Welcome to Chapter 3, my great readers! It's nice to know you've continued this far! Well, here it is, "The Moonlight Twins!" Please enjoy and feedback is much accepted!

The Fukuzawa rental house was undisturbed. The night was silent. It seemed as if time itself stood still. The moon stayed poised in it the same position, and the stars sparkled in its sky. Both Katsu and Hideyoshi were fast asleep in their designated rooms, but in the sibling's room, things were out of place in the dead of night.

~[Ransei; Year 10; December; Aurora; Fukuzawa Rental House]~

The covers rustled under Amaterasu, her white-tipped, peacock colored, shoulder-short hair sprawled out all over the lavender pillow. Ammy couldn't get back to sleep, but she was tired. She couldn't understand it. Finally, after a couple of tosses and turns, she finally drifted off, only to see an Eevee. It was laying out in a field of snow, on a moonlit night. There was something off about it, though. It seemed to...shine. It was curled up with another Eevee, their tails covering each other's faces. They were shaking, too. Probably because of how cold it is. But, one seemed to give off an aura to her. It drew her in. The one giving off the aura looked up and directly at her, tears in it's eyes. And, with a tear-drowned howl, it cried out.

"HELP ME...!"

It said it. In perfect English.

It startled me, and I took a step back, as the scene faded into the pure white snow. I jerked awake, panting.

"Why am I so tired? I'm having a hard time...breathing.."

I looked around, the room was exactly how the two left it. She looked over at the Pokèmon, which startled her. Zoroark's red eyes glowed in the dim night, giving Amaterasu a worried look.

"Awh, it's okay, Zoroark. I'm okay..." She hugged Zoroark, the Illusion Pokèmon giving a purr.

Then, a faint sound came from her black- tipped, olive-haired brother.

"Katsuki? Katsuki!" Hideyoshi's Infernape was trying to wake her brother up, while he panted just like her.

She shook him too. "Kat? Brother, wake up! Please!"

"Fern! Infern!"

"Grah! Rhgrah!"

Then, just like Amaterasu, he shot up, his pumpkin-spice shaded eyes wide. "A-Ammy?"

"Katsuki!" Her already yellow-glazed eyes lit up even more. "We're you having a nightmare?"

"N-No...It had...an Eevee. It wasn't scary at all.."

Suddenly, a howl rang in both of their ears. The same one they each heard in their dreams.

"Do you think...?"

"Katsuki, come on!"

She dragged her brother out of bed, both running out of the bedroom. Zoroark and Infernape, worried for their safety, followed. The brother and sister duo went out the back door, slipping on a pair of shoes beforehand. They looked amazed at the blanket of snow sparkling under the moon. They stepped out into the white, their feet sinking in the soft haven.

"Infernape!" The fire monkey called out to them from the back door. Once he got their attention, he leaped in front of them, the heat emitting from his body creating a path.

"Wow! Thanks, Infernape!" Amaterasu appreciated the Pokèmon's help.

Zoroark trailed behind the two children, his eyes glowing even more as he scanned the landscape. Infernape was also worried for the children's safety, as they had become some of his friends. Hence, both Pokèmon scanned the whitened area with a somewhat Foresight kind of ability. The two children looked around, but not for the same reason. They were looking for the mystical Eevee twins they saw in their dreams. After a good, long search party for the Moonlight Twins, the quartet came to a snow-covered hill.

Katsuki tugged on his sister's pajama shirt. "Ammy! L-Look!"

The boy pointed up on top of the hill, where a blob glistened in the soft snow. The blob was trembling tremendously, but most of all, they were crying...

Amaterasu ran up the hill. "Katsuki! We have to help them!"

Her brother nodded in agreement and headed up the hill with her. The two guide Pokèmon slowly followed, keeping a close eye on their surroundings. As soon as the duo reached the top, they felt the same aura emit from each of the Eevee. The same Eevee from each of their dreams looked each in the eyes, giving the humans the faintest smile. An Eevee bounded and leaped into each of their arms, and they cuddled up to them.

"There, there.." Amaterasu said as she pet her Eevee. "You're okay. We need to get you somewhere warm."

Katsuki pet his too. "I'll keep you warm." He smiled as he hugged the fox-like Pokèmon closer to his chest, in which the Eevee gladly cuddled up to.

