-Daigoshō: Hitori no on'nanoko, dāsu no shigoto-

Naruko went about her normal daily routine, doing her hunting and training as usual, only after getting into a safe alleyway did she make her Kage Bunshins that Henged into their roles. All the Bunshins were ready to do what they had been getting sent to do every day for nearly a year. It was now a hot Summer's morning in early July, clear skies above, long shadows just now shrinking under the might of the Sun. Not a word was spoken by any of the Bunshin, nor by Naruko herself, it was over at a nod, everyone disappeared leaving no trace of their presence. If it wasn't for the fact that Naruko was hated by almost everyone in the village, she might never have become so smart, or strong. So she decided that learning everything she could from them until there was nothing left to learn would be all it takes to rebuild her clan, her village, and forge the bonds needed to protect those she cares about.

~Carpentry/Construction job~

One of Naruko's Bunshins using a Henge to become a young man with black hair and eyes; wearing a work tank top, tan pants, wooden sandals, and a toolbelt, "Oi! Zabimaru!" Shouted a short man with gray hair wearing tan overalls, "Ohaio Kenichi-dono." Naruko said politely, "No need to be so formal with me, we've been working together a while now, you're practically family," Kenichi said with a laugh, "Alright, let's do this," Kenichi finished motioning to follow, "We're making a house for my nephew, he's going to be moving here in a month so let's work hard," Kenichi said with a smile, "Alright Kenichi, is this the plot of land here?" Naruko asked while looking hard at the decent sized plot of dirt, "This is it, but as you can see, it needs a little work," Kenichi said while staring at the dirt with a critical eye, "Ah yes, I see the dirt is very loose, though I don't see how that is going to be an issue if we intend to make a basement as well," Naruko said, more as a question than not, but it didn't quite sound like one, "Ah, it wouldn't normally be but," Kenichi said trailing off, "Say, you can use Earth Manipulation, right?" Kenichi asked Naruko, Naruko nodded in affirmation to the question, "Alright, can you just turn it to mud then resolidify it before making it mud again in quick succession for a bit?" Naruko raised her brow at this, "Alrighty then," Naruko did as was asked, but after the third or fourth time of doing so the ground collapsed into a massive sinkhole, "As I thought." Stated Kenichi.

Naruko just stared for a moment but knew she shouldn't be surprised, he had great foresight. Kenichi pointed to a pile of timber, bags of concrete and an assortment of other tools, "Grab the measuring tape and stakes, we're going to get the dimensions first before worrying about the hole," Kenichi said with a smile and a calm tone. Naruko again did as was asked of her, they measured around a perimeter of twenty meters by twenty meters, the hole was fifteen meters in diameter, "These latches on the stakes make working with this Measuring tape so much easier." Naruko said plainly, "Oh that, my son thought it up one day after seeing me struggle with measuring things myself," Kenichi said whilst chuckling a bit, "Very thoughtful young one you got," Naruko said, "Yeah he is, what about you? You have any youngins to take care o'?" Kenichi asked, "No, I'm not even in a relationship yet, believe it or not," Naruko said with a smile, Kenichi's jaw dropped at hearing this, "A fine young man like yourself who is already good with his hands, I thought you'd be a hit with the ladies." Kenichi said plainly, "You're probably right, but I don't get out much besides to come work with you and learn what I can from a master," Naruko said while looking at the hole, "Oh yeah the hole, *Ahem*, just pack the Earth around it down as best you can to reduce the chance of another cave in, we're going to be putting in twenty-five Centimeters of Concrete around the basement anyways," Kenichi said with his hand on his chin in a thinking gesture, Naruko did as she was told and was surprised to see just how deep the hole went afterwards, "Well, I guess have a double decker basement is a perk," said Kenichi barely at a whisper, "We're going to need some of the Reinforcing bars, by the looks of it we'll need a few, what's the depth of this hole?" He asked two questions without pause almost in a confusing manner.

