Thank you, Dark Mist, for your hilarious Review! I hope you didn't jump off a cliff too soon...
Anyway, here's the chapter. Enjoy the Duel: Astral VS Dark Mist!

How could Number 96 have become human? I think, staring in shock at the evil Number.

"Surprised to see me, Astral?" Dark Mist chuckles. "I thought that I would come by and ruin your happiness. It's hard to believe that one so stupid could get a date."

Why would he care about that?
I wonder.

"Anyway, I am here to Duel you! Right now!" Dark Mist says.

Alexis backs up uncertainly. "Who is this guy?" she asks me.

"He is evil." I reply, glaring at my black twin. "I suggest that you back up. Things are going to get…damaged."

She gives me a confused look but backs away anyway.

I turn towards Yuma. "Yuma, I wish to handle this Duel by myself."

Yuma grins and nods. "Sure. I know you can win, Astral!"

A crowd of puzzled students gather to watch.

Dark Mist's and my Duel Disks appear on our arms. We don't need Duel Gazers. "Let's Duel!" we shout.

On his first turn, my opponent managed to Summon himself: Number 96: Dark Mist.

"What are you going to do, Astral?" he taunts. He cackles evilly.

Our Life Points are 3300-2000. The Duel is not going in my favor…

But even so, I am feeling the Flow, and I refuse to give up! "I draw!" I say, pulling a card from my Deck. "I Summon Celestial Wolf in Attack Mode."
Celestial Wolf: Level 4; ATK: 1300, DEF: 1000.

"I activate Celestial Wolf's special ability. When one Wolf is out on the Field, it howls to Summon a second Celestial Wolf!" I say. A second wolf appears next to its packmate.

"Wait— you never had this card!" Dark Mist exclaims.

I don't answer him. "I Overlay my two Level 4 Celestial Wolves and build the Overlay Network!"

"Here it comes!" I hear Yuma exclaim excitedly. "Utopia!"

"I Xyz Summon, Celestial Warrior!"

"Huh?!" Yuma says. "Hey, I don't have that card in my Deck! Where did you get that, Astral?"

"From…" my voice trails off. "I don't know."

Yuma falls over. "You mean you just somehow got it?!"

I nod.

"Oooh…" Yuma sinks lower from out of which I guess is exasperation.

I turn my attention to the Duel. "When Celestial Warrior is Summoned, its effect nullifies all of my opponent's Monster's effects for one turn only!"

"Uh-oh." Dark Mist's eyes grow extremely wide.

"That means that Number 96 can be destroyed by a normal Monster!" Yuma yells, jumping high. "Way to go, Astral!"

"Yes, but—" Dark Mist laughs.

"I'd appreciate it if you would just tell me. Please stop laughing." I tell him.

Number 96 makes a strange face. "Before I was so rudely interrupted, I was saying that—" his voice rises until he sounds like a maniac again. "—even with your Celestial Warrior's ability, its Attack is not more than my Dark Storm's!"

"That does not concern me." I say.

"Overconfident? I'll change that once you are DESTROYED, Astral! DESTROYED!"

"How lame can this guy get…?" Shark mutters.

Dark Mist's laughter fills my ears as I fall down, my Life Points reduced to a mere 100. I feel sore all over.

"You probably haven't even owned that Deck of yours for very long." Number 96 sneers. "How can you even think that you'll win? You might have had more of a chance if you used Yuma's. Oh well!" he says with mock sympathy.

I manage to stand up. My arm stings, but I am able to draw a card. My hand aches. More than it should. Something is not right, but I can't be concerned about it right now.

I don't have a Number card in my Deck.
I think. Number 96 has destroyed most of my Xyz Monsters. How has he become so powerful? Maybe…maybe he is too powerful.

But even if that is true, I cannot lose. I might disappear even though I am human. Not only that, my friends would be in danger, too. Yuma…let's face it; he would lose easily without me by his side. Shark could Duel, but I don't want to risk his life.

My Extra Deck begins to glow with an eerie blue light. I take the source— a card— out of it to examine it.

I…I have never seen this Monster before!

But I know I must use it to win. With renewed confidence, I view my hand. I choose a Spell Card. "I activate Star Gift! I can draw 2 cards, and if one or both of them are Monsters I may Summon them!"

This has to work…
I think. I reach for my Deck, trusting that I will draw what I need. I do not usually Duel on chance, but I have no other option. (It's kind of dramatic slow mo here. You know how the show is. ^_^)

Two Monsters! And they are the same Level: 5. I have all I need to win.

"I activate the Trap card, Falling Stars! For as many cards as I have in my hand, that many Star Tokens are Summoned to my field. The Tokens cannot be used to Xyz Summon, but when Monsters are Tribute-Summoned using these as sacrifices, it is treated like a Special Summon!"

"WHAT?!"
Dark Mist shouts.

"I Special Summon three Celestial Lions to my field!" I say. "I Overlay all three and build the Overlay Network! Come forth, Shining Celestial Dragon: Draco!"
Shining Celestial Dragon: Draco; Rank 5, ATK: 2600, DEF: 2600.

I stare in wonder at the Monster. It is long, like a Chinese dragon, and it's very body glows with bright blue light.

"Draco's ability destroys all Dark-Attribute Monsters on both fields." I say. Dark Mist seems to be shrinking in terror.

The shining dragon's light grows until it is blinding. Dark Storm fades away, unable to last in the radiance.

As a result, Number 96's field is completely empty. "Draco, Attack!" I shout, "Luminous Starbeam!"

With a single, bright blast, Dark Mist's Life Points melt away to 0.

When the light fades, he has vanished. "I'll get you, Astral." his voice echoes from nowhere. "I'll come back and defeat you. Until then, enjoy your pathetic life."

I smile slightly and shake my head. Dark Mist is a sore loser. I'll let him sulk.

"Astral!"

I turn to see Yuma rushing at me, arms outstretched. Before I can question him, he wraps his arms around me. It is odd, but I have a feeling that it makes people feel good.

It feels good to me.

"What is this called?" I ask.

"What is…oh, you mean a hug!"

"Oh," I say simply. I "hug" him back.

"That was a good Duel." Shark says. I am surprised he would say something like that. Then he turns and walks away.

"That dragon was so cool!" Yuma babbles. "Where did you get it?"

I shrug. "It came to me."

"Hmm…" Yuma doesn't question me any further. His face brightens. "I think we all deserve to go out and celebrate! Let's get some ice cream!"

The thought sends shivers down my spine. I back away.

"Come on, Astral!" Yuma begs.

Says the one who told me how to eat ice cream the wrong way. "No," I tell him.

Judging by the way Yuma is advancing, I'd say that I need to run. So I do.

"Come back here!" Yuma yells after me.

I don't come back. I keep running.

And then…I stop.

I am floating in the air. I am glowing.

I have become alien again.

Hope you enjoyed the Duel! Let me know what you thought of Astral's deck...I made it up myself. ^_^

Also, this is the last chapter. I'd really appreciate it if you Reviewed and told me what you thought of this FanFic! :D