Amaterasu looked at her brother. "Come on, Katsuki, let's go warm them up at home."

"Alright...but, what about dad?"

"What do you mean?"

"If Dad finds the Eevee, we'll get in trouble!"

Amaterasu thought about this, but then smiled. "Just leave that to me."

Katsuki nodded slowly, still a little dazed. Katsuki and Amaterasu both walked down the hill and met Infernape and Zoroark.

Katsuki asked, "Can you please take us back home? They're freezing, and I can't walk fast enough..."

To this, Infernape nodded and turned around so Katsuki could climb on his back. Katsuki did as so, placing one of the Eevee near the flame on Infernape's head. Then, on all fours, Infernape ran back to the house.

Amaterasu climbed on Zoroark, putting Eevee in the tufts of his mane. Zoroark then took off on all fours too, catching up to her brother. Both children curled up on the Pokèmon, the winter winds ferociously attacking their face. In moments the group reached the back door once more, the children slowly getting off their Pokèmon and taking the Eevee carefully. They dropped their shoes outside, and the group of now six closed and locked the back door behind them.

The house was still silent. "Let's go wrap them up in some blankets." Katsuki whispered to Amaterasu, his Eevee stretching in his grasp.

Ammy silently nodded, putting her finger up to her mouth and making her way across the stone-cold wood.

Katsuki, Infernape, and Zoroark both followed Amaterasu to their room. Katsuki closed the door, and both laid out their Eevee on their bed. They went to a cabinet in their room, grabbing blankets that had been stored there previously. They, carefully, wrapped each Pokèmon in a blanket. The two Eevee's tears and whimpers began to dissolve, as they slowly drifted off to the DreamWorld. The brother and sister crawled back into their bed, warming up as well. Zoroark and Infernape both saw how important these Pokèmon were to the children, so they curled up around them, keeping them warm. To their surprise, the Eevee cuddled back, and the six went back to the blissful sleep.

~[The Next Morning...]~

Katsuki, Amaterasu, and the rest of the accomplices in last night's act were still sleeping when Katsu came to check on them at 6 A.M. He noticed the two Pokèmon curled around something, though. When he went to go look, he was taken aback.

"W-Wild Pokèmon..? But, I'm sure I locked all the doors...Wouldn't Zoroark have noticed too..? I don't know about Infernape, but-"

But, at that moment, one of the Eevee snuggled more up to Zoroark, in which Zoroark replied by hugging him. Katsu couldn't believe it.

"...Do they know each other?"

Zoroark then opened it's eyes, the red meeting the yellow glow of the morning sun. He maneuvered his head, so he met Katsu's soothing gaze. The fox was overjoyed to see his master, letting out a soft cry in happiness. And, with it's swift and light paws, it moved Eevee to a different spot on the bed, and leapt onto the cold floor, smiling at Katsu.

"Zoroark, you seem to know these Pokèmon. You weren't surprised or anything.."

His fox nodded.

"Can I trust them?"

Zoroark took a quick glance at the Eevee, which now huddled around Infernape. He nodded again.

"They won't hurt Katsuki or Amaterasu?"

He shook his head.

Katsu nodded. "Alright. I trust your judgement. Let's go get some breakfast, how about it?"

Zoroark nodded, licking his muzzle. They both slowly walked out the door, and made a turn, down the hall and into the kitchen, where they went to work as head and assistant chef.

Just moments after Katsu and Zoroark disappeared from the hall, Hideyoshi, fully dressed, walked into the children's room. It seemed as if Hideyoshi's own presence in the room woke Infernape up, which he smiled at his master before swiftly jumping off the bed, and next to the Fire-Type trainer.

"Hey, Infernape, you think they found their 'spirit' Pokèmon?"

Infernape smiled, and nodded.

Hideyoshi smiled too. "Just like you and me, remember? You were just a Chimchar, but I felt something from you I never felt from anyone. You reminded me so much...of me."

Infernape grinned, pleased with his reply.

"I wonder if they felt the same aura...had the dreams...that I did?"

They sat silently watching the Eevee curl up to Katsuki or Amaterasu, blissfully unaware of the presence of the other two.

