"Okay, I think I see someone in the building. Do we attack now? "

"No of course not, we don't know what he is capable of. So just hold back."

Deadpool passed the binoculars to She – Hulk, she scanned the building. While she was busy with that, Deadpool walked towards Harley. It seemed to him that Harley wasn't focused for the coming assault that the whole team was trying to mount. If you could call it that. Their plan was almost exactly what Deadpool had said. She - Hulk smashes, Taskmaster dices, everybody's favorite merc destroys, and Harley whack's a mole with her sledgehammer. Even that guy with the cigar in his mouth from the A Team couldn't make a plan any better.

It seemed Harley wasn't really into it all. Which was a shame for Deadpool really. Everyone else was going to destroy this building with a "this is only business" mentality. But Harley Quinn and Deadpool on the other hand, they were going to have as much fun as a bully knocking some kid's Legos. Why didn't she have a smile on her face right about now he thought?

"Hey Harley, you okay? Don't tell me you see my Australian twin coming our way again? "

Harley shook her head. She wanted to say what was on her mind right now, but this was probably not the proper time. So she told a slight fib.

"I'm good. Just trying to get ready for all of this." Deadpool shook his head in shock.

"What do you mean get ready for this?" he said mockingly "This is a great opportunity to destroy a multi billionaire's place of business. Do you know how many times I wanted to destroy Oscorp or maybe Stark Industries? Plenty of times. "

"I know, it's just...don't worry."

"Don't tell me you're scared to die or anything? If anyone is going to die it's going to be The Taskman. He is soooo useless in our circle, I am bound to use him as shield. "

"But I thought he was dangerous?" Harley asked quizzically.

"Well...I guess, it depends if he's grumpy. But you could never tell with a guy who has no real facial expression. "

"Makes me think our whole introduction was kind of useless then." Harley said smiling.

"Oh don't say that, when is there ever a missed opportunity with a hot girl in pigtails and caked on makeup?"

"Oh good, I didn't think I was going to have much chemistry with a guy who's skin reminds me of fried chicken"

"Original or crispy?" Harley laughed. Her guard was dropping thanks to Deadpool. She noticed ever since she met him her guard was doing that a lot.

Harley asked "So after we get this Axel guy. Is that it?" Deadpool shrugged.

"Is there something else we should be doing? "

"Nothing I could think of at the moment. But with a portal inside that building I could only imagine that -"

"Hey guys, we see something in the building." Taskmaster interrupted from a distance. Harley sighed. She was almost going to give Deadpool more than she wanted. Sometimes she needed a mouth gag to carry around her, Harley thought. She couldn't expect everyone to interrupt in the most opportune moments.

"So what do you see Captain Green?" Deadpool asked.

"I see just one individual. I believe it's our target." She-Hulk answered.

Taskmaster asked "So do we make our move?"

"I don't know, he seems to be totally alone. Which means he is confident in his surroundings. Either because he has a great defense around him or maybe he doesn't think anyone knows he's in the building "She-Hulk said. She contemplated for a moment. She was afraid that just going in would be a trap. She didn't want to risk it but "what's done is going to be done" she said aloud.

"Is that Lawyer term for something?' Deadpool asked.

"No, but the more I think about our plan the less I wonder how I got into law school in the first place."

Deadpool sallied away from Harley and towards She-Hulk. Once he was an inch away from her he slapped his hand atop her shoulder. She didn't seem to appreciate it at first. But she could tell that he didn't mean any harm.

"I mean what is the worst that could happen? Taskmaster gets blown up?" He looked at Harley who gave a quick shrug and he looked at Taskmaster who seemed to have his shoulders crooned down.

Taskmaster spoke in a defeated tone "I'm just a bullet sponge to you aren't I "

"Your words not mine." Deadpool turned around to She-Hulk once again and continued "so how do we approach this? Want me to fly right in there and smash his face in?"

She-Hulk didn't seem to have any bright ideas coming her way, so she nodded in the same defeated way as Taskmaster. She also knew the next course of action as she spoke "You want me to throw you inside that building don't you?"

Deadpool tried to look as innocent he could. "Aww would you. I'm only a buck eighty."

"Ha lies" Taskmaster interjected.

"Watch your tone mister. I have the body of an eighteen year old."

"Yeah maybe one that has been playing Halo in his mom's basement every day "

"I will take off my glove and challenge you to a duel my dear sir and you shall get the thrashing of your short pathetic life "

She-hulk had enough. "Guys if we could. We have to set our worlds back in order thank you very much." Harley started to participate in the whole squabble.

"Deadpool shouldn't go alone. Throw me in too."

She-Hulk shook her head. She didn't want two nut jobs to start off with this mission. It was bad enough that Deadpool and her had given them all the moniker "The Reject Squad" but to fail in the mission so early would just prove their code name. But she knew that if it was only her and Deadpool in there. How Taskmaster and Harley would get in once the crap hits the fan?

Harley tried the innocent look as well "awww pweese misses green lady. I am only a hundred pounds at best."

"Seriously? It's like I'm in fat camp with all these weight lies." Taskmaster said in frustration. Why was he frustrated about all this no one will ever know? Deadpool had to say something after that outburst.