Naruko checked the depth of the hole, it was five meters deep, "Perfect actually, the Reinforcing bar is ten meters tall." Kenichi said, "Make the hole square, then we're going to place the reinforcing bar in and get a mix of concrete to cover the bottom of that hole," Kenichi said while grabbing his mixer, and a bag of mix. Naruko did as the man said, making great haste they had placed the reinforcing bar in a box cluster pattern throughout where the walls will be, "Alright, now pour it in fast at first, but slow it down once we get near the end." Pouring the Concrete in, they kept an eye on the reinforcing bar to make sure that they stayed straight up. After finishing the pouring they corrected a few bars before letting it dry, while waiting they went over the floor plans Kenichi drew up, it was going to have plumbing, H.V.A.C., electricity, and this new type of construction, it was used on larger scale bridges in recent years. "Alright, let's get the bulkheads up, we need to make a wooden outline that will sit on the deck down there. It will outline twenty-five Centimeters from the dirt," Kenichi said while slowly going back to his sailor habits, "Kenichi, we're not building a ship," Naruko said slightly teasingly, "Hehe, oh right, I do that sometimes. Let's get back to work, this doesn't complete itself." Kenichi said, holding up a finger. After finishing framing the walls, they poured the concrete which would take the rest of the work day to dry, "Well, let's get ready to pack up, Sun'll be going down soon." Naruko looked up and nodded, "Looks like that's that then, after we pack up and get back, I guess I'll see you tomorrow." Naruko said, "You're always welcome to come by the shop if you need to work some wood real good, or maybe if you just need to get away from the hood." Kenichi said, after packing up and heading back, both said their goodbyes. The Bunshin quickly went out of sight before dispelling, they will collect the pay on payday.

~Plumbing job~

The Henged Kage Bunshin, looking like an elderly man with white hair and gray eyes went to help a younger man who was a plumber. The plumber cleared clogs, replaced pipes, fixed pipes, installed pipes, could build an entire pipe network for a house without the house and was generally the best plumber you could wish for, "You know Takumi, I've known you for about a year now but still can't understand something about you." The plumber said while fixing a leaky sink valve, "Oh, and what might that be Nazartth?" Naruko asked, "Why are you learning to do plumbing at your age? I thought you'd be retired by now… No offense." Nazareth asked, Naruko let out an elderly sounding chuckle, "Ah, I lost my money gambling back when I had an addiction to the dastardly thing, plumbing is a great paying field, especially since very few people can stand doing it." Naruko stated in a very calm and calculated tone. That statement roused a laugh from Nazareth, "You know old man, you're great company, unlike a lot of this village who have their heads so far up their cranky asses that you can't talk to them without feeling the shit coming out of their mouths." Nazareth stated with a factual tone in his voice, "I'll agree with you on that one." Naruko said. Nazareth was one of the people who Naruko wasn't sure would mind the real her, he was young enough to not be aware of Naruko's status though, but old enough to have been there for sure. "Hey Takumi, can you hand me the adjustable?" Naruko found the Adjustable wrench and handed it to him, a calm silence followed. It was only broken when Nazareth came out from underneath the sink, "Well, that was easy," Nazareth said with a straight face.

There were practically no jobs for that day as a plumber, the largest thing they had dealt with was a flooded basement earlier this month. Both Nazareth and Naruko decided to just talk about pipes, how pressure and velocity were the main factors behind ruptures outside of temperature, and what pipes were good where. They spent the rest of the day just talking about tools, and other essential plumbing knowledge.

~Electrician/Scientist~

"Oh Michiru-chan~," said a scarily sweet woman, "Could you hand me the flathead?" She said with a serious tone in her voice, "Hai Nazuna-san." The only person Naruko was ever formal with, mainly because this crazy lady could actually probably kill Naruko despite her skills. "Almost done," Nazuna said, almost seductively, "It's complete, MREHEEHEHEHEHE," Nazuna started to laugh almost in a catlike way, "With this we can make electricity without the use of Chakra!" Naruko stared at her in shock, "Without Chakra?" Nazuna then looked at Naruko like she said something extremely dumb, "Yes, that's what I just said." Nazuna said, slightly annoyed, "So… How does it, DO that?" Naruko asked, "It spins," Nazuna said like it made all the sense in the world, "W-what?" Naruko asked, not understanding, "IT. SPINS!" Nazuna repeated, the weird sphere with two exit nozzles attached by to a stand via a rotating joint sat on the table with a line of weird blocks around it, "It spins really fast causing the coils around it to catch Electrons producing an alternating current in tune with the frequency of its rotation, the strength of each pulse can also be increased with a transformer. Oh the possibilities are endless, I can even convert it to Direct Current, maybe we can use this the other way around to make mechanical energy from electrical energy, have we already done that? Can we do that?" Nazuna was lost in her thoughts out loud, Naruko didn't understand a word of it, but listened as much as she could. They spent the rest of their time talking about how to install electronics, how to use what she created, and over all electronics/science stuff.