"Well, if they stay together, Katsuki and Amaterasu, they'll see, they need each other more than they think. And maybe...just maybe, they'll talk some sense into Naobunga."

Infernape looked up at his master, surprised.

Hideyoshi looked down at him. "As crazy as it sounds, I...actually had a dream about them last night."

Infernape cocked his head, wanting to know more.

"Well, long story short, Katsuki and Amaterasu, and the two Eevee too, saved Ransei. They gained all the Warlord's trust, and they...they saved us all. I couldn't tell from what, but I remember seeing them, all grown up, with the Warlords at their side, taking down the source of evil in Ransei."

Infernape nodded, learning to trust his master's judgement, as he had done this sort of thing before.

"But, I don't know how I'm getting these vivid visions...and, at the end or each vision, I hear this cry...it sounds like some sort of Pokèmon, but it happens every time I have this real of a dream..."

The monkey started tugging on Hideyoshi's cape. Hideyoshi looked down and grinned at the sound of Infernape's growling stomach. "Oh! Sorry boy, I kinda got lost in my own mind and forgot about breakfast.."

Hideyoshi's stomach growled too as he smelled a heavenly aroma flooding the house. Both Pokèmon and Warlord breathed in the scent.

"Mmmm, Katsu must be a good cook. Come on, let's go get some!" Hideyoshi ran out of the room and down the hall, his beloved partner happily running after him.

A couple minutes after Hideyoshi and Infernape bounded out of their room, the twins woke up to the scent of breakfast, sitting up and stretching. The movements caused the Eevee to wake up, and they stretched in that of how a dog did. Get up, back legs, front legs, then shake. When the Eevee shook, the two children laughed, finally opening Pumpkin Spice and honey colored eyes. Everyone yawned, and when they looked down at their Eevee, they remembered last night and gasped, happily hugging theirs.

"Hey, you all smell that?"

Katsuki took a whiff. "Mmhmm! Man, it smells so delectibale...Dad must be making breakfast!"

"Yeah! Come on, everyone, let's go!"

Katsuki hopped off the bed, and with his Eevee on his tail, they ran down the hall. Both Amaterasu and her Eevee looked dumbfounded at their significant other's acts.

"What a kid..."

"Vee ve..."

"JUST A REMINDER, SIS, YOU'RE THE SAME AGE AS ME!"

"EEVEE!"

The sister and her new Pokèmon sighed and laughed. "Let's go join them, it does smell really good."

"Eeveh!" Eevee hopped off the bed before Amaterasu, and both sniffed their way to the 'pot of gold and the end of the rainbow'.

Amaterasu came into the kitchen with her Eevee, to see some view. Katsuki was bounding all over the place, his Eevee happily joining him, and Zoroark and Katsu were trying to finish making breakfast. Hideyoshi was trying to catch a pear that kept slipping from his grasp. It was a hilarious sight to see, really. So, Ammy and Eevee couldn't help but laugh.

Katsu heard Amaterasu's laugh, and sighed. "Good morning, Ammy."

"G-good morning dad..." She tried to stifle her laughs as best she could. "Need any help?"

Katsu laughed. "Yeah, that would be nice."

Things finally calmed down when the food was ready. The gang sat at the table and stuffed their faces with Katsu's great food.

"Man, Katsu! You make a fine cook!" Hideyoshi said as he wolfed down more scrambled eggs.

"Thanks, Hideyoshi." Katsu replied with a smile.

The Pokèmon enjoyed Katsu's food too, as they pleasantly ate. The children were too busy rambling on about something on TV. Katsu couldn't help but stare at them with a worried gaze.

"Hey, Katsu, you worried about them?" Katsu came back to Earth and shook his head, still not making eye contact with the Warlord. " Yeah, just, what if they don't fit in? What if they get hurt? What if I let them go, too early?"

"Katsu, they'll be fine."

"...How do you know?"

Hideyoshi couldn't tell Katsu about his dreams yet. He'd think he was absolutely crazy. "I just know."

"But I don't know if that's enough for me..."

"The only thing they need, is their Eevee and each other. Have you noticed? They just met those Eevee last night, and they already trust them. And, look! They're shiny Eevee. Shinies are rare breeds that hardly, HARDLY, open up to any human being. Yet, they found TWO. And do you see how much they trust each other? Katsuki and Amaterasu love each other, depend on each other. Like you said, as long as they have each other, they'll be fine."