"I think I just found out a lot about your childhood after that whole statement."

She-Hulk ignored there bickering. "Alright let's go Mr. Canadian. Engage the target as soon as your dropped in. "

"Oh I'll engage alright. I am going to engage the hell out of it." Deadpool said menacingly.

"Alright calm down." She-Hulk picked him up. She lifted him like a Javelin, difference was that this one was a pain in the ass. She aimed for the level believed to be where Axel was. She hoped that not only her aim was good but also that her instincts were right. But what would be the worst that could happen? It was only Deadpool.

"Wooohhoooo" Deadpool screamed midair towards the building. He has jumped from many high places, whether it was from a plane or a spaceship. He has always known what gravity can do to him. Sometimes the landing differed from one another, sometimes they were soft because he had a once in a lifetime bright idea to actually wear a parachute or sometimes he would decide to let the ground be his landing. Either way, Deadpool was used to gravity as it was to him. But at least this time he could check off the list of being thrown across a building willingly.

While being thrown, Harley almost had the audacity to attempt to jump herself unto the building. But that would only mean that she would not only miss the level she was supposed to go into but probably miss the whole building entirely. She never really had the greatest of leg strengths. Lack of working out would do that to someone. But she did want to be a part of this as soon as possible. So she did the most logical thing she could. Harley decided to ride Deadpool towards the building.

Midway towards the building Deadpool felt a heavy weight on his back. Did Axel already start his assault? How did he already know he was coming? Was he in the air for that long? Deadpool understood what was happening once he heard a voice on top of him "Woooohhooo reject squad coming at ya" it was Harley of course. He thought what was a grin before became an outright smile. This mission became better and better by the illogical minute.

What felt like forever in the air now felt like only a millisecond once Harley and Deadpool crashed inside. They both rolled crumpled on the floor, every part of their bodies hurt right about now. Many painkillers would be a great thing right about now Harley thought to herself as she stumblingly stood up. She noticed Deadpool already standing up and holding his back. "That is not going to feel right for many mornings Jeez."

Harley looked around in a quick manner, she suddenly realized why they crashed here in the first place. Deadpool was still whining about the pain "ohhhh my back, my baaackkk"

"Sshhhhhhhuuuutttt up." Harley said in annoyance. The room was dark, Harley thought that maybe She-Hulk and the rest of them made the wrong assessment about the building. Or maybe she threw Deadpool into the wrong floor. It would be a mistake anyone could make, well only those with superhuman strength.

Harley started to talk in a whisper "do you see anyone?"

"No, and why are you whispering?"

"Because Axel could be here."

"And you think whispering after that loud crashing sound we made wouldn't bring up his attention? "

"Okay good point."

A bright white light appeared in front of them. They tried to shield their eyes but it seemed like even closing them wasn't good enough. Harley felt an instant throbbing inside her head. She wanted to scream because the pain was too much. But just as the light was shined in front of them it quickly died down. Before Harley and Deadpool could even ask each other what was going on they both heard a hard growling sound. It sounded like a dog, a big one at that. And it didn't seem to be far away.

There was a deep darkness far away in the room. Only blackness was shown across from it. The open window gave a flicker of light from where Harley and Deadpool stood. But even though they both couldn't see what was maybe ten or fifteen feet away from them. They could both tell there was something inside the blackness. It was approaching slowly, its footsteps grew louder by every step. Harley couldn't see it but Deadpool could, its white flashing teeth was appearing through the blackness. And it slowly became a face. And it was a face of a wolf. And it was huge. When the mammoth sized Wolf was approaching slowly towards them she knew that making cute pet sounds would not give them an opportunity to flee. It would only make their situation worse. Panic struck all over her body, she looked at Deadpool who seemed to slowly reach towards his katana blades. Smart Harley thought, or maybe a dumb one she didn't know. She was hardly the expert on this. Her sledgehammer was a couple of feet away from her after their eventful crash. Why was her sledgehammer always away from her in the wrong flipping time she thought? This was just one of the many moments where fate decided to screw her over.

While he was trying to but not so secretly get his blades, Deadpool was slowly backing away. So many thoughts ran through his head, how did a giant wolf appear? If he would to chop its head off would the ASPCA get a tit fit and protest in front of his home every day for the rest of his life? And would he have enough grenades to kill them all off?

Deadpool tried to make no sudden movements in front of the beast. Once he felt that he was comfortable with a blade or two in his hands then he would spring into the opportunity. He finally had a full grip on a handle when he could tell the wolf sensed a threat, so in one sudden swoop the wolf came at Deadpool with a full sprint, its gnarling teeth became a gaping hole that was about to devour him. Deadpool leaped in front of it and gave a horizontal motion with his Katana blade. The blade slashed the wolf's nose. Which took out a large chuck of skin from it.