~Medical~

Naruko was knee deep in scrolls, trying to comprehend some of the things she read, but she was rushing so fast that she started having trouble, so she started over but this time at a slower pace. Naruko really wanted to learn Medical Jutsu so she could protect her loved ones from harm, should it ever befall upon one of them. Naruko's teacher was never around, didn't even get her name, just a lot of scrolls, sometimes a test or two, one practical exam so far, reviving a dead fish, very unorthodox, but very effective. Naruko estimates herself at Low-Chunin Medic-Nin, her knowledge of the subject is limited due to not researching into the human body more, the Bunshin would make sure the Original started looking seriously into it with a large group. "Hey, Gaki, with me," said an average-sized, young woman who has a slender frame, light brown, pupil-less eyes, Purple hair styled in a short, spiky, fanned-out ponytail. She had a custom-made outfit that was crafted of thin metal mesh to fit the lines of her body, that covers her from neck to thigh. Over this, she is wearing a tan overcoat with a purple in-seam and a pocket on each side, a dark orange mini-skirt, a dark blue belt, and pale gray shin guards. In addition to the typical forehead protector, she also wears a small pendant that looks like a snake fang, "Are you really a medic-nin?" Naruko asked, "You listen here Gaki, I never said I was a medic," The woman said with a seductive yet deep tone, Naruko gulped at this as she was led away.

They entered the hospital, "I got a young Medic-nin here, care to show her the ropes?" Asked the woman, the woman behind the counter was shocked to see the purple haired Kunoichi, "Y-yes, we'll get down on it." She said hesitantly, "Good, Gaki, with her." The purple haired Kunoichi said before walking out of the doors to the hospital, "Come with me dear," Naruko's Bunshin used the Henge to become a sixteen-year-old, young adolescent female with light wavy brown hair, hazel eyes, and a black combat Kimono. Her pants were also black, with black sandals, and black surgeon style rubber gloves. Naruko followed the woman to the back where she pulled out a book, "Alright, name, Shinobi rank if one, healing ability rank if one, and sign here." Naruko nodded, "My name is Uzushi Narakin, I'm not a shinobi, I was told my healing was at Low Chunin," She lowered her estimate a bit in her head, she might have been Mid Chunin, but she didn't want to oversell her abilities, "Alright, now just sign here," The woman said, to which Naruko complied, "We're going to the non-emergency area to have you heal a few scrapes," The woman said with a smile as she led Naruko towards a smaller section of the hospital with about four exam rooms. It wasn't run down by any means, just a lot smaller than the rest of the hospital, "Izuku Midoriya," the woman called out in the waiting room, a young boy with spiky green hair got up, "Please don't be like Anko, please don't be like Anko," The woman kept repeating to herself, quiet enough that even Naruko had trouble hearing it, "Good morning Midoriya, I'm Bara, this here is Uzushi-san my medical assistant, she will be the one treating you today." Bara said sweetly, afterwards Bara nodded to Naruko. Naruko then used a medical Ninjutsu to check his body for wounds, he had a cracked rib and his pointer finger was heavily damaged on the inside from repeated injury, "Well, from what I can tell, you have a cracked rib, and your pointer finger is damaged from a repeated injury," Bara checked him over to confirm, to which she did confirm.

