Sorry for the absence. I had terrible writers block, so I wrote fluff. I hope you all enjoy this Fourtris filled chapter. Please let me know what you think.
I might start another story, so let me know about any ideas you may have. I'm so glad to have you all! I love you!
Tris POV
"I'm leaving…"
I sit up, unable to breathe, unable to speak, unable to think. Tears begin to slide down my cheeks. I try to ask where, but no words escape my mouth.
"W…where?" I stutter.
"I'm moving in with my aunt in California. I leave in a week." He puts down the guitar and puts his face into his hands. His back begins to shake and I know he is crying…I am too. I stand up and start to pace. I don't know what to say to him. I don't want him to leave, but I don't know how to get him to stay. I'm about to give up when an idea hits me.
"Tobias…what if we just left?"
"What?" He sounds confused.
"Why don't we just pack a bag or two and leave? We could go to the Texas coast and find a small beach house and live there. Just me and you—," I say before I am cut off with his lips crashing into mine. I automatically kiss back and run my hands through his hair and his hands are placed on my back, pulling me closer to him. He pulls back and rests his forehead on mine.
"Let's do it."
We scramble up the stairs and into my bedroom, filling a bag full of all of the necessities that I need and a small amount of clothing, and then we hopped over to Tobias' house through my window and packed a small bag for him. As we sprint out the door to avoid Marcus, he pulls me in for a quick kiss.
"I love you, Tris." I smile and we continue running.
We arrive at the train tracks, still in a full sprint. The last cart is just pulling away, but Tobias manages to jump in, dragging me in with him. I land on his chest and we both laugh. I feel my face go red and I bite my lip. My hair is swooped to one side and is falling toward the floor. I try to make my bangs cover my face, but Tobias moves it behind my ear. He leans in to kiss me, but I jump up, making him groan.
"Sorry, baby. You've had your fair share of kisses today!" I say, running away from him and into the darkest corner of the cart. When Tobias gets up, I can see him looking for me, but after a moment, he locks eyes with me. He started walking over to me, but halfway over, he gets onto his knees and crawls toward me. His face is maybe centimeter away from mine. Without kissing him, my breathing gets heavier and my heart rate picks up. He doesn't move, and it's beginning to piss me off, so I put my arms around his neck and begin to run my fingers on the back of his neck and under his shirt. He shivers and I giggle, biting my lip. He slowly leans forward and softly presses my lips to his. I clutch onto him with all my arm strength and he pulls me onto his lap. I bite his lip and pull slightly before the train horn blares.
"Tris…why do you tease me?" he asks innocently.
"It's fun! You get so flustered! You know I love you." I kiss his cheek and stand up to look out of the door. The sky is beginning to lighten as the sun rises. The landscape is set out in rolling hills and grassy fields, turning with the wind. It's so beautiful. I can't help but gasp at the sight of the sunrise, filled with all colors of orange and pink. Tobias hugs me from behind and whispers into my ear.
"That's what I see when I look at you; beauty beyond compare." I feel the blush arise and I smile. I lay on the floor on Tobias' chest and drift off to sleep to the soft rumble of his voice singing.
She loves her mama's lemonade
And hates the sound that goodbye's make
She prays one day she'll find someone to need her
She swears that there's no difference
Between the lies and compliments
It's all the same if everybody leaves her
And every magazine tells her she's not good enough
The pictures that she sees make her cry
She would change everything, everything, just ask her
Caught in the in-between, a beautiful disaster
She just needs someone to take her home.
I fall asleep to the soft sound of his voice.
When I wake up, Tobias is already awake and staring at me.
"Why are you staring at me?" I laugh.
"Because you're beautiful," he says, with the sides of his mouth perking upward.
When I look outward, we are passing rolling hills filled with wheat and hay bales that have already been cut and rolled together. The smell is sweet, which lingers in my nose as I take in the beauty. Out of the corner of my eye, I see that Tobias is still looking at me with loving eyes with a hint of lust. I roll my eyes and continue to take in the sights. We must be somewhere in Missouri. I put my hands under my legs and stick my feet out of the door of the train. The wind whips my hair in my face, but I like it. I feel free.
"Tobias…" I say, breaking the silence.
"Yes Tris?"
"I love you." I turn and face him. His eyes have softened, but are still looking at me with that look of pure desire. I scoff and lean in to kiss him, but he pulls me in faster, slamming my lips into his. After a few seconds, I finally soften into the kiss. Things become heated very quickly to the point where Tobias has me pinned against the wall and his shirt is on the other side of the cart. His lips leave mine and begin to trail down my neck, leaving kisses everywhere he goes. He whispers into my ear and I blush. I've never seen this side of Tobias before, and I'm not so sure I like it. I move his face to where he's facing me. I give him one last kiss before returning to the door with Tobias' strong arms around my torso.
Well there you go guys. Leave suggestions and comments in a review. That'd make me so happy. Also, guess that song is still applied to every chapter, but it must be the name of the song AND the artist. Good luck everyone! Let me know what you think about the fluff!