The wolf stopped dead in its tracks to give a roar of dissatisfaction of what Deadpool had done. But before it made a quick recovery Harley had recovered her sledgehammer and sacked the wolf's head with it with all of her might. The beast was now in a wobbly state when Deadpool decided to use both his blades into the large wolf. Being that he wasn't much of an animal lover, he decided to take the cruelest action he could make. In as a full burst as he could, Deadpool thrusted both blades into the wolf's eyes. What could've been anger coming from the beast became a blood curdling scream. Deadpool pulled out both of his blades out of it. The huge wolf did not motion an offence against him. It instead was rolling his face onto the floor. It did not know how to react to the pain nor how to end it. Deadpool didn't give much thought of what he had done, he started to run past the beast to see what was beyond it. Was there more he wondered. If there was he didn't think he would have the same luck as before.

Harley ran ahead of him. After seeing the wolf roll around in pain, it finally occurred what appeared in front of them. How could a large beast just suddenly appear? How did they not notice it before they went into the building? Something was rotten in Gotham Harley thought. She assumed the worse out of this and hoped to live through all of this.

A big thump sound was heard behind Deadpool and Harley. They both jumped ready to pounce, thinking that the animal recovered from its wounds and try to attack. But it was Taskmaster, he was rolling around on the floor trying to recover from his fall.

"Shut up Task." Deadpool said annoyingly.

"My goodness that hurt. Wait, why is there a large dog here? And why is it bleeding to death?" Taskmaster asked. He wanted to poke it but decided not to. It was still obviously alive so it was just best to let the damn thing suffer he thought.

"Because crap happens. Where the hell is She-Hulk? "Harley answered for Deadpool. "It would have been preferable if you guys came a little earlier "

"Yeah what she said" Deadpool acknowledged still looking away from everyone, trying to see if they would again be attacked from the dark. She-Hulk finally jumped inside the building. The noises were now coming from all around them, which was getting spookier Harley thought. A large wolf just suddenly appeared in front of them, all sense of logic was going out the window.

She-Hulk being the only one not to roll around the floor from jumping into the building, looked at the fallen beast in puzzlement. It was like she saw a dead mouse in her apartment. She didn't know how it got there or how it died. "What is this?" She asked.

"I don't know and I don't know if there are others. Either way it seems Axel is not alone, so I suggest everyone get ready for whatever comes our way. "Harley said with as much seriousness as she could muster.

She-Hulk started to pre warn everyone on what was about to happen. She knew what was to come, and it wasn't good. "No guys, he is alone" she said in a manner that demanded attention. "All he needs is the power to open any portal from anywhere. Multiple realities, multiple universes, limitless possibilities. Axel Asher is going to rain down as many realms of hell as he can. And we can't do anything to stop it. "

A flash of light appeared again in front of them. They knew that whatever was going to come at them probably will be something they have not yet prepared.

When She-Hulk said limitless possibilities she meant it. Once the light went out again. A thousand screams was coming their way. There were probably hundreds of flying monkeys coming at them. What became a shock at first for Deadpool became a prime opportunity to start slicing as much limbs as he could. Harley thought it was fit to use her sledgehammer to its fullest potential. She-Hulk of course never needed the use of any physical object, she was a walking destruction device. And Taskmaster finally had a chance to prove what he was capable of. This was going to be a long one Harley Quinn thought. If they could even last that very long.

It took a couple of hours but they completed their first bloody task. Kill off every living thing that would come at them. The flying monkeys that Axel unleashed were from a reality of the Wizard of Oz universe. The whole squad were trying to catch their breath. They each looked at their respective directions to make sure all was good. The fight carried outside of the building. The building would be too cramped of a fight with a bunch of flying primates. Arms legs, torsos, and heads were in full display around them. Deadpool of course had to be the first to say something about what just transpired.

"I cannot be the only one that thought there was going to be a tornado coming our way?"

Harley's sledgehammer felt heavy. She didn't want to let go, it was far better to feel the weight of what can protect her then to have nothing and get killed. She didn't want her weapon of choice to get out of her sight.

"I really wanted to kill that wicked witch. I was really hoping to hear a wretched laugh from somewhere "Harley said panting.

She-Hulk took that to interject and remind them "well who knows what he might bring out. Every possible reality that could be imagined could be brought into our reality" she exclaimed.

"Well I hope the next reality is a universe of just pillows and beds. I could use a nap right about now" Harley said. It was obvious she wanted to just lay where she stood at the moment.

"I don't know when that would be possible. Until we are out of the equation Axel is going to just make it worse. "

"I don't know if I should be frightened or excited." Harley said. She-Hulk gave an astonished look towards her.

"Don't get me wrong this is just the bottom of the crap river that we are just going to have to paddle up threw. But I mean, we just killed a bunch of creatures from our childhood. That's kinda cool right? I mean who knows what's next, maybe the Cthulhu? Or maybe the Smurfs."

Deadpool's eyes widened. "Yeah and maybe the Staypuft marshmallow man will come."

Harley shrugged "yeah, I don't know what that is but yeah."

"Me and you have a lot of films to watch when we are done."

She-Hulk hoped Deadpool was right. She hoped that once this was all done they could just laugh about it and watch some flicks. But the odds of all of them living was becoming much smaller by the minute. And there seemed to be no reinforcements coming to help. But even though she wanted to add more positivity that Deadpool and Harley were bringing she didn't see much of an upside to it all.

