Sasuke's eyes narrowed at her. "Fine, you want to talk, let's talk." He said bitterly.

Sakura frowned. "No need to be an asshole about it, you wanted answers, and I'm willing to give them, isn't that why you almost choked me to death?" she asked as she switched the lights back on.

"Hn."

Sakura sighed and winced again and brought her hand up to her ear, finger tips gracing over her scar. "Itachi…" she breathed as her eyes sealed themselves shut. Sasuke was beside her in an instant. "No Sasuke, you need to go. Now." She said as she pushed him away.

"What, and leave you alone with him?" he growled. "What sort of fool do you take me for?" he demanded.

"Not a fool, an irrational asshole, now leave, before I make you." She said as she managed to push him out the door and locked it. In frustration he slammed his fists against the door until he managed to kick it down. What he saw was Sakura being swept off her feet bridal style in Itachi's arms, his brother's cold emotionless red eyes boring into his before he disappeared.

"Damnit!" he yelled in frustration before running out of the apartment and towards the Hokage's tower.

Sakura was struggling to breath, as Itachi set her back down on her feet. She staggered and he took her arm to steady her and let her lean against a tree. She rested against it, terrified out of her mind, both her arms wrapped protectively around her stomach, guarding her unborn child.

"So is it true?" he said bluntly.

Sakura remained silent, to shocked to answer, still shaking violently because of the cold and the fear that was coursing through her veins.

"I asked you a question." He growled in that empty tone of his. His eyes changing to his Mangeku Sahringan, causing a sharp pain to shoot through Sakura, originating from the scar behind her ear.

"I don't know what you mean!" she cried.

"Is the child mine!" he growled again.

"No." she sobbed violently as she collapsed to the earth beneath her feet.

"Then why did you tell Sasuke it was?" he demanded.

"Because I didn't want to tell him it was really his, I don't want him to know and he already made it very clear that he doesn't care about me, only about my daughter and that's only because he has this goal to rebuild his clan." She spat out between sobs.

Itachi growled and narrowed his eyes at her. "Why tell him it was mine, why not someone else's?" he asked.

"Because it would be easier to explain if the baby ever had the Uchiha traits without him knowing the truth, besides, it would give me an excuse as to why I didn't tell him." She informed. She didn't know why she was explaining all of this to him.

"I'm sending out calm and trust signals to your brain through the mark." He informed reading her thoughts, in a way. He continued watching her, his eyes trainied on the way she enveloped her child with her arms, as if that was all it took to keep it, safe.

Sakura noticed his stare and though she thought he was just staring at her, she finally noticed what he was staring at. She blinked in surprise, and she figured he must have read her mind through her mark, because one second he was staring at her stomach, the other his eyes were boring down into hers.

Crimson met green, holding each other for an intense moment. Sakura was the first to break the contact, looking away to her stomach. Itachi looked back at her stomach as both saw it move. Sakura was grateful it wasn't painfully readjusting herself. No, this time it was more like the child was having fun inside her. Maybe ignorance is bliss. Sakura thought to herself as she felt it kick.

She winced at that, and Itachi was beside her in a second. His hand went to her arm so he could pry it from her stomach and make sure she was alright, not wanting to be persecuted for things out of his control, and jeopardize his real mission. And that's when he noticed that she was ice cold to the touch.

He truly was about to chide her on her stupidity, for being out in the open so poorly dressed in her current state when he remembered that he had been the one to 'kidnap' her from the warmth of her apartment.

With a grunt and narrowed eyes he removed his Akatsuki cloak from his person and draped it over her shoulders. "Thanks…." She said. "Won't you be cold?" she asked.

"Hn." He rolled his eyes. "I've faced worse conditions than this." He replied. Sakura gave him a half smirk half smile. "Do you find me humorus?" he asked.

She shook her head. "No, it's just that…. Whenever we've crossed paths, you speak very few words, Sasuke rarely ever speaks and always replies with a simple hn and leaves it at that, not you apparently, And I, well, I find it, Strange? That you follow up on your comments and somewhat explanations." She said with a shrug that went unnoticed as the cloak concealed all her movements.

