping her arms around his neck as she looked into his deep brown eyes. Giving him a large smile, she leaned foreword, capturing his lips carefully with her own as she rolled them over so she was on top of them, feeling his firm arms secure her around the shoulder and upper back. She let him roll them again so he was in control, his hands going to her hips as he squeezed, making give another unintentional moan. He moved fro her lips to her cheek, jaw and neck, settling on her shoulder as she could feel him getting worked up, seriously worked up. Rose chuckled loudly. "Morning sex?" she questioned him as he groaned. "Seems awfully domestic of you."
"Domestic?" he asked her from her shoulder. "If this is what domestic is like, I don't think I mind it," he admitted, emitting another laugh from her. "Besides!" he exclaimed giving her another peck on the lips, then jumping from the bed in search of his clothes, Rose lying back and examined everything she couldn't the night before. "No time for all that human stuff," he continued. "Got places to go, planets to save! No time for that human stuff." She smiled at him when he turned to her, pulling up his trousers. "What?" he asked.
"Nothing," she replied with a content sigh. She looked down at her hands, intertwining them as he recovered his shirt from across the room. "Doctor?" she called, his head snapping up, worried to see the slight frown on her face. There was a long pause as he slowly made his way to her, sitting down on the bed like a child, scared of his angry mother as Rose picked her words carefully. "Should… should I be getting used to this?" she asked hesitantly, shyly. "Or is this just a… you know, a one time thing?"
The Doctor gave a wide smile as he crawled his way up the covers, lying fully on top of her, crushing her lips again. He slipped his tongue into her mouth, her hands flying to his hair, skimming through it roughly. He broke away so she could breath, kissing a sensitive stop he'd found on her chest. "Oh, don't worry, Rose Tyler," he told her, resting his chin on the top of her breast, looking up at her with a grin. "You should defiantly be getting used to this."
She wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer to her as she laughed. "Good," she replied. "'cause believe me, I'm going to want to relive last night everywhere," she added huskily.
"I… have no problem with that," the Doctor replied simply. The two lay in silence for a long while, breathing in the other's scent, relaxing in the other's arms. "Thank you," Rose whispered quietly to him as he kissed her neck. "Last night was…" she stuttered. "I don't even know, but it's a good don't know," she added.
"Trust me, Rose," the Doctor started, leaning away from her to button up his shirt up. "The pleasure was all mine."
The Doctor and Rose stood on the surface of a historical planet, humungous birds flying right over their heads as they watched, hand in hand. The sun was shining through the rocky, broken arches of the planet, making Rose's face light up beautifully. The Doctor looked over to her, a thin smile on his face. "How long are you going to stay with me?" he asked when she turned to see him staring at her.
She returned his smile, wrapping her arms around his neck happily as the birds continued to fly above their head. "Forever," she told him, kissing him with mirth as he slipped his arms around her middle, holding her to him tightly.
Little did they know, a young woman was watching them. She sat upon a cliff, counting down the days. She's been growing nervous, and she knew she screwed things up when she was nervous. Everything depended on her. The past, present and future. A bird flew over her head as she watched them encircle their arms around each other. Just one more day to go… she thought as she sighed, walking away from the happy couple, dimming a light blue before she disappeared entirely.