"Look guys, I know and you know that there is no way of turning back." She longed towards the Wayne industries building that they just leaped from, still with their lives intact. "But we must go back. And hopefully with all the noise and destruction that will be going on, reinforcements will come our way." Everyone stood silent for a moment. After looking at Harley for a split second Deadpool started to walk away.

"Hey, where you going? You're not leaving us are you?" Harley said in a desperate tone. She started to ponder if maybe he wasn't the person she thought he was but Deadpool answered and reassured her of what kind of person he was.

"Hell no am I going anywhere. I'm going to the nearest gun store and get as much of an arsenal as I can. And I suggest everyone put aside their 'no gun policy' too. This is no time to have those silly 'morals' or 'ethics' "Deadpool said while using air quotes looking right at She-Hulk.

Harley smiled. For everyday she knew Deadpool the more she wanted to know about him. And the best way to know him is through senseless violence. She started too walked beside him knowing he would probably not know where the nearest gun store would be.

Deadpool enjoyed his heroic moment just now, he only hoped to be alive to truly relish in it. It could have been a long speech but what could have been something genuine probably would have become Al Pacino in "Any Given Sunday". And no one needs that right about now. It was just good enough to know that Harley was on board. That is until he noticed Taskmaster and She-Hulk following not so far behind. It was going to be a good day Deadpool thought, a bloody and destructive day. But a good one nonetheless.

The Reject Squad had as much firepower as one can muster. Deadpool had every hand gun he could find and to attach to himself with. Harley Quinn brought along as much rocket launchers, Bazookas, and RPG's as her two hands could handle. Deadpool and Harley thought Taskmaster and She-Hulk had more an uninspired inventory. They of course wanted balance and good marksmanship weapons to bring along. Yeah good luck with all that Harley thought to herself shaking her head.

"I feel like I pressed the Konami code I have so much ammo." Deadpool said enthusiastically. Harley checked him out and she gave the thumbs up in approval. Deadpool looked at her up and down all around her. He was satisfied with everything she was at this moment. Again he thought why I must have tight pants at this moment.

"And what about us "She-Hulk asked, needing the right approval.

"Meh" Harley answered. It was the best criticism she could think of. She-Hulk sighed. She wasn't good in the whole gun thing and it seemed Taskmaster wasn't good either. He was still trying to put on his ammo belt.

"Have you ever faced The Punisher before Taskmaster?" Deadpool asked.

"Yes of course I have" Taskmaster said in a matter of fact.

"Then how the hell are you taking so long about this?" He said frustratingly.

"Because I'm good with armed combat not that gun crap you're into"

"Hey we're the Picasso of combat. You're just him during the later years when he was just in it for the money" Deadpool laughed and it seemed he was the only one. Taskmaster ignored him while he finally put on his belt. The gun store was almost completely empty, and it seemed everyone was as ready as could be.

Harley hated silent tension as much as anyone 'alright lets go get our assess handed to us"

"Reject Squad for the win baby" Deadpool screamed.

They all walked out of the gun store in a hurry. It seemed that there only plan was to fight as much as possible until others came to help. How long that would take they didn't know. What mattered was staying alive as long as possible. As they were getting closer to the Wayne building the bright light came again. And more destructive mysteries unfolded.

(Four days later)

Deadpool decapitated one of the last Stormtroopers to come at him. She-Hulk just finished throwing one a couple of miles away. Harley annihilated a group of them with one of her many rocket launchers. Taskmaster with his side of the fight smashing one himself with its own helmet.

"You know there might be a lot of these guys but at least they can't shoot a worth of lick" Taskmaster said while putting the stormtroopers helmet under his arm as a trophy.

"Yeah I don't know what they were shooting at but it seemed not to be us" Harley said. She continued, "And what are these swords I see? What are they fluorescent light bulb swords?"

"I don't know but they took off one of my arms already. So they don't just let you see in the dark." Deadpool said while rubbing his newly attached arm. It was of course mending with duct tape.

There were mountains of debris everywhere. They consisted of demonic like monsters, spaceships, and for some reason Smurfs. The squad felt really bad about killing off the little blue beings, but it had to be done. Harley and Deadpool were smashing them the second they lied eyes on them. The smurfs looked to be yelling that they meant no harm but that didn't stop Harley from smashing them with her sledgehammer. The blue blood was all over their bodies, never to really remove their small but horrifying screams from their heads.

How they survived none of the squad could tell you. For everything that Axel was bringing toward them, they handled. It was messy but proficient, and there were many times when they wanted to quit. But they knew that was never going to be an option. Sadly help had yet to come through. She-Hulk suspected that Axel had found a way to keep away the fact that he was destroying the city. But there was no way of knowing. No one had, as of yet eyes on the target, which wasn't good of course. Bringing multiple threats from infinite possibilities would never tire him out. This was probably all a game to him anyway, just a fun little project until he goes on to his real mission.

She-Hulk wanted to talk to the others before the next flash of light came in, "guys there has to be another way to go through all of this. I have seen the sun rise four times so far and we haven't even gotten close to Axel."

They all stood silent in agreement. As fun as it was to kill many from other universes there is a point where it was going to get tiring and that was two days ago. She-Hulk decided to break the silence "I think there is some sort of barrier blocking what is going on here. I don't know how he is doing it, but it has to be. All this time and not one person has come to help."