He glared at her for a minute before looking away. "So the child is not mine, you're just using me as an alibi as to why your child will have Uchiha traits." He said coldly. "Tell me Miss Haruno, what would you have done if my curiosity hadn't been spiked and I hadn't taken you out to take the truth from you?" he asked. "You are aware that had things been any different I would have killed you child and all."

Sakura swallowed and nodded. "Yes, I'm well aware of that, but Sasuke can never know the truth, the bastard hurt me. And I want to hurt him back." She said. "So if it means he will have a child and think it to be his brother's, so he will be denied the rights to it, so be it." She said in a strong voice.

Itachi analyzed her closely. "But from what I've been able to gather the whole village knows that Sasuke is in fact the father of the child you carry." He said.

"Women make mistakes in their math sometimes, I can pretend to have been in denial, no one would really question it." She said as she rose to her feet, her hands clutching at the cloak to keep herself warm.

"How long till it's due?"

"I want to wait full term, but..." she bit her lip.

"But?" he pressed.

"In my state it's not recommended, Lady Tsunade, who is acting as my medic demands I go into hospitalization up until the early stages of my third trimester, which would be in a couple of weeks, after that she'll do everything in her power to get me to agree to a C-section as soon as possible, which I will hold off as long as I can." She informed. "And It's a she, could you stop referring to her as an it, it makes me uncomfortable." She said.

Itachi gave her a stiff nod.

"I have two more things I would like to ask of you." She said after a long moment of silence.

He just stared at her, a signal she took for her to go on.

"I need you to make it believable, make other's, especially Sasuke believe that my daughter is yours, do whatever you have too." She said, Itachi stared at her, a flash of some unreadable emotion crossed his crimson eyes, but before Sakura could identify it, it was gone.

she swallowed the nervous lump in her throat. "And um.. could you take me back, I don't want everyone to worry about me, It's bad enough they worry without needing to, without adding me being kidnapped to the equation." she said.

"Hn." Itachi rolled his eyes and turned his back to her and began walking, a sing she took as 'follow me'.

Sakura was Scared. Yep, you got that right, the Pink Haired, Stubborn, Bad-Ass, Medi-bitch-Nin, was scared. The reason, the Raven haired bastard in front of her with an expression that could have been the very Image used to define 'If Looks Could Kill'.

it had been not long after she had arrived back and the search teams were dismissed that Sasuke had just -seemingly- calmly strolled into her apartment and taken seat on the black leather couch before her. His cold Coal Eyes staring harsh holes at her.

Never in her life, had Sakura been on the receiving end on one of the infamous Uchiha Death Glares. She'd never witnessed him being so angry. Well at least never at her.

She could see how his mouth was forming a clear infuriated sneer. She could see how his nostrils flared up with each angered breath he took in. His eyes held a strange dark glow, the contours of his face stern and fierce. He seemed like some dangerous pagan creature emerging from the witching hour. And it terrified her.

"Sasuke." she spoke warily, as she took a cautious step towards him. "What are you doing here?" she asked with what little courage she could muster up.

"I'm having Tea with the Hokage what does it look like I'm doing?" he snapped as he rose from his seat and took a step towards her.

"Take another step and I'll cry for help." she warned taking a step back away from him in the process.

"Answer my questions and I've leave you alone." he growled. "When were you planing on telling em you had been sleeping around with my brother?" he growled.

Okay, now she wasn't terrified she was down right pissed. In three short strides she closed the distance between them and slapped him, the sound echoing in her empty apartment. "You have no right to speak to me that way, what I do in my personal time is my own business, and it concerns no one else." she growled.

She stared him down in the eyes, those terrifying crimson eyes, as she heard him breath, his nose flaring as he did so. One didn't have to guess, Sasuke was raging mad.

Her breath caught in her throat. The last time he had gotten this mad at her, he had very nearly chocked her to death has she not kicked him off her. Her heart hammered in her chest as she brought her hands to embrace her stomach protectively, her gaze refused to leave his, she would not give him the benefit of seeing her scared.

Something flashed in Sasuke's eyes, but as soon as i was there, it was gone. And Sakura was close enough to recognize the emotion, it was hurt.