Naruko looked to Bara who nodded, healing the rib and the finger in a matter of moments, "You should be all better now," Naruko said with a smile, Bara stared at Naruko for a second, "Are you sure you healed him already? It usually takes a few minutes with those damages." Naruko looked at Bara like she had two heads, and Bara gave the same look. After a moment Bara checked the boy to see that she indeed did heal him fully, even the damage in his finger was all but gone, "I don't know who said you had Low Chunin healing abilities, but clearly they're not a medic-nin," Bara said standing up, "You're good to go Midoriya," Bara said to the young boy, as the boy was at the entrance to the building Bara continued, "You're at least High Jonin, even if you're inexperienced, a talent like yours is almost unheard of." Naruko blushed a bit at the praise, even if it came from someone she didn't really like, "I'm serious, another year or two of training and you might surpass the Namekuji-Sannin," Bara said with a serious expression, "Would you work with us here?" Bara asked, still serious as can be, "I look forward to working with you all," Naruko said back, she came here for the experience, if she could become like Tsunade with a little more than she wasn't going to waste it. If what she learned about Tsunade was anything to go by, then Naruko knew she could become a great Medic, maybe even teach others. Naruko continued to follow Bara who had brought her to the emergency area which was full of Shinobi, mostly as patients though.

Naruko could see people who were dying, and despite not liking the village, she couldn't bring herself to watch someone suffer, all the other Medic-nin were sprinting around trying to tend to many other heavy cases. "Training accident," was all she heard from one of the nurses. Bara walked with Naruko to some of the more critically injured, her task was to stabilize those she could, not to fully heal them. Naruko started going from bedside to bedside helping heal injured Shinobi, due to the seriousness of the injuries some of them took almost a minute to stabilize. It was a wonder that some of the more critically injured Shinobi survived, "I'm sure you must be tired after all that, it's not usually this busy," Bara said with a sad smile the bunshin knew that it had limited amounts of Chakra, but it still had plenty to keep doing what she did for at least the next few hours, "I can keep going," Naruko said, she looked towards a room with a patient who was going to lose his arm if no one stepped in, "I'm going to help him," Naruko said pointing to the room, to which Bara raised a brow, "His arm was all but completely severed, it will take surgery to reattach it." Bara said plainly, "We'll see about that." Naruko said with a foxy grin, she entered the room after knocking. Naruko noticed his arm in a cast to keep it still and sealed for surgery. Naruko just placed both hands on the cast, channeling her Chakra through the Medical-Ninjutsu, the man sharply inhaled at first before calming down quickly. Naruko kept healing the arm for about twenty minutes when she abruptly stopped, "You didn't." Bara said in shock, "I did… Mostly." Naruko said. Bara just stared at Naruko, "I got it to reattach fully but it will take him a while to get used to his arm again." Bara again couldn't think of words for a few moments, "While not at Namekuji-Sannin levels, you certainly are in a class of your own…" Naruko didn't want to tell her it's because her Chakra has extra vitality to it making it perfect for healing, Naruko still had a lot to learn for sure, but even as pretty much a novice she could heal some pretty nasty injuries.

Naruko looked at the time to realize that she'd been there the whole day, and soon the other Bunshin would dispel themselves. Naruko knew she'd be a little tired from today, "I have to go, I will be seeing you again tomorrow, please let my teacher know how I did." Naruko said with a slight bow before walking away. Naruko's clone turned to a closet before dispelling in a hidden area.

~Florist/Farmer~

Naruko walked into the Yamanaka store as a young blonde woman with blonde hair and rainbow eyes; she wore a red kimono with a black floral pattern on it, wooden sandals, and a hair piece that made her hair into a large but neat bun. "Kana-chan!" Ino said in excitement, "Good morning Ino." Both of them talked for a bit while setting up the shop, and tending the plants, they talked about plants, herbs, food stuffs and more. The entire day was Naruko learning about plants, tools, and about Ino, Ino tells Naruko a lot as her alias Riri Kana. Naruko learned a lot of plants over the last year actually, but now that they went to school together she used it to connect to her a little better, creepy? Definitely. Effective? Massively. The day continued on with them talking, doing a monetary exchange when someone came in for goods, and then back to talking. The day ended pretty much as it started, the only difference was the wave goodbye, she didn't learn much she hadn't already known today, but a refresher was always nice.