"We'll it could be all those Cyclops things sacked them away." Deadpool said. "I mean maybe I am just going off a limb here." Harley did a short burst of laughter after he said that pun. "But maybe we are just the only living thing here"

"I highly doubt that. Yes I think we have been doing great so far. But after all ...this monstrosity that we just faced, don't you think we should have at least gotten some sort of help?

Deadpool looked at Harley. She looked back at him, they gave each other an expression of defeat. The fun was now going to be over, they actually needed to come up with "Dun dun dddduuunnnn a plan" he said.

They all stood silent again for a minute or two. The next threat could come any second or so, but it didn't seem like they were going to move yet. Harley's face gave a eureka expression, like the idea was just brought to her lap. "Helicopter" she said while looking at everyone. She-Hulk and Taskmaster didn't know if they should participate in the newly word game. Deadpool heard the one word as well, but it seemed like he knew where she was going with it.

"We have been salvaging weapons at the closest G.C.P.D prescient building. And I did notice that there has been a helicopter up there. Not used, good as new." Still silence but she continued "Helicopter, flying, easier way to get inside building where Axel is. Do I really have to keep explaining "she ended saying in a tone of frustration.

She-Hulk got the mist of what she was saying. Maybe it was the endless amount of days of fighting that was giving her a brain fatigue but it could be a good idea she thought. "And you know how to fly?" She asked Harley.

"Eh, I don't actually have a license nor do I know how to land but I know how to steal one and get it up from there" Harley said without much confidence. She-Hulk didn't want to agree on this, the odds were not on their favor but they survived this long so why not take the chance.

"I call shotgun" Deadpool interrupted as he was raising his hand.

"And you know you only have one shot at this right?" She-Hulk said to Harley and Deadpool.

"You're not coming with us?" Harley asked her.

"No its best if me and Taskmaster stood on the ground provide as much of a distraction as we can. You and Deadpool will be the ones to infiltrate the building"

Harley clapped loudly in pure joy "Oooohhh infiltrate, it sounds like a physics class."

"Yes, do that by any means necessary. Hopefully getting a hold of him will mean whatever barrier he has will be brought down"

Deadpool gave a straight salute "Rodger Dodger hodger"

They were all ready to move but no one did. During the four days they have been battling monsters, stormtroopers, spaceships, and regretfully smurfs they developed a bond. They knew this was probably there final play at Axel and there was chance they all won't make it. And that was actually going to be hard on all of them. Before the great destruction of Axel they wouldn't even lend a hand to another but now they wanted to be the helping hand for each other that only a few had the reservations for. Harley, Deadpool, She-Hulk and Taskmaster would each give their lives gladly now for one another. It was better than seeing each other's dead body next to them.

Deadpool took out his fist. Harley immediately saw what he was gesturing and put her fist next to his. The others did the same. They all smiled at one another, hoping that this was not going to be the last time they were going to see each other.

"Reject Squad"

"Reject Squad"

"Reject Squad"

"Reject Squad" and they all said it in the same time. "REJECT SQUAD"

Deadpool was breathing excessively, he wasn't much of a runner. That's why they invented bullets, so they could chase the people he wanted faster. And after this whole war of the world's fiasco he didn't think he had anymore cardio. I gotta lay off the crunch berries Deadpool thought to himself. Harley was only a couple of feet in front of him, huffing and puffing herself. They were both not too far away from the police prescient. They were still on borrowed time for when the next wave will come in. And who knew what the next threat will be. Harley thought that Axel was basically toying with them at this point. Probably laughing hysterically at what they were enduring. He could probably destroy each of them any second but just didn't want to end it all. A destructive trait that Harley knew too well, her one love in life was exactly like that. What was once something Harley loved, later became an abusive murderer whose only point of living was torturing others.

They finally reached the prescient when Harley kicked the door open. Deadpool stopped to catch his breath for a moment. Harley was almost on her way to the roof when she noticed he wasn't next to her.

"Come on. You wing bat, were almost there. You can rest on the helicopter."

"Fine, fine, I think I dropped a lung back there. "

They were both on the roof and Harley jumped in first into the pilot's seat in the helicopter. Deadpool shortly followed. She started the engine and the propellers turned. Harley yelped in glee.

Deadpool spoke after Harley's loud jubilation 'so since you don't know how to land, how are we going to go about this?"

"Come on, now you want to come up with a plan?"

"Well first plan of action is for me to remember what oxygen is, then after you put us above the Wayne building I'll just tie myself up with that rope behind me and start blasting."

"Well look at you, did you grow the cognitive part of your brain since this whole thing started?"

"Yes me uses lots of cognition"

The Helicopter was finally up in the air. Getting to their mark would be incredibly easy, Harley and Deadpool hoped that She-Hulk and Taskmaster would provide whatever distraction they could. They only had one chance at this, hopefully it will count.

Once they were in the direction of the building a flash of light came upon them. It was almost right on cue. Like Axel wanted everyone to prepare before his next assault. Deadpool hoped that his cockiness will get the best of him, then he laughed at the word cocky.