He took a step away from her, his gaze still cold. "Where did he take you?" he asked, obviously changing the subject.

"Just outside the village, e wanted to make sure I wasn't hurt, he saw how you reacted when you saw me, and how you're been staring at me for some time now." she said. "He was the one hat threw the kunai knife that day at the fields." she informed.

"So he's been keeping tabs on you then." he said.

"I belong to him, well I belong to the Uchiha clan, so to speak, but not by marriage, only by some ... mark he placed on me." she explained.

"The Norowareta māku?" he asked his ever present sneer was still on his lips. She stared, nodding slightly in hesitation. "Itachi left me with specific instructions to do as he asked, else he would pull the plug on me and my baby." she said.

"You keep saying your baby, isn't it his baby too, shouldn't you say our baby?" he asked.

"I told you already, this baby is mine and mine alone." she snapped. Sasuke rolled his eyes before they hardened once again in his usual annoyed glare. "so why didn't you tell me you were pregnant, what was there to fear?" he asked.

Sakura set her jaw and a cold chill caused a shiver to rake down her spine. "What would I have told you, hey Sasuke, guess what, your brother knocked me up?" she asked. "Please, you would have down right assumed she was yours, bean an asshole about the whole ordeal and then walk out on me. I told you already, I know you didn't care, and you don't really care now, so why pretend?"

"You think I'm pretending to care?" he almost growled.

"Of coarse you are, you've always thought of me as annoying, when we slept together it was just to prove a point, and when you found out I was pregnant you very damn near killed me. With your are hands I might add." she informed.

"If I didn't care about my... niece, then why would I still be doing here?" he challenged.

"Guilt, and maybe some regret, for being so insensitive." she shrugged.

"I came to offer assistance and protection."

"I can take care of myself." Sakura snapped. Sasuke ignored her. "You're no match for my brother, especially not in your state, weather either of us likes it or not that bra-baby of yours is my family as well."

Sakura went rigid at that, but she believed she knew what he meant. "That kid is part of my clan, and as the current head of it, it is my duty to keep it safe." Sasuke continued, if he had noticed her sudden change of demeanor he made no note of it. "So thou I am upset with the fact that you apparently had no real intent on telling me about this, and I don't quite know what my feelings to this whole thing are, I have taken it upon myself to arrange for you to move into the Uchiha complex tonight." he said

Sakura's eyes went wide. "Wait, what?" she asked in disbelief, it was then she noticed the packed up bags across her living room.

"I don't like having to repeat myself." he grunted in annoyance.

"Under what right, do you come into my apartment, go through my personal belongings, pack up my things and tell me I have to move in with you like some sort of property?" she demanded. "If you haven't noticed I've been able to go through more than half my pregnancy alone, I see no problem in doing so for the remainder of it."

"Under the right I claimed the moment you came clean about who the father of your child is, Uchiha blood belongs in the Uchiha Vale. I have every right and responsibility to do what I deem necessary to ensure-"

"Save the crap Sasuke, I don't want to fight you over this right now, it's been a really stressful day for me, and i'm under strict orders to remain in a stress free environment, if you have a problem with that take it up with the Hokage." she snapped.

His eyes narrowed slightly at her, watching as she placed a hand on her bloated stomach and walked the door holding it open for him to leave. "Did you not hear me? I said we're leaving to he Uchiha Vale Complex tonight." he growled.

"I need my rest you rat face hypocritical bastard, now get out of my apartment before I call security on you, I never said I wasn't going to move into the complex, Itachi already requested, well demanded actually, that I do so, and he -not you- is the rightful Uchiha head, which gives you no right over me, the only obligation you have is to keep our baby safe." she snapped.

Sasuke's face iced, and he walked to her. Sakura's heart hammered against her chest but she kept a composed expression. "Very well, as you wish, my lady." he snapped.

"Out." she said through gritted teeth, opening the door further for him to exit.

"I'll have someone come to fetch you tomorrow at four, be ready." he said before leaving out the door and down the hall.

Sakura slammed e door behind him. "You fucking asshole! I hate him!" she cried out in frustration.