~Inuzuka Compound~

Naruko walked up to the Compound to hear it rowdy as always, she didn't use a different Henge for this one, she just walked in as herself she wasn't a Bunshin either, she was there in the flesh. "Hey Naru-chan," said a girl about twice her age, "Good afternoon Hana-chan," It was nice seeing the Inuzuka being nice to her, it started out as them being blatantly hostile at her for being there, but as she learned from them, they all became close, she was practically an Inuzuka now. As Naruko and Hana started walking to the clinic they heard Kiba and Akamaru training which brought a smile to Naruko's face. As they entered the clinic, they were met with the sight of a larger woman wearing a Jonin vest tending to the dogs already there, "Come on in Naru, Hana." Said the woman, "Hey Kaa-chan, we're here to help you with the dogs," Hana said, "I know, since you're both good with the dogs, I'm going to give you a challenge," The woman said, a glint in her eyes, "One of the pups in the back been a real handful," Both Hana and Naruko stared at each other for a moment, the woman waved for them to go. They were met with a young pure wolf pup, "Weak, all of you are WEAK," Hana stared at Naruko, "Can you understand this one?" Naruko nodded, "He's a little hard to understand for some reason," Hana said, "Not for me, so far all he's said is that we're all weak." Hana stared, flabbergasted at this information. Not so much that he was insulting everyone, but the fact that Naruko could understand a pup she couldn't, then she shrugged, remembering how easy it was for Naruko to understand all animals she came across. Hana sighed, "What do you want from me? Weaklings~!" The pup shouted, "Be quiet," Naruko said with a scary stillness, "Why should I do that? Huh Pipsqueak?" The pup shouted, "Hana-chan, you might want to look away for this," Hana had never seen Naruko angry before but she didn't like it, "I'll just go help Tsume in the other room." Hana said walking out, "So pup, you got a name?" Naruko asked, "What's-it-to-ya?" The pup asked almost as if he was Italian, "I just wanted to know what to put on your grave," Naruko said coldly, dropping her usual Henge and showing her features to the pup.

The pup was absolutely terrified at seeing the multiple tails, "Y-y-you're a, a-." "Bijuu? Not quite, I guess Han Oni would describe me, now pup, what. Is. Your. Name?" Naruko asked slowly, almost seductively if it wasn't for the slight Killing Intent being shot out to the pup, "I-I don't h-have one yet." The pup stammered out, "Oh really? You wait right here." Naruko said as she put her Henge back up, she then walked out to the front, "Hey Tusme-chan, does that pup have a name, or was he being serious when he said he didn't have one yet?" Tsume looked up to see Naruko, "Well Naru-chan, he doesn't have a name yet since he hasn't allowed anyone to name him, also the fact that very few Inuzuka can understand what he's saying, why?" Tsume asked cocking a brow at Naruko, "Oh, he told me he didn't have a name, I just wanted to confirm, I'm going to go back there then," Tsume looked at Naruko's back while she walked away, "That boy is full of surprises," Tsume said. As Naruko got back the pup hadn't moved at all, "Well, I see you weren't lying to me," Naruko said crossing her arms, "I wouldn't dream of it," the pup said quickly as if his life depended on it, for all he knew it did, "So, I guess I'll name you." Naruko said, "But that'd mean that I belonged to you, as your companion by-." Naruko stopped him, "I know what that means by Inuzuka law, but if you really want to call people weak, then you need to be strong enough to back it up, got it pup?" Naruko said almost menacingly with a large foxy grin. The pup nodded slowly before speaking up, "So… You're not going to kill me for calling you weak earlier?" Naruko stared at him for a moment, "I won't kill you, but the training will make you wish you died," Naruko said with an evil smirk. Naruko thought out loud, "Takahiro, Yasuhiro? Hmm, Yoshio? Yuudai maybe? Hmm, Kenta? Tamotsu, no…" Naruko trailed off, "You're a pure born wolf pup right?" Naruko asked, to which the pup just nodded with vigor, "Takahiro it is, your nobility spreads widely," Naruko said with a smile, the pup slowly nodded slightly confused. Naruko didn't bother to explain yet, she was going to make this pup strong like her, having a close companion is always great.