Harley and Deadpool's eyes were getting pretty use to the bright light, so there eyes weren't in pain like their first introduction. Their eyes though weren't getting used to what they saw next.

"You know what I hate the most?" Deadpool asked.

"Let me guess, spiders."

"Yes, how did you know?"

"Well because I have that same hatred as you...and there is a giant one on top of our targeted building."

The large monstrous arachnoid was sitting on top of the Wayne building. It was just plopped on top of it like it came from a jar. The numerous amount of eyes were looking at the helicopter like its next meal. It shook and rattled its large greyish form. Preparing itself to pounce at any moment. Waiting for the chance to devour Deadpool and Harley. As they got closer they could see the dark greyish furs being blown slightly by the wind. Both of their worst fears was seeing a spider as big as their hands. So it only amplified by a hundred when they saw one as big as a building.

The spider shot out a speck of web out of its mouth toward the helicopter. Harley swerved it just in time. What was probably a speck from the spider was as huge as a house Harley and Deadpool noticed. The six black orb like eyes were still fixated on them. Deadpool got up from his chair and took the rope behind him. He was most likely going to swing toward the building earlier than expected.

"Don't you think it's too early right about now?" Harley asked trying not to let her voice break. Deadpool took out the automatic rifles from his back. Harley never understood how one man could come up with so many weapons on a whim, he was a walking video game character.

"I don't think so, best thing for me to do is swing now, and hope our friends from below will provide a distraction. This would be a great time to play a song"

Harley had a hard time looking at Deadpool and keeping her attention on the big spider, what song?"

"I feel Bonnie Tyler is in order right about now. 'I need a hero' being specifically my choice of song right about now" Deadpool said while cocking his weapon. He started to wrap the rope around him and started to get out the helicopter. He started to wrap the rope on the side of the helicopter with the utmost precision. He has probably done this too many times to count. And Deadpool looked like he was just going to go to the corner store. Harley looked at him a growing fondness for him, she didn't know if she was attracted to his madness or his sure willingness to sacrifice himself for the greater good. But it only made her more worried for him in this particular situation. She couldn't convince him otherwise of course, she could only make sure the helicopter was as close as possible before the spider decided to pounce on them.

Deadpool was swinging below the helicopter right about now, ready to jump at any second. But before he could, he took out an iPod from his pocket and put in the headphones.

"Are you really going to put that on?" Harley said loud enough for Deadpool to hear.

"I don't know about you, but if I'm going to die, I would least like to hear a classic glamorous rock jam in my ear."

The spider seemed primed and ready to spit out another web at them when a rocket hit its side. The spider screeched in a terrifying manner. Luckily it turned its attention to where it was hit. Harley noticed the blast came from She-Hulk and Taskmaster. They were providing the cover fire Harley and Deadpool so desperately needed. Which Harley was depraved to know because that meant she can get closer to the building. But due to the fact that it has been so long since they have been inside the building Harley didn't actually remember where Axel was.

"Crap! I forgot where Axel is located. I don't know where I should drop you." Deadpool smiled after she said that.

"That means you're going to ride around the building until either me or you see him" Deadpool said enthusiastically.

"And why are you happy about that?"

"Because mi lady, I could get to use this." He put up his rifles and with a free finger pressed his iPod to play and dropped down.

"DEAPOOL" she screamed. Harley didn't expect for him to drop down so fast. But she put the nose down and went starlight ahead towards the building. They were only thirty seconds away and Harley could tell that the giant spider was being well distracted, which gave her enough time to search for Axel.

Deadpool's ears were being caressed by the loud boisterous voice of Bonnie Tyler. He thought the best way to start their search as he was suspended from midair was shoot till he ran out of bullets, which was probably never. Once he started to raddle the building with bullets he belted "I NEED A HERO" as loud and as annoying as he wanted, and thus started the symphony of destruction from Deadpool.

Windows were being shattered every second that Deadpool and Harley were passing around the building. The spider was roaring in frustration at She-Hulk and Taskmaster. They were providing perfect cover for them. It wouldn't be too long before Harley and Deadpool found Axel.

She-Hulk and Taskmaster were shooting as much of its arsenal as it could. Part of them hoped that maybe the spider would come down towards them thus giving the time for Deadpool and Harley to get inside. Another part wanted the giant six legged beast to stay up there. Everyone thinks spiders are creepy, no matter how green and powerful you are.

"Dammit there hovering around the building. I don't think they could find him. There just circling as freaking Deadpool is shooting at nothing." She-Hulk said. She was getting frustrated by how long this was all taking. The more time they were trying to distract the spider the less time Deadpool and Harley had of getting inside. And it seemed like the spider was beginning to notice that. She-Hulk had to improvise.

"Task, come here." She braced towards him.

"What?" As Taskmaster was about to shoot some more at the spider.

"Sorry buddy but you're going to have to go up there. "

"What? Why? What the hell. I thought we were going to be sad and stuff because Deadpool and Harley weren't going to make It."

"Well you just showed your true self now didn't you" and she took Taskmaster and threw him to the building. While midair taskmaster took out his rusty swords and smashed them against the window he was thrown into. She-Hulk started to shoot at the monster to keep up with the distraction.

