I watched as Sherlock was escorted out to the police car down on the street and before I knew it John was behind him. The scene played out before me as Sherlock and John became wanted criminals to the city and ran off. My two roommates were now fugitives and in the police's eye I was the uninvolved victim of the whole thing. Greg convinced the police chief not to take a second look at me since I had alibis for all the crimes and being friends with Tony Stark really helped. As the apartment started to get searched, I made my way to my room making sure I snatched John's hidden gun before they could. It took hours for them to look for the so called evidence they needed to convict sherlock for the kidnapping of the children. By the time the police left, it was early into the next morning and I was greet with coffee from Lestrade.
"Sorry, to keep you up tonight...you kno-yeah I do." I sighed softly cutting him off, taking the coffee he offered.
He sat at the kitchen table across from me and sipped his coffee before speaking up.
"You know, I don't believe it was him, Sam." He looked up with sadness in his eyes.
"I'm in the same boat as you Greg..." I responded hesitantly, "Everything is going to change"
"As hell as it already has...freaking Sally and Anderson..." He grumbled out in a sad rage.
"Greg...I might be leaving soon so I need you to keep an eye on yourself and John." I confessed, looking down at the cup in my hands.
"Heading back to America?" He questioned, cocking an eyebrow.
I looked back toward Sherlock's room,"Yeah, something like that."
"Sam, is there something I need to know?" He asked sincerely
"Yeah, I'm going to kill Moriarty."
I walked into Bart's hospital, hair pulled back and dressed to the nines with a gun tucked into my jacket. My heart raced as I made my way to the roof, it was almost time and the fall was almost upon us. I took deep breaths trying to control my facial expression, the only way this would go through flawlessly as if I didn't screw up. The ding of the elevator brought me out of my thoughts as my final scene was laid upon a plate before me. I stepped out of the elevator and made my way up to the roof. As I reached the door to the roof I composed myself enough before stepping out into my role.
The boys looked over at the door in mild surprise, Sherlock and Jim stood in front of each out hands in mid shake. Sherlock's eyes try to deduce what I must be doing there and the small smirk plastered a crossed my lips didn't help him.
"What are you doing here, Sammi-dear?" Jim's deadly voice creep out of the flat line his mouth is in.
"I'm joining the party Jim, shame I didn't get an invitation." I remarked as I walked my way over to the boys who broke their handshake.
"Daddy didn't want you here, so leave before you make daddy change his mind about hurting you." Jim hissed out turning himself to face me.
I widened my smirk and took a step closer to him so we were practically nose to nose.
"No, Jim. I'm not your girl anymore."
These words burned as hatred and pure rage in Jim's eyes as he roughly grabbed me by my jacket collar.
"Oh sammi-dear you just broke one of my biggest rule. I'm going to have to teach you a lesson." He chuckled out darkly reaching for his gun with one of his hands, giving me the upper hand.
I shoved him back and pulled out my own gun aiming at Jim my hand trembling slightly but my voice strong.
"Sorry, no more lessons from you Jim." I retorted back and with that my finger fell on the trigger and two bullets were planted into Jim's chest.
I watched as his body hit the ground right next to Sherlock as blood started to pour from his wounds. Sherlock's face broke out into a contortion of fear and shock before he looked over at me.
"What did you do? He could of saved John! " he gasped as he came over and grabbed me by my jacket again.
In angry I shoved Sherlock back and walked over to Jim's body and kicking his jacket open.
"He was going to shot himself anyway, so jump Sherlock." I retorted, bring the gun up and aiming it at him. "its the only thing that can save them and me..."
Sherlock analyzed Jim's gun from where he stood before his worried eyes made contact with mine and real fear was there for once.
"I'm sorry, Sherlock this is the way it has to be..." I choked out trying to hold back my own fears from creeping up.
He walked over to me slowly as his face grew still and the fear crawled back to the hiding spot in him. My hand shook as I tried to keep the gun aimed at him, my breath grew shallow as he got closer then he has ever been.
My eyes widen as he lowered the gun slowly from my grip and cupped my face in his other hand. I stared at him shocked as he leaned down and gently brushed his lips against my mine in a caring gesture before he turned toward the ledge of the building. I shook as I heard him pull out his phone and make that dreadful call to John. I felt the tears run down my cheeks as I listened into Sherlock's part of the call with my back to him before he throw his phone back. As he did I turned and watched as he fell from the ledge and to the ground. My heart sank as my knees did into the pool of blood around Jim's body as the screams from below grew louder.
The only thing that stood out from the screams was the eerie voice that came from behind me.
"The girl who has killed the mastermind shall kill another she cares for soon."
I turned my head back to see what I have been waiting for some time now. The ugly ass alien in the suit tilts its head at my unfazed expression.
"W-What?" I choked out standing up slowly not taking my eyes off the forge creature.
"The girl who has killed the mastermind shall kill another she cares for soon." He repeated before speaking up again. "We know who you are Samantha Moretti and we knew what you will do."