Naruko walked to the front with the pup on her head, "Yo," Naruko said, when both Hana and Tsume looked to the blonde's head they saw the pup sitting there, almost like how Akamaru sits on Kiba's head. They just stared for a moment longer before Tsume spoke up, "So…" Tsume thought about what to ask, "You got him to calm down?" Tsume asked, which made Naruko smile, "Yeah, I even gave him a name," Tsume and Hana looked at Naruko like she was crazy for a second before they realized, 'She can become friends with anything, I bet she'd even become friends with Kyuubi if given the chance,' both Tsume and Hana thought in unison. Tsume looked up before Hana asked a question, "So, what did you name him?" Naruko smiled, "Takahiro," Naruko replied, "I guess it is a fitting name, widely spreading nobility. For a pup as prideful as that one I doubt he even knows what we mean by that, hahaha," Tsume said laughing, Takahiro got a tick mark, "Hey you old hag! Don't make fun of me," he shouted before realizing his mistake, "Old hag huh?" Tsume said with a tick mark of her own, and a voice that made ice seem hot, "Let's get this examination out of the way then since you'll be leaving the compound," Tsume said with a scary grin, Hana who didn't understand the dog very well wasn't sure what was happening, but she could tell by the way her mother got ready that the pup was going to be glad he wasn't staying.

Tsume picked up Takahiro and placed him down on a little table, "I'm going to run the normal test to make sure he's healthy for you, alright, Naru-chan?" Tsume said it in such a way that you knew it wasn't actually a question, more of ensuring an understanding. Hana and Naruko walked outside and closed the door, shortly after Takahiro's screams could be heard throughout the compound, after an hour or so the screams finally stopped. Both of them shivered a bit, even though it was Summer, "I guess she needed to be thorough." Hana said plainly, quickly after the noise stopped they heard whimpering coming closer. Tsume came out of the building holding Takahiro, "Have this," she said with an evil grin, Takahiro was clearly traumatized from whatever things Tsume did to him, but he was otherwise unscathed. Naruko made a mental note, 'Don't get on Tsume's bad side.' Naruko looked up to see that it was getting later in the day, so she decided to head out and comfort Takahiro after his harsh experiences today, "Don't worry I won't spoil him, but after today I think he should rest." Naruko stated while turning around and waving goodbye to everyone, "Wait Naru-Chan," Tsume said, "We need to talk about how to properly take care of a canine companion," Tsume said with a foxy grin making Takahiro gulp.

~The other thousands of clones~

Just like everyday, thousands of clones were practicing taijutsu to refine movements through combat experience, some were learning math, others pattern identification, some Calligraphy, others doing nothing but practicing some Chakra control exercises, so many clones doing so many things to learn at once, mostly muscle memory, mostly being taught by Minato and Kurama. It was something that most people would never see in their entire lifetimes, Naruko would have a headache from getting all that information at once. A few clones started to work on the Rasengan even, a very productive day indeed. Kurama and Minato were impressed by the leaps; and bounds she kept jumping in training. In six years time she could be a Fuinjutsu expert, not quite master, and at least High Kage and everything but Kenjutsu, "Soon the kit is going to hit a wall until her next tail comes in, as she increases her internal Chakra pool it takes more control to use small amounts, but the tail will make a separate pool making it easier to control." Kurama said to Minato, "She's already Chunin level at least in just about everything, even if she hits a wall now she'll be stronger than almost anyone she'd be facing, let alone the fact that she has combat awareness and planning better than the Nara's. Her IQ might be behind some of the Nara now, but in a decade she'll probably be smarter than everyone in the village combined," Minato said with a laugh, "In all seriousness though Kurama, why do the tails give her powers? What are their origins?" Minato asked in monotone, gaze deader than the heat death of the universe.

-Daigoshō Owari-

Cliff hanger, I hope you enjoy it. I know that the short chapters like this make a lot of people upset but I wanted to make up for the fact I didn't post one on Saturday, or did I? I can't remember.

I will be making Naruko a very overpowered character in this fanfiction while maintaining a level of lore accuracy.

Like always, call me out on anything I messed up on, I want to make this the best thing possible.