Deadpool was basically walking alongside the building as he was continuing his search for Axel. The music was still blaring into his ears as his adrenaline rush was still going strong. He was shooting every window they pass. The ground was being poured by shattered glass below him. After a couple of more seconds of random shooting Harley noticed someone inside the building. It had to be Axel. So she decided to back away from the building for Deadpool to swing inside. Deadpool didn't notice at first what she was doing, but before he could protest he saw the same figure inside that she did. When he was a couple of yards away from the building he dropped his guns and took the blade. Once he felt he had good momentum he swung the blade as his body was approaching closer to where Axel was and cut the rope.

Harley's heart jumped once she saw Deadpool in midair. But she blew an air of relief once he was inside. She now had to worry about the spider that was on the building's roof. "Time to destroy this disgusting insect and call it a day" she said.

Deadpool was inside the building and hoped another flash of light wouldn't come. But he saw a man just sitting there tranquil. A glowing box in front of him dimming in brightness alongside his breathing. The man had his eyes closed, like in some sort of meditation. Deadpool wanted to kick his face but thought otherwise. Maybe there was a reason for this man doing absolutely nothing as he was trying to kill everyone. Deadpool heard the screech from the spider again, followed by rumbling. It sounded and felt like the spider was coming down. The giant spider knew something was afoul around its master. Deadpool looked behind him and saw the spider's legs crawling inside.

"Dammit, this is not the way I want to go." He said in pure fear. Then he heard a not so loud noise coming beside him. It was Taskmaster.

"Oh yes my hero. You go get him distracted while he eats you." Deadpool said to him.

"What? No I'm not going to do that." Taskmaster said in shock, and took out his weapons.

Deadpool shrugged "fine I guess we'll die together. You already look half eaten already.

The spider's fangs were wet with venom as it was half way inside the building, but before it could enter fully a helicopter crashed unto its backside. It gave just the slight budge for the spider to fall to the ground. But that didn't matter to Deadpool he started to think the worst for Harley "Harley no!" he screamed.

(Just a couple of seconds ago)

Before crashing the helicopter Harley saw She-Hulk down below. And she was climbing alongside the building. Once she was far enough up She-Hulk jumped on the side of the helicopter.

"Alright Harley, time for you to get out of this Popsicle stand." She told Harley. Harley nodded in agreement. Once they saw the spider coming down on the side of the building they both knew what to do next. They waited patiently for the spider to get almost inside the building before Harley moved the helicopter in top speed toward it. Once She-Hulk knew it was good to leave, she grabbed Harley to drop down. It was a successful landing that was added with more good news when they saw the spider falling down. It only took a couple of seconds once they hit the floor to have the beast plop alongside them. Once it hit the ground She-Hulk got to work. She knew the insect was still alive so she started to rip the legs of it. It was a cruel but effective, the spider screamed in horror as its legs was being ripped apart. Before it could ever get an offense on both of them She-Hulk ripped out its last leg.

Harley was beyond joy of what she saw, "Wow, that was disgusting and cool all at the same time" She-Hulk flicked the last leg behind her like a chicken leg. She was panting a little as she spoke

"You know, I didn't think you were going to be the best of help with all of this but you have really come through. You have actually impressed me" she seemed to mean what she said, which made Harley blush a little.

"Thanks, that means a lot"

"Well let's not get too sentimental just yet, we've got to meet up with the others." And she took Harley by the waist and jumped up to the building.

Deadpool was in complete shock. He imagined the horror of Harley's dead body down below. When more images popped into his head he looked towards Axel. He marched towards him like a drum beat. Axel was still calm while in meditation. But that was interrupted by a kick to the face. Deadpool repeated the action some more by stomping his skull. Taskmaster had to stop him from continuing further.

"Deadpool, you can't kill him" Taskmaster pleaded.

"I don't see why not. He has tried to kill us already and he will continue to do it. As he sits and farts around here too." Deadpool was livid. Usually he would have a pun or some sexual joke to say right about now but Taskmaster could tell none of that was going to happen.

"Look he's down. He isn't going to give us any trouble." Taskmaster was interrupted with someone other than Deadpool repeating something.

"Thanos, Thanos, Thanos, Thanos" Axel kept repeating. His eyes were outside of a trance now. Fully aware of his surroundings he was starting to gather everything that was around him. Taskmaster was beside him, frustrated not knowing exactly Axel was repeating.

"Did he just say Thanos?" He asked Deadpool. Before Deadpool could chime in Harley and She-Hulk climbed inside the building. Deadpool saw Harley and it was beyond joy. But he wanted to contain his happiness so he could still be cool about it. Which only made him feel stupid with his recent actions. Of course she was still alive, no important character like her would die that easily.

Harley looked at Deadpool as she and She-Hulk was walking towards them. Harley ran to Deadpool and jumped on him to wrap her legs around him. Her smile was stretched from ear to ear, "why hey there fried chicken face" she said enthusiastically.

"Well hey yourself hot clown"

Harley gave a quick kiss and dropped herself down. Deadpool was almost woozy from the joy of it. She-Hulk interrupted the happy moment.

