It had been a week since the boys checked out of the hospital. At first their parents called them, but the boys ditched their phones because they didn't want to be tracked down. They had learned from the best about how to survive, so they didn't have much trouble with that. They were young so it was a little more difficult to convince people otherwise, but they got by. They were staying in a motel room. They hadn't really done much hunting. John hasn't said much. He just looked at his notes about werewolves. Bobby was out every day searching for any lead to a cure. Bobby had to find it soon because John looked like the life was being sucked out of him every second he was a werewolf. Bobby had until the next full moon, but some have been known to transform before then.

Bobby was out walking around. He needed to clear his head about this whole wolf thing. He started to think about how hunters always to be consumed by one particular evil. For their parents it was a demon and for others it was vampires. Bobby's and John's was werewolves. He thought about all the things he could do for John. He could leave him and go home, he could find him a back and go home, or he could kill him and go home. Bobby really did want to go home, but he didn't want to do it without John. This was all his fault, and he was going to fix it. He decided to go to the library. He would have gone back to the hotel room to use John's laptop, but he still couldn't look at him the way he was. The library was sadly preferable at this moment.

He sat at the computer googling ever bit of lore he could find on werewolves. He had to sift through the ones that were total bull and the ones that were real facts. Part of him wondered if the farfetched ones would work. He knew that killing the werewolf that bit him wouldn't do it because she was already dead, and Sam and Dean had done it in the past and it didn't work. Bobby became frustrated and ran his fingers through his short brown hair. He looked up and saw a beautiful girl. She was shelving books. She smiled at him. He wanted to smile back, but he didn't think he should have fun when John was so miserable. He continued to look at the computer screen. The girl continued to look at him, and then she was sitting right next to him. He looked at her, and she seemed interested in his computer screen. Bobby hoped that she would go away, but instead she asked," Why werewolves?"

He seemed shocked at the question and replied," Why not."

She giggled." You don't really believe in this stuff do you?"

He swiveled around in his chair to face her. "Maybe I do."

She quit smiling, but she didn't get up either." I think that it is plausible for werewolves to be real."

Bobby laughed," Really?"

She said," Why not."

They both laughed.

He thought about asking the girl for her number, but he refrained. He knew that he needed to get back to John. The entire ride home he felt like he was being followed, so he was careful and doubles back to shake him. H figured that it worked because he didn't see anyone else. He walked into the motel to see John still reading his journal. Bobby didn't know what to say, so he just stayed silent. Then John spoke," Bobby?"

He replied,"Yeah Johnny?"

"You didn't find anything did you?"

He couldn't lie. "Not yet."

John stood up. "Why do you keep trying?"

"What do you mean?"

"You're never going to change me back."

Before Bobby could reply there was a knock on the door. John grabbed the knife under his pillow while Bobby grabbed his gun on the table. Bobby whispered for John to stay behind him. He walked to the door. He slowly opened it, and it was the girl from the library. At first he thought the girl was just there to get his number or something, but the look in her face was different. Bobby asked," What are you doing here?"

She smiled,"You were looking for a werewolf weren't you."

Then three boys walked up behind her. This was not a good thing. The boys attacked Bobby and John. One took on John while the others went after Bobby. John didn't seem to put up much of a fight. It was like he was truly done with everything. He was knocked out fairly quickly. Bobby on the other hand would go down swinging. He shot one in the shoulder, but that didn't stop him. The boys beat him mercilessly until he fell unconscious.

The girl smiled and said," Take them to the barn boys."

The next thing Bobby knew he was waking up in a barn tied to a chair. It was dark, but he could see John beside him. He pulled on the ropes, but they wouldn't budge. His face was shooting with pain. Part of him wished he was knocked out as easily as John, but he was not the type to just give up. Bobby never though John would give up either, but the werewolf curse was weighing on him. He looked around for anything or anyone. He was still utterly confused by the girl. Why does she want them? Then Bobby yelled," Johnny?"

John replied," I'm here."

Then the lights turned on and the girl and her goons walked in.

Bobby asked," What do you want?"

She replied," Well I want you two, Bobby?"

"How do you know my name?"

She laughed," You kidding me. Everyone knows about Bobby and John Winchester the kids of the notorious Winchester brothers. Anyway, I want to know why you were looking for werewolves. Were you going to kill my pack?"

"No."

The girl took John's knife and stabbed Bobby in the shoulder. He yelled in pain.

"Let's try this again. Why do you want to kill us?"

He yelled," I didn't want to kill you, but now…"

She smiled and walked over to John. She stabbed him in the shoulder. John yelled, but he was in much more pain. The blade was silver, and it was burning his skin. The girl pulled it out. She was shocked.

"A Winchester is a werewolf. That's a first."

Bobby yelled, "Leave him alone….you….b…."

"Hey don't use that kind of language around here. So, John is a werewolf. That's why you were researching them."

The girl took the blade and cut the boys ropes.

She continued, "Follow me."

Bobby was reluctant, but the other option wasn't good so they followed. They walked into a farm house. The girl motioned for another boy to come over.

She said," Take this one. He's one of us."

Bobby stood in-between the boy and John.

She continued," He's taking him to our doctor."

Bobby was reluctant, but he finally agreed. Maybe they wouldn't hurt John because he was like then, but what would happen to Bobby.

Bobby asked," So what are you going to do with me?"

She laughed," Follow me."

He did. They walked through the halls into a library.

"What is all this?"

She replied, "This is all the lore about our kind, and most of it is true."

"Why are you showing me this?"

"Well you may be a hunter, but you obviously care about John so maybe you will be the one that finds a cure for our kind."

"What exactly are you offering?"

"You find a cure, and you and John can stay here so you won't have to be out there alone with other hunters."

"We can take care of ourselves."

"If you could why didn't you tell your parents about John."

He was silent.

She continued,"You were afraid that they would kill him, and they probably would. I don't like hunters, but anyone who would leave his parents for his brother has to be halfway decent."

Bobby replied," Johnny's my cousin."

"You treat him like a brother."

"Who are you?"

"My name is Mia."

"Nice to meet you."

She smiled, "Let's get you to the doctor. Sorry about all that."

They walked to another room where John was all bandaged up, and waiting anxiously for Bobby. The doctor started on him.

Mia said," Well Ryan, my brother, will show you two to your room when he's done patching you up."

Bobby watched Mia walked away, and his eyes were going down south.

Without turning around Mia yelled," Stop staring at my butt."

Bobby smiled.
