When she saw him walking down the hallway towards her Sai's words from the other night started to ring in her years:"You already have a man in your life." But the moment he stopped in front of her so close that she almost could feel him she forgot everything. She stood up on her toes and whispered in his ear:"Go to my office I will be there in five minutes." He simply nodded and made his way towards the room.

He looked around and immediately understood why her house was such a mess. She had been here for a few days taking care of the shinobi who came back from missions. Sometimes he found it funny how all the male shinobi hated the hospital and hated going there but still they were reckless and in the end ended up there behind the white walls being taken care of a young nurse. But sometimes you had to be reckless in order to successfully complete your assignment. He got to the door where Sakura's name was written and got inside. As he got in he was greeted by the same mess as the one in her house.

Folders and papers were lying everywhere including the floor around the desk. There was spilled coffee on one of the folders and the air in the room was a bit stuffy due to the fact that a window hadn't been cracked open for a while. He wanted to tidy up a bit just to help her but he knew that if he touched her stuff she was going to cut off his hands later on so the only thing he could do is sit on her examination table. As he sat he remembered how he made love to her on this very table and smirked. He then realized that in the three weeks that they were seeing each other they had slept on every place possible in this office:"God we are like bunnies." He thought. But sadly he realized that if he aimed to change that he would lose her.

Sakura had made it very clear that their relationship was purely sexual and nothing else. Before he left Suna Kakashi had decided to test if she was ready for more and while on this path if he steps on the line she had set he would back off. He knew he was selfish but he needed her and he wasn't ready to let her go yet. As he was thinking those things the door swung open and a very tired Sakura entered the room and immediately threw herself in the chair behind the desk. He raised an eyebrow at her and when she didn't react he asked:"Are you okay? I know you are busy and if you want me to go I will." Sakura looked at him and smiled:"No I can go home now and you are taking me home and cooking for me like I have for you so many times. I am so tired that I am not sure how I am putting my words into sentences right now."

He smiled under his mask and quietly waited for her while she was changing out of her scrubs. When she got ready she stood by the door and invited him to go. He got up but threw a glance at her desk and the mess on it. Sakura grunted:"I told the cleaning lady to clear it up. Come on I want to go now." Kakashi just shrugged and followed her out. Once they were on the street he felt he had to ask her:"When was the last time you slept?" She took some time with her answer:" Last night I got four hours before Kotetsu broke down my door from knocking." Kakashi laughed:"Why did he do that?" Sakura took a deep breath before continuing:"Izumo was in the hospital."

They continued their light conversation until they got to her house. Once they entered she started giving him instructions:"I bought groceries yesterday food is in the fridge. I don't care what you cook as long as it's not ramen. I have been eating that for four days now. You can clear the table just put all the folders on the shelves. I will take a long shower. So have fun." She gave him a quick kiss on his masked lips and made her towards her bedroom. He smiled at the fact that she gave him a kiss as a thank you and got to the task he had.

Sakura was reborn under the hot spray of the shower. She was tired when she got home but now she could feel her muscles relaxing and she felt better. She wished she could see the amusing sight of Kakashi cooking but right now she preferred the shower. But even her tired state couldn't keep her away from the thought:"I have a man in my kitchen cooking for me." To any other normal person they would be a couple but she was pretending to be delusional and still think of her and him a s friends. The weeks where he wasn't here she was thinking if she could except a man in her life as something more that a friend.

In reality she was craving the intimacy of a relationship. Sex not being a factor, she wanted someone to go every evening. Someone to wait for her when she went on missions or wait for while she finishes her shift at the hospital, man to take her in his arms while she is sleeping and hold during the during the night. She knew very well she wanted these things. Every woman her age wanted that. But for her there was this small spark of fear in her mind that made her back off for so long. She always feared that she would get involved too much and in the end lose what she had. She could say that she learned from her mistakes but she started learning too late. After Sasuke had broken her heart and Daichi had died. She knew that her heart had too much hurt. Also she was certain if her heart gets another hit it would break into the smallest pieces from which it couldn't recover.

Kakashi had already started dinner when she came out in her silk robe combing her wet hair. She came to him and smelled the soup boiling in the pot:"It smells nice. I didn't know you had it in you to cook." He smirked and then turned to her while stirring the liquid in the pot:"I don't rely on you when it comes to my survival with food." She made a small laugh. In that moment she was so attractive and pure that he took her in his arms kissed how and passionately. He felt her heartbeat close to his chest and smiled. He was able to make her heart so fast. When he let go she still had her eyes closed and she took a deep breath before saying:"To be honest I missed that." Both of them fell silent after those words. But Kakashi decided to make a step and simply said while taking her in his arms:"Me too."

They had a nice dinner both of them catching up on the time when they were apart then Sakura got up to clear the dishes and clean them but Kakashi grabbed her hands and stopped her:"Don't worry I will clean. You are tired and I can see that. You can go to bed I will come in five minutes." She nodded slightly while closing her eyes to admit to her defeat and went to her bedroom. It didn't take him that long to clear the table and clean the plates but when he into the dark room he found Sakura already sound asleep under the covers. He removed his own clothes and when he got into the bed she moved close to him and placed her head on his chest. He wrapped his hand around her shoulder and felt her sound breath as she was sleeping and feeling relaxed he soon fell asleep also.

In the morning Sakura woke up pressed against Kakashi's body. She smiled at the thought that he had held her in his arms throughout the whole night and slowly got up careful not to wake him up. She got into the kitchen and started to prepare herself a cup of nice coffee. She was blessing her decision to take the day off today. As she was massaging her neck she didn't feel Kakashi creep up behind her and take that task himself. She moaned in pleasure and turned around to face him.

His hair was even messier from the sleep, he was wearing only pants and his bare chest and arms were tempting her to touch them. She moved closer to him and placed her hands on his chest and purred in his ear:"Good morning." He smiled at while his hands crept down her back. Sakura was feeling so comfortable at this moment. She felt that this moment should never end. And that made her feel scared. Scared that she let her feelings get the better of her once again. She didn't even realize when that had happened. But one thing was sure she wasn't going to let her heart suffer once more.