"So we finally apprehended Axel?"

Taskmaster answered her, Deadpool was still on another planet mentally. "Yes but it seems his mind might be altered. He keeps repeating the name Thanos "

She-Hulk's eyes bulged out of her sockets, it was one of the few names she did not want to hear "Thanos! Are you kidding me?" Now it's just going to get worse."

Harley still happy to see Deadpool part of the living asked "who's Thanos?"

Deadpool started to give an answer "imagine all your most extreme villains"

"Okay" she answered

"Now wrap that up in a bow of pure madness and put a card of obsessive love issues with Death and there you have whom we call Thanos"

"That bad huh?"

"Well in a positive note, he is no taller than six feet last time I checked. So we have that edge on him."

She-Hulk went over to Axel. He was still repeating Thanos name. She-Hulk quickly deduced that all this destruction was coming from someone that was being mind controlled. Which gave her a new level of frustration.

"He is being mind altered by Thanos. Which means were not done yet."

Taskmaster asked "but we got Axel shouldn't we be done with this?"

She-Hulk nodded her head "if I know Thanos, then this isn't over. We must search for him."

Taskmaster drooped his head down when he heard that. "Crap"

"Yes crap" She-Hulk agreed.

They all saw a man with a blue and red uniform flying their way from outside the buildings window. Which most likely indicated that the cloaking barrier was down. There help was arriving.

"Who is that?" Deadpool asked.

"Superman" Harley sighed saying.

"Superman? Well that's a lame name."

"And he is just as lame. Imagine the most boring individual alive with almost every superhuman power. That's Superman."

Deadpool and Harley realized that most likely there mission was over. The "professionals" were now here to take care of the rest. Which only meant for them to hang back and watch. But Harley and Deadpool weren't the stand and watch type.

Deadpool asked She-Hulk a question, "if someone touched this glowing thingy do they know where they will go?"

"Most likely not. Only Axel could free willingly know where to go. Why do you ask?"

Deadpool and Harley gave her puppy eyes. She - Hulk drooped her shoulders down. "You're planning to go to multiple realities aren't you?" She painstakingly asked.

Harley answered, "Look she - green I know you meant what you said down there, I have a lot of potential. But to the guys like Batman and Superman I'm just another nutty villain who deserves to be locked up in Arkham Asylum. They are just going to keep us in the back for us to watch. And I think you know by now we are not those guys."

She-Hulk knew she had a point. Probably the moment Captain America sees Deadpool he will immediately tell him to fall back. Deadpool and Harley weren't the good guys she thought. But they weren't the bad guys either. They looked at the world in a different way, and after four days of fighting beside them she was happy to know they were becoming close friends. The avengers can be kinda diva like in there group anyway.

"Go ahead" She-Hulk said with a small smile coming along her face.

Deadpool and Harley looked astonished. "Really?" They both said in unison.

"Yeah, we'll take it from here. You guys do what you gotta do. You guys have the fun, let us do the dirty work "

Deadpool walked over to She-Hulk, he put out his arms for a hug, and they did. It was weird, this moment, She-Hulk thought, but she had to ask "You're really trying not to touch my Butt aren't you?"

"Hey what are friends for?" Deadpool answered. He let her go and hugged Taskmaster. "Coming with Task?"

"Nah, you'll annoy me within the first world "

"True, take care good buddy. And don't believe everything they say about you"

"Everything they say is because of you"

Deadpool shrugged and walked toward the bright orb. Harley ran to She-Hulk and hugged her hard as she could.

"My goodness you're strong. And thank you." Harley expressed.

"And thank you. If you're ever around give me a call. I think someone like you can change up the Avengers in a good way."

"Sure sugar"

"And don't tell Deadpool, he'll just get jealous."

Harley put a finger to her lips to indicate their secret was safe.
She went over to hug Taskmaster. "And thank you skeleton man."

"Thank you too" he said not knowing if that was an insult or not.

Harley walked over to where Deadpool stood. The glowing orb was glowing in front of them. It started to know a presence in front of it and the light grew to their size. Harley and Deadpool worried a little bit, they didn't know what was beyond the light. They both held hands and looked at one another, whatever troubles they were about to get into was going to be accompanied together and that made all the difference. Harley and Deadpool smiled at each other and went inside the portal. And vanished.

The end.

That's it?

Yeah pretty much.

That can't be it.

Yeah it is.

But you mentioned Thanos and stuff, there has to be more to it.

Maybe.

Maybe? What in the blue hell is maybe? Wait, you don't have a plan do you?

Not really?

(Deadpool slaps his head) Marvel should just shoot you from where you stand.

Look maybe I will write another story.

Oh after you read all the "your story sucks" reviews? I'm sure that'll take a while.

Don't be mean.

Don't be sucky.

You wanted more didn't you?

Yeah, the majority of all fan fiction is sex and stuff. And I didn't get any of that. She just kissed me. Come on, a brotha needs a little bit more than that.

I won't lie to you I'm not going to write that.

Fine I'll write one on my own. You wrote something, then I'm sure any person with more than five digits can do it.

Fine go ahead.

I already got the title "Deadpool and the attack of the massive boobies"

Sigh.