He had to admit, It did make him feel better. "Yeah, I guess you're right..."

"And, you know about 'spirit' Pokèmon, right?"

Katsu froze. He hadn't thought about that...

"Just like you and Zoroark, or me and Infernape. We felt something from these Pokèmon, something that showed us that we could trust them. And they've been our pals ever since, right? So, hey, stop worrying, okay?" Hideyoshi stuffed the rest of the pears in his mouth.

"It's not good for you anyways." Hideyoshi smirked at Katsu, which caused Katsu to chuckle.

"I guess you've got a point...wait, I never told you 'As long as they have each other, they'll be fine'...?"

Oh no, that wasn't good. He pulled that out from his...dream.

Man! I did it again! I screwed up! "D-Don't be silly! You told me when we were walking to your house yesterday!"

"...I did?"

"Yeah! Y-You don't remember?"

"Hm. I guess not. Well, anyways, you make a great point. Thanks, Hideyoshi." He gave his friend a warm smile and grabbed each other's plates. "Come on, kids! Go get packed! We leave at 1!"

"Yes sir!" The children said in unison, and ran back to their rooms.

"...A-Actually, wait!"

The two came back. "Yeah Mr. Hideyoshi?"

He pointed at the Eevee, each next to one kid. "You know which one's which?"

The children nodded.

"Well, I don't. So, here. I've kept these in my pockets for a long time. I'm happy I can finally put them to use." He pulled out a necklace with a blue chain, but a white tag in the shape of Reshiram. He put that one around Amaterasu's Eevee. Next, he pulled out a necklace with a red chain, but a black tag in the shape of Zekrom. He put that one around Katsuki's Eevee.

"Wow! Thanks, Mr. Hideyoshi!"

"It's a pleasure. Now, be sure to come up with names for these Pokèmon, okay? It would help to know more than just Amaterasu's is a boy, and Katsuki's is a girl."

"Good idea! Yeah, we'll think of some!" Katsuki responded.

"Alright, now go pack. We have to leave to see your mother!"

They nodded and, again, bounded back to their rooms. Hideyoshi and Infernape followed them back to his room right after, so Katsu couldn't say thank you. He looked at Zoroark, whom met his gaze.

"What a mysterious, yet happy-go-lucky man..."

"Grah...Zoroark nodded.

"Well,"Katsu put away the last of the dishes,"let's go and pack too." Zoroark nodded and followed his trainer back to his room, but while passing Hideyoshi's room, he overheard a...strange conversation, to say the least.

-[Inside Hideyoshi's Room, Over Phone]-

"Hey, Mitsuhide, sorry to bother you."

"It's alright, Hideyoshi. I'm not busy."

"I'm having the dreams again, and now it involved a friend of mine's children."

"...Children?"

"They're not even teenagers yet, and I saw a very vivid dream, of them saving Ransei..."

"Saving Ransei!? Are you sure?!"

"I'm positive, Mitsu..."

"Did you hear a cry at the end, like always?"

"Yeah.."

"...Where are you?"

"I'm in Aurora. I'm coming back to Ignis at about 1. I won't be there till about 2 or 2:30."

"Alright, I'll meet you there. Me, You, Hanbei, Kanbei, and maybe even Kai or Nene can discuss it. Sound okay?"

"Perfect. Thanks, Mitsuhide."

"Anytime, Yoshi."

Katsu didn't know what to make of the conversation he heard, but couldn't worry about it now, he had less that 45 minutes to pack. But, Katsu wasn't as much worried as he was curious. Hanbei, Kanbei, Nene, Kai, Mitsuhide? Just who were these people?... Well, he couldn't shake off the feeling, that he'd be meeting these mysterious characters, sooner than he wanted to...

And finished! Well, that's Chapter 3 everyone! I do hope they find their mom soon... Well, nevertheless, I had fun writing this chapter. I chose Shiny Eevee because it shows how 'special' this duo will turn out to be. Well, time for Chapter 4! I'll get it out soon, but until then, TTFN (ta-ta for now!) and Best Wishes!
